My favorite cupcake was the Guinness chocolate cupcake they had for St Patrick’s day. Today I got a vegan chocolate cupcake, and a regular chocolate cupcake, unicorn poop and a s’mores donut. The interior is decorated with art, more greenery, and has plenty of seats available.Parking can be a pain, but since it’s near a residential area, street parking can be found.That being said, because of the space, the openness and the amount of people it can fit, it’s much louder than your typical cafe. This isn’t the cafe you want to work in, but the cafe you want to socialize with friends in.Food wise, I had the fried chicken with waffles and it was okay. The fried al chicken was more akin to chicken nuggets, and the black waffles were made with a mochi flour which gave it a different texture. Pricing was also fairly expensive, a sparkling passion fruit lemonade, which is essentially juice and soda water, is $7.Overall, I would come to check out the decor and the experience of a cafe in a forest, but not stay any longer than I need to.“

“I'd driven past Nana's Bakery many times and heard good things about it so when I saw it on the Too Good To Go app, I decided to give them a try. The bag was filled mostly with savoury goods in it but we did get one baked good that seemed to be more of a dessert. When I picked it up, I inquired about whether there was any meat in any of the foods. The lady was kind enough to switch some of the foods for me so that it was all Vegetarian food in the bag.To be honest, we weren't crazy about every single item in our bag. For the price we paid though, I think it was still very good value and we did find at least two items in the bag that we very much enjoyed. So would I go back to Nana's Bakery? Absolutely! There was some kind of savoury pastry that had a potato filling in it. Loved that. Also, there was some kind of spiral pastry with cheese in it. Loved that as well. I was very happy that the lady was willing to switch the foods for me so that it was Vegetarian, so…top marks for customer service!“
“This is La Foret's second location. It is different from the first location. At the moment this is a to-go location. I was surprised to walk in to see a big open space. They have donuts, croissants, pastries, cookies and ice cream. They also have coffee and other drinks. We went on a Sunday and there was only one person working. It was surprisingly quiet compared to the first location. I got a croissant and B got a coffee bun. The croissant was nice, flaky and fluffy. For $3.75 can't complain. B really liked their coffee bun. It has butter coffee filling inside which is very different. The location is very convenient. It is walking distance beside the skytrain. I will definitely go back for other treats.“
“First time here since the bakery came under new ownership last year, but it didn't disappoint! We thought the variety of pastries and their quality were not compromised. Ordered some sausage rolls, cookies, their pear tart, and pistachio roll. The sausage rolls had adequate meat filling. With the cookies, we're allowed to mix & match when purchasing a dozen or half a dozen. Good nutty flavours for the almond and caramel crunch cookies, and the jam shortbread still maintained its moistness! The pistachio roll still tasted great the day after when warmed in the microwave to allow the inner filling to melt.The only issue we had was with the pear tart and separating it from the outer wrap/paper. It was stuck and we had difficulty peeling it off, so had to basically scoop and eat the pastry from the attached paper. Will return to try some different pastries and baked goods! Hopefully they update their website in the near future, as itemizing their products would be valuable for new customers.“
“Okay what can I say about JJ beanie is that their food is really really good and what I like about their food is that it's really good and I believe they're also made. It's kind of like almost. I don't know how to explain the food. The food is organic for one and and it's delicious. Number two and number three is some of the items are vegan which I absolutely love and me being a diabetic and all the food is amazing and it doesn't bother my blood sugars whatsoever so thumbs up for that and then the service. What can I say about the service? The service is amazing. They're always super friendly. They're always really nice and overall every time you come in they always greet you with a nice smile on their face and then they start talking to you. It's just an amazing place to be which I love. And as for atmosphere goes, I love her atmosphere. I absolutely do I. I love it. I can't get enough. It's not so busy. Most of the time is not busy but it's like welcoming and it's warm and it's just overall amazing like amazing atmosphere and I absolutely love that. Although they could use some no plugins to plug in your like. You know cell phones or laptops or what have you? But to be honest, besides that, there's like nothing bad or wrong that I could say about JJ being. I absolutely love it. I do and I love the workers there are there. “Sooo good Me and my friend ordered 3 cinnamon sugar pretzel sticks and I think we both fell in love at first bite. The pretzels are made fresh so they were nice and warm ~We also ordered hot chocolate; I wasn't a big fan because it didn't have the strong chocolate taste I was craving, but my friend really liked it.This a great place to go for a delicious (and surprisingly cheap!) snack :)“
“Very nice place to get some fresh pastries! I got here in the morning, and I can smell the butter from all the baking. I got the ham and cheese croissant and the peach galette. Both are very buttery and have lots of flavour. I also got a box of chocolate because it looks very beautiful. My problem is with the chocolate. Some of them had muted flavours, so I can't taste anything but cheesecake (for the cheesecake ones).Overall, I would come back here for the pastries as they are made fresh and pack a lot of flavour. I would not get the chocolates, but they do look very beautiful.“

“My family and I stopped here last Saturday after lunch. We came in for a coffee /chai latte fix that day. We ordered Latte, coffee and Chai Latte. I personally found Chai Latte to be sweet and ended up not liking it. Coffee and latte were good. Please do not order Chai Latte here it tasted too sugary.I changed my mind after one sip and felt sorry to ask for a refund. Surprisingly the staff gave me a difference after getting a roast coffee. Service was fast and friendly here. I’ve never tried their pies, but will have to try them on the next visit.“

Recently I decided to give it another try for my favorite Mammoth Bread (맘모스빵) only to find lack of ingredients between the buns, just a thin layer of spread which was very disappointing. “Well where do I begin! I have been going to Bonbon for many years now and I have trusted them with all of my unique ordered til date. The entire staff is just amazing and the service is next to no other. I recently ordered a beautiful 2 tier custom cake for my daughter’s 4th bday. The details and the cake were EXACTLY what we imagined . Unfortunately as I was driving I somehow slammed my breaks- you guessed it. Cake was in shambles!I called bonbon bakery in tears as my daughter’s bday party was the next day. The ENTIRE staff here assured me to not worry and that they would RECREATE the magical cake . I went in the next morning to pick up the cake and it was so beautiful. And to my shocking surprise, they did NOT charge me one penny to remake it!The staff was truly so spectacular and the owners son was so kind and pleasant.
