“What a GEM. This place has a solid menu and pretty authentic flavours considering the low prices. Others charge 150-200% more and that makes 0 sense in this economy. I had the Aglio Olio and it was a 9/10. Free garlic bread and a 25% discount if you follow on Insta. Seoyoung was a great server and was so sweet and helpful.

“I went in to pick up pizzas to go at the Sunwood Square restaurant in Coquitlam and noticed one of my pizzas (a pizza of the day for $10.99) was charge at regular price and I did not notice until I got home. After speaking with Mahmoud Ali on the phone he apologized for overlooking the Pizza of the day price and credited me for the difference, making me happy with my overall experience. I recommend visiting this store for any pizza needs.“

The menu has a delightful array of traditional Italian dishes, each crafted with care and authenticity. We started with Bruschettini Pugliese and Affettati e olive fritto. The best fried olives I ever tried; both appies were perfect. For the main courses we indulged in the Linguine e salmone, Lasagna and Spaghetti aglio olio e prezzemolo. I never tried pasta with lemon before; I have been missing out! Simply delicious. And of course we had to try the desserts: Grappa Tiramisu (I think it needed more mascarpone cheese), Frittelle di Carnevale (see photo) and Torta al Limone, which the attentive and friendly Jessica made more appealing by adding a candle to celebrate the occasion. When I called, the girl explained that the Doordash drivers were refusing to deliver it because it was a 15 min drive away (instead of 8 min). The staffer organized another driver and made a fresh pizza to deliver it. Overall it took about 3 hours total from order to arrival, but the staffer did her best to manage the situation. Big thanks to her!“

“Don’t rate this restaurant on its decor, it’s the home cooking that you go for and it’s done to perfection. Huge portions. My seafood pasta was loaded and had a little spice to it and my husband’s chicken breast also had the leg attached so was really half a chicken, it was so moist and tender. The glasses of wine are huge, unfortunately I didn’t like mine and Jasmine changed it for another, I should have sampled it first. Will I go back again, you bet I will. We ordered a large lamb curry, tawa rotis and chicken pulao. The portions were huge and well worth the money as they were packed to the brim.
