“First time coming here, and I would definitely come back! The Italian grilled cheese special was so good I didn't even think to take a picture before we ate it all. My iced mocha was fantastic - not overly sweet yet you could taste the chocolate; exactly what you want an iced mocha to be like. The guy working there had a great sense of humour and was very charismatic. It's a friendly and chill atmosphere. The churro donuts were incredibly fluffy and so good warmed up. “My favorite and regular go-to bakery in Coquitlam! I regularly get the French Onion pull-apart, croissants, and cookies. Unfortunately, I've never tried the cake yet. The French Onion pull-apart is definitely the best in town. The texture is very flaky and moist, so buttery, and the onion and cheese flavor is perfect. The size is appropriate for the price. I highly recommend grabbing this one. The Palmier is a good item. It's very buttery, and the sugar on top was perfect, not too sweet. I prefer it to be a bit more flaky and lighter, but still, this place's Palmier is quite good. The apple turnover is very good too. The pie dough was very flaky and light, and the filling is perfectly sweet. Besides their regular menu items, I visited this place to grab seasonal items such as the Hot Cross Bun. Their Hot Cross Bun is also one of the best I've ever had. I also visited to grab a special croissant for the Vancouver Croissant Festival. It seems their croissant won the award for the best or most popular item in the event. They participate in some food events, so I recommend grabbing these special items, which never disappoint.“

The interior is decorated with art, more greenery, and has plenty of seats available.Parking can be a pain, but since it’s near a residential area, street parking can be found.That being said, because of the space, the openness and the amount of people it can fit, it’s much louder than your typical cafe. This isn’t the cafe you want to work in, but the cafe you want to socialize with friends in.Food wise, I had the fried chicken with waffles and it was okay. The fried al chicken was more akin to chicken nuggets, and the black waffles were made with a mochi flour which gave it a different texture. Pricing was also fairly expensive, a sparkling passion fruit lemonade, which is essentially juice and soda water, is $7.Overall, I would come to check out the decor and the experience of a cafe in a forest, but not stay any longer than I need to.“

It was so fresh that as soon as I had a bite the wafer was melting in my mouth and their chicken bihari paratha roll is soo flavourful that it reminded me of Delhi kathi roll? and I ordered everything online even after that it was that good , I can only imagine how good it will be if you had these at the bakery it self. “I can say that I have been to this place more than 50 times since 2018, I have seen the evolution of many things, many dishes and many flavors, as well as the change of the staff, etc.The only reason we go there is because my partner loves the molletes and I am a big fan of the tortilla soup and tacos.the desserts tres leches cake and the bakery is delicious.Always when we go to this place we usually order the same dishes, today was no exception, I asked for an extra chorizo to be added to the molletes, the person who was attending me said no, I told him that they always add an extra chorizo, never was a problem before in charging me for it,However, he refused to do it, I understand that many times the dishes are not modifiable, but adding an extra and paying for it I think it is a benefit for the restaurant to generate more sales, or honestly I don't understand why they can't make that kind of changes.As an extra advice , it would be really nice to had the option to buy single tacos or add a taco in an order.George ;)“

“I'd driven past Nana's Bakery many times and heard good things about it so when I saw it on the Too Good To Go app, I decided to give them a try. The bag was filled mostly with savoury goods in it but we did get one baked good that seemed to be more of a dessert. When I picked it up, I inquired about whether there was any meat in any of the foods. The lady was kind enough to switch some of the foods for me so that it was all Vegetarian food in the bag.To be honest, we weren't crazy about every single item in our bag. For the price we paid though, I think it was still very good value and we did find at least two items in the bag that we very much enjoyed. So would I go back to Nana's Bakery? Absolutely! There was some kind of savoury pastry that had a potato filling in it. Loved that. Also, there was some kind of spiral pastry with cheese in it. Loved that as well. I was very happy that the lady was willing to switch the foods for me so that it was Vegetarian, so…top marks for customer service!“

“My daughter had ordered the delicious dacarons from Earthling Foods in December, and then received a notice for a class there in February. We both attended and had such fun. We had hands-on instruction about making small dacarons and a mini-cake, and the experience was so enjoyable, both in instruction and atmosphere. “This is La Foret's second location. It is different from the first location. At the moment this is a to-go location. I was surprised to walk in to see a big open space. They have donuts, croissants, pastries, cookies and ice cream. They also have coffee and other drinks. We went on a Sunday and there was only one person working. It was surprisingly quiet compared to the first location. I got a croissant and B got a coffee bun. The croissant was nice, flaky and fluffy. For $3.75 can't complain. B really liked their coffee bun. It has butter coffee filling inside which is very different. The location is very convenient. It is walking distance beside the skytrain. I will definitely go back for other treats.“

“Okay what can I say about JJ beanie is that their food is really really good and what I like about their food is that it's really good and I believe they're also made. It's kind of like almost. I don't know how to explain the food. The food is organic for one and and it's delicious. Number two and number three is some of the items are vegan which I absolutely love and me being a diabetic and all the food is amazing and it doesn't bother my blood sugars whatsoever so thumbs up for that and then the service. What can I say about the service? The service is amazing. They're always super friendly. They're always really nice and overall every time you come in they always greet you with a nice smile on their face and then they start talking to you. It's just an amazing place to be which I love. And as for atmosphere goes, I love her atmosphere. I absolutely do I. I love it. I can't get enough. It's not so busy. Most of the time is not busy but it's like welcoming and it's warm and it's just overall amazing like amazing atmosphere and I absolutely love that. Although they could use some no plugins to plug in your like. You know cell phones or laptops or what have you? But to be honest, besides that, there's like nothing bad or wrong that I could say about JJ being. I absolutely love it. I do and I love the workers there are there. “I went to the Bakery location off Coast Meridian this morning and ordered 2 cinnamon buns, a cheese scone and 2 brownies. The employee putting the order in the take out box used her fingers (no gloves, no tongs) to pick up the brownies from the display case and put the brownies in the box! I didn’t see how the other items were selected because I was looking at some other items on the side counter then turned back to look as the employee picked up the brownies but it seems likely fingers were used for those as well. The employee then used the cash register etc. I felt really awkward about saying anything in the moment…paid and left but kept thinking about it and didn’t end up eating any of the items because who knows if the employees hands were clean. This was definitely not a safe food serving practice and I won’t be buying anything here again.*UPDATE*The Bakery was quick to respond and to address my concerns. As a result I will visit again!“

I've purchased desserts here once and they were tasty and "fresh".They used to carry cheese stuffed peppers but unfortunately no longer do.There should be one worker accepting payments only, as their sole job, while the others slice deli and serve buns. This would be much more hygienic and efficient.“

“We moved from Hastings to Coquitlam 11 years ago. I used to shop at the Hastings location for my Italian cooking supplies. I always bought my son a couple of eclairs for his after school treats. Staff there were very friendly.Before Covid I bumped the owners(I guess) in the POCO Costco parking lot and thought they had come all the way from East Van to POCO for their shopping. I did tell them all my good memories of the Hastings store.Then I started to see the van with the logo parking on Nicola Ave a couple of years ago and googled that there is a store.Finally I walked into the store and was told by the friendly girl that it was the same owner as Hastings. My son said to her: how nostalgic to see and smell the same food!We bought one loaf of pesto and cheese bread, a salt caramel St. honour and a pizza dough. Delicious ? all the flavours are well balanced and the texture is perfect.I think for Tricity area, if you want to get some authentic Italian food or pastries, definitely come here. Highly recommend it!Parking: The parking is a bit confusing. The store front has a couple of reserved parking. Even though the next door business has some parking spaces but am not sure if it’s OK to park.“

Both are very buttery and have lots of flavour. I also got a box of chocolate because it looks very beautiful. My problem is with the chocolate. Some of them had muted flavours, so I can't taste anything but cheesecake (for the cheesecake ones).Overall, I would come back here for the pastries as they are made fresh and pack a lot of flavour. I would not get the chocolates, but they do look very beautiful.“
