“The bakery offers amazing, fresh, and delicious breads. The service is excellent, the products are of high quality, and the staff is friendly. It's the best place to find Persian-style bread in Metro Vancouver, with Barbari bread being particularly delicious and recommended for its top-notch quality.“

“My daughter had ordered the delicious dacarons from Earthling Foods in December, and then received a notice for a class there in February. We both attended and had such fun. We had hands-on instruction about making small dacarons and a mini-cake, and the experience was so enjoyable, both in instruction and atmosphere. I would highly recommend this bakery and the class offered there.“

“I went to the Bakery location off Coast Meridian this morning and ordered 2 cinnamon buns, a cheese scone and 2 brownies. The employee putting the order in the take out box used her fingers (no gloves, no tongs) to pick up the brownies from the display case and put the brownies in the box! I didn’t see how the other items were selected because I was looking at some other items on the side counter then turned back to look as the employee picked up the brownies but it seems likely fingers were used for those as well. The employee then used the cash register etc. I felt really awkward about saying anything in the moment…paid and left but kept thinking about it and didn’t end up eating any of the items because who knows if the employees hands were clean. This was definitely not a safe food serving practice and I won’t be buying anything here again.*UPDATE*The Bakery was quick to respond and to address my concerns. As a result I will visit again!“

“We moved from Hastings to Coquitlam 11 years ago. I used to shop at the Hastings location for my Italian cooking supplies. I always bought my son a couple of eclairs for his after school treats. Staff there were very friendly. Before Covid I bumped the owners(I guess) in the POCO Costco parking lot and thought they had come all the way from East Van to POCO for their shopping. I did tell them all my good memories of the Hastings store. Then I started to see the van with the logo parking on Nicola Ave a couple of years ago and googled that there is a store. Finally I walked into the store and was told by the friendly girl that it was the same owner as Hastings. My son said to her: how nostalgic to see and smell the same food!We bought one loaf of pesto and cheese bread, a salt caramel St. honour and a pizza dough. Delicious ? all the flavours are well balanced and the texture is perfect.I think for Tricity area, if you want to get some authentic Italian food or pastries, definitely come here. Highly recommend it!Parking: The parking is a bit confusing. The store front has a couple of reserved parking. Even though the next door business has some parking spaces but am not sure if it’s OK to park.“

“3.5 rating. Coffee was great. Love the tables / leather padded seating / arrangements - - a change from plastic chairs at other establishments. The bun and muffin was dry. Had them heated up but still dry - hopefully not old? Parked in the well lit underground . On the ground level but the entry door is not handicap ready- I noticed and opened the door for a person in a wheel chair.Wheelchair accessibility: Manual front door on ground level . Front door not equipped with necessary hardware - if you are in a wheelchair.“

““As a celiac, I have been enjoying GluteNull’s products since they became available in 2011. Their artisan gluten-free breads, made with alternative, nutritious buckwheat, amaranth & quinoa flours – are rich in flavor and made with healthier, slow-acting enzymes i.e. better for my digestion! Over the years they have listened to consumers and worked hard to provide us with delicious vegan, keto-friendly, diabetic-friendly and even raw baking – always 100% gluten free. Everything they do is done with integrity and only the freshest, quality ingredients. GluteNull brings its high standards to everything they make from bread, cookies, bars and granola by certifying their products with third parties for non-gmo, and gluten free. I am a dedicated fan of this tight-knit, family-owned company. I look forward to their ongoing leadership in doing their very best for their customers!” Ellen, The Celiac Scene.“
