“The BEST breads! Found them through (at) Sungiven Foods and just discovered they have an actual whole bakery! My favorite is the sourdough loaf and mini sourdough buns. The density and texture is perfect with a nice, clean sour taste. Toasts beautifully, remains crispy/crusty while still soft. Family loves it too as well as the pao de casa buns and the baguettes. Muffins are also yummy. Happy to have such a good bakery storefront around and also easily available in other stores :)“
“I really adore this café... Basically everything about it is wonderful. The drinks are delicious, the food is good, the washrooms are clean, the decor and styling are so stylish and comfortable, there are outlets to do laptop work, the music is thoughtfully chosen and not distracting, and the staff are lovely and friendly. It has such a natural atmosphere with the plants, and I love the concept of bringing back the reusable cups each time. Not only is this good for the environment, but it is also a great way to foster a feeling of community. One of the best cafés in North Van!“

“A new bookstore in Deep Cove! They have amazing coffee, too. I bought two books but I'm definitely going back for more. It's obvious there was a lot of thought put into the book selection. I was also impressed that they have books by local writers. They have nice comfy benches where you can sit while you narrow down your selection. I also bought a cool kitty cat puzzle for my mother-in-law.“

“Some of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. Rule of thumb for deli sandwich places? Always make sure at least one person behind the counter is in a bad mood. For some odd reason you just know the sandwiches are gonna slap. Perhaps it's just the realness for me. 11$ is an absolute steal for the amount of stuff you can cram into 2 slices of bread. I think they could compete with la grotta if they just upped their bread game and started slanging some olive focaccia or something. Definitely a go to if you want a very solid sandwich. “Great place for a sweet treat! Very reasonably priced as well. I can't even understand how they turn a profit on some of the baked goods. 0.45 cents for a shortbread cookie that was just as good as some 5$ ones I have tried. The apple square was tasty too. I got a strawberry donut as well which was a bit chewy but thats yeast based donuts for ya. The strawberry filling was yummy and everything is super well priced. Definitely give it a shot if you are in the area. I will likely be back“
