“we got the pickle pizza and lemme tell you it was mouth drooling good! the person on the front counter was very polite and had the greatest and most welcoming smile. everything on the menu sounded fantastic I wish I could try it all!! hands down I'll be going here everytime I make a quadra trip!”
“I just tried this place for the first time today. and holy. it was phenomenal. it definitely exceeded the high expectations I had. Carly is an amazing owner and her food is top notch. The vibe is wonderful, chill and peaceful. So cute. I will be back. Thanks Carly!”
“Spent the weekend on Quadra and got takeout one night for dinner. The service was very quick and staff were very friendly. The food was very good as well.. so good I had to phone them and tell them afterwards. The Cesar dressing is clearly homemade and it was one of the best Cesar salads I've ever had. I also had the cod burger and fish tacos both we're great.I will eat here everytime I'm back in Quadra”
“I’ve only had take out food, but have to say that both things I tried were unbelievably delicious. The quiche and the turkey pot pie with biscuit topping were top notch. Very generous serving size and excellent fresh tasting ingredients reminds me of a truly home cooked meal. Highly recommend.”
“Excellent food, from the Tapsalog to the Soup and sandwich combo. Definitely a good place to eat. We like to support the local small businesses whenever we travel, and this was a great choice. Nice place to eat. We would definitely return when we come back.”
“Just go! It's fantastic!!! I went somewhere else for lunch when I went, and I didn't like it, so I was feeling ripped off. I decided I needed something sweet to make up for it. I do not regret this decision. Best cakes ever! I got the tiramisu cheese cake and my friend got the Earl Grey Mandarin Orange cake. We were in heaven. I seriously am considering selling my soul to Sarah in exchange for free cake forever. Pls go check out her lil shop”
“Local review - Excellent service, authentic, kind, generous owner. Unique location right on the water. Coffee is solid, organic and roasted in small batches. Stop in and spend some money. Support local!”
“Best place for a beer and a bite in Campbell River. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and just a genuinely awesome place to relax and unwind. Family and dog friendly too!!!”
“We pulled in unexpectedly on our way home to comox from a hike. We were just going to grab a coffee but when we saw the menu we were pleasantly surprised especially when we saw the small pamphlet selling Korean take out with the most delicious looking menu! The food did not disappoint from the Korean bowls that were not overpowered spicy sauce and were perfectly balanced flavours and very fresh ingredients. The cheese cake was to die for and the plum tea was so refreshing and unique for me.As I was eating the food, I was too curious to know the story behind the man who prepared it because I knew there was something special there. Jaegseun (Jackson) Yoo told me that his grandfather had escaped northern Korea during the war and that his family had to use Korean cuisine as their only means to survive and make a living in China! I didn’t get a chance to ask much more about his story because he was getting busy and was working the place alone but I will definitely be back to try some of the other delicious looking items in the menu!I hope that Jaegseun has much success in Campbell river and I’d love to see him up his business with some more signage to let people know he sells bubble tea and Korean cuisine and maybe a chance to renovate to make the dine in experience even more cozy with some unique and personalized style and character ? that would bring the whole place together in the most artful way!Vegetarian options: Absolutely delicious and full of subtle yet fresh and rich flavour”
“The croissants and drinks are delicious, service is excellent and friendly, and it is a quiet, comfortable place to sit and indulge! Did I mention the perfection of croissants? The only problem is it’s hard to choose and limit yourself to just 1 or 2.”
“Mikis has been a sushi staple to the Campbell River area for quite some time now! It is very family friendly. I have a teenage daughter who has been going to Mikis for quite some time now. It's a place her and her friends have felt comfortable going to for a long time, and they've never received poor quality service or refused service because of their age. It is now a place that she takes family out to, her grandpa included, for dinners and such. I personally am very picky when it comes to sushi, and will rarely eat it. However I will eat Mikis everytime! I am excited to try their western breakfast in the future!!”
“If there’s anything you do while in Campbell River, GO FOR SUSHI HERE.Everything was fresh, flavourful and huge portions! We had 6 different rolls, nigiri, tempura, miso, chicken Katsu and a bento box!I’ve eaten sushi all over this island, and this is the very best!!”
“I just tried the new veggie bite street tacos ! ? they were really good! They left off the pineapple BBQ sauce because im not into BBQ sauce but the falafel bites go so good with the burrito sauce! And with soft ? corn tortillas they were both vegetarian and gluten free!”
“In Campbell River for a few days for family business. BCC was close by our Airbnb. REALLY happy we stopped in! Unpretentious decor, friendly service, and good food. Will be back!”
“The fish & chips and deep fried pickles here are delicious, fresh and not overly greasy.Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is located on a water dock, the only access is down one of the two ramps and along the dock.”
“VEGAN food made with care in an old school diner. Seriously amazing vegan options for breakfast lunch or dinner. Don’t judge this place from the outside because it’s super clean and nostalgic inside. Great service, great atmosphere and great food. Vegans have an awesome option when in Campbell River. Highly recommend. Arrive early as it fills up quickly and you will be waiting.Dietary restrictions: Vegan”
“Great breakfast/ brunch/ lunch menu. Visiting from out of town and tried it on a whim as we didn’t want to go to a chain restaurant. We had the pork schnitzel and were pleasantly surprised to find it was actually a freshly made schnitzel, not a pre-made frozen one like you find almost everywhere. We also had the Bannock Benedict, a super cool twist on the classic version with awesome hollandaise. Really friendly staff, fast and fresh and delicious.”
“Love this place. Great food. I only gave 4 stars for service because it gets very busy. It Is so popular with the locals and it is seasonal, so there is often a wait. Unfortunately this is not something they can easily control. I just make sure I allow time to accommodate the wait times. Great West Coast vibe”
“Great food, great service, staff was friendly and quick. Highly recommend the mini egg cheese cake and the walnut sausage pizza.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options, the walnut sausage pizza was excellent, highly recommended.”
“I went here with good friends for lunch the other day and when we went to leave my Mum couldn't put any weight on her leg. I asked the staff if we could leave via the emergency exit on the patio. Right away the older gentleman there asked what was wrong and when I explained he said no problem. Came out to make sure my Mum was ok and if he or they could do anything. When i went to get the vehicle they had gotten a bar stool and were able to sit her on it. Between the gentleman and two other staff and my friend they carried Mum safely to the truck helped her in and the older gentleman even offered to personally bring her a meal if she was 'stuck' at the ER for long, if we went there. The staff from the time we arrived were friendly and fun and the food was wonderful. Get the Maui Shrimp!!!! My Mum and i can not thank them enough for their wonderfully kind service. I spent nearly 30yrs as a Manager in the industry in Victoria and if it was there I would DEFINITLY recommend for the Victoria Hospitality Award, (that i personally got in 1999) for service above and beyond. Thank you so much to all of you there that day. Trust me.. we'll be back”

“We’ve always dined in but today I did my first take away order. It was immaculate. How on earth they managed to still have my eggs medium on take away I’ll never know. Highly recommend, great taste, lovely menu!”
“Tried my first take out tonight, vermicelli lemon grass chicken, with spring rolls, called in early as I was travelling up from Courtenay, was ready and waiting when I arrived. When I got home, the scent that had filled my car, delivered in taste as wellGood service, good pricing and Very Good food!”
“We had takeout from BaBa Gannouj for the first time after hearing my parents rave reviews - oh my goodness, it was so good!!! We will be stopping there every time we’re in Campbell River. Really friendly customer service. Thank you, BaBa Gannouj!! ❤️”
“Love the selection they carry, my favorites have been the stuffed croissants, the butter chicken calzone and the scones. They are a great bakery that can't be skipped!”
“Best cheesecake I've ever tasted!! I can't wait to try the rest of the flavours!! It's super creamy and rich but also light some how. I can't wait to eat more. I'll be ”
“We did the hotpot experience at Beijing House and it was delicious! You need to reserve in advance but it was well worth it. Cooking food at the table was a cool experience. The service was quick and the prices more than fair. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.”
“I consider myself to be a connoisseur of Apple Fritters, having sampled the vast majority of opportunities in Western Canada. These are the best. Hands down. Not too sweet or greasy, light, large (bigger than my hand), flavourful and cinnamon to apple is pretty close to perfect (I prefer stronger cinnamon but that's for me).Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrance, no auto door though.”
“This place is as good as most Indian restaurants in Surrey. There are not many great restaurants in CR but this is one of them. One of the best Indian restaurants on the Island and definitely a treat. The food is amazing here and everything I tried is just delicious. Naan bread, samosa, curries, rice dishes and mango lassie. The service is very nice and attentive which is way better than you get in Surrey. The restaurant decor and atmosphere is solid and feels cosy. I definitely recommend it if you are in the area!”
