“The drinks at this location are good and their loyalty stamp card is a nice incentive to keep coming back. However, on our last visit, the staff told us that he will not stamp our card for purchasing our drinks online. We said okay, but he felt the need to voice his frustration that he is 'losing money' from the commission he pays the food ordering app.It was an awkward interaction, and it felt like we were being shamed for ordering through the app for pickup. But we probably would not have thought to order from Happy Lemon tonight, if we did not see their business scrolling on the app.The stamp card is a fun incentive for us to keep coming back to eventually earn a free drink. Maybe they are missing the point of a loyalty card?“
“Small space but very clean.Only 1-2 cats were awake, and the rest were sleeping. Kids found it not as fun as expected due to a lack of response from the cats. I won't recommend it if you are looking for a fun, vibrant spot with cats running around. It's a quiet, calming place with no running.“
“She’s very nice but it’s hard for her understanding when I say my order so I wrote it down and the drinks and food are very good and the strawberry milk with pearls that I always get is better than the other bubble tea stores because they add a tiny bit more tea and makes it kinda more sugary and the drinks from this store is balanced. I really love this bubble tea store!“
“I had a tiramisu latte which I loved! So I can't really comment on the quality of food.As far as regular latte goes, I didn't like it. It was way too milky and too less caffeinated for my taste. That's why i cant give 5*However I recommend this place if you are in the neighborhood.“
“The free delivery service is really convenient! It’s also particularly good if it’s open until 00.30! I have ordered a lot. My family and I all love ordering when we have guests. The ingredients are non-chemical, so I like it very much (not a professional, but a personal opinion). The delivery clerk is always very kind. I just happened to go to the store today and encountered a mango milk-covered green tea sample and asked for it. It was so generous and delicious! make my day!!!! Thank you ? (I love the fact that there is a parking lot♡I like to order fruit tea and choose sugar-free, which is just right for me!“
“Best value bubble tea shop I have found. They have an extensive menu. My favorites are the fruit and ice cream bubble teas. I love the weekly deal that they have. I have frequented this place so much that it is now my go-to bubble tea shop. I tried to look through my gallery for a picture, but apparently, I'm too excited to drink the bubble tea to pause for a picture.“
“This is such a fun, quirky restaurant! This dessert shop is just outside Stadium-Chinatown, making it a great next stop after a dinner or drinks in Gastown.Once you sit down, you can order your food and drinks from the online menu. This can be a bit confusing how to navigate BUT while we were ordering, the owner noticed that we were having a bit of trouble ordering from the menu. He came to our table and explained everything to us. The owner was super friendly and chatted with us for a minute. He even remembered us from the year prior when we visited. One of the stand out menus is the spiked bubble tea, so this is the perfect solution if you’re craving a bit of alcohol and a bit of bubble tea. However, this time I ordered the Taro and Coconut Smoothie, as well as the Banana Mochi Crepe, both of which I would recommend.“
“Personally found the drinks better than the food they provide. Ordered the Yakult Strawberry Yogurt and the Strawberry Banana Yogurt. Both were good choices and a change of pace from the regular milk tea places. The consistency is more thick but still smooth to drink. If you haven't tried this place yet, I would go and find out how good an alternative to milk teas and other teas can be. What brought my rating down was the food experience. The Matcha Yuzu Bun was really hard to eat (literally could not use the plastic spoon to break into the bun) and seemed bland. Overall, great drinks and the space is moderately nice to sit and spend some time with others. Does not hold a lot of people. The worker was also nice and friendly.“
“Amazing little hidden gem. Feels homey ans family run. Amazing food and great veg options.Their pho beef noodle soup was incredible and easily one of the best spots I've stopped off at in the city. Also had a lemongrass chicken bahn mi; needless to say I will be “
“It’s a nice and cozy little store that I’ve been going since 2020ish(during the pandemic) their pearls are always soft and chewy. My favorite orders are the purple rice drink, fresh taro, and roasted oolong. They also give student discount making their bbt very “
“I came to Vancouver on a business trip and I came to Deer Alley by myself. I ordered Signature Taiwanese Beef Noodle and fruit tea. There were only a few customers in the store. It was quiet. Quick and nice service here. There were quite a few menu items but I ordered Signature Beef Noodle and a fruit drink to take hotel. The signature beef noodles was quite spicy and made me cough at first. It was funny because other people were coughing in the same way. However, I soon got used to the spiciness and finished eating. The beef was tender and just the right amount. I ordered a lemon drink to take home and had it added with jelly and shredded coconut. The taste was bland because no sweetener was added. Maybe it would be easier to drink if it was sweetened. I would like to try other menu items next time.“
“Metre street parking available only, no laptops after 5pm and laptop limited to only one hour. Need space with greens and some sort of cultural umbrella that dims the lighting.Parking: No parking.Kid-friendliness: Cafe by day and bar at night so I assume it’s not possibleWheelchair accessibility: Doors don’t open auto but there are chairs that can be moved away for wheelchair or stroller“
“I was craving a real good milky tea with boba and I found it here! The interior was so cute! I love the Island in the middle and the look of it overall. My fiancé and I went here right when they opened and they were so nice and let us know it may take a couple more minutes than usual since they literally just opened the door haha - Overall, staff was friendly and understanding.I ordered the Yin Yang Milk Tea (as pictured) and it was delicious! It was my first time trying this type of tea ever and they got me hooked! If you love Hong Kong Milk Tea, I feel like you'd love this. The coffee in it too was perfection! They brew Assam black tea and put a double shot of Prototype Espresso with a drizzle of evaporated milk. I miss it already! I want to return already but I'm in Ontario so...you know haha“
“Cha Yuan is my cup of (bubble) tea! It’s a little shop with a wide selection of drinks (milk teas, lattes, fruit teas, slushes, and brewed teas), as well as bubble waffles and gelatos. The tea flavour is quite delicate, with options to substitute the milk with oat milk (for free!) and adjust the ice and sugar levels for certain drinks. Further, some drinks are caffeine free and available hot. It looks like there is only one size for drinks though. If you do opt for pearls, Cha Yuan’s have a nice chew/QQ to them. My favourite drinks so far have been Matcha Latte ($6.50) with Coffee Jelly (+$0.75), Hojicha Milk Tea ($6) with Grass Jelly (+$0.75), and Brown Sugar Pearl Latte ($6), all substituted with oat milk.Cha Yuan is more of a grab and go, but there is some bar seating by the window should you choose to stay longer. Usually, there is only one staff member - at times, two - attending to both the till and the drinks, so there may be a slight wait. That said, the service is great, as is the quality of the drinks. Get a stamp card because you will be back for more!Dietary restrictions: Oat milk substitution is free!“
“Great place to try your favorite Taiwanese Milk Tea.. The location is inside the train station so kinda difficult to look for but there are signages outside so you won’t need to worry. The place open late so please wait as perfection takes time.. The store was clean even the washroom during our time of visit. The service was fast and the boba was fresh.. Yummy!! I think everything was fresh. There is no parking available and only limited seats available so if you want to order I also suggest doing it in Doordash or Ubereats as they are also available in those flatforms. The Signature Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk Tea is a must-try.Wheelchair accessibility: Thru elevator“
“Best experience I ever had. Had the best hospitality and customer service. The owners were so sweet and heartwarming and the food is just as Good. I’ve tried almost everything at the cafe and the taste is just outstanding. Their paneer and spicy chicken sandwich is def something one shouldn’t miss. They recently rebranded their name to Place2Be and that is so perfect because it is the PLACE TO BE!!!“
“great location and great boba at Angelove! the man who works there is efficient and dedicated. they have a large variety of types of drinks from slushes to milkshakes to just plain tea, all at varying but affordable prices! i’ve been there many times and their mango stars are the best on hastings (or even in east van!).Kid-friendliness: the man behind the counter also handles photography for passports and is very kind and patient especially with children and small babies“
“The store has a really charming aesthetic. The drinks are a great size and reasonable price to others in the area. Lots of options for drinks and snacks. The management is caring, and the staff are friendly and quick. Their website ordering is very convenient . Will continue to drink their delicious popping boba!“
“I think the experience has to do with the food u order. I was here another time and it wasn’t as pleasant. Glad I gave it a second chance . I’m going to stick to ordering the same thing when I return. The dishes in the attached photo:Spicy beef noodlesSquid tentacles (ask for a dipping sauce)Taro slush with coconut jellyPassionfruit green teaThe male server gave really good service too. Not sure if it’s because it wasn’t too busy but he was really attentive and didn’t rush us out. We ended up tipping 20% which is considerably high for a casual bubble tea establishment.“
“I recently visited Gong Cha bubble tea on W Pender St and had a wonderful experience. The store had a cozy and inviting atmosphere with cute decor. The staff was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain their menu and make recommendations. I ordered a classic bubble milk tea, and it was delicious! The tea was perfectly brewed, and the boba was cooked just right. The pricing was reasonable for the size and quality of the drink. Overall, I highly recommend and can't wait to go back and try more of their drinks.“
“We went there on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Perhaps due to rain, there were no other customers. Despite us bringing in two kids (one baby and one toddler) the owner was super nice to us. The store was very clean and nice. There was a cute bench with little stuffy bubble tea things that my 5 year old just loved to play with. When my 5 year old had her lead broke and got very upset, she kindly changed the cup with brand new lead and my kid got super happy. Bubble tea itself was really good too. I enjoyed warm brown sugar milk tea, and my kid finished the entire cup of yam bubble tea.(she normally doesn't finish the drink unless it's good) It was a very nice and cozy Sunday afternoon with yummy bubble tea thanks to this place!“
“Perchance is an exceptional dining experience, offering an innovative fusion of flavors and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The attentive service, inviting ambiance, and thoughtfully curated menu make Perchance an ideal destination for those seeking a sophisticated yet approachable dining experience. “Great Bubble Tea! The Deerioca Series is my favorite, I can customize my milk options and the brown sugar pearls are always so satisfying!Dietary restrictions: milk alternatives availableKid-friendliness: caffeine free optionsWheelchair accessibility: no stairs“
“Just like home! This cafe has a good and drinks.I enjoyed the chicken platter and my friend enjoyed the chicken wrap. Also tried the pina colada slush, very good. They gave my friend the extra of the slush too, wonderful gesture.Kim was a sweetheart and love her faith!Thank you for serving us.Highly recommend.Parking: Victoria drive can get busy at times, so neighbourhood parking is available.“
“Really good atmosphere, I highly recommend this place. We came for the happy hour and didn’t order any food. The drinks were good and the price even better. If you want a place to hang out with your friends while having good drinks at an amazing price this is the place for you :)“
“Good place to get Mango flavored drinks! I got the Coconut Milk with Mango and Mochi Balls and was really good! I have the regular ice and 100% sweetness which was perfect. Price was 7.30 including tax. If you want more value for your drink, do not request for to much as, regular or less is better.“
“I recently tried the best bubble tea ever! I ordered the Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea and the signature Milk Foam Black Tea. Both drinks were increadibly tasty, I feel comfortable and peaceful in mind. Service is also a plus, they are friendly and professional. I'll definitely be coming back for more whenever I get the chance.“
“I came here for the hot chocolate festival and got the white chocolate option. They have chosen to allow two options to be available for half of the hot chocolate festival and one option to be available for the other half. Unsure why that is. The white hot chocolate that I got had the most delicious and crunchy little chocolate balls on top and the hot chocolate was so rich and sweet. The waffle on the side is so delicious and I know if I ever come back I’ll have to come back here to try more of the waffles, limited seating! And it seems to be very popular“
“I love this place! The bubble tea is delicious - not sure which one I like best because they all taste great. However, recently I tried both the mango passionfruit bubble tea and the cocoa bubble tea - both were SO good! The staff are excellent - very friendly and knowledgeable.“
“Our visit to Chatime at Broadway was truly delightful! I indulged in the signature milk tea, while my coworkers savored the Mango QQ and Mango Juice with Pearls and Coconut. Every sip was bursting with flavor, and the tapioca pearls added an extra dimension of delight. The friendly service and welcoming ambiance made our experience even more enjoyable. If you're in the mood for delicious and refreshing beverages, Chatime is the place to go! Highly recommended!“
“I first tried black ball when I lived in the SGV/626 area in LA. I was born and raised in the area and lived there after college briefly before moving to the Bay Area. I was extremely sad when the Blackball in my hometown closed down during the pandemic. I much prefer Blackball's grass jelly over Meet Fresh. Both are good but I like the texture of Blackball's much better. I was excited to see there was a location close to my hotel in Vancouver. I decided to pop in. They are located and operate inside of a cheesecake shop. The ordering was kind of confusing but I guess it's better for those who want to customize their grass jelly desserts. They only had a cold option instead of icy, cold, warm, & hot from other Blackball locations I've tried. You can choose either a cup or a bowl. I chose bowl but I did not like the fact that I was required to choose 4 toppings when I was good with 3 toppings. Over all the quality and taste was great but I didn't like not having an Icy grass jelly option & being required to choose 4 toppings.“
“This is a Taiwanese restaurant where you can find bubble tea. The workers have high standard work ethics to ensure customers have a safe and clean environment and fresh delicious foods. I know the staff, that's why I know. If you like Taiwanese food and bubble tea, it's a must try.“
“I love this place so much!!! The service is great, the prices are amazing and the drinks are always delicious! I love getting they’re green teas and fresh fruit slushes. They have a great variety of food, drinks, and other great desserts! And the lady who commonly works there is kind and always gets my order correct! It always brings a smile to my face when I come here, and I will definitely keep coming here! Great place would definitely recommend this amazing family ran business!“
“Ordered the mango sago slush and the pineapple oat milk. The mango slush is so good! Just the right amount of sweetness and it’s very refreshing. The pineapple oat milk tasted very sweet even though I ordered 50% sugar, and I didn’t taste the pineapple much. However, overall I think this is a good place for fruity drinks and their pearls are good.“
“Very tasty boba, and quite a wide range of menu options! Their price is on the higher side of things, but their taste is quite worth it. It is in a corner in the international food court, a bit sketchy, but that's where all of the good food is tbh. I highly recommend their four season milk tea :)Parking: Paid parking nearby“
“That's a great varieties, hits the spot for sure. Best of all is even though it's a small place, it doesn't get over the crowded like other locations can during peak hours in the summertime. The seating is not as comfortable as one would hope, but it makes good sense, considering they're trying to get customers in and out as fast as possible. They have a variety of different options for shaved ice, so if you want something different from your friends you certainly can have a more individual size helping of Shave Ice. Talking about this, makes me want to have some right now... Don't be afraid to try other types of desserts such as almond desserts or other Asian style hot desserts. They have both in-house seating as well as ordering out options. Oh look quite quaint in size, it's fairly cute for what it is. Just don't be alarmed if you see some ants on the tables as this is quite common every time we go there. Just gently pick them up and put them on the windowsill or something and enjoy your food. I mean they like she dies too so you know hahaha aside from that place seems fairly clean as a whole. It is definitely one of my go-to's and has been for a while so if you can make it to this particular location, feel free to check out the other locations as well. The gear more towards Hong Kong style desserts then Taiwanese desserts in these locations aside from the shaved ice, so give all the other stuff a try I don't think you'll be disappointed. At least I surely wasn't when I tried the other stuff! A good tip, get it with ice cream if you want shaved ice. You can never go wrong with ice cream. Oh, I would also definitely try the honey toast, it is absolutely amazing. The only advice I'd give you is that you might need at least two or three people to help you eat it, since it is quite huge and quite feeling, considering it's almost like a brick of Chinese bread, or maybe a little less but not by much. All in all super delicious you won't regret it if you like honey.“
“An unseeming place on a street spanning 3-4 other boba competitors Boba Monster stands out! It's a bit small and hard to look out for if you are driving, Boba Monster can be easily missed. Store is definitely family owned and operated and it is small and somewhat messy. I think they had ideas for creating IG vibes for photo oppt. but gave up after awhile. My oolong MT with brown sugar Boba looked really sweet, but when I drank it it was a perfect balance! I don't think there is any customization, but it was great as is!The boba was not overly sweet nor too soft..perfect QQ texture. The drink itself could probably use a bit more tea flavour, but overall it was fantastic! From the service to the actual drink Boba Monster is pretty solid!“
“Been here several times now, but finally decided write a review after another great visit. Young woman running the shop today was super nice and made an excellent osmanthus rice milk tea. Diverse menu with options not available at most bbt shops. Excellent execution everytime and relatively “cheap”: easily one of my faves bbts in Vancouver. Only knock against it is that they’re sometimes take a bit longer to make the drinks“
“Absolutely LOVE the pandan and ube waffles. Can’t believe they are gluten free! It is so hard to find delicious treats that are gluten free and these taste like the real deal. Hot and fresh and unlike any other waffles I have tried. Their che and boba are also delicious and they offer authentic options as well as dairy free versions too. Very impressed! Have been back a few times now.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free options available.“
“First time at this gem ! I ordered their chilled latte and had their GF lemon cookies today. I also had the chance to try their waffles and chocolate, orange muffin. Everything here you can tell is made out of quality substances and love. The cookie had a very unique cake-like texture. The interior has a very warm, rustic vibe. The staff are superb. Warm and friendly. This is a solid place that more people needs to know about!“
“I got the B2 meal which was stir fried noodles w/ lemongrass chicken and steamed crepes. I thought the meal tasted pretty good (well seasoned chicken and noodles, tasty crepes) and the location was convenient in this food court. I found out that the "steamed crepe" is called a banh cuon (steamed rice roll) after looking it up, and I have to say it was the best part of the meal. I'll want to visit this place again whenever I come back to Vancouver.“
“Yi Fang always has great drinks and I love their seasonal menu. It's pricey, so I only come when there is a deal on one of the food delivery app. Service is just OK. They are selling tea egg and Dinesty's frozen dumplings now. I'll have to come back to check them out.“
“This is my favourite spot for banh mi, primarily because they use a spicy sauce instead of jalapeños to add flavour to their sandwiches. I don't like green peppers but love spicy food, so these guys are perfect. They have good portions at reasonable prices, and they've recently expanded their menu to include more types of dishes. The only thing that could be improved is if they had slightly more comfy seating, but it's a small joint so it's better not to spend too much time sitting down anyway.“
“Would highly recommend! They responded quickly to my cake inquiry and provided various options, service was great all the way through, and I was absolutely blown away with the beautiful cake they delivered! The inside of the cake was fresh and soft (unlike some others that have been premade for a few days in order to get decorated).Overall, I was extremely happy with it and would definitely order again!“
“PROS:Have really on tried the spicy beef noodle soup, bbq pork fried rice, duck fried rice, and spicy won tons. They all have been tasty or satisfactory. No complaints in the taste department from me.CONS:I used to eat here twice a week at least when they had the 10% off when ordering online, but since the removal, I have eaten there a few times since last year. The price is similar to restaurant food, so a bit expensive considering it is food court food. Maybe this is due to the addition of the "free" drink. Maybe it is now due to the cost of food. The "free" drink included with some of the items should be removed. One reason is because of the cup fee in Vancouver. The other is that I don't care much for the drinks. Choice would be nice and hopefully will reduce the price of the meal and reduce unnecessary waste.“
“We were starving after being delayed by 2 hours due to air travel issues and had to google the nearest food spot that we could get to. And spontaneously made this amazing decision of trying out this hole in the wall again. What a fluke of luck! We walked in to see two ladies helping out and managing the bustling little spot and had to wait for about 10 mins to get a table. We patiently waited for the food and boy.. was the wait worth it! AMAZING AND FLAVOURFUL FOOD that was obviously made with the FRESHEST of ingredients for an unbeatable price too. It was honestly too good to be true but it was true! Hope that anyone and everyone who decides to give this place a shot experiences similarity to what we did.“
“First time in this place and will definitely come back. I love bubble tea and i can’t believe I didn’t try this place before! i always struggle to find good dairy free milk tea options, let alone one with cream! Loved to see they also have To Live For and Bonus Bakery baked goods. My non-vegan boyfriend usually doesn’t love the flavour of plant-based milk but loved his drink too.Nuttea offers fresh tapioca pearls and real fruit in the smoothies, smooth slightly savory plant-based cream, amazing overall flavour and excellent service. 5/5 for me ?Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options (drinks and bakery)Dietary restrictions: Dairy-free options (drinks and bakery)“
