“On this cold atmospheric rainy day, I'm glad I scored a parking spot right outside otherwise I might given up on trying this place. I'm glad the parking gods were with me today. It gave me the chance to try their Thai beef boat noodle soup. Omg it was perfect. The broth was a flavorful deep sweet soy sauce based broth with earthy spice undertones. The thinly sliced beef was tender. The noodles were al dente with a nice chew. Perfection in a bite. They had cute condiments but I didn't need to use anything. It was super tasty as it is. Anytime I'm in Alameda I'll definitely stop by for some great Thai food. A cute sweet Thai family runs this place.“
“wild ginger just is a solid spot to eat at. the length and texture of the hand pulled noodles are so satisfying to eat, and the place is pretty small so you can hear the loud smacking sounds of the chef making the noodles in the kitchen! so cool!!!my friends and I actually got a cold noodle dish on the house when we visited for dinner :) they are just so kind like that!the spicy dishes are actually not really that spicy which doesn't hit the spot for me exactly but still super enjoyable. i remember when they first opened like 6+ years ago, it was pretty spicy for me so either my spice tolerance has really gone up (it definitely has over the years), they toned down the spice for the customers, or both. either way, each time I come I leave full and satisfied!“
“My friends and I were there last night for the first time and the food was DELICIOUS!! Interior is nice clean and neat. Service was on point we came home with a lot of leftover. They also have Fresh coconut juice which very fresh. Samosa was delicious.Spicy Catfish is a MUST to try.Mama Keemow was delicious Fresh Spring rolls was beautifully wrapped with sauces on the side. Lastly the dessert!! Mango Sticky rice and ice cream with Roti. We had a food coma afterward. I will be back to try some other dishes.“
“Great spot on Park Street. The hand pulled noodles are fantastic as well as the sweet and spicy chicken wings. Other highlights include the beef noodle soup which is great on a cold night and the xiao long bao. There are so many Chinese restaurants in Alameda but, the noodles and wings make Ark standout amongst the rest.“
“I’ve ordered here from Door Dash twice and decided to take my partner out on a date here. We’ve had their Chicken Pho, Bahn Mi sandwiches, and Lemon Grass Chicken. Each dish was phenomenal. We will be coming here again to eat very often!“
“Just had the most incredible evening stroll through the neighborhood and stumbled upon a hidden gem! This place serves up Oxtail Phó like you've never tasted before. Imagine a 30-hour bone marrow broth infused with star anise, cinnamon, and other spices, topped with charred onions and ginger. Served with delicate rice noodles and garnished with fresh onion and cilantro – pure perfection! But before diving into the main course, I couldn't resist starting off with an appetizer of Bone Marrow on toast. Let me tell you, it was absolutely delish! The rich, buttery marrow paired perfectly with the crispy toast – a match made in culinary heaven. To wash it all down, I indulged in an A-Town Pale Ale Draft from the Island's very own Faction Brewery. The crisp, refreshing ale was the perfect complement to the savory flavors of the phó and bone marrow.Overall, it was an evening filled with delightful surprises and delicious flavors. I can't wait to go back and explore more of what this neighborhood has to offer!“
“The food at YoSushi is delicious! Mama bear had Agadashi tofu, I had gyoza, and for our entrees we had a sashimi bento box and a bowl of spicy ramen. We ate like royalty, met the kindest, sweetest server, and walked back to our car completely full for only $55. Amazing spot, great vibes. Huge value. We're definitely coming back soon!Vegetarian options: Very healthy options!Parking: Really easy with kids.Kid-friendliness: Our son really enjoyed the atmosphere“
“Without a doubt my new favorite Chinese restaurant in the Bay, and I’ve thoroughly explored Oakland & SF Chinatown! We got the #8 (Taiwan beef brisket noodles) at the highest spice level (it’s really not spicy at all) with their hand pulled noodles and oh. My. Goodness. AMAZING!!! The vinegar in the broth was PERFECT, I didn’t need to add my own seasonings whatsoever. We also got the fried pork and chili won tons which were also delicious! I’ll definitely make the drive down here as often as possible!! Super happy to support this new small, local business. Also shout out to the service, because it was some of the best I’ve gotten in a long time. So kind!“
