“Writing this review before an important luncheon tomorrow with multiple clients. I placed my order online and received a call almost immediately making sure that everything was okay. Milton (sorry if I spelled it wrong) the General Manager called me to confirm my order and make sure it was the way we needed it. That attention to detail made me write this review. His professionalism gave me the assurance that we will definitely use them in the future. In summary, if you have an event that you need a large order for, rest assured that they will take care of you and make sure you have everything you need. Excellent customer service experience even before receiving the delivery.“

“The Real Deal. From the hot and sour soup to the orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, garlic green beans, eggplant, lo mein, it’s got it all-we’ve been twice after a Kings game and have not been disappointed- we over order just to get the variety of flavors in our mouths. The food is fantastic, the staff is genuine and gets the importance of hospitality.“

“The place has been very popular since opening. We were so excited when we saw it wasn’t too busy Saturday afternoon. The quality of the hot pot is amazing. The presentation is appealing. The service is superb. The price could add up quickly, worth it though!“

“Classic pho place that my parents brought us to when we were kids. I realized that my parents, especially my dad, was a true foodie of his time, before all the technology and online reviews were even available. He brought us to try so many different cuisines, and we have come to appreciate Vietnamese food since we were kids.“

“A bit pricey, but it's an excellent Pho restaurant. Food are really delicious ? Parking might be difficult. Tiny plaza with narrow parking spaces. But people come and go quickly... I took out 1 ⭐ for their parkings. Really hate their parking.“

“If you haven’t been here before the setup might be confusing. You should head all the way to the back, go to the cashier, tell him the number of people, get a table number from him, and then get a bowl and start putting stuff you want in the bowl. The bowl is weighed and charged by the pound, but you don’t pay until you’re done eating. Then you hand the bowls to the cashier to order what type of soup you want. They hand you order numbers and you go to your table and just wait for them to bring you food. You can also make sauces at the sauce station. When you’re finished, bring your bowls back to the front and pay. Also note that you get one tong for picking up all the foods, so if cross contamination is a concern or you have food allergies, this might not be the best place to go.The lady in the front was not helpful and just shouted Chinese at us and acted like we were in her way for not knowing the rules. Some of the customers tried to help us too, but they should really just post the rules outside the store or in front of the front door to help newcomers. I think if you look East Asian, they will assume you speak Mandarin, so you should mention that you don’t speak it to clear the air. The rest of service was fine and nice, just the initial confusion didn’t feel very good.“
“I feel almost like I shouldn't be even writing this review bc THIS IS HOW COOL THIS PLACE IS! So don't come here to work and chill! Don't come to chat with these cool kids Sam and Lydia!! And never come here to enjoy the tea and space. Also, don't bring your friends bc THIS PLACE IS DOPE. Period!“

“This place really lives up to the hype. It's casual and delicious. The pork xiao long baos are like little dumplings from heaven. Small but packed with flavor. The normal pork buns are also pretty tasty not as good as the long baos. The beef noodle soup has a ton of flavor and I recommend it. For dessert it seems gimmicky but the chocolate bao w/ the whip is... Amazing. Perfect way to top off a meal.“

“I would highly recommend this place for dim sum. However, I must mention that the deep-fried pandan bun (斑斓生煎包) falls below the standard. Nevertheless, every other dish is definitely worth trying. It's a popular spot, the shop is not big so expect to queue before getting a table. The service is average.Parking: You can just find a spot to park in front of the shop. It’s easy to find a parking lot.“

“I was so hungry one night and I had no food at home. I live in El Monte so there's really not many options to choose from . I checked yelp "restaurants open near me " and boom this place popped up! I was shocked huh when did Elmonte have a dumpling restaurant?!? There weren't that many reviews at the time because they just opened but all that I saw were positive 5 stars. So I gave them a try and O man their food is great! It's kinda scary how frequent I go there but their dumplings and fried rice are soo delicious. It's a nice family run business so their service and quality of food is always consistent. I love this place !“

“Decided to give it a try today since it was on my route home. Ordered the farmer style pork and green pepper. It's not the usual fatty pork you'd get from other chinese food places, but it's delicious either way. Less fatty, but still full of flavor. Portion is what you paid for. Spicy level is true to what spicy is all about. Will come again to try their mapo tofu and kungfu boiled beef since from this simple dish alone it does look promising.“

“This is THE place to get popcorn chicken in the 626! I've been coming to P P Pop for awhile now and I have yet to have anything I didn't like. The popcorn chicken serving here is huge, and the chicken is really moist and flavorful. I get mild spice and it's pretty spicy imo! The beef noodle soup is also a favorite of mine. I love the chewiness of the noodles and the beef chunks always fall apart. The drinks are served in huuuge cups so that's also very worth the price. Service is always great and they're very comfortable speaking English.“

“Read about this place in the paper. Bae and I are always saying things like "we should explore the culinary delights of the sgv" but are often intimidated because we don't speak Chinese and have little familiarity with the cuisine beyond the white people Chinese restaurants of our respective coasts (she east, me west). We ordered from the internet even though we were there because we had our dog with us. The noodles were extremely, extremely good, the other ingredients (beef, chicken, veggies) were pretty standard. If i was to return I just get noodles straight up, I feel like the other stuff just distracts from the main event. Bae couldn't eat hers because she comes from a place (new england) where people say stuff is too spicy because there is PEPPER in the dish. Like, the pepper you have at your house. I cooked a dish with pepper once and her mom wouldn't eat it for that reason. Also the service was good, they actually called us because they were out of something we ordered and wanted to make sure they gave us a refund or something else.Unless you are a monster two people can split one dish here, any dish. If you order more than one dish per two people left overs are a given. Also, we drove around for an hour before we got home and the food was still warm.Vegetarian options: Noodles! Tofu!Dietary restrictions: Gluten!Parking: Free lot in the shopping plaza but lots of venerable people entering and exiting so be careful. Free street parking out front.Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“

“Good Chinese food USED to be easy to find not so any more. This was the best Chinese food I have had in years, literally! “One of my favorite Chinese restaurants for really great food. I believe this place is Michelin rated. I'm not surprised. My favorite is the crispy shrimp/prawns. They must use super hot oil to get the shrimp shells to be so light and crispy. You can eat the whole shrimp, shell, tail and all!Today, the 2 of us had the beef brisket with quail eggs and the zhajianmein, a noodle dish using black bean sauce. Both very good. Very flavorful.Good service. They have set a high bar. Many new restaurants are trying to outclass and outdo Bistro Na. I was surprised to get seating for 2 on a busy afternoon after church. Maybe the others are out trying the new contenders?“

“I enjoyed all the food I ordered. Scallion pancakes, pork bun, braised beef soup with thin and thick noodles, and the best fried rice ever. I would definitely order from here again. Too bad I didn't take any pictures of my food as I gobbled it all up. One thing to note is that, and I believe, there are 4 types of noodle options, thick, thin, flat, and wide!Parking: Shares a small lot with the rest of the plaza“

“It must be ages to me to remember when was the last time I was here. This time, I was here after the LA Chinatown firecracker run. And boy, the food quality amazed me, and the service was top-notch. We are a group of 11, and we ordered lots of food. The dish that stood out was the salt fish tofu hot pot. It was so good that our group ordered two. The taste was good and the smell of saltfish made you wonder where was this dish my whole life. I will go back to try other dishes.“

“Looking for authentic Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine? There’s a hidden gem in San Gabriel that’s worth trying. They have some really spicy dishes but if you’re like me and can’t handle too spicy, they have some wonderful non-spicy options. Check out their lunch specials!Andrea, Jessica and the rest of the staff are wonderful with customers! They are so welcoming and attentive, treating everyone like friends and making the customers feel at home. They have separate rooms available and are perfect for parties as well. I love the outdoor patio area! Now, let’s talk about the food…Everything was absolutely delicious!! Big portion sizes as well. It was enough to feed me and my 2 boys and still have some food to take home. The Smoked Duck was tender and succulent! The Lamb Chops were fall off the bone tender and so flavorful! Love the crispy texture of the Stir-Fried Noodles with Beef. You can get them soft or crispy. The Diced Beef Tenderloin was our favorite!! So juicy and perfectly cooked! Great balance of flavors! There’s a small parking lot so you may need to park on the street. At first I wasn’t sure if I was at the right place, but it was lol So, if you just follow the directions, you’ll find it.We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!“

“I loved the place, very cute hall vibe but unless you know what the whole set up is. You really come in blind I tried so hard to communicate but was unsuccessful. And it showed on the check paid for it but it was really good just wish things were described or explained better I wish I knew the language but I don't but there was a really friendly staff that spoke Spanish. “We celebrated the new year luncheon here. You need to make a reservation first cause they have lots of customers. Their flavors of dishes here are all awesome. It's an authentic Cantonese cuisine. The special bun is astonishing. It has shrimp, chicken and vegetables in it and filled with the soup. Tasted great. The seafoods here are very fresh. We ordered the gold lobster, fried squid and cashew nut shrimps. All of these tasted great. The services here are friendly and warm. They will help you to counter help. And the atmosphere here was nice. Though is not a big restaurant. But full with feeling of hometown. Recommended. It is an independent store that has been operating for more than 40 years. It tastes really good and it is authentic Cantonese cuisine. Every time All the dishes are exquisite and attentive. I like the pomegranate buns they ordered. They have shrimp, vegetables, chicken and full of soup. The skin of the duck with taro paste is crispy and very tasty. The skin of the glutinous rice chicken roll is also very chewy. I have eaten here before. The most authentic taste, the golden lobster is quite big and can only feed 11 people. It is delicious with salted egg yolk and the meat is plump. The fried squid is very crispy and the meat is very tender. Even the stir-fried soybean sprouts are very delicious after inhaling the chicken broth. eatThe overall taste is really first-class, the price is moderate, and the service is very attentive and will always help change the plates. Business is very good. It is recommended to make an appointment in advance. The overall experience is great. Highly recommended.“

“My favorite restaurant in Arcadia. I highly recommend the liang pi (cold noodles), ziajiang (dry noodles), and Guilin soup (noodle soup). Plus their Guilin soup is my go-to hangover soup dish. It basically saved my life.edit: Forgot to mention, their portions are huge. It's well worth the price. You can easily eat any entree for 2 meals. For me, it takes closer to 3 meals.“

“We ordered the (1) signature beef noodle soup, (2) qinghai clear cold noodle, and (3) cucumber salad. My favorite was surprisingly the qinhai clear cold noodle. (1) Signature beef noodle soup ($14.50) There were four options for what type of noodles we wanted in this soup. We chose the chewiest type which is called "knife cut." The overall flavor of the soup was good, but the chili oil was doing a lot of work. Also the knife cut noodle was great in texture, but I actually didn't love them. I much preferred the cold noodles that we ate instead which I found out is not an option you can choose. I actually probably wouldn't order this item again I would try something different. (2) Qinghai clear cold noodle ($10.80) I really enjoyed the flavor and the type of noodle selected. It was what brought me the most joy from the three food items we ordered. Definitely order this one! (3) Cucumber salad ($7.50) This was a refreshing appetizer. It was interesting how they combined the cilantro and cucumber together. I really liked the sauce it was covered in. Overall, I return to try the other plates and noodle options they offer! Also, it's wonderful that it's located on Colorado street where other businesses are right next door.“

“2023.09.16 \First visit/Originally, I wasn’t very interested in eating noodles in LA, but Flavor Noodles changed my mind. This time I ordered fatty beef noodles in sour soup, Sichuan style fat intestine noodles, and red oil noodles. I can’t choose which one is more delicious, I like them both! Looking forward to ordering something else on my next visit that I didn't have the stomach for this time.2024.01.09\Second interview/I finally had the opportunity to visit for a second time, but today I was a bit disappointed. I ordered beef noodles with raw pepper, Sichuan-style fat intestine noodles, and red oil noodles. The Chao Shou was more delicious than the last time I had it, but the taste of both bowls of noodles was a bit bland. Last time the sausage was very full, but today it looks thin. The beef noodles with raw pepper are quite spicy. Will be willing to visit again to see if today was just an anomaly, but will order back the beef noodles in sour soup next time.Recommended: Fatty Beef Noodles in Sour Soup“

“Highly recommend the Chiu Chow Fish Ball Noodles here. The fish balls here are fresh and bouncy with the right amount of peppery. There’s seating outside of the restaurant in the plaza area, making for a nice people-watching lunch. Also, you can’t beat the price at ~$11 per bowl of noodles! Even with the saturated availability of Chinese/Teochow food in the SGV, I would still make the trek out to Chinatown for Kim Chuy’s fish ball noodles!“

“The food was delicious!! My friend and I ordered 6 different plates because we couldn't narrow it down to a few. My favorites were the wonton soup and the lemon pork. The chicken fried rice was also good, uniquely salted, which we both enjoyed. The only downside was the service. We got food but no water or drinks that we ordered until we couldn't find our server for 30 minutes, and the gal bussing the tables helped us. It happens. We will be back because we have more to try. “A no-frills "fast food" spot. They have a very diverse menu consisting of American, Mexican, and Chinese food. I have yet to try any other item besides the burgers and fried zucchini, which I'm a fan of. The service is quick and your food is cooked to order. The burgers are a great size and delicious! Also, do yourself a favor and get the fried zucchini. The batter is nice and crispy, and the zucchini is sliced thick.“
