“First time here. The service is amazing. Not overpriced at all. They were very busy, but made time to ask every table at least three times if they needed anything. I had pozole, wife had steak ranchero. Both were best in town!! I’m not kidding.

The Michelada came with carrots, celery, and lemon. Very good. A must try.“

“I'm like a food critic, and I'm from Alaska, and I came to this place from a gentleman named Vito Martinez who recommended this place to try out and introduce me to the owner. I have massive high-quality taste buds for tacos ? and more on the menu to try out. They chilaquiles Rancheros are by far the best I've tried in Bakersfield so far since I've been here for about a month, and they customer service is well mannered and helpful with a warm smile greeting, I'm a BIG fan of guacamole, and it tasted just like homemade of the way it should taste. The tacos has an amazing crunch and unique light flavor stuffed taco that I really enjoyed, and the Enchiladas de Mole was on point and the Shrimp Cocktail was a mouth watering flavore with unique texture and very big chonky mix all in one Big Cup, overall very fulfilling due to the massive portions?, so overall what I tried so far was perfect massive portions for just tacos for the right price to have a happy belly of enjoyment. If you wanna enjoy they food and stay cool from the heat, then come inside and park or walk here and enjoy the amazing atmosphere they have and the clean environment while dining in. They salsa and condiments are really homemade flavored salsas with a perfect thickness, so it doesn't run down my hand while or make a mess while enjoying my food. I highly recommend them for when you're hungry or family dine in or if you're in a hurry. One recommendation I would request is big flyer singns or lights of a guid to the restaurant when people drive by on the main roads for a more viewable seen and attraction. Wonderful experience here and they have karaoke on Taco Tuesdays and Fridays, and I'll be for sure coming back for more and other food to try on the menu. “Where do I even start? The pupusas here are absolutely out of this world. They are like non other I’ve ever had. I cleaned my plate up. The waitress is extremely kind and talks with you making sure you feel at home. Everything about this place is amazing. There is a salsa bar that is excellent. I highly recommend the salsa to the far right and the onions with habanero peppers. Both are superb.

The Burrito was well cooked and it had multiple layers of food and flavors.

I recommend Sebastian's Taqueria.

“Mauricio the cook deserves a damn raise and a party. I accidentally left my purse yesterday because my child was upset and I carried her out while my husband paid. I called this morning and the waitress said it wasn't there and sounded Shakey like she was scared so I felt suspicious. I came in anyway and the waitress was nowhere to be seen but Mauricio immediately said it was there and handed it over. I cried a little and tipped him for his honesty. Real gentleman are rare these days, he's a real gentleman. His honesty is refreshing and he really saved my ass today.“

“Super delicious chicken at the right price. The location is right by the train tracks and you can see them cooking the chicken and ribs over the fire. They have tables and benches if you want to sit down and eat. We've gone with our 2 kids and its safe. The owner has always checked on us to make sure everything is ok. “My first visit. I spent $26.00 and ordered #2 - two tacos, rice and beans, and the #18 - enchilada & chile relleno with rice and beans.

The service was classy and top notch. I walked in looking homeless and haggard and was given the same quality of service as soccer grandpa in the new SUV.

I got home after walking 4 blocks, the food was still so hot it was like I'd eaten there. The flavor is superb.
The beans and rice are fantastic and do a great job at feeding the soul.

“I have been coming to this restaurant for decades but it had been a few years since my last visit, so I stopped by for lunch today. Everything was fantastic and just the way I remembered it! Service was truly exceptional- and it was busy. Chips and salsa refill appeared before I had finished the first basket (without me even asking!) and a passing server even picked up the straw wrapper off the table right after I opened it. When I ordered a glass of ice water, my server asked if I would like a lemon or lime with it. This kind of attention to detail is honestly missing from 95% of casual restaurants so if I could give six stars for service I would. The food was delicious and piping hot - if you like casual 20th century California style suburban Mexican food, this is the place for you. It’s different from what you can find in Mexico (melted cheese generously added to most dishes, for example) but quite beloved by those of us who grew up in Bakersfield. Today I enjoyed a chile verde burrito on a plate loaded with rice and refried beans. In the past I have also liked their hard shell tacos!“
