“The little plates are yummy. I love the pita bread that came with the hummus (Salatim plate). The other plates were good also. I loved the bread pudding (I think it's better than the best cake). What I like the most about Bacari, besides the beautiful ambiance, is the friendliest staff.“

“Yummy tacos! We had the lomo saltado, carnitas and fish tacos and all were Good! We also had the potato and cheese taquitos and the cara cara Olive oil cake. The Olive oil cake was warm and moist on the inside and was crunchy and crisp on the outside. Went well with the orange sherbet that came with it!“

“Hands down the best breakfast biscuits I've had. I stop here every single time I'm in l.a. I finally tried something new and ordered the ADB Loco Motto, and it didn't disappoint. The drinks were strong and good. Get there early because it's a neighborhood favorite and fills up fast. The space is cozy, and parking is very limited.Parking: I only saw metered street parking, and there weren't a lot of spots available. You may have to park down the street and walk down to the restaurant.“

“Went to Tom's on Friday 4/26/24 and had the pleasure of having Justin as our waiter. This was our first time here, and the service from Justin was excellent. He had a great attitude, very friendly, nice smile, and very attentive. He came about every 10 minutes to make sure everything was ok. He also helped with suggestions on food items, which the food was delicious. Would definitely go back if we can continue to have Justin as our waiter.“

“Exquisite ambience, innovative food and nice service! Went there for the dinner on Valentine’s and it was worth every penny. The dishes are really innovative and still have that touch of Indian food. Apt and balanced spices. Loved the way they have put in so much efforts in improvising the dishes.I ordered butter chicken pot pie, garlic naan, dum biryani, death by chocolate.Dessert was a 3/5 though, it wasn’t really that tasty.“

“Hidden away in the city of Los Angeles is this amazing bar that serves one of the tastiest omakase. Entering the bar, you see a bar top that seats approx 10-12 people, with a open kitchen vibe. My partner and I had a great time. The Sunday crew was very nice and attentive, engaging with the customers and making things fun! The selection of fish was amazing, definitely a different experience compared to other omakase establishments I've been to.Parking was very easy since they provided easy simple instructions on their website :). Will definitely visit again on a Sunday ??Parking: Easy to access garage and the elevator close by. Very nice :)“

“Incredible facility & excellent service. I visited just to look around & spectate, then ended up having a delicious burger for lunch at the Restaurant 917. Our host Jesus even seated us at the window without a reservation. I'll definitely be back here, what a wonderful experience.“

“The best food and the best service! This is our third time coming here and nothing ever misses. The lunch is always a great vibe! This last time was with a big party of 8 and it was all handled seamlessly and everyone loved their meals, so thought it was time to give them a shoutout! Of the 3 times we've had the same server (Adrian) and they are truly such a special server happy to be there and be helpful! We couldn't remember if we like the shiro or shouyo more and they were helping us trying to figure it out, was super sweet and funny!! Thank you again!!!“

“The church-turned-restaurant has a clear sky above, creating a lazy and comfortable environment. The service staff kindly introduced the menu of the day. California cuisine is a fusion of Asian and Western food characteristics. The complimentary bread is very similar to Asian double cheese bread, and the cheese taste is very fragrant. Strawberries & burrata cheese is like a variation of the classic Italian mozzarella cheese and tomato salad. It is quite beautiful and delicious. The Day Boat Scallops have a crispy topping and a tender center. It has a rich texture and is paired with spiced pumpkin puree, caramelized carrots and vegetables. , gooseberry, with diverse and harmonious flavors. Next time I’m in Los Angeles, I want to try other interesting meals!“

“A very pretty friend and I decided to try Bestia on a Thursday at 5pm. After arriving and entering an outdoor patio that leads into the indoor seating, we couldn't help notice the bright blue wall, nicely trimmed tree, outdoor string lights all coming together to make a quiet eating experience but my pretty woman friend wanted us to experience the inside. Inside was livelier, more people, closely positioned tables, and an open kitchen facing the eating area. Cool modern music that's not too loud. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the coconut red chili oil scallops garnished with herbs and a slice of strawberry. I was pleased with the combination of flavors. Then we shared the bone marrow pasta, which was packed with savory flavors and interesting soft textures. It was delicious. Of course, we had to try the herb ceasar salad everyone raves about when talking about Bestia, and the hype is all true. We then shared a marguarita pizza and let me say this, despite the overly salted tomato sauce, the napolitano style crust elevated the rest of the pizza ingredients. I had old sunglasses: a tequila blanco cocktail with sweet citrus flavors all well balanced, I couldn't just have 1. My pretty friend had unsweetened ice tea, which was refreshing with a subtle fruit flavor. For dessert, we shared the chocolate dessert with a crispy sweet and salty crust that complimented the rich thick chocolate mouse that was just the right amount of sweet. It's the kind of place you take an attractive friend you really, really like. Recommend you plan at least a couple of weeks ahead to get a table because this place has a big following.“

“Nossa Caipirinha Bar offers an authentic Brazilian experience right in the heart of Los Feliz. My partner and I recently indulged in a late-night adventure at this vibrant establishment, and we were thoroughly impressed. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by the lively beats of Brazilian music, instantly transporting us to the streets of Rio. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with warm décor adding to the immersive experience. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the cocktails. Each drink was meticulously crafted with quality ingredients, perfectly capturing the essence of Brazilian flavors. Whether it was the classic caipirinha or one of their signature creations, every sip was a delight for the senses. As the night progressed, the bartender recommended we try Brazilian fernet, and we're glad we did. It was a bold and flavorful choice that left a lasting impression, showcasing the bar's dedication to offering unique and authentic experiences.Overall, Nossa Caipirinha Bar exceeded our expectations, delivering not only exceptional drinks but also a memorable cultural journey. Whether you're a connoisseur of Brazilian cuisine or simply looking for a lively atmosphere to unwind, Nossa Caipirinha Bar is a must-visit destination. Obrigado for an unforgettable evening!“

“I made a Resy reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Street parking was accessible and convenient a few steps away from the location. Once we walked in, I was greeted by first name by the host behind the bar who directed us to follow Lisa, our server, to our table for two in the garden patio. Once seated, she asked if we'd like to turn on the heated lamp, which we appreciated. We ordered the Hunan BBQ Pork Ribs (so meaty and smoky), Chilled Sesame Peanut Noodles (which my wife commented would be an ideal dish during a warm summer night), Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi (served on a toasted, pillowy brioche bun), paired with a side of the Shoestring Fries. Lastly we enjoyed an unexpected gift from the kitchen - Shanghai Triple Onion Noodles, which was a warm dish in contrast to the other cold noodles. As a thoughtful gesture, the bartender, offered us two glasses of champagne to acknowledge our occasion. To cap off our unforgettable meal, we ordered the Hochija Tres Leches and Honeymoon Bread Pudding. The perfect conclusion to a delicious and well-thought out dinner. For a location with a history dating back to the prohibition era (informed by Lisa), I'm glad to see it's continuing it's life as a bar with an innovative kitchen. As I mentioned last night, the dinner was great but the service was even better! Thank you for making our anniversary dinner memorable :)“

“Cool little bar to watch a game & grab a drink. We also ordered some chicken nachos & they hit the spot. The parking was a little tricky, but we found parking on the street (not sure if there was additional parking in the back somewhere). I enjoyed looking at their wall art - very LA. The service was good too!“

“The welcoming was excellent by the manager and the flexibility to change from outdoor to indoor seating. The food was great. The steak was perfectly cooked and the octopus was tender and savory. The green beans were the exception to the excellence. They were too spicy and it tasted oddly. Manager made it right for us. Thank you!“

“Super cool bar I would have never found on my own. Met some friends here the other weekend. Good cocktails, and they serve food too. Was here on a Saturday night at ~10pm. “Really cute rooftop bar and resto in the middle of the Arts District. Feels like a pool rooftop situation in WeHo without all the pretense and sky high prices. Happy Hour everyday is super clutch. Chips and salsa were plenty tasty. The cocktails on HH are mad with Jose Cuervo which was kinda off putting but for $10 a pop you really can’t complain!“
“I feel almost like I shouldn't be even writing this review bc THIS IS HOW COOL THIS PLACE IS! So don't come here to work and chill! Don't come to chat with these cool kids Sam and Lydia!! And never come here to enjoy the tea and space. Also, don't bring your friends bc THIS PLACE IS DOPE. Period!“

“Had a really beautiful evening, great food, great ambiance, shared with close friends. Only misstep was that when I made the reservation I noted that it was a birthday celebration for one of the guests. A small gesture like a candle on a dessert would have been nice. Nothing. “I really enjoyed dining at Edendale. The beer selection was above-average, the food top-notch, and the service was outstanding. Our server, I believe her name was Missy, was efficient, friendly, and, dare I say, playfully flirtatious. Her charm made this meal memorable in just about every way. I'll be sure to visit Edendale when I'm in this part of town again.“

“Loved the underground vibes. It was so dark and exciting just getting to your seat. Music was cool but not too loud, which was great for connecting to your date via witty banter and conversation. “We stopped by The Mermaid after dinner for a couple of drinks and had a pretty good time! It was super crowded but we were lucky to find a table to sit at. The place was pretty loud but the playlist was great and the atmosphere and crowd was friendly and a lot of fun. With a cute underwater/sea theme, their menu looks like it typically has a lot of rum based drinks but we had to get the special holiday drinks!Out of the specialty drinks we ordered the Sinterclaws, Seven Siren Swimming, Nauti or Nice, Carols of the Coral, A Merry Little "Coquito", and a Dementa Xmas "Shot." Almost all of the drinks were served in festive glassware like a snowman mug, so cute! My favorite drinks had to be Seven Sirens Swimming with the brown butter fat washed Chihuatan Indigo rum, and the "coquito" like a tiny coconutty eggnog.“

“Well, we finally made a decision to come and try this place out. We felt welcomed, the atmosphere was very inviting. At first I was hesitant thinking they were going to have loud music, but it was not loud at all. The food was so good!. I had Camarones mojo de ajo, prepared with their jamming red sauce ?My husband had the Pescado sarrandiado... if I pronounced right. It was big and tasty as well. Both of our plates came w white rice and green leafy salad/Cucumbers.As for the drinks, we had an alcohol beverage it was to point!By the way..their chips and salsas are so good and different compared to others place we've been too.We gotta give a great shout out to Gabby a great and attentive service to the customers. We'll be back again but with family & friends.Gracias Gabby por su 100% servicio ???“

“We had a great time at Escondite, the patio is great, heated & enclosed enough to keep much of the weather from you. The interior reminds me of a few Seattle bars I've been to. Narrow, booths, antler chandeliers. It seems decidedly Northwest. While I enjoyed the gig, the place isn't really set up for a rock/punk show. It seems to me designed for a low key band where patrons would enjoy the music from their seats. Well drinks are about $10 & this place seems to love Malort!“

“Great ambiance and amazing food. I had a lot of food… falafel, spicy hummus, kafta kabob, tzatziki loaded with veggies, cheese balls, and baklava. All so delicious and fresh. I even loved the fresh pita and dipping sauce that was complimentary. From the manager and many servers, everyone was pleasant and friendly throughout my time there. I went during happy hour so the specials were great during that time. I’m definitely returning to this Mediterranean restaurant for sure. I loved it.“

“Last night turned into a spontaneous bar-hopping adventure - blame it on the whimsical spirit of my friend Olivia and Yelp! I stumbled upon Bar Henry, and my first impression was like finding a unicorn in the wild - local, yet with an upscale flair. The bartenders were awesome, and their cocktail menu? As delightful as a puppy wearing a bowtie. The drinks? Oh, they were so good that I questioned if they accidentally swapped the alcohol for magic potion - dangerously tasty! At 10 pm, the DJ magically appeared, complete with a disco ball. I'm pretty sure they summoned Saturday night vibes from another dimension.Let's dive into why this place missed out on its 5-star crown . They need tables that scream 'upscale,' walls that weave stories with different textures, and more warm lighting. The menu should be so seasonal it has trust issues, and the mixology game needs to be a full-on in-house wizardry show. Also, if they're not squeezing everything in-house, are they even living? Oh, and let's not forget the tragedy of no Parmesan truffle fries - a serious oversight in the friesphere! In conclusion, Bar Henry, you've earned yourself a repeat visitor. Just don't be surprised if I show up with a disco ball and demand a drink that tastes like wizardry - challenge accepted!“

“Second time visiting this restaurant and once again it did not dissapoint. Ropa vieja with maduros and congri was delicious. Tried their flan for first time. Was delicious! Im not a fan of flan. The texture is either rubbery, mushy or too sweet buy the flan here was the Best flan I've ever tasted. Firm, but smooth texture with delicious topping. Definitely making this restaurant one of my favorites.“

“Food was delicious; the best! But they were short-handed, like everywhere these days. Service was a little slow but that wasn't the waiters fault. The table we were sitting at was falling apart and booth across the way was torn in two places. That said!! Atmosphere still felt very old L.A. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.“

“It's really hard for me to give a full 5 stars. Creative cocktails? Check. Imposing whisky collection? Check. Loud music blasting so hard you have to shout your order to the bartender and shout to the person in front of you? Check.I feel like it's a ton of wasted potential. Disregard my inner cocktail nerd wanting to talk about alcohol with the bartenders but it's even hard to talk to the person sitting next to you.I'll probably try again tomorrow and update my review afterwards. All of that said, the drinks are very good so try it even if you end up just drinking them in silence.“

“Food was great the only thing was that we saw breakfast items on the website menu and we were excited to have breakfast there but when we got there it was breakfast buffet and a dinner/lunch menu. Normally we wouldn't mind but we were craving very specific items and getting paying for a $40 per person buffet and a $20 buffet for our two year old who eats small portions just didn't make sense for us. Seems like the brunch might benefit folks with older kids or those looking to have cocktails with their meals, which wasn't for us. Fun place for a brunch date, breakfast brunch or girls brunch though!“

“I am so happy I came to this place! They had a nice happy Hour (till 7:00pm!!). I went on a Tuesday evening, and the restaurant was quiet, but it was great to get to talk with my friends without having to yell over music or anything. They have large TVs on, and the Dodger Game was on display by the bar area. We got the Michelada flight, and they were delicious. I thought we were going to need more, but the flight was enough for two to share, since we were not trying to get tipsy. The fries were good, had a lot of toppings. We ordered garlic fries and they brought out a different plate. It looked so appetizing, we didn't bother sending them back and just enjoyed them. My friend also ordered Fresas can Creme and they came in a cute martini glass. When I got my check, I was so relieved with the amount. They have a good size parking lot too. Im definitely going to come back. I don't know if it gets busy on the weekends but they have 90min. $20 Bottomless mimosas, so I would assume it does.“

“This review is for the Mexican restaurant Delicias . I happen to be in the area and was in the mood for Mexican food I'm so glad I came across this place .As soon as I arrived I was greeted so friendly by the staff they gave me a choice to sit where I wished, so I sat near the second section next to the bar I had such a nice waitress I ordered a cantarito to begin I'm not going to lie it was a a bit light it could have used a bit more love in other words my cantarito was was water down . I ordered a Chile relleno with rice and beans it was super delicious I'm so glad it wasn't too heavy it was my first time here so I didn't know what to expect . I'm so bummed I wanted a lagunitas IPA cause it was advertised everywhere as soon as I walked in I asked my waitress they said they didn't have it I guess it wasn't my luck but was a bit upset seeing all the poster boards . I would recommend this place food wise .“
