“An absolute favorite that I am sure to visit on every trip to the Bay. Very unique fusions of Indian and Californian flavors with something for every palate. My favorites are the sesame leaf, burrata kulcha, house salad and dry boat scallops. Also don’t sleep on the cocktails. Very nicely crafted.“

“Amazing seafood market! The restaurant offers daily specials and a happy hour, which makes the prices very appealing. We went there on Monday; I ordered the 1lb lobster, and it was such indulgence! I love the potato chips too; they’re crispy but not oily. I wish I could go there every day! Definitely the best dinner experience during my one-week trip in the Bay Area. The restaurant comes with outdoor seating area, very relaxing!Parking: You could parking along the road, and they also provide parking in the back of the restaurant. It was pretty easy since it was not a major road.“

“In search of a late lunch and the gorditas here caught my attention. Order comes with 2, and I went with the chicharon. May look small, but it was filling. Loved the texture of the crispy masa shell. Flavors of the inside was good, too - would've liked more of the chicharon. I'd definitely return as there are other menu items I'd like to try.“

“Reservations recommended. It's a fabulous find with fantastic food. This was our second visit, and my partner said the margarita she ordered was a good as our first time. The service was terrific, and the food was hot and delicious. The salsa served with the chips was teetering on the high end of my tolerance, but I'm kind of a lightweight in that regard. The only cautionary note is the environment. The space has tall ceilings and nothing to dampen sound. As a result, it is pretty raucous and lively...not ideal for quiet conversation. I wouldn't want them to change as that's part of the experience.“

“Was invited to be background for a filming at this restaurant. The service was great and they even helped fix my friend's dish when he found a hair in it. I liked the creative way they presented the vegetables. My potato somehow looks like a muffin. Additional service was real flowers, real candles, and great cocktails. Amazing.“

“Defintely Poke'd Out after the lunch. Ordering method is broken down nicely and listed down well in the menu. It goes like Base + Poke + Mix-in + Sauce + Add-ons. I have chosen the medium sized bowl where I got 4 scoops of poke instead of mentioned 3, all the sizes get additional scoop as complementary. Chose couple of miso shrimp and spicy crab(it was spicy indeed) scoops. Tofu medley was not that great, tough to satisfy vegetarians or vegans. I felt the quantity was overwhelming for one person, small would be more than enough. Priced around $20 for the medium, it's on the expensive side, but the diverse selections make it recommendable. Note that it’s only a to-go restaurant.“

“Stumbled upon this spot because my girlfriend and I were looking for a quick take out place. We found parking really close and ordered through a tablet. We got our food in 15 minutes! We got the spam musabis, chicken katsu and bbq chicken plate and the short rib chicken bbq plate. The portions are huge and the service was really nice. They also gave us a stamp card so after ten orders you get one for free! Definitely will be coming back.“

“Unassuming, somewhat hidden, but hands down, these guys need a bigger place and to be well known! I know that sushi in the Bay Area has a good rep… But I was certainly not expecting the quality that I got here tonight. I basically ordered off of the specials menu after I started with the SB Uni. Ama Ebi to Otoro, and everything was melt in your mouth fresh and delicious. If I could do it over again, I would have definitely gone with the Omakase because these sushi chefs will not disappoint!“

“I had the scallops with the risotto and corn. No sauce. 3 others in the party had the same dish with the sauce, none of them finished the meal with that sauce on the risotto. They should rethink that dish, it was sooooo good without it. The restaurant is too expensive to serve a meal to a party plated as described on the menu and no one like it. It was a waste of money for those 3 people. It's was loud.“

“I have lived in San Bruno 30 years. And just the other day discovered "Big Joe's" restaurant at 487 San Mateo Ave. Apparently, they have been there forever. What an amazing culinary discovery ! Tucked away among the local stores is this inconspicuous gem. American cuisine at is very best. Portions are generous. Quality is five stars. Try their burgers and steaks ! Breakfast OMG. The open kitchen is another plus. Service and cleanliness is top notch too. don't let the unexciting appearance discourage you. This place is 5 stars.“

This is the most fabulous pies you don't even know how fortunate you are to live in San Mateo county but I'm letting you know this please I swear to God you're gonna love it. By the way, best mannerism after Covid people are not nice. When you go to restaurants, they act like they do you a favor. These people are amazing. I'm astonished I'm sucked into this joint. We normally patronize the Pleasanton location, but as we were coming from SFO, we thought we’d try this location.First off, they have outdoor hot pot tables available; we didn’t do it this time, but next time for sure! The restaurant staff is great here, very friendly and go above & beyond… there’s also ample parking available too.The veggies and meat are all fresh and fantastic and the sauce bar is loaded. We’ll definitely be back!“

“My wife and I were in the San Francisco area for a week and had generally excellent food. My wife found this restaurant via Google and we decided to visit because of the good reviews and proximity to our Airbnb. We were not sure what to expect as this restaurant was so close to airport and there were many open tables. We had an excellent experience!!! The food and wine were top tier as well as the service. For entrees we had rack of lamb and the linguine lobster. The food was perfectly prepared and of extremely high quality. Towards the end of the meal we go into a discussion with the owner on wineries to visit in Napa/Sonoma. We were both very passionate about wine and at the end she comp’d us a bottle of very expensive wine from her favorite winery. Don’t hesitate to try JC Bruno- you will love it.“

“I love this place. Every time I come here they are so friendly. And their food is truly the best. A fusion of Thai, and Chinese cuisine. My favorite dish is the butter garlic crab with french fries. If you order it with a side of garlic noodles it's truly amazing. Their spicy Fried rice has chicken and shrimp in it and is actually very original in taste. Stephanie and Allie have always treated me well. This place is a gathering point of this particular community and most importantly, it's open very late. When everyone else is closed, this is the place you go to for gourmet food when you don't want to have a slice of pizza or fast food. I have met so many good acquaintances here. And this is where I bring guests that are flying in from out of town first. They are right next to the airport......“

“The best food from El Salvador are the pupusas. There are very few places where you can find delicious pupusas and this is one of them. The cabbage salsa was not perfect but acceptable. “We were in as a group of six and treated our friends who have been amazing helping us move to our new condo nearby and puppy sitting the past half year.We had enough people to make a reservation so waiting was minimal despite the weekend. The atmosphere was on the loud side, music and TV wise so not a lot of conversation (but how much taking when there’s SO much food anyways, I guess?). The variety was pretty good; a nice mix of fresh veggies, decent meat and seafood and lots of fun bits like wok fried peanuts and sesame balls to round out the usual sauces and fruit. The service was good, we got our orders in and everything arrived pretty fast.We did get stuck on a table without the conveyer belts so we didn’t exactly get the immediate satisfaction of grabbing what caught our eye but it was fine as a one off.“

“The food is delicious- consistently. It is a bit of a hole in the wall , but again delicious food. My only gripe is the consistency with the cashiers. One time in particular, one of the brothers was training a new girl and she didn’t ring in one taco i ordered. Once my food arrived and I noticed , the brother said I wasn’t charged and when I went to pay with my card he enforced the minimum card purchase rule. This was extremely annoying because 1. This was the their error 2. I’m a regular. He should have either made an exception or given me the taco at no charge . Instead I got no taco . This made me not go back for over a year. This lack of customer service could really detour business. I have not had an issue since starting back and the food is just delicious“

“This place is amazing!! In from out of town so tried this place. The food is awesome!!! I don't like spicy and they made sure it wasn't. They even customized my thai tea with extra cream. The chicken satay was super tender. The peanut sauce is one of the best I've had. The fried shrimp rolls were Super Fresh. The garlic prawns were out of this world yummy. I wish they would take off the peelings but I'll definitely order it again. The pad see ew was so fresh and wonderful. I really can't wait to return to this place. I highly recommend it!!“

“Our friends took us here for dinner. Pretty popular place as people lined up before opening to get in asap, and people were still waiting in line for tables to open. They have items that I haven't seen at other Vietnamese restaurants. I had the lemongrass ribs, that was delicious. My wife and her friend shared the Sea Lovers platter and enjoyed it. If you're in the area and craving Vietnamese cuisine, this is a definte place to go.Parking: There is street and garage parking that depending on the day and time is paid or free.“

“Total trepidation with trying anything that dares call itself a sushi restaurant. As a former Tokyo resident, It's bad enough as it is to see Americanized sushi rolls everywhere. Given the rave reviews, the intriguing juxtaposition of flavors, and wanting to support local businesses struggling to survive along Middlefield Road in North Fair Oaks, I just had to check it out. I had ordered takeout out of concern for parking and ambiance but upon arrival found easy street parking and found it to be rather busy for 5:30 on a Friday. The bar was full and as were several of the booths. Online ordering on their website was easy. Sweet lady at the front, I'm assuming is an owner, was very kind and appreciative of my patronage. I got the Divorciado sushi roll, the portion for which was huge, but saw the ceviche Tostada Perrona which looked really appetizing, so I got that as well. Best not to think of it as Asian-Mexican fusion and just as Sinaloan seafood specialties. I thoroughly enjoyed the sushi roll, subtle combination of flavors worked well together. Ceviche was very fresh. It came with two tostada. I will definitely be back with friends.“

“The food here is really, really good. I came here to eat out with a friend of mine and ordered the house garlic noodles, Dungeness crab, and imperial rolls. I can't say much about the service since they gave me and my friend lots of time to catch up, so depending on what you expect, it's pretty good. That's why I gave service 4 stars. Good, but not exactly outstanding. The atmosphere is really nice. I would personally sit on a patio if it's offered, but that's completely your choice.“

“A hidden gem in EPA! This place is pumping out awesome food! We came in a group of 7 people and sat down pretty quick. We sat outside in the patio seating and it was very nice a cool breeze came through there and the decor was nice. We looked through the menu and started to make our order. The food was good the vampiro tacos are on point I loved the shrimp ones very good! The sushi rolls they had were also smack! Enjoyed the salmon roll we had. Beer and seafood you can't go wrong with that! This place is a must try spot right next to Pal market on university before you head to the bridge. “What a crazy fusion menu of Chinese and Vietcajun! I would 100% come back here for the cajun xiao long bao. The savory cajun garlic butter broth inside the handwrapped dumpling wrapper... SO GOOD! It was served fresh and you could even see the staff making these by hand. Made to order!KEEP IN MIND: They no longer serve happy hour here - even though it says it in the menu... We got the cucumber salad, which was simple and tasty, but bummed it wasn't discounted LOLThe Vegetable Noodle Soup tasted very hearty and homestyle. I liked the texture of the noodles and the broth was flavorful. A good amount of veggies!“

“Amazing food that is a traditional but regionally unique cuisine of southern coastal Mexico along with the kind of dishes you would typically expect. There are many dishes I usually only have had the pleasure of enjoying when friends or coworkers share homemade. Good, but not over the top presentation. Hearty portions for everything I have tried so far. For example, the sushi rolls are a solid meal on their own.If you have never been to a rural Central American beach town, you might find the atmosphere oddly "rustic", but I am confident the owner knew exactly what they were doing in creating an authentic atmosphere of where his recipes are from.Feeling adventurous, love good Mexican seafood, or looking for another Hawaiian shirt dress code restaurant, don't miss out.Parking: Exclusive lot in back.Kid-friendliness: Yes?Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“

“Ordered a super burrito with no beans, received a regular by mistake on a take out order. Chips and salsa included, which were great, green salsa especially. Burrito was large size, but with only meat and rice inside did not satisfy. They do not offer a breakfast burrito anymore and said they were out of eggs. I would give them another chance but would eat there to ensure my order was right, and get more chips and salsa!“

“This is a great local Chinese spot that is inexpensive, gives generous portions, and has a wide variety of northern and southern mainland Chinese cuisine (leaning toward Cantonese). “My friend and I love seafood boils so we decided to try this place out for dinner. Cute decorations inside, place was clean, server was attentive, and the food came out quick. I ordered a lb of mussels and she got a lb of shrimp (head on). We both asked for a combination of the 3 sauces (medium). The cook and texture of the seafood was great. The sauce was heavy on the Cajun side which I liked and the spice level was a perfect medium. We also got the garlic noodles, it wasn't oily like most are and I enjoyed the garlic flavor. Definitely try this place if you're craving seafood!“

“Reservations can be made on OpenTable. There's lots of parking, with a parking attendant at the entrance. It was my first time at Kincaid's and was pleasantly surprised. Our server was helpful (it was my first time there), patient and attentive. The view of the water is so nice, especially around sunset. The food was good. The portions were bigger than I anticipated but a little overcooked. The molten chocolate cake wasn't what I expected. I was hoping the cake would be filled with liquid and the outer layer more like a cake texture. The molten chocolate cake was more like a truffle.“
