“This place is adorable and really hit the spot! Yoyo was SO sweet and even gave me free mushroom soup and 2 cookies!!Pros: I really enjoyed meeting Yoyo. $19 for a bento box and bubble tea is a good value, and the meal was satisfying and filling with a lot of variety. I love the colorful, cheery feel inside as well.Cons: The food is 3.5-4 stars, but I’m giving 5 stars for the really kind people who work there and the vibe! The soup was a bit too salty for my taste, and I wish the tuna steak was more rare and had less pepper on it/had more interesting flavoring. It was encrusted with black pepper and salt. I ordered seaweed salad in my Bento box, but got regular salad; salad was good though, so not an issue.I would like to see a few more healthy and vegetarian options here. Overall, I loved the feel of this place and the people running it, so I’ll definitely be back to try more options. Wish I lived closer so I could come here more often!Vegetarian options: I really appreciated that they did not charge extra for oat milk instead of dairy; many places upcharge a lot for this. Otherwise, it is mostly fish and meat centered and vegetarian options are unfortunately limited. I wish they would add veggie gyoza (currently only chicken), a tofu sandwich, and a few other veggie options.“
“I work upstairs and this cafe has everything you could possibly want and need. Breakfast foods, coffee, boba, sandwiches, and desserts. Service is always quick and the ladies who work there are extremely nice. The mochi muffins are AMAZING. The chicken pesto is my favorite. You can't go wrong with any of the smoothies, boba, or coffee. Boba is a bit on the sweet side so I always ask for less sugar and they're able to accommodate me. So happy to have them in the building!“
“My favorite place for dessert in San Francisco. I love these crepes so much! The staff are so friendly and have creative hands/minds. The crepes are always made fresh and topped with fresh delicious fruit and ice cream. Yum yum!Vegetarian options: Delicious!“
“I'm obsessed with this place. I've ordered their jasmine milk tea with boba at 25% sweetness twice and it's high-quality tea. I've also had their Vietnamese egg coffee and it's so sweet and creamy! The service is efficient and friendly. The ambience is cute. I wished I lived closer.“
“Delicious food so we can back both days of our trip! We live in Chicago but don't have something like this that we have found which is saying something!Food was awesome and server Noel was so friendly and helpful(^_^)Thank you so much!Vietnamese boba coffee drink was really good and I love being able to get pandan waffles or pho^_^Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pho! great tofu in it had flavor(^_^)Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible from street level!“
“Overall Thoughts: We stopped by this spot while walking through Chinatown on LNY 2024— it was crowded with a long line, but my friends and I were able to snag one of the tables inside. The menu offers a diverse array of drinks from smoothies to coffees to fruit/milk teas. As a durian lover, I specifically went because they had various durian-flavored drinks (durian mango smoothie, which I ordered and durian latte, which I’ll have to return someday to try). We waited ~10-15 min to receive our orders, but we weren’t in a rush and it was worth it. I’m not sure what typical prices are like in SF, but the prices here seemed standard but maybe on the higher side.Drinks I tried:- Durian Meets Mango Smoothie (5/5): Delicious— I’ve never had a durian-mango combo drink before but these being 2 of my favorite smoothie fruits, they paired beautifully together. I loved the creaminess of the smoothie, the mild yet distinctive durian flavors, and the sweetness of the mango chunks.- Avocado Sago Smoothie (5/5): If I wasn’t such a durian fiend, I would even say this was the best drink I tried here. It was so delicious…- Honeydew Smoothie (4.6/5): Pretty standard smoothie— very light and refreshing.—Price (relative to peers): 4.2/5Drinks: 4.8/5Ambience: 4.5/5Service: 4.6/5Overall Value: 4.5/5“
“Favorite milk tea shop in Oakland! What I like most about Golden Tea Shop: variety of tea (they have four different Oolongs!), strength of tea flavor, and value (probably best bang for your buck in Oakland). Personal drink rotation includes the Roasted Black Milk Tea, Roasted Oolong Milk Tea, Jinxuan Oolong Milk Tea, and Thai Milk Tea - all great whether iced or hot. Their fruit teas are also a refreshing choice for summertime (personal fave is Honeydew).Recommendations: Their 50% sugar level, to me, provides the tough-to-find optimal sweetness for those who don't like their milk tea too sweet. While I do enjoy i-Tea as well, I find that their 30% sugar level is still indulgently sweet. Would also recommend at least 75% ice for iced drinks - 50% tends to lead to a lukewarm/cold temp that is not as enjoyable. Finally, would suggest ordering online ahead of time (I use TPass) - drinks can take a while if there's a rush of orders.“
“Easily my top 2 boba spots in the bay! Their quality is so consistent and unique flavors keep me as a loyal customer. Sunright has 2 kiosks and a counter to order from but they're never too busy and always have enough staff so there usually isn't a long wait! Milk teas in general - Super fragrant and made out of actual brewed tea so quality?? Unmatched. Their Yakult drinks can be VERY sweet so I'd personally recommend 75-50% sweetness. Their boba is also of perfect texture and perfectly drenched in honey syrup. **They used to have aged tea latte which was my fav but it hasn't been available for months now :((**“
“Love their hojicha latte! I've ordered from here often and I usually get the hojicha latte, regular sweet + light ice + boba. Boba is hit or miss here; it could be sweet or flavorless, but most of the time it's sweet. Service is always timely and attentive.“
“Glad we walked all the way to the end of the terminal to try Mama Go's Filipino Cuisine because it was delicious. They had a line but it moved relatively quick and we weren't in a rush. Service is so kind and generous. It gave off a homey vibe and they had some authentic class Filipino dishes which is a plus. Price was on the higher side but it is the airport. The garlic rice was fantastic and went well with the chicken adobo. The entree also came with a side dish, which is a great selection.“
“I really like the poplar nectar here!Recommend a large cup of half sugar and pearls for more texture? It’s a must-try especially when the weather is hot~There is also a brown sugar pearl series. I personally prefer to switch from milk to oat milk for a different flavor. I think it is very good. You can also order it hot. It is very warm and satisfying to drink when it is very cold in winter❤️I love Mango Pomelo Sago! When the weather is cold I will order brown sugar flavor hot and change regular milk to oat milk~ I prefer oat milk is the best for me ?“
“Thomas, the 'bobarista' at Happy Lemon, is a true maestro of bubble tea! His passion for creating delicious and unique concoctions is evident in every sip. Thomas takes the art of boba crafting to new heights, ensuring each drink is a burst of flavor and joy. If you're a bubble tea enthusiast, a visit to Happy Lemon with Thomas at the helm is an absolute must. Exceptional service and unparalleled boba mastery!“
“Consistently good drinks with unique seasonal offerings. I’ve been coming to this place for years, and it’s become one of my go-to’s in the city. Recently, I went and ordered 3 of the new drinks on the menu for my friend and I to try. I added boba to 1 of the drinks but later found out it wasn’t included. I didn’t realize while I was still at the place because the drinks were put into a to-go bag. I’m a little disappointed since I paid extra for the boba. I’ll still come back of course, but I’ll double check that my drinks are correct.“
“The most innovative vegetarian food on Haight Street - at lower than average prices (for San Francisco). I’m a fan.Vegetarian options: Tofu scramble is hearty with generous portions; better than most.Parking: Metered parking out front, free street parking along panhandle one block away.“
“I ordered matcha and vanilla ice cream. Delicious ice cream flavor, not too sweet. The queue was quite crowded due to the holiday, but the staff worked quite quickly so I didn't have to wait long. It takes about 10 minutes to have ice cream. The small shop has no seats, you can bring ice cream to a chair in the middle of the mall to eat.“
“Evening dessert is always the way to go! Ordered coffee gelato, mango sagoo, and chocolate mousse with panna cotta.Mango sagoo: honestly not the best. I will not reorder- it’s so bland (granted, it was 75% sweetness) but you can definitely taste the coconut milk and the mangoes are not that sweet. It’s different than regular mango sagoo that I used to have.Chocolate mousse + panna cotta: i ordered one with chocolate marbles. It’s tasty but seems like the panna cotta a little tangy. Is it spoiled or is it the actual taste…? Unsure. The mousse is good, a little dense but very chocolatey.Coffee gelatto & mochi waffles: this is the star of the show. It’s chewy, sticky, and rich. Waffle has great chewy-ness to it, yet still crispy and amazing. Gelato was perfectly sweet and rich. 10/10 will get it again.“
“It is one of the best boba tea I’ve ever tried in Bay area. I had mochi soy drink with 0% sugar. The mochi is super soft. I wish I could get more mochi. The mochi cream is light sweet and full of flavor. The milk tea has strong tea aroma without being bitter. The parking is a bit tricky since it is in downtown. I ordered online and came for pick up since parking is tough.“
“Has been on my list to try for awhile now and finally had the opportunity to today! Location says the tenderloin but the surrounding area was not too bad. I ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba and loved that the tea flavor tasted high quality, delicate but also strong (sometimes milk teas just taste like milk) , boba was perfectly chewy, and they also use fresh milk (they do have non dairy oat or almond alternatives). They also give you the option to opt for a paper cup to be more sustainable at no cost. The quality of the drink reminded me of places like Asha tea. Would definitely frequent this more often if I lived in the city but now I know this is a solid spot whenever I'm in SF.“
“i've been wanting to try asha tea house for years after my friend raved about their milk tea in berkeley. so glad i got to come on a saturday morning!// ambiance //asha tea house is located near union square/financial district. it's a smaller interior but a really nice ambiance. there's a few tables to enjoy your drinks or pastries and you can see the baristas making your drinks. i like the dim lighting and decor--feels very cozy.// service //the cashier answered my questions about the sweetness of the hong kong milk tea. after we placed our order, our drinks were ready in three minutes// hong kong milk tea (boba, less ice, less sweet) $6.25 //i really liked their hong kong milk tea. the black tea flavor was strong and it was sweetened with condensed milk. i got less sweet because i was worried the condensed milk would make it really sweet, but it actually wasn't much. i enjoyed the less sweet version but i think regular sweet would've been good too! the boba was chewy and a good consistency.// would i reorder/return? //i would come back especially if i was looking for a boba shop in SF that has a nice ambiance and sitting. i think their tea is good quality and strong.“
“Great Asian bakery. Perfect cream bunsMakes one of my favorite lemon rolls in the city. Cake is light but surprisingly moist and the jam is perfectly tart. The chocolate roll cake is nice too, though the cream is a bit buttery, which may or may not be your thing. The pastry in the chicken pie/curry puff is very flaky with a somewhat sweet filling (not my favorite but still great).“
“I'm surprised by this Pink Pink. My experience in the Santa Clara location was so bad, I swore to never get it again. They sell soft serve/froyo here?! It's really yummy - totally would get again. I asked for a sample and they gave me a small cup. Peach oolong milk tea was good. Boba was chewy. Drink had a lot of creamer though...would tone it down. Overall, I would not be opposed to coming here again and trying their other drinks!“
“No frills Asian drinks place. Not for sit down (although the anime posters and toys on the walls are fun) but strong mix of options. Would highly recommend preordering via Snack pass app (to avoid the wait). Only downside side is not only is there no place to sit at the site, but there's not really any place to sit outside unless you take tables/chairs allocated to the Laundromat or the Wingstop“
“5/5 Love boba binge. They get my business at least once week. Love the milk tea and the Thai tea Meatball and egg is my go to bahn mi. Only complaint I have is sometimes they aren't open at 11 or even 12 on Saturdays. So the schedule is just kinda when they are open. Missed out on them a couple times because I didn't know when they would be open. Great service, great staff.“
“Genuinely surprised that I could still find a drink (+ topping) for less than $4.50, so I really consider it a steal. We just got a classic Assam milk tea + boba and honestly stumbled upon it because it was the closest shop within walking distance (and still open) from the restaurant we ate at. Is it the best drink or boba I've ever had? Definitely not, but it's also not towards the bottom of the scale. I have to say the price to quality ratio is just stellar. The inside was quite big, looks like they have it set up for people to work and hangout there. It wasn't crowded though, probably because we went pretty close to closing time.“
“There was a missing item from my delivery (I think it was a delivery driver problem and not the store's fault), and the manager Samantha was AMAZING she went above and beyond to make sure things were fixed. I really appreciate it, she called me multiple times to make sure the situation was “
“I've had my eye on this spot for a couple of months and I'm so glad I gave it a try. What caught my attention was their fried pork chop over rice. Pretty huge portion for $13.95. I got it with curry sauce and it did not disappoint. The curry didn't taste like the typical Japanese curry with a lot of spices.. it's more like the HK style cafe curries.. idk man but I loved it. I do wish it came with a little more sauce because I'm a sauce drinker LOL. The pork chop had the perfect amount of batter and it was perfectly crispy and seasoned. So tender. Came with a bed of white rice and cabbage/salad.Once you walk in, you can order from the kiosk or online. Then they'll call your order when it's ready. Basically you can choose to dine in or dine out because it comes in a to go container for convenience. Overall, solid spot. 4.5/5. Would come back!03.06.2024 | Wednesday @12:40pm“
“Finally tried this place in the Inner Sunset District, got me the 3x berries with captain crunch, raspberry syrup, & fruity pebbles, the only thing i didn't like was the long wait to be precise 30 mins! i'm glad they finally opened one of these in SF, the price is a bit pricey but once in a while it doesn't hurt to try this place out.Update: they have now moved to Clement & 25th Ave. plus you can get all the toppings you want for free! Plus you’ll be greeted by the owners son outside, he’s the one who is telling people to try it out lol. Was sad when they closed this place in the Sunset but glad they re-located & closer to my house now!“
“Super cute tiny spot! We came during rush hour so the wait for our order was 40 mins to an hour. The ladies were super sweet and gave us free donuts though! They're really funny and made it a bit better. The drinks themselves were just the right amount of sweetness and we'd definitely recommend the ube boba drink!“
“Stopped by Coco 3 to grab some drinks before heading over to Beauty bound for a quick pedicure. I ordered the taro drink with lots of Sago which I thoroughly enjoyed. Interior is clean, well lit, they have a bathroom that requires a key, and plenty of seating. Staff there is very nice, there's lots of parking in the plaza, and it's right next to Costco across the street so plenty of perks if you need to get your tires changed and need a spot to hang out at.“
“My go-to drink is the pure grape, reminiscent of a creamy grape slushy. The chewy crystal boba adds a delightful texture. I highly recommend opting for no sugar--it's naturally sweet enough, believe me. This boba shop is tucked inside a Chinese restaurant, exuding a very casual, typical boba shop vibe. Service-wise, it's quick and efficient, ensuring a fast experience.“
“Great place for yummy sandwiches. I got their combo and thai tea. Their service is great and fast. It is on the pricier side but worth it. I love their bread which is soft and crispy. I haven't tried their other flavors but I will in the future . My go to sandwich when I'm craving or in the area.“
“Saturday-Wednesday, 11/18/23-11/23/23, Deserting at Bambu Deserts & Drinks in San Francisco. Oh man! This desert shop is so goooood that I went back multiple times to try out their other deserts on the menu. Their pandan jelly, boba, and red tapioca are super soft, fragrant, and refreshing which got me hooked for more.I’ve tried many desert shops in Los Angeles County and Orange County and this desert shop has raised the bar, big time. I have been elated by this experience with Bambu, San Francisco. I’m so blessed. Here are a few desserts I’ve tried for the week that I’m there on my vacation in San Francisco.-Smashed Avocado: Awesome!!! it’s so refreshing and burst of flavors especially with the coffee jelly! Words could not express my feeling with the taste of this dessert!-Pandan waffle: I’ve ordered it to go and after some time, it is still crispy and flavorful which is unexpected.-Bambu favorite: full of the different flavors in the ingredients-Hazelnut Mocha blend: Hazelnut flavored coffee and very smooth.-Fresh coconut pudding: coconut jelly & cream in a real coconut shell with its meat. Amazing texture and flavors that I never had before and it’s so refreshing on a warm day!!!-Mangonada: Wow! Refreshing smoothie with some tang. I can’t believe this Vietnamese dessert shop makes such a great Mexican style smoothie.-Avo-coconut smoothie: I had avocado smoothie before but not with coconut. It’s a great blend that compliment the avocado.-Taro lovers; the pandas jelly and taro were so fresh and tender with the coconut milk made it so refreshing. If you like to taste more of the taro, ask for the 75% sweetness.-Awesome Trio: a classic Vietnamese Che that can’t go wrong. As expected it is delicious and my favorite childhood drink/desert.-Bambu Halo Halo: A Filipino classic desert with so much ingredients that to buy all ingredients, it would cost me over $40 easy. I enjoyed a large cup my way, right away for $9, it’s all worth it and more. The service staffs work fast, were friendly, super nice, and service with a smile each time I’m there.I’ve been eating at so many dessert shops and I think this shop is by far the best of the best with their high quality ingredients!I highly recommend trying this Bambu Desert shop if you are traveling to the San Francisco area like me or if you are local, you must already notice that this is a hidden gems of a dessert shop. Share this information with your friends and family to keep the great desert shop business’ open for your enjoyment for the years to come. Happy desert eating!!!David YoungRestaurant Enthusiast“
“As a Taiwanese I approve of this! The boba is very good and the tea is also very good. There's a combo deal for medium hk milk tea with an egg waffle. We had lychee oolong and hk milk tea with an egg waffle. The waffle is also good. Light and fluffy. They made it right after ordering which makes the crust crunch.“
“The teas are strong, the smoothies are delicious. I have only heard about the tea because I am a caffeine free child, but the smoothies. THE SMOOTHIES!!!!! They have so many different flavours, and the sweetness is always perfect. I also like how their large sizes are actually large. I definitely recommend the red bean smoothie, which somehow exists, and I LOVE IT. The drinks can get a bit sweet, but you can change the sweetness on all of them, I believe. Since they are a very popular business, it does take some time for them to make the drinks, but the wait is always worth it. And, they are "professionals," and they work as hard as they can to make your drink. It's a very small place, so most people get their drinks to-go, which is what happens at most boba shops anyways, so that doesn't change anything about my extremely high opinions about them. I did have a favourite drink before, but they took it off the menu. I have since loved the red bean smoothie, and highly recommend it.:)“
“I was in a rush, needing to eat something. The people were very nice. I ordered a crepe and a black tea with red bean (no more bobba ?) I noticed later there was milk in it (I did not want milk as my body don't like it). My mistake in ordering (I hate ordering via a machine)? Or theirs? I don't know. It was good from a taste perspective. The crepe was good also.“
“This spot is legit! Never have I ever ordered a large boba that was as worth it as this spot. They do not skimp on the amount of drink you get. Their topping were awesome I had mango popping boba and mango crystal boba. The mango lover was delicious. The interior of the store was clean and small. Kind of a get in get out shop. The workers were all super kind and really cared about what we ordered. They explained in detail what each drink selection we had in mind was. And on top of that, we were given samples since we were torn between to options. This might be my favorite boba shop to date. Awesome people and awesome drinks would definitely recommend to anybody!“
“You know, for the longest time, I used to wonder why there weren't more boba shops around the outer edge of the Sunset District. I get that the area out here doesn't get the same foot traffic as the stretch of Irving by 19th Ave, for example, but that's also my point - without much competition, and given all of the nearby schools, a good boba shop could kill it! So, you can imagine how delighted I was to see that Bobaville opened up their second location out here. Granted, I'd yet to try their original location in Daly City either, but I had heard so many good things about it from friends that I couldn't help but feel excited to see one pop up so much closer to me!Now, I should note that I'm fully aware that Eggettes offers boba and they aren't all that far from here. However, like several of my longtime, go-to spots on this side of SF, they seem to have fallen off over the years (or my taste has just improved). As such, Bobaville and their collection of drinks is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Sure, it'd be nice if they also had food offerings as well, but I'm not going to quibble over that. Not when nearly every variety of tea, matcha, smoothie, and coffee on the sounds so enticing! Plus, their boba is made in house, so huge plus points for that!-- ICE CREAM TEA - Choice of Tea (Black) with a Scoop of French Vanilla Ice Cream...$5.25(yelp.com/biz_photos/boba…)Pretty unique...and delicious! Given the ice cream, I asked for 25% and it was just right after mixing everything together. Surprisingly, the texture could've been creamier, but I liked how the ice cream complemented the tea rather than overpowered it.-- HONG KONG MILK TEA - Black Tea Serviced with Sugar and Evaporated Milk...$5(yelp.com/biz_photos/boba…)Not as good as the Ice Cream Tea, but still pretty solid! It was a little sweet at 75%, but not as sweet as other places' 75%. As far as taste goes, it was quite tasty, though the consistency was a little bit on the watery side for me.-- ALMOND TEA - Almond Flavored Black Tea with Non-Dairy Creamer...$5.25(yelp.com/biz_photos/boba…)I got this one at 50% sweet and it was just right - just enough to complement the almond flavor (though I wish the latter was stronger). I also added their Homemade Boba to try (+$.75) and it was fantastic! Flavorful with a nice, tender chewiness to it.-- MANGO KING - Ultra Creamy Mango Drink Made With Mango Puree, Mango Ice Cream, and Whipped Cream...$6.50(yelp.com/biz_photos/boba…)I came for this after hearing so many good things from friends and it is SO GOOD! The consistency is perfect (super creamy but not thick) and it's full of mango flavors from the ice cream and the puree. One of my new favorites anywhere! In addition to their tasty drinks, another big positive about Bobaville is their staff. Every time I've been here, the workers have always been super friendly and seem genuinely happy to help when folks have asked questions. I also love how relatively easy it is to find nearby parking. Of course, it's even easier at night, but they close somewhat early (6pm on most nights, 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays), which is really the only "bad" thing about them. I mean, I get why (not many places out here stay open late), but if they were to close a bit later, I'm sure folks like me would make the drive from elsewhere just because everything here tastes so good! All in all, I'm not sure what I'm happier about - the fact that Bobaville has opened up in SF, that I've finally learned what so many other Yelpers have already known about them, or that they were as good as I had hoped. I'm not sure if I'd go so far as to say that they're my favorite boba shop around, but they're certainly one of my favorites on this side of The City. Yes, even ahead of my nostalgic favorite, Wonderful Desserts.FOUR AND A HALF STARS rounded up.“
“This place is such a hidden gem especially for it to be at Daly City. My family and I keep coming to this place for more. They have improved the quality of the place, better ordering service, and even have music playing in the background (50 Cent, Eminem, Coolio, etc.)My parents and siblings loved it that we knew we needed to go back and order for them, it’s honestly such a vibe when entering the place.I would definitely recommend this place especially since there’s tables to hang out, it would be amazing if the place could ever have a more sociable atmosphere in the future. Overall I’m definitely coming back for more! :)Kid-friendliness: They sell what seems to be board games if your kids are interested in those kinds of entertainment.“
“Phenomenal, simply put. We tried the oolong, thai, and frozen butter beer. We all loved it. Service is great, they have great selection. They have dairy free options.Vegetarian options: Dairy free optionsParking: Some parking in the front and paid street parking.“
“They give you what you ask for consistently so you can’t fault them anywhere but when matched against some of their competitors they fall short in portion size and it looked like prices had gone up a bit since last visit.Ordered a mango chia w/ ice cream, coconut/mango pudding, mango sago.Parking: Middle of Oakland Chinatown your parking luck will b tested.“
“One of the only places in an area with mostly hospitals & retirement homes that has hot food other than Tommy's Joynt and the overrated Lemoncello. Great Mango Green Tea with Lychee Jelly. Just as good as Super Cue across town where I grew up. Good Poke Bowls. Amazing croissant. Best one I've had since I was in Switzerland . Best Spam Musubi in the city. Family ran. Nice to see a migrant family be in touch with AI; speak English and become a part of the community in a Sanctuary City. Reminds me of old Americana the old Candy Stores that kids hang out at after school.“
“My 14 years old son Ethan is obsessed with your Boba. He buys everyday after school as he goes to his after school program. Today, he rode his scooter to get all of us someAfternoon boba. His boba fell as he entered the elevator. He went back and told the staff that his boba spilled . He was prepared to buy another one but staff recognized the little black boy in dreads. They gave hîm a free free to replace. He was so happy and I thought I would write a review to just appreciate the amazing staff you have who take care of our kids while we are away. I will make him intern there since he loves your boba so much.Thank you once again and keep up the good service and best Boba in town.“
“The best banh mi I've had, made by the friendliest people. The fried tofu sandwich is delicious. I've stopped here twice while doing the SF Crosstown Trail and taken my sandwiches and drinks into Golden Gate Park for a perfect lunch. Will definitely keep coming back!“
“the drinks from (this) boba guys is super good and high quality. the employees are super nice. i asked if they could remove the ice for 2 of my drinks that i had gotten, and the worker was super nice to have it even gez taken out. she almost remade my whole drink, which i found very nice. this places environment is super clean and friendly. would definitely recommend this boba guys.“
“lady luck coffee is a small drink shop in chinatown that serves coffee and boba. definitely more of a takeout spot than a sit-down cafe. the employee working at the time was very sweet and friendly when answering questions about the drink.// iced vanilla latte with whole milk ($5.50) //the latte came in a cute rounded boba cup. it had a good balance of vanilla and espresso.it was sweet, but not too much; i asked and the employee said the drinks here are not too sweet (or as sweet as starbucks) so i did not modify the sweetness.we took our drinks to go and drank them in a nearby park. i enjoyed my drink and would return. prices are reasonable for SF.“
“I ordered a mango lime tea with condensed milk and the person who was making my drink came out and talked to me about my choices and he seemed like he really enjoyed working there! My drink was really good and very it came out pretty quickly.“
“No frills place for boba and Asian style tea. Liked it quite a lot as we were able to choose the right sweetness etc. only slight con is they don’t take discover (despite saying they do on the machine it declined both our our discover cards).“
“When Tiger Tea opened, I thought "does San Mateo really need another boba place?" I was wrong. We had a craving for Thai Tea and popped into Tiger Tea. Also saw their Avocado shake and was intrigued since I've only seen these at Viet restaurants. Both drinks were fantastic Thai tea had a strong tea flavor with just enough sweetness at 75% 5/5 Avocado shake was very refreshing, creamy and sweet 5/5“
“We tried their signature purple rice yogurt dessert and were pleasantly surprised by its delicious taste! The rice, seemingly cooked in coconut milk and brown sugar (our unconfirmed guess), adds a delicate flavor that pairs well with the plain vanilla yogurt. We loved it and will definitely return to explore more flavors!“
“Really just a boba guys. Asked why it's called the burrow and was told that it's where a lot of their pasties are delivered out from. Overall boba guys is pretty solid boba. I usually order a jasmine milk tea with 70% sweetness. Only downside is that sometimes the boba can be a little watery and I wish that the tea taste was stronger/more consistent“
