“Mashaallah started out as a food truck but now has a stall in the food court of Westfield San Francisco. Despite its humble appearance, this small business offered some of the best Pakistani food I've had in the city from its steam table of freshly-prepared meat and vegetable curries. A star dish here (which came recommended by Soleil Ho) was the Lamb Korma, made of super tender, lean, meaty chunks of lamb in a spiced curry. On my combination plate, I also got the Chana Masala (chickpea curry) and the Palak Paneer (cheese cubes in a velvety puréed spinach sauce), served along with rice. Every item was delicately spiced and flavorful without being too salty, and the garnishes of raw onion and cilantro brought out the freshness of the dishes. On the side, I also had an order of Garlic Naan (another star item), which was perfectly soft and chewy and had a wonderful flavor and aroma from the garlic and herbs. Overall, the food here was absolutely delicious, and the owners were so friendly and hospitable too!“
“This is by far one of the best taco trucks in the area. I have been coming back here for about two years, and I'm finally writing a review. I have tried everything on their menu and only one item I don't like, but it's my personal opinion. Their seasoning it's always on point. In two years, the food is always great. You get a good amount of meat per taco compared to every other truck in the area. Also their price is much lower than the competition. I have tried every single taco truck in the mission district, and this one is by far the best.“

“I'm a loyal customer of the Zumix juice truck on El Camino and by random chance I decided to walk over to Jovanni's taco truck (parked right next to each other). I started off light with the first visit and ordered a plain carne asada taco with no salsa or fixings. I personally always want to see if an establishment has good meat and a tortilla for a foundation. My next visit I ventured to the Carne Asada Super Taco and I fell in love. The flavors from the salsa and meat are perfectly balanced, the perfectly grilled tortilla has a bit of a nice char to it and lastly the cheese melt on the tortilla isn't overwhelming. I also enjoy the fresh cucumbers they serve with it and the grilled onions on the side. I come here 1-2 times a week now it's just absolutely worth your time to stop and grab a bite.“

“Damn El Charrito, you got me craving those flavors. After doing some grocery shopping in Colma, we decided to try a new (to us) taco truck which is located near the Wendy's in Colma/Day City border area. We were surprised to see so many 5 star reviews, but now I know why. We decided to get a couple burritos, my BF wanted a Carne Asada and I wanted the Birria. Both were huge and had half for lunch and the rest for dinner. What I really loved was the salsas! They gave us free chips with three types of salsa; a roasted pepper tomato that was spicy, a habanero that was also spicy but so tasty I couldn't stop eating it and the last was a green salsa that was less spicy but very flavorful.“
“I'm a committed fan. Hands down the best authentic momos in the Bay Area - thin, translucent skin, perfectly spiced, just right. Ask for the spicy red sauce, and it'll transport you right back to the bylanes of Delhi and Kathmandu. Superb! And the cherry on top is staff that genuinely cares and adds a personal touch. I asked why they switched the spicy red sauce with a milder orange one on my last order, and they took the time to call me, explain, and promised extra red sauce on my next order. They clearly take pride in their product and care about delighting their customers. Well done!“

“This place is a hidden gem. Reasonably priced ($7 per sopes) for the amount of food, and still good quality. The sopes itself has an amazing texture and taste. After eating two, I was about to burst. I got the beef loin, and the chicken sopes. To be honest the chicken was mediocre for taste, and I liked the beef loin. Next time I will order the carne asada. The service is standard, but you can see the staff grinding in the food truck. Overall if I want a good cheap bite I will definitely come back here, but I would personally avoid the chicken. Update: I got the carne asada sopes, much better meat choice updating to 5 stars go get it!!“

The entire ambiance, the crew that frequents it; it is a community you want to be a part of. They have two chairs you can sit on and gulf down some tacos and be on your way. Not somewhere to sit and dine but for a quick pick me up it is highly recommended. Food quality is too notch, pickled jalapeños and zuccini and generous avocado portions with the taco orders when you ask for everything on em. Can't hype it enough! “My goto when I go to this truck is a regular steak burrito with everything, it comes out to about $11 even with chips and salsa... and it's probably the best burrito in Oakland in terms of flavor and juiciness, you can tell they spend time to add layers of flavor and this is coming from a self proclaimed burrito connoisseur. Service is nice everyone is friendly and quick waiting times and that's great for a family owned ambiance. The best way to describe the food is comfort food, it's like a home cooked meal. They really put the time into their food and I recommend the steak burrito with everything but that's just me. This in my opinion is the best burrito in Oakland and I've tried all the known taqueria's in West Oakland, downtown Oakland, Lake Merritt area“

“Arrived by car 30 minutes before closing. We had a parking spot right in front of the taco truck on the street. I found this place searching Google seafood restaurants near me! It was to my surprise that it was a taco truck! No worries, we ordered the tacos dorados. They come in a plate of four for $14. They had avocado and the best tasting shrimp combined with the crunch of the taco shell! So good. Came with red salsa that turned up the heat. The tacos were like the kind of food that you keep eating even though you are full!! I felt great after four, but honestly could have had another four! There are plastic chairs to sit down, but it's way better to take the food to go. I'm glad Google suggested this place, perhaps it was the best seafood near me!“

“When you see there is always a line of Mexican people waiting for food, you know you should check out the place. I usually get their lengua tacos, and I recently tried their California burrito, I really like the crunchy fries in it my only complaint was the portion of carne asada in it, a little stingy in my opinion. “Andy's is a solid neighborhood taco truck serving up tasty eats with friendly service. They are usually open for lunch Mon-Sat from 11am-4pm. I stopped by last Thursday and ordered at the window: 3 tacos and 1 vampiro taco with both carne asada and al pastor meats. I preferred the tacos between the two, both meats were tasty, toppings were fresh, and salsa had a nice spicy kick. My plate came with some caramelized onions, radish, chips and salsa (green and red). Service was great, everything is made to order and came out fast. Great spot for a quick lunch.“

“Stopped by this morning for a breakfast burrito and this place did NOT disappoint! $15 for great size burrito and this included the added $1.50 charge to include chorizo. Seriously one of the more flavorful breakfast burritos I've had in awhile. The Orange hot sauce was not really spicy, but great flavor and paired perfectly with the burrito. My only complaint is it's a bit on pricier side. I wished having meat option was not an additional charge but overall great burrito and I'd return!“

Once you get closer, you can see all the workers assembling sandwiches to heavy music, wiping up all the juices on their cutting board with your sandwich bread. The food is well priced well and can easily be shared if you are just looking for a light bite. Once you grab your food, there is plenty of outdoor seating nearby to enjoy your meal.“
