“I recently ordered a medium cheese pizza on. Friday night after work. This pizza shop is near my house so its very convenient. I have read all of the bad reviews but decided to try it regardless. I have to say that the pizza was great, The crust was very light and the sauce had a great flavor and the amount of cheese was perfect. Above all the price was very reasonable and the order was ready right as I walked in. The staff were very friendly and I will be back for sure. I would recommend this place to friends and I am happy that there is a good pizza spot near my home.“
“We enjoyed excellent service! Our wait staff was knowledgeable took time to explain drink options and dish ingredients. The restaurant was aware of our food allergies and made dining suggestions.Select the deviled eggs w/candied bacon, the focaccia is served w/ the tasty butter and baked garlic. The broccolini is also another must-have dish, while the Cesar salad w/ fancy anchovies is a subtle savory treat.Parking: There were only a few disabled spots near the ramp to the restaurant. The ramp was on an upward grade. Going up was fine. Going down after sitting for an hour was a slight challenge.“
“Loved it. We were just in the City for the day and it was near the appointment that brought us to town. We thought we’d take a chance and weren’t disappointed. Atmosphere was just up both our alleys. We were welcomed warmly, seated quickly, and service was amazing. My latte was perfect. Food also was terrific. We shared a crab Benedict and a Big Hip and tried so hard to finish every bite, but it was just too much. We really wanted Millionaire’s bacon, but just couldn’t manage it.“
“We ate wings here last year- best we've ever had. Crunchy, hot, amazing sauces, fast service. Went back thinking no way they are that good. We had to have been tired or really hungry or something. We knew, we were cashing the dragon. But we went again on Easter...and HOT DAMN!! BETTER than we remembered!! So rarely does food measure up across time and memory! They did not disappoint! The fry on these wings is special and spectacular!! NOT TO BE MISSED! The MVP and Lemon Honey wings- I miss them already. Great onion rings too! Plus a great jukebox.“
“Where has this place been? Nobody (well, most places) knows the struggle of wanting both sweet and savory like they do! If you feel the same, you have to stop by and order the CDMX which has chilaquiles with your choice of meat, a concha french toast with strawberries, and eggs with potatoes- all in one plate. The portion is pretty big and can probably feed two people or one very hungry person. The inside has a homey vibe and is also very clean. Service was super friendly and welcoming.“
“As soon as my husband and I walked in, the owner welcomed us with a warm smile. We both tried the cheeseburger, the fries, the chicken nuggets, and jalapeño poppers. The food was delicious and the service is excellent. We will definitely be back the next time we visit.“
“I ordered the Poke special combo earlier this week and it was delicious. It came with a serving of spicy salmon poke, rice, a pack of dried seaweed, and a bottle of water. I'm not the biggest fan of raw fish, but the poke was so chewy and flavorful with a nice balance of savory, spicy, and some sweetness. I liked that the salmon pieces were cut small, so they could soak up more of the sauce. Really good value for fresh and yummy fish!!“
“It’s my first Time in visiting San Francisco and I had a great experience trying the melt for the first time. The food was excellent and the customer service was absolutely fantastic.! Big thanks to employee who helped me with my order her name was Kat ??“
“Imagine you happened to be hungry, while casually driving your DeLorean close to 88 mph on the 280 south, about to reach Ocean Ave… and poof! You are sent straight to 1962… The rest is history.PS: their burger bun taste like a handmade bun from the old days, puffy and nicely chewy ?“
“FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN TOWN! I have absolutely NO idea why people line up outside of the crummier Thai places around here to get mediocre food loaded with MSG. Lapisara is the ABSOLUTE best, it’s so hard to find Thai this good anywhere, and this place does an extra bonus trick of being a yummy American brunch place before 2pm… much saner on the wait time for brunch and frankly more generously portioned than its famous brunch neighbor Heist. Tbh I’ve tried almost everything in this radius and now I don’t waste time going anywhere else, I get both brunch and dinner here when I come to SF.I seriously don’t understand why they don’t get more clientele. Tried so many other places in this area and nothing compares. Staff is nice too. Make this your go to instead of lining up for that tiny hole-in-the-wall a few blocks down.“
“Super good service. When only right through the door. Then the first waiter, smiling big and very welcoming, addresses us. And says that we must finally ask if there is anything we want to know or have questions about the food.We ordered 4* coke and food. We didn't like the taste of their coke (taste of chlorine) and wanted to cancel drinking. It was no problem. Got money back. And the waiter brought us bottled water instead. Without calculation.YUM a burger. Really good, tasty and juicy burgers and chicken sandwiches. So good that we had to order another burger ?Nice to see the staff laughing and having a really good atmosphere behind the counter. A place where you feel welcome to that extent. Will come again ?“
“You already know you want to go here. My review won’t change your mind. I had heard about this place for a long time. It was good but there are so many good burgers around the world so probably not worth the hype. Maybe they make really bad burger in California and so that why they stand out.“
“I’ve been living in the area for almost two years and yesterday was the first time I tried this place. I was never attracted by the facade, to be honest. But yesterday, upon looking for places to eat, I was surprised to find out that Wow Burgers had a high rating and decided to go for it.The lady who took my order—and, apparently, who made it as well—was extremely polite and nice. The food: delicious! Everything was on point. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a burger place! It is also near the muni stop and there’s plenty of parking in the area.“
“Super good diner experience in the city! Great countertop and small booths vibes, super friendly service and tasty food. I got the Irish breakfast, it was my first time trying Irish bacon and sausage, and it was super tasty. Funnily enough, it seemed like more people were getting breakfast than hamburgers here.“
“On the outside Slice House looks like a small hole-in-the-wall but the interior design is one of the best I've ever seen. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and calm. The employees treats customers and regulars like family. The food was fantastic! They dont just have pizza, but they have burgers, salads, desserts and quite a few options for sides also if u get a fountain drink you have access to unlimited refills. I went there once and now lets say im a regular.“
“I LOVE this in n out they always have amazing services and the employees are super sweet even during rush hour they maintain a positive which is pretty impressive in my opinionmy food always comes out so warm and delicious definitely recommend this location“
“Had the uni pasta, made with squid ink pasta. This dish was better than I expected. The density of the noodles was what I expected for squid ink noodles and the uni sauce was a great addition. I wish it had a bit stronger of an uni taste, but this dish was still delightful.“
“Zeitgeist is an epic dive bar whose main attraction is the outdoor beer garden which is a great setting for heavy afternoon beer consumption. The no photo rules maintains the sanctity of this watering hole that is frequented by a mix of college kids, hipsters and bikers.“
“Amazing food with options that meet different tastes.Their burgers are so tasty and their sandwiches as well.I love their packaging has a minimal use of plastic. There's an indoor seating area which is a bit noisy but outside the terrace is just perfect, good luck finding a table when it's busy! ;)“
“This place is all about the history. When you walk in you can feel the history pictures everywhere giving you the vibe that if the walls could talk which they really can because the pics have archived the history around the building. The foodIs good but it’s not about the food it’s about where you are eating the food.We had pancakes with eggs and bacon (wish the pancakes were softer or fluffier. Also a sausage patty breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese on sourdough bread. (I wish there was more meat on the sandwich)The vibeThat’s why you should come here is because you want to experience eating right of the water, reviewing all the history stored in the photographs.Wheelchair accessibility: Mostly flat surfaces no steps at all“
“Fun, casual place for meeting a group. The culinary approach is best described as comfort food, with something for every taste. I chose Lazy Dog to for a family get-together because it's close to our Foster City relatives, has easy parking, and a nice outdoor area that is dog-friendly. We all found something we liked in the menu. My husband really liked the Cuban sandwich, my older daughter loved the Kraft macaroni and cheese (nothing special, obviously, but exactly what kids tend to want), while my other daughter wanted Asian noodles, so we shared the yaki soba (which was delicious). Most importantly, my somewhat picky 92 year old grandmother, who medically needs to make sure she eats enough (but can't always bring herself to), ate her entire portion of teriyaki noodles. The lunch portion was perfect for her--she can't eat too much in one sitting. What I liked most about Lazy Dog was the service. Anthony was really great. Some of the dishes we initially tried ordering were unavailable, so he brought free dessert--sundaes for both my daughters. And they were extra fun: bowls of ice cream with little dishes of chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce, and sprinkles so the girls could make the sundaes themselves. The other staff were also attentive. When the sun got bright, they brought an umbrella, unprompted, to shade my grandmother. There's a deal right now for one small plate for $5, available all day--a bargain.“
“Came midweek for lunch, was immediately acknowledged when I walked in and sat shortly after. My server Brian was very attentive and kept a great line of communication throughout my visit as I tried the onions rings, chicken wings, and Matty’s classic burger with the brisket Chili. To top off the feast, Brian recommended the strawberry chocolate milkshake for the road back home. Overall great experience and will definitely make the drive back to Oakland from San Jose to give the rest of the menu a taste!“
“The Wes Burger is amazing. I usually get two of them, double up on the patties. The ambiance is basically a casual diner, I've never had trouble with seating, and the food comes out fast. Great place to get some grub after a few drinks in the Mission.Vegetarian options: They have veggie patties!“
“If you want a good burger, this is the place to be!Personally, this is my favorite casual burger spot! Taste like home, the burgers are great, the fries are great, the drinks are fizzy! They even have (2) veggie options and beef bacon!I can't tell you how much i love this place, and the owner is one of the friendliest people I've met! Highly recommendVegetarian options: Garden burgerBeyond burger“
“I happened to order from Roaster and Raw on what was one of the worst days I've had this year. Needless to say, they made it better. I ordered for pickup for the first time, because I've heard great things about this place. When I went outside to my car to go pick up my order, I literally saw my car being stolen in front of my face - they sped away in my car right when I walked outside of my house. Of course I freaked out and a million things need to be done NOW in these situations, so I called the police etc. It occurred to me later that I had ordered food, so I called R&R to ask them if there was any way they could switch my pickup order to a delivery order and I explained the reason why. The owner, who I spoke with, was at my door in less than 15 minutes with my order. He got to me before the police did. He told me his car was recently stolen so he knew what I was going through. I hate that I forgot your name, kind sir! There was just a lot happening at the time, but you so kindly introduced yourself and brought me my food...I was and still am beyond touched. The smallest actions and gestures go so far with me, so I'm spreading that positivity and kindness so it can keep rolling! Thank you Roasted and Raw, and the amazing young man who went above and beyond for a fellow Oakland neighbor from the good in your heart. Never forgotten. :)“
“One of the more reasonable places to eat in the touristy area. Instead of standing in line at In N Out, try the burger here. It’s a different style but it’s extremely juicy and tasty. Garlic fries too. The patio area at the back is cute and provides some shelter away from the street.“
“Met with friends at Los Feliz golf course. We came into Morrison for a quick bite and a beer. We are so happy we came in. We come to this place a lot because it's the best pub in Los Angeles. I had the spicy chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. We worked with the amazing Danielle. She was super attentive and is one of the best servers I've ever had. We had Don Julio 1942 for 10$ a shot!! Thank you so much, we will be back soon!“
“Wow! This burger was delicious and I can't believe I've never been here before! The piggy jack was your basic burger with bacon and all your typical toppings but everything complemented each other. The patty was seasoned well and juicy and the burger was quite big. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and they were seasoned!! I have no complaints at all and the pricing is reasonable. I definitely recommend trying out their burgers.“
“Come for the ice cream, but consider the burger too.All of it is pretty thick and creamy. Great portioning. Surprisingly, the calamansi is my fave. It's for THE REAL calamansi lovers, a love for sour is required. But it's the most accurate calamansi ice cream I've ever had. Toasted sesame is awesome- like a sesame ball in an ice cream. Lemon blueberry swirl - all yum. more blueberry preferred. Strawberry poptart - fairly accurate. Pretty goodNow about that burger - solid. It's got all the ingredients to make one of my fave burgers - mustard grilled pattie, extra pickles, lots of onions, and a super soft bun. but it was too strong on the mustard, and the bread doesn't taste like it was cooking with the burger on the grill. A little toasty would've gone a long way“
“Hannah and Alex own and operate their own cozy cafe here at Nib’s. Alex is cooking up a ‘Nib’s Special Omelette’ for me. He wears a cap that says “Im Alex, doing Alex things.” And clearly Hannah knows what she’s doing here in this clean, comfortable, well-managed establishment. And here’s the omelette now…. NOICE!“
“Nice to finally find a place to eat real and excellent food in SF as most places up the Pier areas are just fried fried and fried with obligatory French fries. One of us had the salmon which was gorgeous but the chicken pot pie was a revelation with loads of meat and veg with a creamy sort of stroganoff sauce and thin buttery top crust. Given that we had paid paid more for a burger in LA airport on the way to SF having a lovely meal for less was excellent. If you are near the Marina or Fillmore Street area please check it out. Nicest food I have had after 12 days in SF and Los Angeles.“
“Excellent service with an awesome variety of burgers for everyone! Everything was delicious and affordable!Vegetarian options: Yes, lots of veggie options!Kid-friendliness: The kids loved the grilled cheese even when it was on a hamburger bun“
“My girlfriend and I were here today and each had a burger with fries, it was very, very goodThey burger pettys are fried the way you want them raw medium or well doneThe best burger in town and the fries were also greatYou can watch the food being preparedI'd rather go back“
“The biscuits and gravy...outstanding. Great Service and a view of the bay. We love the food. Great breakfast and lunch. Everything we have eaten is terrific.Parking: Parked on the street. Been there many times and we always find parking“
“Battling a serious case of the Mondays and the post St. Paddy's day blues, I had been craving a burger for hours when I remembered I get to pass this San Francisco staple on the walk home. Sam, his son, and the chef's have been grilling up American style cheese burgers over a flame grill in this hole in the wall for nearly 60 years. Their classic recipe is the epitome of if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Served on a paper plate with all the fixins, this not a fancy grommet-style meal, and there's no secret ingredient that keeps people coming back for more. It's the back to basics deliciousness paired with the old style feel of diners of the past. Staffed by only one or two people at a time, they're flipping burgers and making them consistently amazing and quick. Sam's hit the spot and 100% satiated my craving. They're open late on the weekends, so I'm looking forward to popping in again soon to round off a night out.“
“Okay I only stopped in a few shots and a couple glasses of wine deep for a slice of pizza late night but honestly that slice hit so hard, delicious with a nice oily gristle to it and the perfect size to fold in half and go to town. The guys working here were friendly too. Thanks “
“Chez Maman EastHospitality - 4/5Selection - 4/5Quality of Food - 4/5Overall - 4/5Had a quick round table in the city, and asked the local’s where a great spot was for a nice meal. Chez Maman East was the answer and they did not disappoint. My colleague and I were welcomed in and seated right away. It was early, so they weren’t too busy. The waiter was quick to serve us and was very informative. Even suggested a few items they were known for. My colleague took his suggestion and got the Sole. He was very happy he took the suggestion. It was cooked beautifully and had great flavor. To the point he licked the plate clean!I chose the bell pepper soup and their famous burger. The soup was delightful and fit perfect on this rainy day. The burger was everything everyone had told me. The burger was cooked correctly, juicy, and tender. The add-ons were just icing on the cake.If we were to suggest anything to the restaurant to improve on, it would be have fresh bread. The baguette we ordered was dry and like chewing leather. Went great with the soup, but by itself was not enjoyable.Overall, we would return to try the rest of the menu.Parking: Just your standard street parking. Might have to walk a little once you park.“
“Sunday brunch was epic. Get the Americana burger (one of the best in SF) with roasted onions and crispy onions on the side. Also get the toasted French toast and the banana cake with mascarpone and chocolate. Servers very helpful, vibrant vibe, nice crowds. Highly recommended. Parking can be tricky but you’ll probably find something if your circle for 5 mins or so.Parking: Parking can be tricky but you’ll probably find something if your circle for 5 mins or so.“
“Delicious pizza. I got the Brotherly Love and I was impressed. I called in my order and arrived 15 minutes after. Plenty of parking. Clean spot. Will be back to try other things on the menu.Parking: More than 10 spotsWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“We had dinner there tonight (3/14/24) for the first time and we will be back. They are two of the most interesting and truly delicious sandwiches we have ever eaten. I can't remember what mine was called, but it had chicken (roasted perfectly), sauerkraut, cheese and other awesome stuff on a grilled rye bread that was excellent. My bride had the turkey sandwich and loved it. But the star of the show were the Tater Tots. Perfectly crisp with BBQ sauce to dip them in and then into some wonderful real bacon bits. Every tot stayed crisp from the first to the last. The meal was worth every penny and more. Get into the Alameda location and try it. You won't be sorry. PS: The only bad part for me is that we live in Seattle and won't be back down until May. But you can bet I will be eating here then.“
“I have lived in San Bruno 30 years. And just the other day discovered "Big Joe's" restaurant at 487 San Mateo Ave. Apparently, they have been there forever. What an amazing culinary discovery ! Tucked away among the local stores is this inconspicuous gem. American cuisine at is very best. Portions are generous. Quality is five stars. Try their burgers and steaks ! Breakfast OMG. The open kitchen is another plus. Service and cleanliness is top notch too. don't let the unexciting appearance discourage you. This place is 5 stars.“
“First off Lamar greeted us with open arms ? he took our order perfectly. It’s a full house right now. We scout table just leaving and make our way to it. Out of nowhere Fernando comes to ask to clean the table before we sit, what a savior ? top tier customer service tonight - love you Alameda in-n-out“
“Was walking home and needed to have a late night dinner. This place was conveniently placed on my way back to Richmond. I ordered the bullseye burger and it really hit the spot. The portion was on point. Lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapeño, beef bacon, and a perfectly cooked, juicy halal beef patty on a substantial and voluminous bun. The best part was that the burger was accompanied by a generous heaping pile of shoestring fries :) I’m also glad I ordered the honey garlic wings to go. I was surprised by how meaty they were… I can’t wait to try all of the other halal items on the menu at this hidden gem ?Dietary restrictions: Halal“
“Been to San Francisco a couple of times now, and it kinda hurt that it took me that long to realize there's this nice little spot just a block from our hotel. Perfect way to end a crazy week in good company, with cold drinks and great food! Already looking forward to hanging out there next year :)“
“This is a solid bar with amazing wings and a delicious burger and fries! I ordered all of that just for myself and of course couldn’t finish it all. I had tasty leftovers the next day. Service was good and the bar was fairly empty on a Wednesday evening around 6 pm.“
“I’ve been frequenting Richmond Republic since the week it opened and I’m not sure I’d live here if it didn’t exist. There’s a great rotating beer selection and the food is delicious. I especially like the burgers and salads, and the fries and tots are cooked to perfection. I love all the bartenders, especially the Tuesday crew. Make sure to get an Underberg before heading home!“
“My husband got the Chop pastrami salad, which is always good and this time I got the shrimp tacos. Perfect amount and should've asked for some spicy sauce or jalapeños because it could've used a little kick. All in although, service was great what else can you ask for!?“
“While visiting San Francisco I wanted to get a quick meal before arriving to the hotel. I called Goodfella's and they took my order quickly. I ordered a pizza and wings. The pizza was great tasting, but what really took the prize for me was the wings! Has to be one of the best wings I've ever had! They were well breaded, and had a lot of meat. If you're ever in town, definitely give them a visit!“
“The restaurant is well located and it has both open and interior areas. The stuff was so gentle. They made me feeling home, either no pressure or negative vibes.Coming to food I believe its quality is way above the average. I ordered an hamburger, a super testy creme brûlée, a nice Nutella crepe and an affogato (unlikely offered by similar restaurants).Go check it out.Highly recommended!Mercieeee“
“We LOVE Julie's Deli Brisbane. Terrific friendly service, and the most delicious mouth-watering Ruben Sandwich we've ever experienced. I highly recommend Julie's deli and we also love their Dad's Old Fashioned Caffeine Free Root Beer! Yum Yum Yum! Julie's Brisbane deli is located in a Hallmark-esque charming town nestled just outside of San Francisco.“
