“I had the albacore sushi, snow crab truffle sushi, salmon yuzu truffle carpaccio and the truffle edamame. The albacore had something spicy on it that wasn't mentioned on the menu so unfortunately I couldn't eat it. The carpaccio was good though, as was the snow crab, and the truffle oil on the edamame was mild. The service was great.“

“We tried Oku-Niku Japanese BBQ and went with their top unlimited option, and it was definitely worth it! There was a great variety of meats and sides to choose from, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. I loved being able to cook everything right at the table and try a little bit of everything. The portions and selection kept us more than satisfied, and there were plenty of options to keep the meal interesting.

If you’re a fan of Japanese BBQ and like having lots of choices, the top unlimited option is the way to go. We left completely full and very happy with our experience. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!“

“I just went to eat here for lunch on a Saturday to have sushi and I had the best experience. The food was great and the servers were very nice especially a really nice girl named Julia she made my dining experience so much better she was very nice and very attentive when serving she brought me water napkins and I didn’t even have to ask for anything. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi. The food is outstanding and the service is second to none. It’s my favorite restaurant to eat at.“

“My wife and I came for the happy hour and really enjoyed it. And using their happy hour, we wonder why people go to buffet restaurants. I am a big eater - and I was well fed with a bill - after taxes and before tipp of $54 for the two of us. Including two beers. Of course, it is not the Nobu - but I bet you agree that is not what one would expect from this place. The service was good - and the ambiance a tad worn. I guess I'd rather dine at the Pasadena location - just because the ambiance is more appealing. Other than that: if you have cravings for sushi and money is an issue, the happy hour (even on weekends!) is a fantastic deal.“

“Yes, it’s that damn good.

I’ve had a lot of ramen in several different places, but something about Kopan Ramen makes it, for me, the best of the bunch. Now, taste is subjective and I’m sure some of you may think other ramen spots are better. For me, Kopan Ramen is THE BEST. Full stop. The decore is Japanese specific and it has a cozy atmosphere. Servers are competent and more often than not, food arrives fairly quickly. But it’s their soup that makes Kopan Ramen absolutely gold-tier. From the irresistible broth, to their soft boiled eggs, to the ramen itself, everything is firing on all cylinders and it makes you want to come back over and over. I do not think there will ever be another ramen restaurant that can top Kopan Ramen and that is why I give it full stars, a rarity in my reviews.

“Wanted sushi before heading back home from Universal Studios was tired of 2 days park food. Found this place thru Yelp and it didn’t disappoint. We loved the fresh Uni, Chu Toro, & Monk Fish Liver nigiris. Everything was good! A very expensive lunch but was worth it ❤️👍🏼. Very attentive staff too.“

“This was unexpectedly phenomenal. I’ve driven past here for years never noticing it tucked away. So glad we went. The woman working the register who I think may be the owner was so nice and the food was the best meal I’ve had in a while. The spicy pork teriyaki was insane. My gf’s chicken was phenomenal. “The sushi here is very good quality and super fresh. The ordering system is a bit bizarre - they hand you a menu and an expo marker and ask you to circle what you want. The interactions with the staff were brief and curt, but the food came out in a very timely manner. Definitely would come again. I really liked my Marilyn Mon Roll!“

“Not Burbank locations fault!!! Definitely a corporate issue so tried not to cause their star rating to suffer. All kinds of money back and free offers on app but kept asking for credit card info over and over. I want to use a digital payment like Apple Pay etc but would not let me. Did to feel more secure when ordering.“

“They have good food. Can be busy at times. Sunday does not have the same staff and sometimes can't handle a rush.
Lots of variations to choose from. My favorite is the beef bowl. They have good burgers and also variations of charbroiled chicken and other items added to burgers.
Worth a visit for lunch or dinner.“

“The food was great, service was great . however one of the workers up front was causing a disturbance while I was ordering my food , not professional AT ALL I asked if everything was ok and cashier just apologized. Even thought the cashier apologized I still find it unacceptable that this altercation even happened in the first place. It was really embarrassing to watch and I hope that no ones is fired or blamed but hope that the co workers of the older lady can help try and be more polite.“

“Visiting Burbank for the first time with my sister, we decided to try Silverlake Ramen, and we’re glad we did!

As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and given the option of where we’d like to sit. The restaurant has a cute, relaxed atmosphere that made us feel comfortable right away.

We both ordered the ramen combo. I had the Classic Ramen with fried gyoza, and my sister ordered the Classic Ramen with a pork bun. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and really hit the spot. The staff also checked on us throughout our meal, which made the experience even better.

Overall, we really enjoyed both the food and the service. We’d definitely come back the next time we’re in the area!“
