Ruby took great care of me, had great recs. Really fantastic choices on the tap list, and had a jalapeño slaw fish, ribeye, pork belly. Each unique and exploding with flavor. Asked for hot sauce with the order then never touched it…that may be a first. Met the owner, and 2 other employees…great people.

“Came for the Frenchicano Toast, stayed for the 80s-00s music throwback. As a millennial, I grew up with my parents Latin music. As I enjoyed the passion fruit whipped cream literally melting into the brioche bread, I was surprised to hear the legendary playlist featuring major pop singers of the Gen X era. Eye catching memorabilia on the walls and counters will keep you busy as you remember big names from TV, movies, cartoons, books and general entertainment.
I will be back to try some of their other palette intriguing items such as three Huitlacoche (hard to find anywhere) and borrego.

Street parking. Came for brunch so there was plenty but I'm sure that in their peak hours it might be harder to find. But its perfect for a date night or stroll as enjoyment should never be rushed.“

“My friends and I are only in LA for a few days, and randomly stopped here on my way to the airport. I am SO glad that this was the stop we made. The food was delicious! I am a person who almost never finishes my food, but I finished my food and wanted to order more, though I was no longer hungry, because it was delicious. To top it off, the gentleman working was probably one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. I’m also not typically impressed with “service friendly” people, because it never seems genuine (as a person who has done a lot of customer service in my life, no judgment), but he seemed like he really enjoyed his job, and people. He was very charming. 10/10 experience. I’m sad that I don’t live here, because this would be my go-to taco place.“

“This place is somewhat hidden off San Fernando Rd, and parking can be a headache. It gets busy from opening till closing, and for a good reason. I ordered their Ceviche Candelejas and their Asada Burrito Mojado with salsa Verde, and it was delicious. Good flavor, a generous amount of meat in the burrito, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend this place.“

“I was in town for work and went to Taco Azteca because of the high rating and it was open later than most of the other restaurants around my hotel. I was immediately frustrated walking in because the menu is so not helpful. No prices on it and it's incomplete. You have to look at the dozen other signs on the walls to figure out what they sell and how much some things are. So i was skeptical going in. But my God, their steak tacos are some of the best i have ever had. Such good, rich adobo-like flavor. So delicious. They really need to update their menu, especially for visitors like me who've never been to Taco Azteca before, but i will definitely eat here again next time I'm in the area, despite my frustrations with their menu“

“I’ve been coming to El Tapatio for over 10 years, and it’s still my favorite spot for a carne asada burrito. Even after moving farther away, I still make the trip because it’s that good. The red salsa is absolutely addicting, the food is always consistent, and the staff are some of the friendliest people around. If you’re in the area, give them a try—you won’t be disappointed.“

“Best place in town. Most friendly staff. I live nearby and this place has certainly become pur regular. Bartenders are attentive and nice. Cheap Margaritas and 2 shots on mondays for happy hour. I left my expensive glasses and got them back. The crowd that comes is usually laid back and down to earth. Good times per usual when you come to this bar“

They completed the order on time, handled the situation with professionalism and grace, and ensured everything was delivered as promised.My order was for extremely important meeting, and given the unforeseen kitchen malfunction, they would have been justified in canceling or delaying the order. “Great Taqueria and Restaurant. Service was excellent, attentive and friendly. Our meals were excellent. Their salsas are delicious and fresh. One salsa is more spicy and both are rich in flavors. Our party of three had one Carnitas and two Pescado Frito Entero. All dishes were very good. Portions are large and we ended up with Togo boxes for later. We wanted to try the Ceviche but already had more food than we could eat. We will definitely have the Ceviche next time... And there will be a next time...“

“This place is part of Veggie Grill, but Veggie Grill won't take your order. You have to order online. You're free to eat in Veggie Grill's outdoor seating area. They don't have an app. Ordering complications aside, the food is good and portions are large. For example, you can order six tacos. That will fill you up!“

“I tried the shrimp and fish tacos. They were decent, but honestly overpriced for what they are. The staff was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the patio is a nice place to sit. However, inside the restaurant it was hard to breathe because of the strong smell of fried oil, like the ventilation was not working well.

Parking can also be difficult, although there are paid parking options nearby. The tacos were okay, but the fish was too soft and covered in batter, so I couldn’t really taste the fish itself. The vegetables were fresh and nicely cut, and the sauces were good, but there were no extra toppings or salsa station like in many other Mexican taco spots.

Overall, it’s not a bad place, but for the price, I personally would not come back for these tacos.“

“This is my FAVORITE place to get Mexican food in all of Los Angeles. The super taco plate with chicken is always my go to, but I've never gotten anything bad there. All of their salsas are incredible, so I recommend dining in so you can try them. It's my family's favorite place to go when they're in town! I gave four stars for Atmosphere because they don't have bathrooms and sometimes you need to ask for the table(s) to be wiped down.“
