“I was shopping all day and was famished. I wanted to keep shopping so I decided to get something that I could walk around with. All over the Hollywood shopping complex, there were pictures of these taquitos in a cup with guacamole so I had to check them out.I went over Tacos Neza which is tucked in the corner of the mall. It was closing time but the staff was super nice and still served me. I told them I wanted to walk and eat and they said this taquito dish would be good for me.Even though the place was closing people were still coming to enjoy the food and ambiance. I walked throughout the shops with my taquitos which were a little too crunchy for my taste but still good and the guacamole was delicious. I will definitely be back here next time I'm shopping. See for yourself.“

Accompanying friends who have been long time patrons of Damian served as personal tour guides through the labyrinth of menu selections that culminated in one of the most memorable meals I have ever had as a native Angelino. What makes Damian so remarkable is the layers of flavors that appear in every dish and the surprising combinations of ingredients that while seemingly so disparate, create a fusion of flavors that one wouldn't think possible in one cuisine. The service is impeccable and the environment relaxing, intimate and simply world class.“

“This was my first Michelin star restaurant that I have experienced that I heard about from Tik Tok. It lived up to the hype. I recommend going early or after lunch as it packed during lunch time. The line is out the door. The food is delicious and I would recommend to any seafood lover. The prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food in each dish. If you are the the downtown area it definitely a must try. It right next door to the DMV so it not a lot of parking so you have to drive around to a spot open up if you go during lunch time. It is loud in there as it is a food hall with about 6 other restaurants in the same building. It is still a good experience and worth giving a try.“

“After visiting Hijo de su Madre several times for their award winning and phenomenal Yucetecan vegan greatness I was quite excited when I saw on their IG they were adding a vegan burger menu. It just launched a few days ago, but is already my favorite burger (got the Phat Hass Burger) in LA and I have had them all. Even more profoundly, they have the best loaded frots I’ve ever had by a landslide! Run don’t walk to try the new menu (will be on the delivery apps soon!) and then keep coming back because everything on the menu is perfection. 5 stars!!!“
“Corn Man is my go-to spot in LA for satisfying late-night cravings with absolutely delicious corn on the cob. However, the surrounding neighborhood can be a bit sketchy, making it feel unsafe to hang around waiting for your order since there's only one corn man working.Despite encountering a few arguments with random passersby staring at me, the corn here is undeniably tasty and a definite must-try for those late-night munchies.“

“I was blown away by Sonoratown. Everything we got there was incredible, especially the steak tacos, juicy with an incredible smoky flavor from the grill and the salsa. On that note, their salsa deserves a special shoutout. I had the pleasure of walking in just as a fresh batch of red salsa was made. Everyone working there was so excited about how good it came out, laughing and dancing around, and their excitement and enthusiasm was infectious. I could feel what a good working environment it was, and how much passion they put into their food. Please do yourself a favor and give Sonoratown a try.“
“Best fish tacos on the east side. Could eat them once a week. Made to order from a taco truck so sometimes you have to wait a bit. Wish they were there later but great for an early dinner or lunch. My favorite is the recommended shrimp and cheese one and soft shell crab“
“Loreto is currently my favorite restaurant. I don’t even consider myself a seafood person but wow, every dish they have brings me closer to it. Drinks, food, desserts, and service are all impeccable. Tonight we got to do the omakase which was so unique and a really amazing experience. All the dishes were creatively thought out with seasonal ingredients in mind. I’ll definitely be coming back in the summer for their next one!!“

“OMG! These are the best tacos I’ve had. I had a taco de carnitas with cilantro, onion and green salsa. They had other topping like nopales, guacamole, and three different salsas. The meat was flavorful and the corn tortillas were made from scratch. I am from the Bay Area visiting family- I will definitely return and tell my family back home.“

“Worth the drive all the way from Vegas. We found out this place from youtube and social medias.Decided to have a food day trip from Vegas and this was one of the stops.These pork tacos are Fire!! “Family owned and operated truck located in Boyle Heights / East LA area that specializes in tacos arabes and goodies from Puebla in general. The tacos arabes were a result of Lebanese immigrants to the area and boy are they delicious. I came here later on a Thursday night so it wasn't very busy and it was pretty chill. Just a few other people around me. The folks here were friendly and helpful. I ordered:A taco arabe especiale- their signature taco with their marinated roast pork on this soft flower tortilla. This was topped Oaxacan cheese and slices of avocado (especiale). There was this chipotle sauce on top of everything. The sauce added some smokiness to an already great flavor and texture profile. I really liked that flour tortilla. Quesadilla de flor de calabaza - zucchini blossoms with melted Oaxacan cheese inside a blue corn tortilla. Love corn and I love this. Nice and chewy with earthy and slightly sweet flavors to go along with their delicious salsaDefinitely recommend for tacos/ quesadillas etc etc or if you are just in the mood for something a little different.“

My family ordered a little bit of everything - the gotta has a chipotle sauce which brings together the flavors perfectly. The menudo was authentic and they bring out all the condiments. The lomo saltado and tallarín was perfect. The serve is fast and friendly as if you're eating with family. Everyone here takes great pride in what they serve. Worth driving to even if you're not shopping the alleys.“

This has an elevated or more modern vibe compared to other "traditional" Mexican restaurants with familiar menu items (tacos, chips&guac, street corn) but several premium items (tomahawk steak, lobster bomba rice) or unique options (jimca salad, shrimp chile) as well. I like the small plates and tacos but also appreciate the large plates for dinner. They also have mocktails which are fantastic- we had spicy passionfruit. Other than being small gourmet playhouse looking portions it was good. It was more once in a lifetime kinda meal not beefy hearty get full go to work filling kinda meal.
