“Grand Harbor Seafood and Dimsum Restaurant offers an authentic dining experience with a wide variety of fresh seafood and delectable dim sum options. The ambiance is welcoming, and the service is attentive, making it a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts!“
“Was there while they were hosting a wedding party. Somehow still have very great and attentive service. My GF is vegan, and the staff was helpful in making sure she had some options, ever adjusting the wagyu chowmain dish I ordered so that she could enjoy it (meat on the side).Veggies were amazing. Very different flavors. We had the string beans and the coli flower.Tea was great. The star or the night were their sipping sauces. They say they make them all in house. Cilantro sauce was the best, but they also have coconut + ginger, soy sauce, and of course chili oil.Dim sum was great as well.Ambiance was nice also.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies clearly labeled vegetarian. I believe most of their vegetarian dishes are actually vegan as well. Great flavor. They also are willing to adjust dishes to fit dietary restrictions.“
“Delicious Taiwanese food! The crab soup dumpling is very fresh and the wrapper is nice and thin. The deep fried chicken was also so good and reminded me of Taiwan. The broccoli was disappointing because it wasn’t what I was expecting though.“
“Used to come here during it's prime. Unfortunately a lot had changed. It used to be the best dim sum in the Bay Area, but now it's average and the menu has reduced. However, the food is not bad, it's just not the same as before.“
“The service is amazing! We accidentally ordered the wrong beef dish and they replaced it with no problem. The place is very large and we were able to store my kids scooter next to our table. Also love that it's very kid friendly- We normally get the q buns, soup dumplings, spicy beef roll and pot stickers for the kiddo“
“Great place for dim sum! Another MUST-EAT-AT place for tourists and a GO-TO for SF natives. Dining room is typical modern Chinese, but it has a second floor loft that's perfect for weddings, red egg ginger parties, etc. Love their mini-egg tarts! Service is excellent! Their service staff work really hard so please be kind and tip!“
“The restaurant’s ambiance is casual, making it suitable for both family gatherings and solo dining. Plus, they have free parking.Think neon nights, salsa seats, and chefs doing the cha-cha in the open kitchen.Pot Combos (Simmer Huang’s Cuisine): Gather your food-loving friends and indulge in a simmering pot of goodness. Meats, veggies, and spices come together for a flavor fiesta.Utensil for dining is plastic like Togo fork and spoon.“
“The crispy BBQ pork ? with the skin was so good! It was crispy on the outside and tender & juicy on the inside. The whole fried chicken ? was good. Service was fast. A lot of free parking in the lot.Parking: A lot of parking in the free lot, adjacent to the building.“
“Wonderful food especially the stir fried beef dishes! The drawback is the service time which takes over 30 mins for our meal to come. Ambiance and atmosphere are noisy and loud like any other dim sum restaurant on a weekday evening. Great food if you wish to wait for over half an hour to be served.Kid-friendliness: Parking is a challenge but if you go early you can find a spot on the streets.“
“The old cashier by the counter was told an order of "sweet and sour soup" and she repeated it as "sweet and sour pork". Assuming the sweet and sour soup had pork in it, okay, agreed with that order. When the order arrived, it was sweet and sour pork with rice and veggies which is $10, INSTEAD of soup.Asked her to replace it, she said add $2. The old lady behind the counter pulled out VEGETABLE SOUP!!! After that, asked her to give the correct item which is sweet and sour soup she said that's an additional $9. It was her error in taking down the order. She said, give back the prior order which is sweet and sour pork with rice and she'll give the sweet and sour soup. She gave the sweet and sour soup and pocketed the $3 (it's been $2 added for the soup, along with the prior $10 paid for the sweet and sour pork and rice). The sweet and sour pork with rice is $10 which she took back, she took that back.Gave a run around just to order sweet and sour soup, and she pocketed $3. She was given gratuity of $5 before that. She still gave that run around just to pocket an extra $3.“
“I got married here. My third wedding in 2 years. There must be something horrible going on with me that I'm on my third wedding already. Anyway. I had a good time. Shout out to Christy? For her attentiveness to everything we needed. Nice lady. We're from the same village. Good food. Ambiance is 10/10. Fun times.“
“Hongry Kong catered for a mid autumn moon festival yesterday and really brought their A-game. Don't let the food truck fool you. They deliver top-notch dim sum (Ha gau, Siu Mai, egg tarts, veggie egg rolls) at a reasonable price , and the General Tso's chicken rice bowl is pretty dang good. Egg tarts run out fast at $2 each. Service is friendly and convenient. There's everything for the whole family. Great drink selection as well. Don't forget to try the HK style milk tea!“
“Went for lunch on Sunday at 1pm after it was recommended by a friend for having good dimsum. We thought there would be a wait but there were a few open tables so we were seated immediately. The service was attentive and the food came quickly. Go for the food, not the ambiance. The menu isn't as extensive than a dimsum restaurant, but we appreciated the variety. Our favorites: * String beans - crisp and flavorful!* passion fruit aloe green tea - refreshing! * pork belly with charcoal buns - my son who loves Peking duck said that he would rather get these now. Not sure if the charcoal buns are supposed to taste different than normal bao - they tasted the same to us. * braised beef noodle soup with wontons - delicious shrimp wontons and a very beefy broth. * pan fried soup dumplings - tasty filling and lots of soup to slurp up. Next time we would skip: * cucumbers - too vinegary. Seems like they may have accidentally poured too much vinegar in our serving. At least that's my hope. * beef kimcheese rice - more tomatoey than kimchee flavored. * XLB trio - couldn't really tasty the truffle flavor. I wish we could order just the crab ones. The others weren't that amazing.“
“One of the best place for dim sum in the Bay Area, their price is a little higher than others in the area. But the quality is above and beyond all the nearby dim sum places including Koi Place in Daly City.Below is the dinner banquet that I went to.“
