“Very extensive menu of dim sum during lunch hours, and standard "luxury" Chinese food at night. Usually quite a few daily specials as well. Food always seems to come out quite fresh. The space is absolutely massive, which means there's rarely too long of a wait no matter the party size (note that if you are a party of 2, you might need to share a table with another couple).“
“I got married here. My third wedding in 2 years. There must be something horrible going on with me that I'm on my third wedding already. Anyway. I had a good time. Shout out to Christy? For her attentiveness to everything we needed. Nice lady. We're from the same village. Good food. Ambiance is 10/10. Fun times.“
“You have to come and try this restaurant in South San Francisco that mimics an Asian night market! There is so much food to choose from plus you get a free jasmine tea with Yelp check in!The food here was delicious. Good hearty Chinese comfort food. My favorite was probably the fried chicken skin that were perfectly crispy and the soft egg on the delicious beef over rice. The chicken skin had a fine covering of salted egg that added the salty punch to the fattiness of the skin. The soup noodles were classic Chinese soup noodles and you could add whatever toppings you preferred, nothing crazy unique, but perfect on a cold and foggy day. The lightly roasted with salt skewers were fun to try and cheap to boot. Would want to try more different meats than just the intestine.I would love to come back to try all the other options too. Bring a ton of friends so you can try more! The vibe tries to match that sitting on a plastic stool while watching street vendors cook scene at night markets. I enjoyed watching them put together my soup noodles but would love to see them cook more items out in the open. I'm hoping this post helps to bring them more business so they can afford to have more workers cooking out front!“
“The food turned out good even though the wait was a little long. They have good dim sum. The place is on the pricey side for Chinese food. The service was sort of friendly depending on which server you get. The ambiance is casual with a classy feel inside as they have renovated the place. It can get busy for dim sum but dinner time seems to be at a steady pace on the weekends.“
“Excellent service! Recommend Peking Duck, whole crab with vermicelli & prime steak with mushrooms. Excellent veggie (Yu Chou) stir fried with garlic cloves. Food was well seasoned but not salty nor greasy. Small'ish dining room so reservations are a must“
“One of the best dumplings I've tried! The line on weekends lunch wasn't too bad, it was about 30min ish. Everything was just on point! I was shocked to see the XLB to be see through but yet it wouldn't break. My favorite was the mala spicy XLB, the soup was delicious with just a little bit of a kick of the numbing spicy flavor! The spicy red chili dumpling was filled with the nutty flavor of peanut with just a dap of chili oil for the fragrance. Hands down one of the best dumpling places that I wouldn't mind waiting in line for~“
“Wow. I'm blown away by the impressive and refined taste of the dishes here. It exceeded my expectations, and it is now my go-to Chinese dumpling restaurant. The xiao long bao was very juicy and satisfying, and the tendor/firm vegetables were clearly cooked by a master wok chef.“
“Amazing food and service at a great price point! This is my go-to neighborhood spot. I’ve ordered take-out 10+ times and have also dined in many times. The staff are quick and very friendly - and the food is delicious!! Highly recommend the Shanghai rice cakes, sautéed pea shoots, general chicken, and twice cooked pork.“
“This place offers a wide variety of dumplings, including rarer finds like fantuan, and other hot dishes at affordable prices in a conveniently located area of Sunset. The interior is small with only a few tables, but it's a cozy spot to enjoy a meal or pop in for takeout. They accept credit card but charge a 4% fee for dine-in, which is understandable. I'm really happy I found this spot and will probably return often.“
“Great place for dim sum! Another MUST-EAT-AT place for tourists and a GO-TO for SF natives. Dining room is typical modern Chinese, but it has a second floor loft that's perfect for weddings, red egg ginger parties, etc. Love their mini-egg tarts! Service is excellent! Their service staff work really hard so please be kind and tip!“
