“The restaurant’s ambiance is casual, making it suitable for both family gatherings and solo dining. Plus, they have free parking.Think neon nights, salsa seats, and chefs doing the cha-cha in the open kitchen.Pot Combos (Simmer Huang’s Cuisine): Gather your food-loving friends and indulge in a simmering pot of goodness. Meats, veggies, and spices come together for a flavor fiesta.Utensil for dining is plastic like Togo fork and spoon.“
“Our party had the set menu. The food was of good potions for a party of ten. The dishes came over piping hot and quite tasty and satisfying. As with any good Canto seafood resturants, very little food was left over at the end of the meal. Food rated at 4.4, service rated at 4.5.“
“Reliable dim sum restaurant in Westlake. At this spot, you can simply order your items from a menu rather than wait for servers to come around to your table. I do prefer the traditional serving experience, but it's great getting all the items you're craving without having to wait! Definitely try new items to take advantage of the ordering system.“
“We just finished dinner a party of three for dinner. Great service, the waiter separated dishes personally. The food was seasoned perfectly. The portion size was very large. So for some of the complaints there is wheel chair access just down from the main entrance. There is a sighn out front stating this. There are NO cockroaches, restrooms are clean and well stocked. We will be back and we live two hrs away.“
“Easy to find parking (part of the nearby mall so we parked in the big lot there). We ordered the taro clam clay pot and steamed garlic eggplant. The eggplant is AMAZING!! Even my two-year old daughter who rarely eats veggie likes it. The clay pot is not bad either. They also have lots of great seafood options. Will def come back.Somewhat children friendly. (Clean high chair, TV, enough space). I don't remember if they have a changing table or not. Overall the food is amazing! They have a pond with lots of goldfish which kept my little one entertained.“
“Dim Sum King (know as DSK :) ) is one of the best dim sum restaurants in the bay area. The service is fast and they are very nice! The restaurant feels open and is very clean. One recommendation is to order the fried shrimp ball - see photo. It is one of the best items on the menu.“
“Excellent service! Recommend Peking Duck, whole crab with vermicelli & prime steak with mushrooms. Excellent veggie (Yu Chou) stir fried with garlic cloves. Food was well seasoned but not salty nor greasy. Small'ish dining room so reservations are a must“
“One of the best dumplings I've tried! The line on weekends lunch wasn't too bad, it was about 30min ish. Everything was just on point! I was shocked to see the XLB to be see through but yet it wouldn't break. My favorite was the mala spicy XLB, the soup was delicious with just a little bit of a kick of the numbing spicy flavor! The spicy red chili dumpling was filled with the nutty flavor of peanut with just a dap of chili oil for the fragrance. Hands down one of the best dumpling places that I wouldn't mind waiting in line for~“
“The food was so fresh, well cooked & deliciously flavored. I grew up here and have tried many Chinese & dim sum restaurants, but this one truly impressed me. The restaurant is tucked away and easy to miss, but you don’t want to. It’s excellent. What we ordered:—Stir fried green beans—Shrimp pork and chives potstickers—Vegetable chow mein—Har gow (shrimp dumplings)My 5 year old loved the shrimp dumplings so much she made us order a second serving and said, “these are the BEST I’ve ever had!”“
“The food was fresh and delicious. We were able to make a reservation, although getting there at opening meant it wasn't busy, but it filled up. Service was fairly attentive though a few dishes took a long time to get to us. Definitely the spot to hit in the Bay area for dim sum.“
