I couldn't pass up that deal, I got other unbeatable deals on the cereals too. The best part of that store is they have great ice cream bar.“

“Four of us each had two scoops so we tried 8 different flavors. We all thought the pomegranate pistachio was the best of our selections. Overall they were all good. The texture was different but it didn’t bother anyone in my group. The pricing was what I’d expect this close to the beach and the facility was clean and the staff pleasant.“

“My most favorite ice cream place in San Diego. They have good flavours of ice cream with the correct amount of sweetness. Also, the quantity is decent. Some of the recommended flavors are Amaretto, Opera, Sea Salt Caramel, Pistachio, and Toffee Crunch. It is located perfectly about 3 blocks from encinitas Beach. Love the cafe seating area, inside and out. More space on the outside. It is filled with people always. But they give a quick service, you'll take more time to decide the flavours than the time you spend in line to wait. It would be nice if they have a board outside with flavours of the day, so that we need not have to hurry while ordering. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to add a memory to their beach experience. “We're visiting and staying in the vicinity of Carlsbad. While checking out local restaurants and bakeries on Yelp, as I am wont to do, I happened upon Dolce Aroma. The fact that it is an Italian bakery, in addition to the many good reviews, caught my attention. While here we're celebrating my brother-in-law's birthday. On the bakery menu I noted they offer a flourless chocolate cake. When well prepared this is an outstanding dessert. The Torta Al Cioccolato from Dolce Amora is SO DELICIOUS! It has a smooth, creamy texture, throughout both the cake and the chocolate ganache frosting. Both have the memorable taste of fine quality chocolate, not too sweet, just sweet enough! I ordered the cake without having visited the bakery or, sampling their products, taking their statements of using high quality ingredients and artisan baking skill at face value. We were not disappointed, in the least. Everyone LOVED the cake, especially the birthday boy! Dolce Aroma offers amazing baked goods. They are a relatively new business worthy of your support.“

“The ice cream is the best. They have a mini cone for babies which is adorable, even though our baby wants to share our big cones. The service is friendly and ambiance is great, lots of outdoor seating and moonlight beach is a two block walk. Bourbon butter pecan is my fav, while my husband loves mint oreo. “I've been getting ice cream here occasionally ever since they opened. I am biased since I'm vegan, but I've brought at least four non-vegan friends here and we ALL have enjoyed it. Lots of flavors with different bases (coconut, almond, sunflower, etc.) and some tasty fruit sorbets as well. “Rich ice cream with fun flavors and textures. They give tasters on tiny metal spoons that you return in a little spoon slide. A friendly server told us about her favorite flavors and explained the menu like how the split works. I'd just recommend 1. Better signage direction when you enter so new customers know where to get in line, 2. Maybe an area that tells the history behind the name, it's interesting, 3. Clearly have the name of the store inside the store.“

“Solana Sumptuous falls into the top 3 cookie places in SD county for me; specifically because they make a mean oatmeal chocolate cookie (OAT-M-G). I was introduced to this place by a co-worker who brought in several dozen for us to try on a couple of occasions. Ive had a few different flavors like their Solana Beach, PB, the OG chocolate chip, sea salt caramel, churro, and the Trifecta (stuffed), but the oatmeal chocolate is still my favorite. Single cookies range from $3-$4.50 depending on which one you get, and definitely place an order ahead of time if you're getting more than a few to ensure they have what you want. The in-store service is good and there always seems to be a constant stream of people popping in for a treat.“

“I ordered a lot of sweets from the bakery for a Valentine’s party for my friends. The pop cakes were moist and decadent! The cookie cake was absolutely delicious! The chocolate covered strawberries had little crunchy hearts and could not be any cuter! And the butter cookies were yummy and not too sweet.They could not be any better!“

“I read the 1 star review by Rachna and she's a crusty old tart lol. This place is legit one of the best Italian spots I've been to while visiting Socal. There were only 2 employees working the night I came. For 1, it was their first day. But all the same they helped me find good tasty pizza. It came out hot and fresh too. “This is a great place to grab some self-serve yogurt on campus. There's almost always a club doing a fundraiser here for a discount, and a bowl here is pretty cheap! The machines are always clean and have unique flavors, and you can ask for a sample cup to try the yogurt before dispensing it. Inside seating is limited but there's a ton of tables outside to choose from!“

“I love that they plan their music way in advance. Check out their Instagram or website for the music calendar. They have fresh local beer on draft, plus wines, canned craft beer, pizzas, and fried snacks. Lots of seating on site, although it gets packed on weekends. Walk from Ralph's or bring your ebike. There's no parking for non camping guests. Usually loads of locals. Great place to listen to music and watch the sunset.“

“This is the best sandwich place ever. They make a GIANT turkey torta that will literally rock your world. I bring a lunch to work every day and don't eat it and go here because I can't help myself. It's spicy, well seasoned, ample condiments, good veggies, everything perfect and fresh and good portions. Definitely come here and get the torta!“

“Wynn's is amazing and so is the staff!! Everyone is always super cheerful and helpful when not sure what you want. It's genuinely a great atmosphere all around. Unfortunately we don't live in the area, but everytime we are in town it's usually our first and last stop. We always make sure we pack a cooler to take some home with us. “I visited this place while I had family visiting and was pleased with how simple and how many different options there are! It gives a lot of customization to your dessert experience with unique flavors that are not overbearing. I have a simpler palate so I went with two similar cookies and vanilla ice cream to make my own ice cream sandwich. It is a smaller location so there is not a lot of seating to relax and enjoy, but with this being in downtown Encinitas you can easily walk to your next destination and enjoy your dessert! The staff were very helpful in explaining how this works and makes it an enjoyable experience for a first date, family functions, and even on your own.“

“The caffeine content of their oolong tea is EXTREMELY high. I drink coffee and expresso regularly, and I was shaking with just one large oolong tea with elevated heart rate. Or maybe it was an insane batch of brewed oolong that day with an abnormally high caffeine levels haha.I guess just be aware of it. “Their crepes are handmade in front of you and they are delicious. I got a custom crepe of the cinnamon roll with Nutella on it. Loved it! It is a bit small in there and not much room to sit but the food is wonderful. I showed the kids pictures of the froyo machines and the toppings and they want to go there with me next time and get some ice cream with toppings.“

“It's huge and delicious!!! I had strawberry cheesecake and there was a lot of cheesecake on it. It is a little less chewy than Vera, but has a softer taste. The strawberry syrup is not too much or too sweet, so it harmonizes well with the vanilla flavor. But there is really no end to eating it.“
