“Im not sure why this place doesnt have better reviews. Pricing is not crazy. In SF it would be like $16 each for medium container (which is small in sf) but here it was $9 each plus $1 add ons for the smaller container. I loved that there was an extra small size - i didn't want to waste any and i knew the kid size was enough for me. You can order from a screen and you dont wait long. There are tons of options or you can create your own. There are two tables outside. I will for sure return.“

“Ordered the Matcha Cortado with 80% sugar. This layered matcha milk tea uses their gyokuro green tea, matcha powder and sweetened house milk. It is very refreshing for an afternoon drink to unwind. The matcha powder is quite plentiful, so much that there's a little bit of an aftertaste of powder, but it's not offensive and tastes nice. This location is very busy in the afternoon and there is a line out the door. The interior of this location is very modern and aesthetically pleasing for photographs, no seating areas. The parking area is part of a large plaza with a Ralphs nearby so it can be a challenge but space is available.“

“My message to the business owners would be to stick to the thing you're best at (the snow ice) and really make it shine, like making a build your own snow ice special or add special things like matcha or red beans, instead of trying to stretch the menu and do things that would end up with alright results, especially for smaller kitchens. I really think that this place can still shine due to the creamy and milky perfection of the snow ice, and I see there's so much potential to cater to a gen z/tiktok geared audience. Right now it is limited to a small number of non-customizable items, but new bowl shapes, waffle sizes, and other asian favored toppings would be an absolute game changer. It would make me very sad to see this place go.“

“I was hesitant the first time I tried Alohana. I was a die hard Everbowl customer for years. However, with Everbowl's rising prices and smaller portions it was time to find another spot. I like the Uppers bowl with no Nutella sub extra peanut butter. The staff is great and I've both ordered online to pick up as well as walked in. Easy both ways. The value of bowl you get for the price blows Everbowl out of the water. I recommend this store, you won't be disappointed.“

“Very cute boba tea place located in La Costa Town Square. Walked in and saw a good amount of small tables to sit at and a couple iron tables outside as well. The menu was on the wall by the front counter/register. Made it easy to decide what we wanted while we waited our turn to order. There was also a self-service kiosk by the entrance as well-which we initially didn't notice. There's a good amount of various drinks, offering only one size, and price is comparable to other boba tea places. There's also a case of baked goodies at the front counter as well. The girl working was very nice and friendly and even though she was by herself, she was very efficient in taking orders and getting the drinks out in a timely manner. We tried the Creamy Jasmine milk tea with boba and the Taro Lover with chunks of taro. They were both very delicious! With the perfect amount of sweetness according to both our tastes. I also appreciated that the girl made sure I was ok with the taro chunks that come in my drink, the Taro Lover. All in all, we had a great first visit and happy we decided to try this place. We already plan to go back in the following weeks to try more of their specialties.“

The fruit is always super fresh, they use the best açaí base- truly delicious. “It was very clean when we stopped by. Many flavors to choose from (I think there were 10-12?) My kids loved it. Four stars only because I wasn't asked if I needed a receipt and the cashier just assumed I didn't need one. They have a small freezer with ready to go frozen yogurt cakes. The parking is not bad but all the spaces in the parking lot tend to be a bit narrower. But it's in a great location right across Target and close to many restaurants. We will definitely return.“
