“Found this place at a perfect location with an amazing view. You can literally watch sunset from anywhere you sit here. The menu is extensive and gives you a lot of options to explore, We got the Ravioli , grilled chicken, Pizza and seafood pasta. Ravioli was really good, cooked perfectly and nice sauce as well. I didnt really like the pizza , there was no taste, the sauce lacked flavor and the cheese was just cold and dry, felt like eating a stale pizza. The pasta was really nice , bare minimum sauce though but boasted the smoked salmon flavor. Grilled chicken again felt stale, was like a rubber, hard to cut and chew as well. The service is impeccable, they take care of your dining experience. All in all, a good spot for a dinner with some amazing view. I wish the food could be a notch up better.“
“The restaurant brought memories back from my travels in Italy. The staff was amazing and treated everyone like family. It wasn't easy to pick one entrée. I have to advise to end your meal with a delicious TIRAMISU... We will be returning....“
“Starting out with the service, could not have been any better, A+, very attentive, waiter, guy from Venezuela, drinks came right away pizza ordered came with it about four minutes, and perfect timing was my linguine and Bolognese, excellent, just like my grandmother made, this place is a true treasure 5 o’clock when it opened there were 30 people waiting in line, there’s a reason for that, that’s my new hotspot, love, this place everything about it was top shelfParking: Tons of parking across the street not an issue, just be careful lots of traffic“
“Mostly good, however waiters, waitresses and the people that bring your food to your table should learn to not talk directly over your food when they out it down on the table. Her face was inches above our plate and she was telling us what it was and to enjoy.“
“Best pizza I have had In the area, in a while! We ordered several different pizzas, crime scene, BBQ chicken, pepperoni and a gluten free olives/sausage. My personal favorite was the Crime Scene, fresh ricotta and the meatballs were a great combination! Delivery was spot on their time estimate which made planning dinner for a group easy. 10/10 will be ordering from here again and we highly recommend it.“
“Their food is decadent and amazing. Their staff, a wonderful group. Never need to ask for anything. Their wine ? spectacular. This is a very small place. Reservations recommended. Don't miss out on the best Italian Cuisine in North County. Price $$$“
“Such an amazing and authentic taste with a family vibe. Great service and cook to order food. You can't go wrong if you want a great Italian meal. I've had their pizza, chicken parmesean, spaghetti and meatball sub. All amazing, however, pizza is my favorite.Parking: Parking can seem a bit of a challenge but you will find a spot in the small lot“
“We just had our San Diego Chrono club meet up here last night. We were able to try all different menu items. Everyone really loved the lasagna. The owners and staff treated us really well. I posted some pictures of our event and some steaming, hot lasagna shots.“
“Food was decent, the servers were friendly, but the overall Service was meh. We were a group of 6 guys who were celebrating a pal's birthday (cost was not an issue). We had issues receiving the following after many requests:* Additional Bread - requested 6 times* Red Pepper flakes - requested 4 times* Refilled water glass (never happened)Appreciated dining at Via Vai but they aren't the only restaurant in town. Won't be back for a very long while.“
“This is a hidden gem in a Vons shopping center! The food is incredible and truly authentic Italian. It is a deli for takeout but they make hot sandwiches pasta too. I love the meatballs & marinara. Just walking in a smelling what's cooking is heaven!“
“Cute little pizza shop. Harry was super nice and helpful! As we were ordering all our individual slices, he mentioned that ordering a whole pizza would save us money. We got a full bbq chicken and a half pepperoni and half specialty (pepperoni, onions, and jalapeños). The pizza was delicious!“
“We pop in occasionally for lunch. I really enjoy their patio, the bread is tasty and better than many Italian restaurants(I really think a restaurant could win over customers with an excellent bread service). I occasionally get a craving for their Capellini al Pomodoro, which is a simple angel hair with a savory yet meatless red sauce.“
“Four of us had great gelato, and everyone loved what we got. Service was awesome, and I’d share what we got, but it sounds like they switch out the flavors daily, so no way to know if you’d find it… pina colada, salted carmel, a special which may have been like a German chocolate cake mix, and chocolate…“
“Buonasera is great! They have tons of pizza ready to go by the slice that they'll heat up for you real quick. We went here after a walk on the beach and it was the move. I had the bacon chicken ranch which was delicious. The Antipasto salad was also super refreshing and yummy with the little mortadella and provolone rolls. My dad had the Pepperoni and Sausage and the Red Veggie which he said were also both delicious. They have a nice large outdoor seating area with a bar where you can watch the game. It's a nuce easy spot for some great pizza after a day at the beach.“
“BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN SAN DIEGO! This is our favorite neighborhood restaurant for great, authentic, Italian food! We've been coming to Vittorio's for the past ten years and love the food, service and value. Chuck, our favorite server, is the best! He's very responsive, always around when we need him, but instinctively knows when we're engrossed in discussion... and need some space. Chuck's a true professional! Owner Victor always gives his guests a warm welcome and is constantly checking if everything is well prepared and tasty! Highly recommend!“
“Called to ask if they delivered our hotel. The food arrived hot and right on time. We got wings and two pineapple and ham pizzas.Food was great and they even threw in cups and plates since we were getting delivery to a hotel.Would recommend to anyone looking for good pizza after a built day.“
“Best Italian food I've had. I went with an Italian classmate of mine to this place and we had a great experience with the appetizer, entrees, and dessert. Everything overall was great. When I first received my food, I was like there's no way this would fill me up, but it definitely got me there and the end it with desert was perfect. I would love to go back again.“
“Friendly, family oriented neighborhood Italian restaurant. Seating, ambiance, and wait staff were exceptional. The food was served hot and delicious. The relaxed atmosphere allowed us to enjoy our meal. We highly recommend the Villa Capri Ristorante.“
“Pizza taste was very good ?? but they could improve on the preparation and quantity if they are charging so premium !Ordered a custom Pizza with all Veggies topping on medium size pizza but the quantities of veggies were very low. If one pays for 8+ different toppings separately, he would expect a loaded pizza but they disappointed us ! Not worth customizing and paying $35+ for a single Pizza.Vegetarian options: You can make your own pizza with all veggies or veggies of your choice but the quantity was less.“
“So good!!! I had the burrata pizza and let me just say it was delicious! The pesto was amazing and had a bit of sweetness to it. Very good! The tomato sauce was to die for! Probably the best ever! The crust was delicious and had a nice flavor! Also there is a quite the groovy and cool aesthetic! Bathroom as sparkling!“
“I am literally writing this at the table while I sit at the restaurant because it was so perfect!Came here with a large group for a 21st birthday and Maurizio himself welcomed our party. We couldn’t have chosen a better setting to celebrate a momentous occasion. Our food was delicious, drinks were heavenly, and the atmosphere will without a doubt have us coming back for more. Many thanks to Maurizio & staff for a fantastic evening!“
“I went in because the place was local, I had a coupon and the sandwiches looked great. They took my coupon without any problems and I got the Sandy Koufax (pastrami) and the Tommy Lasorda (Italian) - both came with pasta salad (there's an option for chips if you prefer that). The pasta salad was really good - I feel kinda dumb raving about it, but it was really well made. The sandwiches themselves were awesome. Even without the coupon, the prices felt justified. Quality sandwiches, no skimping on the meat and tasted great. Would definitely come back!“
“Met friends there. Easy to get there. Parking available but limited. We got lucky and found a spot right away.Food was very good. I had a daily special, a clams and mussels risotto.Lots of choices for wine, both foreign and domestic. We sat inside due to the weather, although a covered heated patio was available. It was fairly noisy, mostly from the street.“
“So so so good! I enjoy finding new lunch spots in the area because things get real boring and real quick around here. I ordered for delivery and I was surprised with hot and fresh everything came as well as the portion sizes. The soup was great and full of veggies. The zucchini sticks with the marinara and ranch hit hard, they were addictive. The pasta surprised me the most because I feel like it can be hit and miss at most places because apparently seasoning your food is hard or something. But everything was flavorful and a great price I gotta say. I'll probably dine in at some point because I'd like to see what their dinner service looks like and what the vibe of the restaurant itself is like, but all in all I highly recommend.“
“If you're looking for a cozy spot off the beaten path to enjoy some homemade Italian food in Carlsbad, you have to stop at Roosevelt Pizzeria. This family owned restaurant is small but offers some amazing dishes. We loved the pizza, and the mushroom Gnocchi was very nice. Seating inside is limited, but there is available outdoor seating as well. Nice friendly service!“
“Came here for lunch with my family and the service, food, and views were spectacular. I loved my eggplant parmigiana and my niece loved her pizza. I know their pizza is famous! I highly recommend coming here.Vegetarian options: The eggplant parmigiana and the margarita pizza were spectacular vegetarians options. My dad loved his mushroom risotto (I can’t remember the exact name.) Everything there is honestly delicious“
“Lovely resturant with a beautiful patio and a magnificent ocean view. Started out really nice. Waiter was very attentive. Our 7 year old twins ordered Mac and Cheese and Steak with fries...Oops no fries.. out of fries! Ok baked or mash potatoes? Nope no potatoes period. How does that happen? So spaghetti and steak. Not a great combo. Steak was delicious. Spaghetti ok. Mac and cheese delishous. I ordered my favorite "Cioppino" at $65 I was pretty excited. Came very impressively plated unfortunately that's where it ended. The beautiful garlic bread served in the dish was pure mush since it absorbed all the broth it was sitting in.....The beautiful soup base was bland and fairly tasteless. The entree was full of calamari which normally is not a bad thing if that's what you ordered. Two jumbo shrimp (rubbery) some very soft fish pieces and a few mussels. I think there was a clam or two? Maybe some crab or scallops would have been nice if included in tbere recipe.I had so much Cioppino left as I couldn't get past the bland base, yes I salted and even added a bit of hot sauce and no help.. Oh the fried Calamari appetizers were delicious. Yes we ordered that so lots of calamari that evening. So now the waiter. I don't believe we saw him after the entrees were served. Had other service people which were all wonderful but he was seen here and there but not until the check was brought. Never asked how the Cioppino was considering it was almost all there! They asked if we wanted to go boxes. No thank you. I might add there cocktails were delishous. One great "Old Fashion" and Expresso Martini. Would we go again ?? Maybe. Like I mentioned the ambiance is beautiful, drinks were excellent, appetizers excellent, steak excellent! They should NEVER run out of potatoes again, seriously bad move when steak is on the menu. Just be cautious when ordering the Cioppino. $65 for mostly calamari is a bit costly. ?Parking: Very small lot with Valet service. $9.00 charge.Wheelchair accessibility: All one level. No steps.“
“We had the apple salad to start and the creamy vinaigrette was excellent. Make sure you get the right dressing here. The star of the show was the pizza. I rarely get a medium since the value is usually in the large but even though I like a thin crust, the larges I saw looked a bit anemic. We went with medium. The crust was perfect! The meatballs were perfectly crisped and the ricotta was added after it was cooked so it maintained the creamy texture instead of hardening on the outside when it is cooked. Trust me here, this is my favorite pizza and pizza is one of my favorite foods. The sauce is also the exact acidity I'm looking for. The only downside to this place is how far it is from my house.“
“I had my daughters baby shower here last week. I couldn't have been more pleased. The servers, food, set-up was all excellent. Mario was the manager, and he was constantly checking up with me to see if anything else was needed. A very big thank you to all!“
“Absolutely amazing experience, fortunate enough to have the chance to speak with the owner who's very passionate about pizza and has a deep understanding of the origin and history of it. Ordered 3 pies and was pleased with all of them. I will be back again and will recommend to others as well. Thank you for excellent and over the top customer service!“
“Had an absolutely amazing dinner there tonight with friends. We are all very good cooks, so always very appreciative of excellent food. Everything we had this evening was prepared inspiringly well, which is not a common thing to find in San Diego restaurants. Two of us ordered one the specials, Eggplant Parmigiana. We were in agreement it was perhaps the best ever (and there have been many tried over the years!). Another had the Carbonara, which was truly a don’t-miss work of art. What the restaurant lacks in ambiance, it certainly makes up for in amazing food, excellent service, and warm and caring owners/wait staff. We’ll definitely tell friends and will most certainly visit often!“
“What a great gem! We were visiting the area and used Yelp to find a place for dinner. We settled upon Crust Pizzeria and were so happy we did! The place had a small comfortable bar and there were also tables available. The bartender, I believe her name was Faith, was very sweet and took great care of us. My husband enjoyed the Cheese Ravioli, and I ordered the Penne Sausage. It was excellent - the sausage was a touch spicy, and the tomato cream sauce was delicious. The portions were adequate. If only they had a location near our home - we would certainly be regular customers.“
“Crust is one of our favorite places to eat in Solana Beach! Our family eats here at least once a week! There's so many options, pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, they have a really great lunch menu! The service is always great! I love that this family, friendly restaurant is so good to the community! They have separate rooms, so you can have a bar atmosphere, or sit on the outdoor patio. They even have a private room you can rent out for events. We love this place!“
“Great sandwiches! Good variety and meats and veggies are super fresh. I got the turkey avocado which is made with fresh roasted turkey and your choice of bread- recommend the squaw, it's soft and nice flavor. can order half or full sandwiches but always manage to eat a full. Inside and patio seating options. Grocery inside offers fresh pastas, sauces, drinks, cheeses and more. Reasonable prices too. Excellent go-to deli!“
“I’ve lived in the village for a couple of years and I always thought this place would be another semi good Italian restaurant (overpriced and underwhelming), but I was so wrong! We saw a promotion they were running so finally made it there this evening. The lasagna was legitimately the best lasagna I’ve ever had and I’ve had a ton of lasagna in my life. Even the bread and bruschetta style dipping sauce they provide free of charge was outrageously delicious. This place isn’t pretentious at all and to top it off the service was stellar. Highly, highly recommend!“
“This is one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in a long time. Food was fantastic. Service was great really neat little place. We had a post wedding party there and it was a really neat experience. I had the Santa Fe chicken pasta, which was full of flavor and a side salad that was amazing and huge! will definitely go back next time I’m in town.“
“We were shopping in Encinitas on a Friday night when I spotted the front signage for Forchettaboutit Pizza. We decided to stop in for a couple slices. The joint was jumping on this Friday night and we had to wait a few minutes for an inside table. They do have outdoor patio heaters but it was still too windy to dine outside. We chose the white pizza with chicken and caramelized onions and their meat lovers pizza, and the Caesar salad with chicken. Everything was delicious. The salad was one of the best I've had. The meat was warm, so it was cooked to order and not refrigerated. It was juicy and had great flavor. The chef knows his chicken. The pizza was great if you don't mind a softer crust. It had a wonderful bite and really good char on the underside. Seasoning was great and the toppings looked fresh and really generous. Our waitress gave us a small ramekin of their marinara and it was sooo good. I will definitely try their pasta next time I'm in Encinitas.Service was excellent. All the waitresses had high energy, were fun, and very attentive. The only draw back was soda was from a can so no free refills.“
“So glad we found Uncle Tony’s! We are in town for a conference and found reviews about the good gluten free options. Uncle Tony’s did not disappoint! The food was incredible! I could have eaten a whole bowl of the marinara sauce. I think it is the best I have ever eaten! I had the zoodles -delish- my husband had a gluten free pizza -so yummy! Our friends raved about their meals as well. Now, to convince Uncle Tony to move to Wyoming and open a restaurant ☺️Dietary restrictions: My husband and i both need to eat gluten free, and i am dairy free as well. Finding restaurants that can accommodate both is tricky. Our meals were amazing. They have zoodles or gluten free pasta options as well as gluten free pizza crust. The food quality was incredible and they were aware and understanding of our dietary needs.“
“All their sauces were delicious. We tried their pesto and sun dried tomatoes sauce. Quantity was good.Staff is friendly and quite accommodative to vegetarians. They use separate utensils to make each pasta.Pretty decent seating and an affordable place.Vegan and Vegetarian friendly.“
“Wow! I didn't expect the quality for this mom'n'pops shop. I ordered the chicken ceaser salad with the dressing on the side. The salad was fresh and crisp, the chicken was freshly made and cut and the best part..... the croutons are made in-house!!!!I'm pretty sure the dressing is also made in-house, and it all just was perfect.I will be returning to try the pastas another time. You can't beat that price!!! Please support this restaurant and eat here!“
“Much better than past visits. Too many times you're just ignored by the teenage cashier or food is just not cared for due to being busy. Place was busy, but it was clear management was on it that night (Mon 3/11) could see some guests were just plain rude or disrespectful, but the staff kept with it and killed it with kindness, service and stuck with the quality of food you'd expect for a place with the name, "Best Pizza?". Glad to be back home and see such a turn around“
