“This is my favorite place for fresh fish and the Brussels are to die for. The service is amazing in a relaxed casual atmosphere! I drive 20 miles just to eat here!! Photo is the view from the patio. I accidentally deleted the yummy photo of my sockeye salmon!“

“Great food and service but they need to do something about the hostess stand location. It is very awkward and there is nowhere to stand when waiting for a table. I moved forward and four groups cut in front of me since the hostess did not ask who was next in line, she just looked at someone else and took their information.“

“This place is absolutely beautiful. The servers are super nice and the food was really good. The drinks were amazing. Be sure to park Valet. It's actually less than the metered parking. It was so easy to reserve a table, we got one right at the window with the beautiful ocean as your atmosphere. The prices are not bad for such a beautiful restaurant. I'd say ($15-30) per dish.Parking: Valet was only $8.00! The metered parking was more expensive.“

“We really liked this place because it was such a great value. A kid's meal was $4.99 and included a drink. We got the shrimp and chips for our three year old and they let us substitute beans for the fries. She ate every last bean and the shrimps (there were two of them) were crispy and massive. My husband and I loved our poke bowls. Massive portions, couldn't even finish them, for less than 15 bucks each. Fried calamari was generously sized and only 8 bucks. While I have had better poke and better calamari, it was still good and was the only place we ate in San Diego that we felt was a good value.“

“Husband ordered us Two plates and they were good. The Mac salad was cool, reg basic flavor. The poke compared to a lot of other places was nice & fresh. It does have a little park outside that you can eat at , but being surrounded by business buildings it’s a little meh for me. Past that though , poke quality was good.“

“Del Mar has grown up!I lived in Del Mar in the 80s and 90s, to see Del Mar and what we called east Del Mar, north city west today, it's unrecognizable. The cute little beach village 92014 retains the same feel. East of the 5 is now a destination for the bougie trendy crowd. The shopping is fantastic, the theatre's top-notch the food and atmosphere is as good or better then the best zips in the state.Nicks fits in perfectly. The place is classy, clean, and delicious.Top this off with world-class service, and it is a must-visit.“

“Took my group out for a work dinner. They were busy, we made a same day reservation on the patio. Service was top notch. The food selection was very good. Most of us were looking for good seafood options and found it here. The price was pretty reasonable as well, in my opinion, for this level of quality prepared food. We enjoyed it and would go back.“

“The view here is awesome, and the food was unmatched. The bread & spread were awesome. I've never had homemade naan as good as theirs. The clam chowder was good and the chips, salsa and guac were really great. Hands down a must eat if you are visiting this area.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian and vegan options. Both items I ordered were vegetarian.“

“Delicious food, great service, beautiful evening ambiance. Everything looked so good it was hard to decide so we'll definitely be returning to try everything else on the menu! The mussels were out but the oysters were very good, the shrimp was the best, the tar tar was perfection, the smashed artichoke was the best side dish but guessing from what we saw you couldn't go wrong between any of them. I love gin and the local gin they use for their cocktails was delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to get inside to the first set of tables“

“You cannot get closer to the ocean than here, and what a fantastic place to be. If you can get on the patio near sunset, you are in for an incredible evening. On top of the view the service and food are exceptional. You can never go wrong at PCG!“

“Had the pleasure of dining here with my family on March 3. Wonderful experience. Met chef Aidan at our table and what followed was a family taste sharing experience of many courses which were ordered with the help of our great server Tosh. Can't wait to come again. Great job Aidan!“

“So excited that this restaurant opened in Del Mar since I frequently go to the San Clemente location on my drive back from working in LA. I normally get the blackened shrimp salad which is amazing, but this time I switched it up and got the Birria tacos. Delicious and would definitely recommend!“

“You can't go wrong with any item here. We ordered a range of items from Mopu Tofu, Trio Kung Pao, Eggplant, to the garlic green beans with shrimp. Everything was so good! The lady we picked up the takeout from was so sweet and accommodating. I cannot wait to return!!!“

“First timers there. Greeted for lunch by a friendly hostess who offered us all the seating options (all of which were nice). Our waitress was extremely helpful explaining the menu and offering suggestions. We each decided on chowder & a taco. Wife had the New England which gets a 5 out of 10 rating. (plenty of clam & texture but lacking in flavors). I had the Manhattan, which turned out to be the he better choice, earning a 8 of 10. Grilled fish tacos unfortunately were also bland (good quality & presented nicely but again no flavors). In their defense we both agreed we would come back again and try something a bit more adventurous.“

“We had dinner here last night. The food was really fresh and good. It was recommended by someone who lives nearby so we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. We don't live in Carlsbad but we'll return the next time we are here.“

“Excellent dining experience! Enjoyed an authentic taste of Peru made even better by the warm service. Highly recommend the ceviche, yuquitas, quinoa salad (would add protein if ordering as main entree), and the Tempranillo. The chaufa was good, just a bit too much soy sauce for my taste. Look forward to coming back to try more dishes, including the lomo saltado. Cozy patio dining with heat lamps.“

“We had already been to the location in uptown Carlsbad and had always wanted to try this location by the beach. The crew members were very courteous and attentive. We were seated at an ocean view location, which was perfect til the screaming kid next to us kept testing the acoustics in the building. The parents had no intention of calming him down. We asked to move to another seat, and we took the option of sitting in the bar area. The outside dining area wasn't available for another hour. Unfortunately, we could periodically still hear the kid screaming, but it wasn't as loud. The food was great! Our waitress was excellent! The seating in the main lobby could've been a little more spacious, and the parking could be an issue if it weren't for the great valet parking. We definitely will be back.“

“It was a simple and refreshing salad paired with the slice of pizza. We loved the rusty and crunch of the pizza dough. The serving size is almost 2 slices. The salad was really good! The greens are crunchy paired with the right acidity of the dressing.“

“What a fantastic find in Solana Beach! Very nice family style restaurant with amazing fish and sea food offerings. Stuff was great and had some fantastic recommendations. Pricing is very reasonable and they have amazing specials. Nice inside seating and a few outside tables on a small patio. Only minor critique is of their salsa on the $5 chips and salsa order. Chips were amazing made to order, but salsa was just watery tomato sauce equivalent. But everything else at the restaurant is amazing!!! Fish tacos are some of the best, and two will fill you up! Great beer selection on tap to please just about everyone. Really love this little spot!“

“I got the Hand Rolls (comes with 5 rolls... Shrimp, Spicy Tuna, Salmon, Scallops and Yellowtail) and each one was better than the last... super fresh... zero fishy smell... the Scallops was surprisingly my favorite. I've had bad scallops before and wasn't sure what to expect. But its absolutely delicious. They have 5 different sauces to add for dipping, just get them all they are excellent. Service was quick and friendly, I'll be back 100%“

“ok where to start my bill was about $ 250 for 2ppl and a $50 tip. i ordered a surf and turf in place filet i asked for NY strip. 2 rum n cokes gf got a salad I forget what else. I went out for a smoke half of my rubber tiny lobster tail like 6oz was still on my plate with some of my steak I came back the waiter took it away. like wtf it wasnt off to the side it was in front of my seat silverware still sitting there. I was overr charged. it seems I was charged for a NY STRIP AND A SURF AND TURF. I spend money like most breath oxygen but This was not cool I was so pissed I just wanted to leave since they took my food ruined the anniversary and birthday dinner for me. I did call and ask to speak with a manager and no one ever called me back. This is one place I will not be returning to. the food was ehh lobster tail OVERCOOKED to the point of rubber the taking of my plate with half of my food still on it the double charge. I've eaten at more expensive and less expensive places and it seems the lesser expensive have way better food where you spend $150-$200 for 2 ppl are way better. simple put save your money do not bother. and oh yes waited 20 to 25 mins for drinks thats the time from being asked to getting them...“

“Our second time here in the last several years when in Encinitas, and it's still a great place for our seafood fix! Order at the counter and sit down for them to bring out your food order. This time, we tried the surf and turf tacos, fish and chips, and a dozen oysters. The food was so fresh and delicious as was our previous experience. Patio seating is pleasant for dinner and inside has seating and one side is a bar area with plenty of TVs to catch a game. Service is always courteous and friendly. I appreciated the manager letting us know about the local beers available as well as the options for wine offerings. There can be a line during peak hours, but be patient since those fish tacos and beer are worth it. See you at the Fish Shop on our next trip.“

“I finally found AUTHENTIC Peruvian food in San Diego. In LA we have so many spots since I moved here 5 years ago I've been deprived of Peruvian Food. There Allllll not good or authentic but let me tell you. This spot is just like home. Great large portions authentic Peruvian FOOD and that green sauce yummmmmm. Only missing the PAN (bread) but all good.“
“Went here for restaurant week this week, and it's just as good as I remembered! I got the carpaccio to start and picked on my friend's artichokes. The artichokes were still one of my all time faves! I got the lasagna as my main entree, which was flavorful and cheesy! I got the chocolate panna cotta for dessert, which is probably the best I've had! The service was friendly, and helpful, and patient with us gals catching up for 3.5 hours!! We also got lucky with a beautiful sunset that evening, but regardless of the time, the view is always nice.“

“Whenever we are in Carlsbad, we take a short drive here. My husband and boys love fish, so this is a must when we are near. Tonight, we had the chowder, fish platter (comes with two sides), fish sandwiches (keep the lemon aioli), and the fish & chip. Oh, make sure you try their cole slaw, best I've ever had. All very fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the employees are friendly.“

“Crazy. We were here YEARS ago. Driving back to Escondido from a day at the beach and the territory looked familiar. After a brief stop at Pizza Port Brezzi Ranch I checked old yelp reviews and found this place, just down the street 2 minutes. Ordered spicy tuna poke bowl and a po'boy...again. Great! And wonderful local craft beer selection. Deja Vous all over again. Fantastic for a cute little place like this maintaining consistency. Kudos!“

“We used to eat at the Chins in San Marcos back in the mid to late nineties. It was our all time favorite Chinese Restaurant. We are staying here in Del Mar and ordered "to go" at Chins just down the street. Food is still delicious as we ordered Honey Sesame Duo, Beef Chop Suey, and Pork Pot stickers. “Situated inside The beautiful Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, is Lilian's. Reservations recommended as we dined for lunch it started out quiet but quickly filled with many locals. Although we had reservations, The hostess was apologetically busy and took awhile to get to us. Once seated, The view from our table overlooks the property and loved the inside and outdoor area of this restaurant. The Monterey Salmon was flavorful, gorgeously plated with a delicious sauce. The creamed spinach and brown butter sides paired well with the salmon. The grilled chicken sandwich was not my favorite. The olive tapenade with the in house made olive bread was overpowering and had to scrape some of it off. The sandwich was lacking and next time will order a different menu item. The meal was completed with beignets and was my favorite part of the meal. The beignets were crispy, with a sugar torched crust but soft & moist inside and included 3 different sauces that paired well with the beignets. Absolutely loved it!“

“My favorite place to go for Lobster rolls! Not very inviting to go inside though with the casher counter blocking the entrance. We ended up eating in the car because it was too cold to eat outside Encinitas way better than La Jolla. Drove from L.A. to eat there“

“Came here for brunch on the weekend. Made reservations ahead, but place was not very full when we arrived. There are lawn games in the front but opted to eat inside. Started with the honey lavender scones and scotch egg. Scones were a bit smaller than normal but were tasty with the clotted cream and jam provided. Scotch egg was flavorful and came with a whipped butter. Fish and chips came with a sizeable piece of battered fish which went well with the condiments. I had a beet salad that was colorful and delicious. Plenty of different beets and enjoyed the textures of the pomegranate seeds and hazelnuts. Service was prompt and our waiter was nice and helpful.Parking: Plenty of free parking available“

The desserts are vast with an ice cream bar with more toppings you can ever use. Service is constant and very attentive. Suggestion: They fill up quickly, especially lunch, so make reservations. “This place is busy and has long queue even on a weekday night. Went without a reservation ( they dun take reservation call but you can Q in advance using the Yelp app) and was made to wait for 30 minutes. The food was served in a bag with the spices and sauce all in one. The sausages and potatoes are all thrown inside. The sauce is kind of high in sodium ( be prepared to drink tons of water later) but addictive. However, because everything has the same sauce, you probably will hit diminishing returns in no time. Therefore, I will rec a mix of other stuff that are not served in the bag, such as lemon chicken wings, fries etc drinks come free flow and you probably will need it to wash down the food.Service is good ? and the staff are very friendly.A nice experience eating without the worry of leaving a mess in the end!“
“Just finished trying this place. Unfortunately there was way too much salt in both my ceviches. I know the potential for this place so I assume it was just a mistake from how much salt was added. I wasn't able to finish my ceviches but I'll be happy to try again next time. Just careful with the salt! Thanks.“

“My wife and I just visited this restaurant night before last. Owners are very nice and will actually stop and talk with you. Very clean inside. If you want salsa and chips you must ask. And they do have a better fresh 3 varieties. Just ask. No charge. Food was good but serving was small compared to other competitors. We WILL be going back . We enjoyed it. It's not served heat hot, but they do have hot sauce to satisfy your pallet. Give it a try.“

“I cannot encourage y'all enough to go to Ciccotti's restaurant in Cardiff! Not only have they been a consistent go to for family meals and beautiful sunsets but they went out of their way to be professional, kind and on time for my father's funeral reception this last week. In dealing with the owner himself, he was respectful and on point with his suggestions and pricing. They delivered the food on time, cleaned up when we were done and allowed us to bring home The trays that were not fully consumed ( I'll be bringing them back !) Please support this local business with their professionalism, their delicious food, and great location! We ordered the bread with the yummy red dipping sauce , house salad , lasagna ( omg!) and ravioli with cream sauce - all delicious!“
