“Much better than past visits. Too many times you're just ignored by the teenage cashier or food is just not cared for due to being busy. Place was busy, but it was clear management was on it that night (Mon 3/11) could see some guests were just plain rude or disrespectful, but the staff kept with it and killed it with kindness, service and stuck with the quality of food you'd expect for a place with the name, "Best Pizza?". Glad to be back home and see such a turn around“

“This is a nice place to grab a bite when chilling in the square. We snagged a slice and a salad from here which chilling at the brewery next door and it was the perfect combo. I may have accidentally dropped my slice on the floor as soon as I stepped outside which they replaced for free. The least I could do was give them a shoutout. The small salad was huge by the way. They hook it up! They also sell soft serve ice cream here which was a huge hit with the kids. This is a quick and convenient place to eat while hanging out.Vegetarian options: The salads are huge here. Also who doesn't love pizza.Kid-friendliness: There were plenty of kids at the restaurant and eating pizza and ice cream in the quad outside. It is a great place for families.“

“Best pizza I have had In the area, in a while! We ordered several different pizzas, crime scene, BBQ chicken, pepperoni and a gluten free olives/sausage. My personal favorite was the Crime Scene, fresh ricotta and the meatballs were a great combination! Delivery was spot on their time estimate which made planning dinner for a group easy. 10/10 will be ordering from here again and we highly recommend it.“

“Best in the city for vegan white pizza!! I was super exhausted to cook one day and decided to look for a vegan pizza place and oh my, this was the best place I ever tried! I called barely 5-10 minutes before closing but they were so nice they stayed back an extra 15 minutes after their closing time to make sure I got my order! (When I say I was exhausted, it was an under statement so it TOTALLY made my day!!) I am soooooo waiting to go back next week with friends! “Buonasera is great! They have tons of pizza ready to go by the slice that they'll heat up for you real quick. We went here after a walk on the beach and it was the move. I had the bacon chicken ranch which was delicious. The Antipasto salad was also super refreshing and yummy with the little mortadella and provolone rolls. My dad had the Pepperoni and Sausage and the Red Veggie which he said were also both delicious. They have a nice large outdoor seating area with a bar where you can watch the game. It's a nuce easy spot for some great pizza after a day at the beach.“

The only item on the menu we didn't care for was the Brussel sprouts appetizer. We mentioned that to our waiter and he agreed that they needed to get it better. One of the owners came by the table to discuss our likes and dislikes with us and comped us with two glasses of wine. Overall very pleased with the experience. We will be back.“

“Hidden behind another pizza joint, I suggested we eat here instead. I was honestly thinking they would have pizza by the slice, but their way of competing against the many other pizza choices around the village is different. They offer a menu more than just pizza, including pasta, salad, veggie appetizers, and wine. Their pizza is practically a thin crust until you get to the end. It was amazing how perfect the crust was. It wasn't floppy anywhere and had a good chew. It was wonderful to dip into the leftover sauce from the stuffed shells, which was also great on its own. The pronounced lemon in the filling was awesome; I actually liked that it wasn't just a hint of lemon. The ambiance is intimate, but it's nice where we sat in their outdoor area. The service was OK. We weren't greeted when we stepped inside or as we walked up. The server didn't present our food by name, but rather placed it on the table. I don't think they even said, "enjoy". It just wasn't personable for a small local shop. When we left, however, another server who was working inside said bye and thank you. Guess it depends who you get.“

“I am a tour operator and in month of April we had two separate tours in 2 days and each time we got very satisfied with Bistro Kabob food, service and friendly staff. They took my coupon without any problems and I got the Sandy Koufax (pastrami) and the Tommy Lasorda (Italian) - both came with pasta salad (there's an option for chips if you prefer that). The pasta salad was really good - I feel kinda dumb raving about it, but it was really well made.The sandwiches themselves were awesome. Even without the coupon, the prices felt justified. I rarely get a medium since the value is usually in the large but even though I like a thin crust, the larges I saw looked a bit anemic. We went with medium. The crust was perfect! The meatballs were perfectly crisped and the ricotta was added after it was cooked so it maintained the creamy texture instead of hardening on the outside when it is cooked. Trust me here, this is my favorite pizza and pizza is one of my favorite foods. The sauce is also the exact acidity I'm looking for. The only downside to this place is how far it is from my house.“

“We were shopping in Encinitas on a Friday night when I spotted the front signage for Forchettaboutit Pizza. We decided to stop in for a couple slices. The joint was jumping on this Friday night and we had to wait a few minutes for an inside table. They do have outdoor patio heaters but it was still too windy to dine outside.We chose the white pizza with chicken and caramelized onions and their meat lovers pizza, and the Caesar salad with chicken. Everything was delicious.The salad was one of the best I've had. The meat was warm, so it was cooked to order and not refrigerated. It was juicy and had great flavor. The chef knows his chicken.The pizza was great if you don't mind a softer crust. It had a wonderful bite and really good char on the underside. Seasoning was great and the toppings looked fresh and really generous.Our waitress gave us a small ramekin of their marinara and it was sooo good. I will definitely try their pasta next time I'm in Encinitas.Service was excellent. All the waitresses had high energy, were fun, and very attentive.The only draw back was soda was from a can so no free refills.“

“We've been eating at Uncle Tony's for many years and love it. During the "pandemic", aside from the great food, Uncle Tony's restaurant was an island of clarity surrounded by an ocean of insanity. The atmosphere is great and the background music is perfect. I'd say the lobster ravioli are amazing but then everything else on the menu is also. Family owned and operated, so you'll find Tony talking with customers from behind the bar or around a table.“

“Came here for the first time around 1:30 on March 1 Friday. Decided to stop by on my way home from UTC. Easy place to enter from Miramar road. Ordered the Joes Special and Philly with mushrooms. As I entered I was immediately greeted by a nice lady. Super friendly and helpful. Order was made fresh and quickly. She didn't call out my order number when it was ready she actually came out to the table and handed it to me and offered me hot sauce. Overall the food was good and service was great. “One of the best pizza places I've been to! I spent the weekend in Rosarito with family and on the way back I got hungry and stopped in Encinitas. The dispensary next door is the reason this establishment caught my eye in all honesty. Best decision I made was choosing this restaurant over the others that were crowded. We ordered the Mr. Moto and the California love pizza slices as well as the stuffed garlic knots. What made the pizza the best was honestly the service provided by the employee Leo. He went above and beyond to help us choose what we liked. He cooked everything and made sure it was fresh, and not overcooked. He also didn't disappoint in the choice of beer to go with my pizza!!
