“We love their food! Our go to items are salt n pepper wings, BBQ, Oceania, and house fried rice! They also make their own spicy mustard. It’s the best I’ve ever had! White rice or fried rice comes with the main dishes as a side as well. We eat the leftovers for lunch and nothing ever goes to waste. So good, so good!!!“

However, what we were most impressed with was our server Olivia. She knew the menu items very well - could answer any and all questions that we had. She expressed herself very positively. “We ordered Pho, Salt and Pepper wings, Egg Rolls, and Mi Quang. Everything was delicious. Staff was wonderful, parking can be tough as there is a cafe in this same plaza and a Laundromat as well. Prices are decent and the food comes quickly. The nuoc mam cham we had was a little off than what I'm used to but another time we had it, it tasted a lot better so possibly just an off day for them. I can't recommend the salt and pepper wings enough, packed with flavor and very crispy. Perfect balance of salty and sweet. Would come again!“

You can enter a waitlist.I waited for more than an hour, but I feel like it was worth it (I was veeeerry hungry though). I ordered the karaage (it was okay, I definitely had better), and the tonkotsu ramen. This came with a homemade chilipaste and some finely chopped garlic. I would highly recommend to add these to the ramen, because it really enhances the flavours, otherwise it is quite bland, but after the addition I slurped it up very quickly!Very kind staff!“

We were seated quickly and water was brought out just as quickly. It seemed like our food was brought out right after we ordered it.Eggs rolls were good. “Honestly, I was a bit surprised by this place, considering its touristy location!I did stop by here, around 2pm, so it wasn't crowded.It's such a cute gem. The faux chinese lantern lighting is absolutely adorable. Love the wide booth seating that draws your eyes to the built-in bookshelves in the back of the room, making this place look so chic and cozy at the same time. The music here gives me a chill lounge vibe: acoustic versions of famous songs without lyrics.Prices are a bit higher, but I think the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere is worth it!I had the Choo chee duck and it was delicious. I had my curry on the side, so the duck was on the dry side (crispy skin!), but it was great with the sauce, and you can be sure their rice was the right consistency :) The Thai tea was as expected! “Delicious! We got the dumpling and wonton egg noodle soup, the combo egg noodle soup (#27), veggie egg rolls, and fried dough ("donuts"). The donuts were warm, nice and crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Egg noodles were delicious and broth for both our soups were excellent.“

The Drunken noodles with beef and shrimp was my favorite dish. The yellow curry was very tasty. Thai fried rice was on point and the crispy veggie eggrolls were good. “I love Pho. I base the majority of opinion on the strength of the flavor of their soup. The stronger the flavor the less they rushed it when cooking it earlier. The portion was exactly like I like, not too much but definitely not too little. Ingredients were all good except the mint leaves look like there were used. Leaves were ripped in half and looked like it was picked on. Not saying it was but it had that appearance and they should know better. I had mine to go and it was wrapped up so I didn’t look inside. They gave out packets of the hoisin sauce and a packet of fake sriracha 1 each…that equals a loss of a star or it’s 5 easy.“

“I don't say this lightly, but The Yasai is a must-visit. What they do, creating vegan versions of sushi, is remarkable. The set of rolls on the left in my photo were exactly like the experience of eating unagi uramaki, despite being vegan. It's amazing that chefs Watanabe and Matsuoka have found a way to replicate the flavours and textures of sushi using fully vegan ingredients. The Yasai has both a vegan and non-vegan menu, so mixed parties will all find something to enjoy. I'll be waiting eagerly for them to open an international affiliate...can I possibly suggest Amsterdam?We visited the Little Italy location as it was closer to our AirBnB. I'd accidentally reserved at their main location on Convoy Street, but they were kind enough to transfer the reservation to Little Italy even though I only called on the same day as the reservation to ask. It's a relaxed atmosphere with nods to modern Japanese design. The staff at Little Italy were really friendly and knowledgeable about The Yasai's food. Full marks for service!“

Will have to try more of the menu to find more Asian influences!Food: As a Lao gal, I loved everything!!Hong Kong Style Noodles: Broth was so I good I had to take a second sip to make sure I tasted it right. The Cha Shu Pork was absolutely amazing! I usually don't like that style of pork because of the texture I usually find in ramen, but this Cha Shu Pork was SO SO SO flavorful and cooked to perfection that it just melted in my mouth. It must've been basted over flame because the flavor was present throughout the pieces (4) and it has a yummy sweet, charred umami flavor.Szechuan Spicy Chicken Wontons: ACTUALLY spicy and were yummy and filling. New kind of wrap for me (thin and silky) but still delicious.Satay Chicken: I smelled the satay chicken the moment I got back in my car. I had to fight myself from digging into the bottom of the bag and taking a bite right then and there. They wrapped it in foil so it was still warm and flavorful when I got home.Beer: Learning to like beer, but the TOM YUM BEER American Wheat Beer was so refreshing and helped cut through the spices so I could continue to enjoy my meal (it actually says it on the back! I didn't see until after my meal lol). Cool to see the other Thai beers, will be trying them next time!Overall 11/10! Will be going back and trying the rest of the menu.Vegetarian options: All the vegetarian dishes have a green "VH" marked at the bottom of the description. SEA food tends to have a good variety of Vegetarian dishes.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible right off the sidewalk and is a one story shop with no stairs or barriers. Swing door must be pulled open and is the standard door size. Tables and chairs can be moved to be accessible to wheelchair users.“
“This place is hided gem. We are visiting San Diego for a couple of days. Decided on Chinese food. Ma Noodle delivers so we took a chance. I’m glad we did. We ordered the Yang chow Rice, the salted chicken and the crispy shrimp. The food was great. The portions were big as well. It was enough for at least 3 people. I haven’t had Chinese food this good in very long time. Nothing overly or under seasoned. Great experience. Definitely recommend.“

“Let me tell you why I give 5 stars. The bread for the Bahn mi. Ive gone to waay to many places in San Diego that give you stale bread. Here they seem to toast it on the spot to maximize crispyness.Second, the broth for the pho actually has flavor, unlike most places ive been too.Third, good thai iced coffee. ( i do not personally like their boba) so its perfect without it for me.4th very reasonable prices considering the affects of post pandemic.“
“Tonight was my first time eating from here. I was talking to a friend and some spaghetti, and it made me hungry. I still be to living in this area, so I decided to try something closer versus my go-to, Mr. Moto's in North Park, when I want pasta. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. I ate the entire dish. No leftovers. Normally there's left overs. I have to admit this was much better than Mr. Moto's dish, so when I'm wanting pasta, noodle and company has won my heart and my loyalty. I plan to eat here again. The cheesy bread sounds phenomenal. I'll update as I continue to patron this place.“
