“The hardest thing about Burdell is that you can't eat everything in one sitting but you really want to. Tonight was our first time dining here, and we are already looking forward to going back. My husband and I started with cocktails and they were absolutely delicious. Then we had the chicken liver and waffles and we all but licked the plate. For dinner I had the fried petrale sole and my husband had the pork neck. We also couldn't resist getting the whipped potatoes, which were everything you want potatoes to be. We both loved our entrees and stole bites from each other. Very flavorful, very lovely presentation, and nice portions. For dessert we shared the chocolate puddin and it was also excellent. We were well taken care of by all of the staff and got some lovely drink recommendations that paired well with each course. We really enjoyed this dining experience and look forward to returning. We would like to do the family dinner with beverage pairing next. Love this place!“

I got the cookbook for Christmas a couple of years ago and that can tide me over but of course, I'd rather it come from the OG. My absolute favorites are the pesto mac or pizza mac - both of which will rotate on and off the menu. A crunchy top is a necessity. I prefer the breadcrumbs but they have other options like hot Cheetos or chips too. Thank you for existing, Homeroom. ILY.“

“I can't say enough good things about Low Bar! I hosted a holiday party here last night for a local professional organization, and Low Bar was the perfect venue. The staff are so thoughtful, organized, and attentive, and the food is fantastic. Low Bar is really the place to be if you want fun, casual vibes but high quality food. Their private room was perfect for a 30-person event. The price was reasonable for the high quality of food, cocktails, and service. Our guests ranged from graduate students to retirees, and folks from all walks of life remarked on how much they loved the location.Justin was our server, and he was the dream to work with. Friendly, professional, attentive-- he really made the party a success. I felt like I could just show up and Justin and the Low Bar would make everything run well.Their event manager Sam was also a joy to work with and made everything so easy. The location is perfect for public transit accessibility, and there is a parking lot across the street.Don't sleep on the churrros! The food here is amazing.“

“Loved Binny's! We found this place on accident on a Thursday night, but it was a great find! The space feels intimate, not super busy, and it's super cute inside. The food is simple but really hits the spot, and the drinks are super delicious. The bartender and staff are super attentive, quick, and happy to modify based on taste. I really enjoyed the arugula salad and grilled cheese. The food wasn't too oily, especially the catfish bites, and they were super tender and fresh. There was also a good amount of vegetarians options too!If you get the chance to try anything, the shots are insanely good. This place was a great spot to end a crazy busy Thursday work night!“

Crostini

“What an incredible find! By all rights this should be a Michelin 1 star restaurant. Funky, vegetable forward and friendly like AL's Place (RIP) or Cafe Olli in Portland. The cocktails were dialed-in and delicious - nothing too sweet. The dishes were symphonies of both known and surprising flavors. Was that pickled cucumber noodles under the crab salad? I don't know, but I know it was delicious! Is that fish sauce in the beef tartare? Yes or no, it's incredible! The criticism I see online of this place is that the dishes are small - they aren't, for the quality. We were more than full with four dishes between two people, which in a regular restaurant would be 2 apps and 2 entrees. That's entirely reasonable! MY only criticism is that I wish there were more dishes served heated. The Fregola was so comforting - it needs some friends! If you have a last-minute date night, this is on a very short list of excellent options. Don't miss it!“

When we arrived, they had set up a nice long table for all of us by the bar, which who doesn't like being close to the bar? Nina and Thomas were so kind and attentive and we got plenty of recommendations including some great bottles of wine. All our food and drink were delicious and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and two of our employees feel special at their relocation party. Can't wait to eat here again. The noodles, fried egg, and millionaire bacon made it all come together. The coconut cream latte brought the whole experience together. My second day at Kitchen Story I ordered the Tornado Galbi Omurice and the iced Cinnamon latte, the best decision. It was delicious. The servers gave me the recommendations for both dishes so I am grateful for the advice. The only thing that is hard for me is the no room and you are so close to other people and hear evey conversation. “Blink and you'll miss it! We had reservations for Mother's Day here and so glad we tried it. Asian fusion is never a bad idea! It was something new and the chips with the dip is def the way to start your brunch! It is a little addictive, because you can not get enough of their house chips. The dip def will leave you wanting more. We added a splash of lemon, and it actually activated the flavors even more. The service was beyond amazing and all staff was super attentive. Drinks were always right on time. I was having a hard time deciding what to order because there were so many things. I ordered the pork belly poached eggs. Oh my! What a great combination. Soft shell crab sandwich hit the spot and it was eaten within 10 minutes. I am not sure what kind of aioli was given, but it was to die for! The gravy was awesome and I wish I would've ordered it myself too and also why didn't I order a biscuit?! The salad that was served with the poached eggs were the perfect tangy side for the meal. I usually have a side of fries or potatoes but this was so light and delicious.“
