Anaviv's Table Pizza • $$
600 Hoffman Blvd, Richmond

“I wish I could give more than five stars. I reached out to Tonya to see if we could get pizza making lessons with a small group of friends (because the pizza at Anaviv's Table is so good). Tonya was enthusiastic and flexible about helping me set up the event. The event was run by Darren with help from Siyoon. Darren was patient, engaging, and deeply knowledgeable. He guided us through every step of the process, giving us tips and tricks along the way, and by the end we had both a lot of pizzas to enjoy right then and plenty of dough to bring home to make more ourselves. Siyoon helped everything run smoothly so that we could all have a good time, and as a parting gift, gave us each a saffron lemon bar to take home with us.My wife and I have always enjoyed visiting Anaviv's Table in all of its incarnations. We're excited about how they continue to grow, and just so impressed by everyone on their staff.Thank you!“

“Gotta give props to Curbside Kitchen and their flavorful Filipinx inspired burgers! Love how they are representing the PI culture and their food truck is conveniently available next to Armistice Brewery, which has great ambiance. Perfect food pairing with beer! The owners are nice and it took about 10 min for them to whip up my signature Curbside burger, which has Tocino (Filipino bacon) and it was absolutely delicious and filling. The beef patty was hot and flavorful, the brioche bun was a nice bite, the pickled veggies gave a nice acid pop to tickle the tastebuds- everything was hot and fresh and the portion was just enough. Will try their lumpia and other items when I'm back - they also do catering with an extended menu!“

“Cute restaurant with pretty dishes but the taste is a bit bland (not spicy) for Mexican food, quite oily, and it seems that the 3 dishes we ordered had some sugar or sweetener (they were a bit sweet instead of spicy, making this feel more "Americanized"). “Important news flash: they do BRUNCH in addition to incredible dinners. I could write a whole post on how amazing and lovely this is as a date spot for dinner and how much I freaking love their salads and gluten free pizzas (possibly my favorite one in the bay), but this is about brunch. We had no idea they did brunch and when we looked at the menu for it online, it didn’t list any mains. But we went anyway and were blown away. I’m adding a pic of the actual brunch menu so you can see the real selection offered.Y’all, they have a BREAKFAST PIZZA and I promise it’s even better than you would imagine. Do you like breakfast? Do you like pizza? This is a heavenly chimera of two of life’s greatest joys.?? Don’t sleep on the brunch! But also the perfect date spot. The burrata appetizer was perfectly executed for a place that isn't designated Italian, and the salad offerings really stood out. I had the ahi tuna and for $20 wish I had a couple more pieces of Ahi but the flavors and seasoning were fantastic. I especially loved the little pieces of sushi style ginger mixed within - delicious. It should also be noted that the service was exceptional, toeing the line between attentive and breathable to a T. For dinner I had the fried petrale sole and my husband had the pork neck. We also couldn't resist getting the whipped potatoes, which were everything you want potatoes to be. We both loved our entrees and stole bites from each other. Very flavorful, very lovely presentation, and nice portions. For dessert we shared the chocolate puddin and it was also excellent. I would say that the fruit selection was good and the almonds used are of higher quality. The chia seed pudding itself was a little bland, needing something a little extra for flavor (possibly cinnamon or a little nutmeg). It was just a bit lacking and I was just yearning for something more… this is not to say it wasn’t good, it was, but it just needs a little something to make it stellar.Service is very friendly and the restaurant itself is no frills, though on a nice day you have the option to sit out front of the restaurant.I’ll be back again to try its other offerings as there are many options on the menu that sounded great.“

“The place was fun :)There was a little concert with a lot of instruments inside and that was giving quite a vibe to the whole experience.Great choice of beers - also Guinness+ cider! - and interesting choice of food. Chicken wings were very tasty. I saw on the menu that they do the desserts with beers, which should be quite an experience.“

“I can't say enough good things about Low Bar! I hosted a holiday party here last night for a local professional organization, and Low Bar was the perfect venue. The staff are so thoughtful, organized, and attentive, and the food is fantastic. Low Bar is really the place to be if you want fun, casual vibes but high quality food. Their private room was perfect for a 30-person event. The price was reasonable for the high quality of food, cocktails, and service. Our guests ranged from graduate students to retirees, and folks from all walks of life remarked on how much they loved the location.Justin was our server, and he was the dream to work with. Friendly, professional, attentive-- he really made the party a success. I felt like I could just show up and Justin and the Low Bar would make everything run well.Their event manager Sam was also a joy to work with and made everything so easy. The location is perfect for public transit accessibility, and there is a parking lot across the street.Don't sleep on the churrros! The food here is amazing.“

“Nice to finally find a place to eat real and excellent food in SF as most places up the Pier areas are just fried fried and fried with obligatory French fries. One of us had the salmon which was gorgeous but the chicken pot pie was a revelation with loads of meat and veg with a creamy sort of stroganoff sauce and thin buttery top crust. Given that we had paid paid more for a burger in LA airport on the way to SF having a lovely meal for less was excellent. If you are near the Marina or Fillmore Street area please check it out. Nicest food I have had after 12 days in SF and Los Angeles.“

“Mikko's Tier List Reviews~ Food - Hard to go wrong with the food! Whoever is cooking is talented but tbh it's hard to mess up this type of food. Price - bit expensive for this type of food, which it was 1-2$ cheaper for all items Ambience/Atmosphere - Casual and quick, not much to say Wait time - None when I went, lots of open seats Individual Dish Ratings - Chopped Cheese - Solid overall, flavors were great Tier Verdict - S+ Tier (out of SS, normie grade is 90/100)“

“Sunday brunch was epic. Get the Americana burger (one of the best in SF) with roasted onions and crispy onions on the side. Also get the toasted French toast and the banana cake with mascarpone and chocolate. Servers very helpful, vibrant vibe, nice crowds. Highly recommended. Parking can be tricky but you’ll probably find something if your circle for 5 mins or so.Parking: Parking can be tricky but you’ll probably find something if your circle for 5 mins or so.“

“I often come here to sit outside under the trees in front of the fire to hear Irish music or jazz or whatever they have on . I always liked it but when I decided to host an event here for 50 people I was simply blown away by how easy they were to work with, how delicious the catering was, the lovely convivial environment, and the reasonable pricing. This venue is exactly the right size for the number of people, has a good layout and flattering light and great service. I heartily recommend Belle Cora for both casual evenings out and for special events.“

“I am from Danville and decided to make the drive to SF to explore. After a long morning drive I decided to look for a good spot for drinks and food on a Sunday. I was skeptical at first but then the atmosphere and my server Mia made my time here worth the drive. The service provided by Mia was impeccable. She answered my dietary restriction questions about the menu, had good energy, and provided fast service. I will be stopping at Wilder the next time I am in the city from here on out!“

“Loved Binny's! We found this place on accident on a Thursday night, but it was a great find! The space feels intimate, not super busy, and it's super cute inside. The food is simple but really hits the spot, and the drinks are super delicious. The bartender and staff are super attentive, quick, and happy to modify based on taste. I really enjoyed the arugula salad and grilled cheese. The food wasn't too oily, especially the catfish bites, and they were super tender and fresh. There was also a good amount of vegetarians options too!If you get the chance to try anything, the shots are insanely good. This place was a great spot to end a crazy busy Thursday work night!“
