“Sodam good!!! Honestly did enjoy picking up some food from here. Tried most of the basics- stir fried fish cakes, couple kimbaps, chicken wings, tteokbokki, kimchi... their gochujang based sauces have a nice kick to them and I was loving the flavor. One thing that would be nice is if their items had a bit more included i.e., fish cakes is just that- stir fried with green/ onion would be great too! The shop is very cozy with a tiny dining area as well as takeout. And overall the place functions as a small restaurant/ mini-market for Korean goodies. Loved the friendly and prompt service and design of this place.“

“Came here for takeout for the super bowl and we were lucky enough to get squeezed in since they were so busy. Shared the medium fried chicken for 2 people which came with rice and salad. Got the soy garlic and spicy medium flavor. Both flavors kinda tasted similar. The spicy one tasted like the soy garlic but it was the perfect level of spice. The chicken was plump and moist, and perfectly crispy, even eating it after taking it home. It's expensive but I do appreciate the sides they give to make it a real meal. The salad was also light and delicious. A perfect compliment to the heavy wings!“

“Although Odagada specializes in chicken, we decided to come by since it's close to our house and we were craving Korean food.We got the shrimp fried rice, beef bulgogi bowl and kalguksoo. This fried rice was INSANELY GOOD. I don't care what else you get here but you HAVE TO GET THE FRIED RICE! Our table of 4 agreed we should've gotten another order of rice instead of bulgogi. Not that the bulgogi wasn't good, but this rice was just amazing. The bulgogi was great and had nice well balanced sides. The waiter said it was portioned out for once person, but I would highly recommend sharing. It's HUGE! Lastly, the kalguksoo was also great! Perfect for the cold weather that's coming in. The noodles are SO GOOD too! They are knife cut and have a perfect chewy texture. Overall, 11/10. Service was great, plenty of seating and amazing food. This place is underrated!“

“I would pass by World Wrapps many times whenever I went to City Center, wondering what food they had.It's a good thing I tried, because it's now my go-to place for great and healthy cuisine.They have a wide selection and even vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. The cost is reasonable, and the serving size is adequate.The only restaurant I could visit several times a week!“

“5 stars for service!! Staff was super attentive and quick & hardworking despite it being quite busy. Refilled our bonchons when it got empty without us asking, explained what different sauces/things were for.Food was pretty good. Ginseng chicken was a little bit dry for the chicken and lacking in ginseng, but this is in comparison to the ones I had in Korea. Tofu soup & seafood pancake were pretty good; had better elsewhere (not in the bay) but it does the job. Japchae was a little too elastic but had good taste! Slightly on the pricier end as well (tofu soup was $17.5)“

“Give a try this place from my friend recommendations and very impressive. Went there for a big group and tried many items on the menu. Japchae is a must!! And their purple rice is perfect cook. I got Galbijjim (Crazy Cow), it was delicious with reasonable price. Soft tofu soup is amazing and they have a good selection of kids menu too.No reservations, ONLY first come first serve!“

I wish their kimchi was a little spicier, but overall this was a stellar experience.If you're walking from the parking structure next to it, Google can be unhelpful because it'll only take you to the back of the building, but if you continue past the tailor's store in the side, you'll find it and won't be disappointed!“

“I was pleasantly surprised by this new Korean hot dog place. New, so the interior is spotless and plain but obviously focuses on takeaway sevice since there were only 2 tiny bistro tables and 4 chairs. The service was quick and friendly, patiently waiting as I decoded the new menu with so many options and combinations! The Mozzarella and sausage had a beautifully crisp lightly breaded exterior. The sausage was tasty, but the mozzarella was perfect - dense, rich and perfectly melted. So delicious, a lovely treat! The Monster Double was even better! The sausage and decadent mozzarella was wrapped with not only the light and crispy crust but topped by nacho cheese and shredded cheddar, then topped with pickled jalepeno peppers! I can't wait to try other options such as the potato cubes and the squid ink batter!“

“Pretty great option for chicken around here. I have always enjoyed Korean style chicken so when I saw options such as the honey butter or yangyum chicken here I definitely had to try it. Firstly, both the wings and drumsticks are huge and satisfying to eat. At its core it is great fried chicken with just the right amount of crunch without losing its juiciness. Flavor-wise I think both of these options are really good. The yangyum chicken, kind of wish had a bit more gochujang/garu smokiness to its flavor, tasted closer to tteokbokki type of sweet sauce and that added savory bite would have really hit my taste buds right. The honey butter chicken is equally great with a sweet and flavorful bite, though they only add just enough powder to get the flavor... would prefer it coated.Service is friendly and the front is simply a walk up counter, no dining in, etc. the pickled radish that comes with the chicken is better than alternatives I have been to but is still missing that refreshing bite that I have had in Korea.“

“Yummy. Not only BBQ - soups, fried rice, hot pot, noodles - all tasty. This is a low-key, friendly, small, family place - not flashy or necessarily silky service - be ready for that. Still, there was a long queue out the door the night I was there, which probably tells you what you need to know.“

Most places only give you 3-4 but they give you 9 here including all my favorites: pickled radish, seaweed, marinated cucumber, fish cake, bean sprouts and glazed potatoes. I also liked that they give the yellow Croaker with the soup as more places do not.“

“We had an assortment of dishes and shared all as one would family style. The sauces and ingredients were quality almost as good as we had overseas. What highlighted the key ingredient was the noodles. Better than most casual locales we’ve experienced. I couldn’t recollect the Korean dish names, but check the pics. After lunch, we came to the consensus that the dishes we had were better than expected. Our foodie has been to Santa Clara location as well and precedes that this location has better quality pork dishes. Hope someone will agree or have similar experiences. “We've been here several times now and really enjoy how flavorful the food is. Even our young kids really like it. My favorite are pretty much anything that's spicy, the hot sauce they use is delicious. My daughter likes the brisket and pretty much fills up on that over a rice bowl.My only complaint is how expensive it is. So we only go on special occasions or when we have the extra money for it.Atmosphere is beautifully lit and we enjoy sitting at the booth seating.Kid-friendliness: We bring our kids and they enjoy the food and helping on the grill.“

“Mama Cho's is a GREAT Castro Valley bistro that serves Korean American fare. Due to it's location, it's a hidden gem that deserves a visit whenever you're in the area. It does not disappoint! I tried the Kalbi Burger and KBBQ Plate - both are delicious. The store carries a lot of Korean food products on their shelves.
