“Wow, what a selection of ready-to-eat meals in which you can choose to microwave at the self-serve condiments & utensils area. Plus, it's a mini market for all your Indonesian cooking needs. Outdoor-only dining and parking is a little challenging.“
“The food is okay but the salsas are not too spicy. They need to do better tasty salsas.Service is not quite good , cashiers are never happy with their job, owners nee to pay them at least more or tell them the importance is to smile and give a good vibes.Atmosphere; is not too bad , besides that there's never parking lot and people are always in a hurry. The rest is good ?“
“For the price, you can't beat it...best bang for your buck and well worth it. Line seems big but goes quick. You might need to wait for 20ish mins for them to serve your food because of how busy it gets. This is a must if you are in California, and I recommend you even take a slight detour if you have to to try out the un n out. Also love yourself and get it animal style“
“I've been wanting to come here for the longest and I'm the only thing that makes me mad/sad is that I didn't visit sooner because WOW! Plenty of parking! Lots of seating, both indoor and outside. The entire place is clean and smells wonderful (not fried or stinky like other fast food joints). The employees were SUPER friendly and helped us navigate the kiosk and explained that we were welcome to get refills of the fountain drinks and were encouraged to try the different flavors.Everything was DELICIOUS! My husband ordered the holy guacamole burger, I got the California burrito with sweet potato fries and my children ordered the kids meal. One chicken nugget and one cheeseburger. The burrito was phenomenal! Very hearty and filling. Lots of flavor. And these had to be the best sweet potato fries ever! Perfectly cooked and fresh. I especially loved the drinks. The strawberry dragonfruit drink with black tea was so refreshing! The hibiscus one was stellar too!Amazing plant based fast food! Clean bathrooms. Ample parking. And they cater! This might be my new obsession prepare to be tired of seeing my face there lolDietary restrictions: Lots of vegan and vegetarian options, they also label things in case you have a nut allergy which I appreciate.Parking: Ample parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals and lots of seating/music.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and easy access“
“Been going here since the 90sKnows My BD and my daughter. When the Owner is there he knows their orders. And still taste Delicious My Favorite Pastrami Burrito With Everything and I tried the tacos Sooooooo Good Also they have Flavored Pickles but the flavor I wanted was out. Overall ❤️❤️❤️???“
“Finally got to get off and eat at this location, and as any other location, busy! Not a big deal as it's expected. Anyway I tried the flying Dutchman, protein style and did not disappoint!! I usually get a double double protein-animal style, but this was just as good. They did get my shake incorrect,I wanted a half vanilla/chocolate, and just got vanilla, regardless great burger and staff is awesome!“
“Manny the manager is the best! Everytime I go in and he is in charge, I already know my food is going to be great. He has amazing customer service, goes above and beyond for any allergy restrictions. I am grateful to know that I can come here and I will have a great experience. Thank you Manny from my family & I.“
“Really good food for the price being pretty low. Customer service was nice. They answered my question on a recommendation on what to eat which was very helpful. Just be aware that it's a small restaurant so seating is limited especially during the lunch rush. Besides that it's a great place to eat in or takeout.“
“It’s probably the only place to get a burger at a drive-through anymore. I haven’t had one for two years and it tastes exactly the same. At least you’re getting good food. If it Hass to be fast food, it’s got to be In and Out.Wheelchair accessibility: Just roll right in.“
“A Mediterranean Delight! This charming fast food restaurant is a true gem. Chef Harut's passion shines through in every incredible dish. The Grilled Mushroom Wrap is a must-try vegetarian delight, with flavorful grilled mushrooms wrapped in warm pita bread. And the chicken BBQ is outstanding – tender, juicy chicken marinated and grilled to perfection.Chef Harut's culinary talent is extraordinary. From the inviting atmosphere to the mouthwatering flavors, this cafe offers an authentic Mediterranean experience that will leave you completely satisfied. An absolute treasure for any food lover!“
“Doner Turco in North Hollywood is a hidden gem and offers a delightful ethnic food experience. I had the chicken wrap and it was an exceptional quality experience. The wrap combined perfectly cooked chicken gyro with fresh vegetables and savory sauces. The friendly and attentive staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, making it a convenient and accessible choice for locals and visitors alike. The restaurant's cleanliness is noticeable, creating a new options for the locals and visitors. Highly recommended!“
“All in all, the experience was good. The chicken was good, but not as good as I remember it as a boy. The service was good and the place was clean. I just don't believe rap music is the music I would be playing at a location like this.“
“Fave spot in LA and order here at least 2-3x a week. Best, most creamiest hummus I’ve had in my life. Rice is cooked to perfection every time. Both their salads are delicious and refreshing, Tabouleh Oaxaca Salad is a must try. Taco plate with chicken and cauliflower is my go-to. Everything is fresh and packed with flavor. Prices are affordable/reasonable and portions are perfect. Owners are super friendly and you can tell they put a lot of care and passion into their food.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian friendly.Parking: Has its own parking lot. About 7 spaces.“
“This place is fun. The gyros are piled full of meat. I have visited twice now. The people are nice and the place is clean. The only odd thing is that my fries tasted like fish. I noticed that they offer fish and chips, so you might want to keep the fries and fish in separate deep fryers.“
“Went on Thursday night around 7 pm and it was busy. The wait was not long though. I got the chili cheese fries with pastrami. This has been my go to for the past 10 years. It's so big it can serve 2-3 people. Seating is not the greatest. You have to get your table quick! This place is a must!“
“I always come for the hot dogs here. I remember when they were 1.50Now they're 5 bucksThey uae to be 2.50 right before covidFmlAnyways they use boarshead hot dogs. The only other place that uses boarshead is cupids but they're in the valley.“
“The food was delicious. We ordered 2 chicken tender combos with Buffalo sweet potato fries and chocalte curly fries. They were so good and the chicken was so crunchy! I also got a blueberry lemonade which was also good. It didn't have blueberry chunks but did have lemon wedges.“
“If you want a really good burger, this is definitely one of those spots you should put on your list. Fries are really good too. The wings were okay, could use more sauce and wish they were meatier but still good. Still have yet to try the onion rings but they look like they're pretty “
“Don’t shoot the messenger, but there’s no need to wait in line at In-N-Out ever again. Come to the Smash House. Great burgers, actually, flawless burgers, and five dollar Draft Modelo’s.Parking: Pull in market alley and park behind the cleaners. They share spots with smash house.“
“Delicious burgers with lots of options. Milkshakes are yummy. Sides are nice too. Several different iterations of fries. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. My go-to option when I want a mushroom burger. Also part of the five star network so you can sign in with your phone number and earn rewards.Wheelchair accessibility: One level mall with handicap spaces and ramps.“
“Lucky Boy in Pasadena is my ultimate go-to for an unbeatable breakfast burrito experience. The portions are generous, and the flavors are unparalleled. I always opt for the bacon burrito with grilled onions, and it never disappoints. Even after 15 years of patronage, the quality remains consistently excellent. While it’s a bit on the pricier side for a burrito, the size makes it perfect for sharing or enjoying as two separate meals. Plus, their chili cheese fries are to die for! The drive from Santa Clarita is totally worth it for this culinary delight. With options like sausage, bacon, chorizo, or veggie, there’s something for everyone at Lucky Boy. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Lucky Boy is a must-visit spot for breakfast aficionados.“
“You never go wrong eating at The Hat! Whether you're a burger or sandwich lover..you'll find something delicious to enjoy. If you love French fries..and who doesn't...The Hat has a variety of fries cooked to order... some to consider: pastrami fries, chili fries, chili-cheese fries, gravy-covered fries, and more.. plus any other toppings you can think of.. like onion, tomato, pickles... and it goes on and on. Enjoy!“
“Been here many times while living in E Pasadena. Moved away in 2018 and came back for the first time today. Quality of food always been consistent for me. Had the breakfast plate which is not hard to mess up. Potatoes perfectly seasoned. Only negative is the gal who rang me up at 7am…no greeting, no smile, sappy face, attitude. Never seen her before…ticket said “Manager,” on it. I hope not as she’s setting the standard there.“
“Hands down, the best, best birria tacos I've ever had!!I've been eyeing this taco truck for the longest time when I was looking for birria tacos. I missed the chance to go from the last time I came by. Many other taco vendors also recommend this truck for goat birria tacos. We got some goat birria quesatacos, labio taco dorados, which were lips, asada vampiro, and of course, gotta get consome. Not many places have goat birria, and most of the time, they tend to be too dry. Those quesatacos were super tender, juicy, cheesy, and packed with tons of spices and flavors. Dipping in the beefy, hardy consome, game over. I've never seen beef lips before, so I gotta give a try. It got the texture of beef tongue, also quite delicious. Like any other taco trucks and vendors, service is always impeccable. Everyone is very friendly and supportive to other vendors. I said it once, and I'm gonna say it again. The best birria tacos!!!“
“It's In-n-Out, you get the same experience no matter the location. Food is reliable and delicious. The drive thru can be reminiscent of trying to get into Disneyland parking though, which isn't a real bother because they have signs everywhere guiding you where to go next. Flying Dutchman (no salt unless you are part sea creature) grilled whole onion x2 with black coffee is a travelers delight. No chance of falling asleep with that combo. ;)Wheelchair accessibility: They always have wheel chair accessibility.“
“Double Chili Cheeseburger - two quarter pound patties, cheese, chili, tomato, pickles, onions, mustard / 5 ⭐!Chili Cheese Fries - 5 ⭐!Los Angeles and Southern California is the origin for a lot of iconic fast food chains. Some of them are destined to make it global while others flourish locally. One of the powerhouse local chains is Original Tommy's and the location at Beverly and Rampart is the first of their 32 locations throughout Los Angeles (and a few in Las Vegas). The original Original Tommy's sits on a sprawling corner lot with an overflow parking lot right next door so parking is quite easy. While lots of LA shuts down at night, Original Tommy's remains a 24 hour destination. They have a broad but simple menu which includes breakfast items (I hear their breakfast burrito is a great option). They do not have traditional seating. Instead, they have a variety of counters you can post up at to enjoy your meal. When I go, I focus on the chili cheeseburger. The one I had on this visit was a glorious, chili and cheese packed messy hamburger and I wouldn't want it any other way.The chili is filling and has a great, thick, meaty texture. The cheese can't help but melt everywhere and adds a rich, creamy flavor. The burger patties are well cooked. I love the thick slice tomato that sits on top, adding a cool crunch to the burger.Since chili is their staple and what makes them unique, I also got it on the fries. The fries are thick cut and when loaded up with a very generous serving of chili, it makes a great snack. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. I had my order within minutes of placing it and I enjoyed it fresh and piping hot, standing at one of their counters. If you have been in LA a while and haven't had Original Tommy's, you really should check them out. They have been serving LA for a long time for a very good reason!“
“I order from here constantly! The food scene here in LA is often underwhelming. Being from Chicago, I can attest to the fact that Juicy Js SLAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPS! I have tasted just about everything, it's all so delicious and reminds me of home. My favorites are definitely the Maxwell style polish, turkey burger and pizza puff. Always fresh, always hot!Y'all better get some of these eats!!!“
“This place is absolutely top notch! Love love love. The food was a hit! Every dish ordered was so delicious! I have found my new favorite place to eat! I would recommend this place 100%. The order was ready on time, the facility was very clean. A+++“
“Used to come here a LOT back in the late 90's early 2Ks. Moved away for a while and just happened to visit town again and went to Pete's. Some great things never change and I'm glad they haven't! Just authentic down to earth simple (but very large) menu! Hands down my favorite thing though is the pickled carrots! I don't know if I got older or what, but feels like they are more spicy than I remember...but still the best around! Felt very nostalgic when I got a chance to visit this time. I'll definitely make it a stop again next time I'm in town.“
“Tamsin is odd in that they are a particular kind of place a throwback to another time and it is that nostalgic element that brings people back. The menu is just the right amount of wrong. I suspect at some point they will have to embrace the nutritional social and environmental world it IS a part of but for now as a greasy spoon it spoons quite nicely“
“This place has a really good pastrami sandwich. They have special sodas you don't see often, and the sandwiches are always fat. I ordered a small fry and a small onion ring, and they were huge. The fries weren't too brag worthy, but the onion rings were crisp and delicious.“
“I've always tried to like Korean corn dogs, but I'm too biased towards having more meat and less batter in my corn dogs. They do offer full sausages at a premium, but still feels kinda small. Still, if you're someone who likes this kind of food, you'll enjoy the selection that they offer “
“Shake Shack - A Burger Lover's ParadiseI recently had the pleasure of dining at Shake Shack, and I must say, it was an absolute delight for any burger enthusiast. Shake Shack has made a name for itself in the burger industry, and after my experience, I can understand why.First and foremost, the burgers at Shake Shack are simply outstanding. The patties are juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Whether you prefer a classic cheeseburger or something more adventurous like their SmokeShack with bacon and cherry pepper relish, there is a burger option to satisfy every palate. The quality of the ingredients really shines through, with the meat being sourced from high-quality suppliers and the buns being soft and fresh. One aspect that sets Shake Shack apart from other burger joints is their commitment to using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Their lettuce, tomatoes, and other toppings are always crisp and vibrant, adding a refreshing crunch to each bite. The attention to detail in sourcing their ingredients is evident, and it elevates the overall dining experience.Aside from their exceptional burgers, Shake Shack also offers a range of delectable sides and beverages. Their crinkle-cut fries are addictive and perfectly seasoned, and their milkshakes are rich, creamy, and come in a variety of flavors. I highly recommend trying their signature ShackSauce, a tangy and savory condiment that adds an extra layer of flavor to any dish.In terms of ambiance, Shake Shack strikes a balance between casual and trendy. The modern and minimalist design of their restaurants creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite with friends or enjoying a meal with family, Shake Shack offers a relaxed setting that complements their delicious food. The service at Shake Shack is also worth mentioning. The staff members are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They are more than happy to assist with any questions or dietary restrictions, ensuring that every customer has a pleasant dining experience. While Shake Shack has gained popularity for its burgers, it is worth noting that their menu includes options for vegetarians and those with dietary restrictions. They offer a delectable mushroom burger and a variety of delightful salads, making it a suitable choice for a diverse group of diners. In conclusion, Shake Shack is a burger lover's paradise. With their exceptional burgers, fresh ingredients, and inviting atmosphere, Shake Shack has truly mastered the art of burger craftsmanship. Whether you're a local or a tourist, I highly recommend paying a visit to Shake Shack to indulge in one of their mouthwatering creations.“
“Wheelchair accessibility: 1 Step up into outdoor seating, there might be an out of the way ramp. Staff is nice tho, best to just ask for help if necessary. seating in the restaurant is either tight squeeze for some wheelchairs or tall barstool seating. Small bathroom but manageable.“
“Ok, I hadn't been here in years. To my surprise they are are still great. Burgers come with chopped lettuce, and you can ask for whole leaf. Get the fries with out salt and salt them yourself. They're pastrami is just as good as Lucky Boys or Tops.“
“One of the best spots for catering in LA! We’ve ordered 3 times now for team lunches and it’s consistently good, always a hit with our employees and clients. Ingredients are fresh and the portions are filling. Great options for vegan and gluten-free. Highly recommend!“
“I come here everyday for lunch! But to be honest I only come because of Berenice! She always shows interest in my life and she always gives me life advice! We need more people like Berenice! Thank you for always taking my order and for the free water that one time! (Didn't have enough money) see you soon!“
“The options on the menu are great. There are several items I wanted to try and opted for the mixed bento, combo bento and teriyaki chicken bowl. The service was quick and food was served fresh off the stove! The inside is spacious with several tables and seats. The parking situation can be somewhat difficult but there is paid parkingn lots and street parking along Pico, San Julian and surrounding streets.Parking: There is paid parking above the building“
“This is a good-enough burger joint with reasonable prices to make it worth patronizing. It's one of those "burger shack" places that has sit-down tables inside, but you order at a counter instead of there being waitpeople. But they will bring your food to your table instead of calling a number and making you walk over to get it. It's also one of those places that is staffed by Hispanics and serves Mexican food as well as American fast food. The workers were nice, especially the lady who brought my food to me. I ordered a burger combo plus a side, so I could try both their fries and their onion rings. The best thing was the onion rings. The batter was thick enough that the entire ring was coated with crust, and the crust was crispy. Most important, they weren't greasy at all. They were really good. 2nd-best were the fries; I'm not sure whether they were hand-cut (probably not), but among frozen fries, they were still good. The burger was decent enough; the meat was not poor grade, but wasn't up to the higher level of Fatburger or Five Guys or Shake Shack. They would have to raise their prices if they used a higher grade of beef, but I think they should consider doing so, because they would get a lot more customers who might otherwise eat at one of those other places. One unfortunate little drawback is the chairs that go with the tables; they're that odd metal type that have the weird narrow back-construct that cuts into your rear-end or the back part of your thighs, so they're not comfortable to sit in. They should replace those uncomfortable metal chairs with something that's much more comfortable. That would make people want to stay longer and want to come back more. This place is good enough, but it could be even better.“
“Zero ambiance but DAMNED good meat pies! It's small, seats maybe 20 ish diners total. I noticed they serve a lot of take out, there were many people coming and going as we sat there to eat. The food is super fresh. The dumplings and meat pies are made to order. You can watch them make them from your table (that's how small this place is!). They're quite no nonsense, it's very, give me your order, thanks, going to make them now. The food is delicious. We ordered: Lamb & green onion pancakes - juicy chopped or ground lamb. Very flavorful but not gamey at all. Fried buns - Good crispy pan fried bottoms, super soft on top but not so thick that it feels like there's more bun than meat. The pork is moist but not soupy and juice filled like you're used to. Pan fried pork & seafood dumplings - similarly juicy filling like the previous two but mixed with seafood. Good crunch on the bottom but no carby "lace" connecting them all. We parked right out on the street, 20 ft from the front door. In the evenings it's pretty easy as there's not a TON of other stores open in the surrounding area. Definitely eating here again...and again...and again.“
“Vegetarian options: My friend doesn't eat meat grilled cheese fries shake yummy gave extra cheese just becauseDietary restrictions: I love the burger fresh fries warm deliciousParking: I usually go to the drive thruKid-friendliness: Stickers The workers are so friendly happy full of spirit I love itWheelchair accessibility: Available parking“
“The best fast food can probably ever be. It’s not Five Guys but it’s pretty tasty. Get animal style on the burger and fries. Otherwise, the food tastes just a little bland. But fresh! Your animal style fries will probably be a big clumpy mess if you get them to go but they still taste good!“
“Absolutely love the food here, only complaint is that they play two different sets of music at each end of the shop so you can hear them both at once and it gets irritating. However, all the songs they play are perfect for the atmosphere, it would just be better if they weren’t playing over the top of each other.“
“I don't eat Imposisble burger unfortunately so I will not be eating the burgers here BUT... I love the vegan milkshakes and the 50/50 tater tot French fry combo !! Also.. the dipping sauces are so damn good !! The staff was friendly too :) thanks y'all !“
“This little place was such a vibe! The man working was so sweet and it was truly just a “feel good” homey atmosphere. && the FOOD?! 10/10 . This man made one hell of a sandwich ?I will definitely be coming back to this place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Came here with my wife since we were in the area. I have to say the tortas are exquisite. If you live by the area I'm sure yall know what I'm talking about. If you're in the area for whatever reason I would recommend to stop by and give it a shot. Everything on the menu seems delicious! Oh and finally the horchata was bomb. 10/10 well done Spanglish Kitchen.“
“Mega delicious burger, great sweet potato fries and even better service.Very good atmosphere in the team, you notice that as a customer!!We'll definitely be back!???Vegetarian options: Large selection of vegan dishes. Also vegan ice creamKid-friendliness: A small child gets a Play-Doh.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor“
“My son was craving shawarma so I chose this spot because of their ratings. The place was very clean and I liked how it was bright and very open! My son had already ordered and paid. I wanted a drink and paid cash. The gentleman preparing/cooking our meal was also the cashier. He accepted my cash (wearing gloves already) and placed in the register. He then proceeded to pick up a cucumber wearing the same gloves that he handled money with!!! I was fuckin appalled!!! I was like, " You better change your gloves!! You just touched money!!" Wtf!! How gross!!! Jayson and I discussed how even though the pandemic was a clear eye opener on how poor hygiene was another factor in invading someone's personal space! He was truly doing so, and I had to put on the brakes real quick!! The cook/cashier continued to complete our order. He was probably pissed off, but this is my food you're preparing and I would expect you to prepare my meal as you'd prepare your own! So I got the small beef shawarma plate. You have to specify if you want rice or fries. Later on I remembered to ask for fries, otherwise they'll give you rice. I gave that up for lent. The plate was much larger than expected! The cucumber salad was delicious. The hummus was good, but a little grainy. Perhaps it needed to be puréed a bit more. The shawarma was so soft and tasty, but the sauces were on point!! Both the garlic sauce and house sauce complimented each other! Fire I would have loved to have given 5 stars But well, you know!“
“This review only pertains to food pickup services. The Jr. staff are not versed in putting together pick-up service orders. I had to wait for a senior staff or manager to assemble my pickup order. This waist time which we are evaluated on. The junior staff drummed their fingers waiting for the next thing to do instead of putting my order together.“
