“This is a good-enough burger joint with reasonable prices to make it worth patronizing. It's one of those "burger shack" places that has sit-down tables inside, but you order at a counter instead of there being waitpeople. But they will bring your food to your table instead of calling a number and making you walk over to get it. It's also one of those places that is staffed by Hispanics and serves Mexican food as well as American fast food. The workers were nice, especially the lady who brought my food to me. I ordered a burger combo plus a side, so I could try both their fries and their onion rings. The best thing was the onion rings. The batter was thick enough that the entire ring was coated with crust, and the crust was crispy. Most important, they weren't greasy at all. They were really good. 2nd-best were the fries; I'm not sure whether they were hand-cut (probably not), but among frozen fries, they were still good. The burger was decent enough; the meat was not poor grade, but wasn't up to the higher level of Fatburger or Five Guys or Shake Shack. They would have to raise their prices if they used a higher grade of beef, but I think they should consider doing so, because they would get a lot more customers who might otherwise eat at one of those other places. One unfortunate little drawback is the chairs that go with the tables; they're that odd metal type that have the weird narrow back-construct that cuts into your rear-end or the back part of your thighs, so they're not comfortable to sit in. They should replace those uncomfortable metal chairs with something that's much more comfortable. That would make people want to stay longer and want to come back more. This place is good enough, but it could be even better.“

“My son was craving shawarma so I chose this spot because of their ratings. The place was very clean and I liked how it was bright and very open! My son had already ordered and paid. I wanted a drink and paid cash. The gentleman preparing/cooking our meal was also the cashier. He accepted my cash (wearing gloves already) and placed in the register. He then proceeded to pick up a cucumber wearing the same gloves that he handled money with!!! I was fuckin appalled!!! I was like, " You better change your gloves!! You just touched money!!" Wtf!! How gross!!! Jayson and I discussed how even though the pandemic was a clear eye opener on how poor hygiene was another factor in invading someone's personal space! He was truly doing so, and I had to put on the brakes real quick!! The cook/cashier continued to complete our order. He was probably pissed off, but this is my food you're preparing and I would expect you to prepare my meal as you'd prepare your own! So I got the small beef shawarma plate. You have to specify if you want rice or fries. Later on I remembered to ask for fries, otherwise they'll give you rice. I gave that up for lent. The plate was much larger than expected! The cucumber salad was delicious. The hummus was good, but a little grainy. Perhaps it needed to be puréed a bit more. The shawarma was so soft and tasty, but the sauces were on point!! Both the garlic sauce and house sauce complimented each other! Fire I would have loved to have given 5 stars But well, you know!“

It just happened to be their 57th anniversary - which they were celebrating by giving away free breakfast, which I didn't even know the served there. Congratulations to them! But I digress.... the family dinner I ordered was so good. Comes with 10 pcs chicken, 2 sides, and rolls. All of it was fresh, hot, and tasty. Best fried chicken around perfect coating. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I took it to go so I can't say much about the atmosphere. The lobby looks cool.. a little old fashioned, but I expect that from an almost 60 year old place...vintage-y . Just go. “Hands down this is probably the best breakfast burrito I have ever had! The steak is cooked perfectly well and there was a good amount of meat. The only thing is it's very pricey and they do not have avocados. I paid $19 or $20 for the breakfast burrito. It's convenient because they have a drive-thru. I called for pick up and when I pulled up I just paid at the drive-thru window. It was nice and hot! It was delicious. I would go back but not often only because it's too pricey. The most I have paid for a steak and/or steak and bacon breakfast burrito is $13 that's with avocados in my burrito“
“I have been here 2 times now and SPECTACULAR! I came once with my partner who is lactose intolerant but was craving a Philly cheesesteak. She said the tummy ache is more than worth it. I am here now a second time with my mom and we order the happy hour special. Delicious! I have tried like 5 different flavors for the wings and I love them all. The prices are good too I got all of this for 17 bucks. If I didn't have to go to work I'd order another beer. Can't wait to come back.“

I got there and went straight for the tender combo with a nice cold fountain Pepsi and a side of ranch. First I had the fries which is always a must. I don't understand anyone who don't go for the fries first I've met people who don't go for it first and they go for their let's say they get a burger then they get into their fries. Anyways I love them! They are shoestring and it was nice and crisp! I went to the tenders next and man it was so good! It was juicy and flavorful and it was descent sized too! I was struggling to finish the tenders but I did it haha My one gripe is that I wash the breading didn't fall out so fast like it came apart quickly after I picked it up but no biggie it was good anyways. The ambiance is whatever it was inside a mall so you'll be expecting a lot of talking and walking and such however I will say that the inside of the kitchen is well taken care of! “TLDR: Great hole in the wall, very kind people, either order the Yako Burger or get a bowl/plate. The Yakisito is underrated. The Yako burger is the best unique food item in a 5 mile radius. To see that this institution has anything less than 5 stars brings great sadness into my life. Yaki's has been a local mainstay for many years, I imagine that 90% of their business is teriyaki plates and bowls which they do very well and for a fair price. But I want to help put the word out there that there is something very special at Yaki's that many people don't see to know about, and it's the reason I've been coming my entire life: The Yako burger When family and friends come to town, they ask me "so what's a good local spot? Any cool unique food items I should know about" (verbatim). I tell them about the Yako. An item that, while on paper sounds like the bad dream of a 7th grader, never ever ceases to satisfy. A giant burger with no frills. Bun, raw section of onion, a pile of too good to be true chicken (thigh), cheese (this is where people make a face but it's actually a perfect choice), patty, and all covered some special sauce. The burger is very tasty, filling, and reasonably priced. Cant go wrong with any bowl/plate either The ladies behind the counter are beautiful people, extremely kind, and wonderful cooks. Owner is cool guy, met him once, he definitely cares. Critical section: the non yako burgers are alright, nothing to call home about. They should be pushing the Yako the way they push the bulldog. The bull dog could be good in theory but both the cheese and dog taste like 1000x markup. The bulldog is, aesthetically, at best, a guilty pleasure. The Yako in contrast, is hearty, sturdy, a *sandwich*, something someone can believe in. Also, eventually someone should make the door handle on the men's restroom match that on the women's, so they're both lever style. So when I go to wash my post-yako hands I can open the door easily.“
