“Having a delicious dinner, an excellent view, an excellent atmosphere with very professional service was one of the best experiences I have ever had in this type of restaurant. I highly recommend it, especially because of the explosive flavors of the food, something that you are not normally used to but something that you will love and can become addicted to.“

“Best Peruvian food I've ever had! Their ceviche mixto is insanely flavorful!! I like to get it with no spice and get the spice on the side to add to taste, but if you can handle spicy then get it spicy and enjoy!! The fish is so soft and all the other seafood compliments each other well with the yummy sour lime taste. The mini sides of choclo (sweet corn), cancha (corn kernels), and sweet potato add so much texture and flavor to the overall dish. Definitely a must try! Lots of their other dishes are really delicious as well, so feel free to try them as well. Plus the bread the serve while you wait for your food is freshly baked and warm, and their green aji verde sauce is phenomenal!! ?“

“Omg, i don't care where you've had asada fries from because this place is hands down another level of flavor. It's my first time here and I had the lomo saltado fries and an Inca cola and i have nothing but great things to say about the flavors that are throughout the whole plate, the steak in the fries was super high quality and tender as can be. 10 out 0f 10 for this place. You must try.“

“This is a authentic Peruvian friendly and family oriented restaurant in LA. The Loma Saltado doesn’t even need extra salt. It is well seasoned and the flavors are on point. The owner has been in the area for 40 years and people have come to this place for a homie meal.“

“A bad experience at the green chili, they served us cold food, I spoke to the owner or manager and he told me with a mocking tone, there is a lady who told me to eat it because it has to be cold, it wasn't even polite and he never said we can heat it up like this that we will never return to that place.“

“Come earlier to avoid the long waiting time. The waitress is so kind of changing tables for us, because we ordered too much to fit the two person table So, the food comes with large service, order less beginning, add more if necessary. Very pleasant vibes ?. Love it!“

“Looking back at some of my favorite meals of 2023 and Chifa is high on the list. I went in skeptical because growing up this place used to be a pet shop! The place is now obviously completely renovated and the food is absolutely incredible. I was not expecting to love it this much, I find myself craving the Lomo Saltado and I’m not even a big red meat fan to begin with. Veggies and noodles had tons of yummy flavor. Definitely worth a try!“

“So this wasnt my first time trying Peruvian food, and my girlfriend and I were super excited that we got recommended this place as a “must try”. Once we got there we got greeted and welcomed from the staff and everyone seemed happy to be there.Food wise: the food was AMAZING. I HIGHLY recommend the food. The ceviche was crazy, the QUALITY was definitely noticeable and they stuffed it with shrimp. The pollo was really juicy and super flavorful. Just imaging your momma or poppa making this type quality. The sauces… sheesh. I was mind blown to learn that they are all literally hand made every morning by the owners. You dont find that anywhere else. The salad and dressing was so good. Super fresh. And last but not least. The Lomo Saltado. This deserves a whole review on its own. This mixed with the green sauce is top foods in Pasadena easily. Highly highly recommend it. But, for the absolute best trio, get the ceviche, pollo, and lomo all together. The drinks were really good as well and super fresh. Coming to this restaurant will definitely be that one choice you make that you will be glad you did. The owners are awesome and super caring as well. Lovely addition to Pasadena.Pa. Look at how fresh and perfect that avocado is ??♂️“

“I’m a tow truck driver , I was passing by and saw this place and decided to eat, best decision I made customer service is good and the prices are ridiculously cheap How much is the should I get? How much is for 13 dollars can’t beat that in LA!!“

“I was in the area and had to stop at a 7-11 because I was thirsty. Then I was like hmm.. I'm hungry too. I remember walking right pass this place. It smelled bomb. So I walk back and saw Peruvian food on the window. Then I said why not try it out. Man.... When I took a bite my mouth watered. Mmm sooo bomb I had thelomo saltado. Till this day I can't stop thinking about it.“

“The place was clean and well kept. The server was friendly, attentive, service with a smile. The food was fantastic. We were a group of 7. Everyone loved their dish. My only gripe was that everything was very slow. Don’t go if you’re in a hurry. It was not the fault of the staff. Management needs more people. It took a long time for the overwhelmed server to get to us. There were a lot of customers and only one person taking orders and bringing food out. And there was only one cook. Then it took a long time to get our food.“

“Really nice waiter attended us. We came here because loaded cafe had nobody attending guests. It was a cute little typical hispanic place. Restroom is through the kitchen which is pretty unhygienic but whatever. Fresh ingredients and food was flavorful except for the eggs but overall solid. Pupusas were huge but I didn't try them.“

“Giving it a four as the food quality was not the same my second time as the first. Got lomo saltado and leche de Tigre ceviche the first time. The lomo saltado was tasty and the Leche De Tigre had INSANE flavor...lime that will punch you in the face yet make you happy as well as a perfect compliment with their warm bread. Second time there I got the leche de Tigre again and this time for tallarin verde de carne. The pesto topped spaghetti lacked any real depth of flavor and this time the leche de Tigre was OVERLY salty. It was still edible, but barely to both me and my date. They bring out your food on a cute/funny robotic panda that has trays built into it which is kinda a neat touch... it's a humble establishment, but good vibes and I will return to try it out again.“

“It's worth a try! ?I ordered the 1/4 dark meat grilled chicken, with garlic rice and salad. It was great! The chicken was very soft and well seasoned (for a moment I felt like I was in the typical Peruvian chicken shop), I was also very surprised by how well it went with the rice and finally the salad was fresh and had quite a few colors. For someone who has been disappointed many times trying grilled chicken in different restaurants, I was more than satisfied. If you are in Downtown LA you have to give it a try.I'm definitely coming back!“

“I had the Lomo Saltado with beef. The beef was perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, abundantly flavorful & the fries were also spot on. Not saturated at all, very crispy & fresh. A delicious Inca Cola to wash it all down with is the absolute perfect pairing for this dish in my opinion ??“

“I grew up nearby and I have never been and now I regret not finding this place sooner!! I found this spot on Yelp. THANK YOU YELP!! It's soooooo good. We were looking for a restaurant that was sort of in the middle of us and friends in Whittier. And I am incredibly glad we find it. Their food is really good. The restaurant had tons of seating and I love the decor, and the staff is so nice! I ordered the lomo saltado, my husband ordered the aji de gallina and our friend ordered the chaufa marisco. We were all so happy with our meals!! And A+ for a kids menu! I cannot wait to go back the next time I am in town.“

“The Peruvian Chicken was roasted to perfection, the rice and beans also good but the green sauce was really bomb. It comes with warm bread and butter, that's was so cool. Highly recommend trying this small restaurant out, you'll love it!“

“Stumbled upon this place randomly while shopping in the fashion district. The service was good but the food was GREAT! Absolutely loved the Camarones Saltado! It was served hot and absolutely delicious. I will come back again and again. This is my new go-to for Peruvian. :)“

“I ordered the rotisserie Peruvian chicken. It was seasoned to perfection. It comes with a large salad and french fries. The chicken is five out of five stars and the salad is fresh. The fries poorly seasoned and taste fresh out of the freezer and a true disappointment. I have ordered take out four times and I am very surprised the place very clean , a bit run down, but near empty. I believe the $27 rotisserie chicken dinner special is over priced for the local market.“

“10 min walk from union station and boy was this place like the reviews. I had the ceviche tostada and lomo saltado both with shrimp. ?? Both did not disappoint. The tangyness from the line in the shrimp was especially refreshing. And lomo saltado never disappoints. Crisp fri s loaded with veggies mmm I cannot wait to return. They also let me sit even though they closed in 30 minutes, very gracious. Don't walk run to Intiraymi.“

“Food was amazing, true authentic Peruvian food.Everything was seasoned to perfection. Only thing is the food is pricey. Someone would think coming to this location a plate would be $12-16 due to the location and also restaurant appearance.Plates are about $24-$40 depending on what your order but food is delicious.“

“No frills, delicious Peruvian food spot at the same price point as El Pollo Loco. I order the pollo a la brasa and the Jalea mixta - both are bomb. Nearby Yelp favorite Rosty is literally double the price for a whole pollo and the quality is not profoundly better. Ive been here about 5 times now and the food and service is consistent. Given that I'm not sure why this place doesn't have much better reviews, but thankfully the demographic that eats here doesn't seem to rely on Yelp.“

“You know the place is legit and authentic when they are committing to speaking to me and my party in Spanish despite none of being visibly from a Spanish speaking ethnicity. The servers were kind and helpful, and very quick with delivery. The food is absolutely delicious - I strongly recommend getting the aji de gallina. One of the best I've had.“

“Wow. Just WOW! I found this place through Postmates. I was ordering from a Peruvian restaurant 6 miles away and paying 6 dollar delivery on top of fees, because I couldn't find a good, Peruvian restaurant near DTLA. Until I found Mi Patria! Laaaaaaawd I am so happy that I did! I ordered a fish ceviche, and Peruvian beans. Amazing. Big portions and the Ají green sauce is FIRE! So good! I cannot wait to order from here again, soon. Also, I called the restaurant after placing my order to make some adjustments to my meal, the woman was very nice, super friendly, and my food was perfect.“

“They never fail me here. The chaufa is always good, good portions for the price & chunky. I don't even go to the Chinese spot for fried rice anymore, I go to Hornero's! I get the veggie chaufa, plantanos, fries, aqua frescas & they green sauce.“

“This is a hidden gem! The place is so clean and the customer service is impeccable! So friendly, attentive, and gave great suggestions! This was the first time I’ve eaten Peruvian cuisine, and I can’t express in words the freshness of the choros a la chalaca and does not have a fishy taste, the yuca fries were crispy, fresh, and had no oily taste, the Chicha Morada drink is so refreshing with a hint of cinnamon, and the Cielo’ Mar y Tierra was magnificent! The quality of beef, chicken, and shrimp was exceptional. The rice was firm yet fluffy, and vegetables were grilled to perfection! You gotta try it! It tastes like someone enjoyed cooking and made it with love!“

“super cute spot me and my pals decided to check out that really deliverable on the meal the green rice soup was an absolute god send & the yucca was like a tasty thick french fry my table ordered 2 bistec a lo pobre (the meat dish with fried egg, rice, & fries) , arroz chaufa de pollo (some bread? chicken situation) , & tallarin saltado de camarones (a shrimp noodle dish) the group was satisfied with their meals although a bit salty but TASTY nonetheless sad they were out of the purple corn drink i just wanna know the taste also sad i don't know the latin American way to order an over easy egg I think it's credibly important to note that our waiter was the only one working thus he prepared all four of my groups meals now that's some honorable hard working business man moves PLEASE PLEASE NOTE THAT if you pay with card you can not tip on card so PLEASE BRING CASH FOR TIP“

“We ordered grilled chicken, loinSaltado and sausage when they bring us the last minute orders they tell us that there is no longer any grilled chicken to prepare the sausage, and my son had to order another dish, this made me uncomfortable because I think they should anticipate this type of situation.Well, regarding the flavor, the chicken was very pleasant, the loin was not bad.“
