“Oh my god, the food here was incredible. I got the smoked salmon dip and had no idea what to expect, but I'm so glad we got it because it was delicious and incredible - nothing I've ever had before. For entree, I got the meatballs. It was a little dry but I didn't mind the dryness at all. I really loved the berry sauce that coated it. My friend had the venison steak and I tried a piece and it was mind-blowingly delicious, and it was incredibly well-seasoned. The service was incredible. Our waitresses were so sweet and everything. “Curry pizza house has really good Indian and traditional pizzas. The malai chicken pizza is so good! They don’t skimp on toppings. My pizzas were ready in 15 minutes. Customer service is great. Veronica is very sweet and helpful. Definitely going back to try more flavors.“

It almost goes without saying that this is not grocery store rotisserie chicken. You actually get crispy skin here, non generic seasoning and nosiness throughout. It's also served with fresh mint and cilantro, and all the chimichurri you can stand. The sides are impeccable with next level roasted broccoli and Brussels, both also served with herbs and bright sauces. All wrapped it up with really great service. Date night-level ambiance too! Only thing is you need to be ready for stinky leftovers because the amount of cruciferous veggies (cauliflower, sprouts, broccoli) you can get, but it's worth it.“

“This is more about the management side of things. I honestly didn’t have the BEST experience with them on my last order. BUT, they went out of there way to fix things. They are new in Oakland, just getting the operation together and I’m happy to see them there. They aren’t the cheapest but, I don’t want the Dominoes or Pizza Hutt experience (or quality) and if I pay a little extra for food, I want good service to follow. We decided to do a bulk order for my daughter's 2nd birthday, as the hand-held nature of the food and delicious flavors seemed like it would be a fun and easy option. “As a pizza connoisseur, when I heard about Roman style pizza, 'pinsa', with a different dough, I was immediately curious. As they note on their website, pinsa dough is made from a combination of soy flour, rice flour, and wheat flour, creating a crust that is light yet crunchy and satisfying.We ordered the Formaggio di Capra e Spinaci for some greens to go with, and then got the Quattro Formaggi and Prosciutto e Fichi for our pinsas.I find salads from pizza places to be very hit or miss; and Gusto Pinsa's salad was certainly a hit. The salad was perfectly dressed - it had a ton of flavor with the dressing, tomatoes, goat cheese, cranberries and walnuts coming together to provide an interesting textural contrast, with a nice hit of black pepper.The pinsas were the star of the meal though, as expected. Although I'm not the biggest fan of cheese only pizzas, the Quattro Formaggi was excellent! It was super cheesy and salty (in the perfect way), and the splotches of sauce provided nice balance to the saltiness of the cheese.The Prosciutto e Fichi was the preferred pinsa by myself and my partner, with the prosciutto and fig glaze providing a nice saltiness and sweetness that contrasted very well with the Quattro Formaggi.If you haven't tried Roman style pinsa yet, what are you waiting for? These pinsas were delicious and somehow felt much lighter than eating a regular pizza. We will be back!“

“Stopped in to order take out after passing this place daily. The place is no frills but clean. I ordered the Shawarma time salad. The menu doesn't have a description of the salad but it's cucumber, tomato, radish, onion and cabbage with lots of sumac, then covered in chicken and beef shawarma. It was great. I was starving so I got the large salad. They didn't skimp on the protein. It's great to have a healthy lunch option in the area. I'll be back to try the plates and wraps!“
