“This is a very cute and loved (family owned?) Cafe. They have good coffee, and probably 15 kinds of homemade Turkish delights. Absolutely worth a try, as well as their other sweets. This place really feels well loved by the owners, and the care they took to decorate it and create an ambiance is really impressive (even if Pink is not your color).Pro tip: ask them to make you a Rose Matcha Latte. It's not officially on the menu but delicious“

“Such an amazing unassuming bakery full of delicious decadence. All the French and Algerian pastries are so beautiful but the flavor of the Turkish delights are beyond good!! The chai latte was the best I've had and the Turkish coffee is strong and good. If you're in the area I definitely recommended supporting this family run small business.“

“Some of the best coffee within a mile or so and definitely a nice hidden quiet but small spot to sit away from the bustle. They’re almond cookies are a great gluten free option. But everything else is amazing as well.A small business with a talented baker, not just another chain. Come support them!Don’t know why it doesn’t pop up on Google when you search for “coffee shops” near by though. Strange.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free option“

“Very impressed with their tiny breakfast burrito - had the chorizo and veggie versions on a recent visit. Couldn't taste as much of the chorizo as other places, so maybe they could add a little more for a better flavor kick? Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and WOC-owned...look forward to trying more of their menu. Support this small business if you're in the neighborhood!“
“I was killing time in the neighborhood, so decided to try Jerusalem coffee. I ordered a orange blossom latte. I really like it. I had to go with whole milk, but the flavor was very good. Could definitely taste the orange blossom. Unfortunately, they don't have decaf so I had to take a chance. he did offer me a single shot, I like my coffee strong. The service was good. The ambience is casual.“

“Boichik is a weekly favorite of mine. You can't go wrong with your choice of bagel, although pumpernickel caraway salt is currently my top choice. The coffee's good too, hot or iced. On top of everything, everyone who works there is super, super nice. SPECIAL SHOUT OUT to Lisa! She always makes my day and never fails to brighten up the room :)Last thing to keep in mind for the uninitiated: there's limited seating (especially when it's raining -- there are just 4 tables inside) and the bagels tend to get sold out before 11:30-12 on the weekend.Vegetarian options: They have vegan cream cheese (plain, strawberry, or chive) and several of their bagels are inherently vegan. Vegan creamer is available as well.“
“This coffee cart is literally on the water and is my main motivator to get out for a walk around the marina on the weekends. The owner is really kind and easy to chat with. He's clearly knowledgeable about coffee and passionate about connecting with his customers. I am so grateful to have good coffee in a place that gets me outside!!“

“Hidden Cafe can try to hide, but I find it every time. I'm glad their employees don't hide, even though I do love playing hide & seek. I don't think I would enjoy it as much if the only way I could get my coffee from here is by finding the hidden employees at hidden cafe. Trying to find a barista to order coffee, before I've had coffee, sounds daunting. Although, it would make that cup of joe so much more rewarding. Honestly, if the employees did start hiding, I'd still go here. That's how good their coffee and carrot cake is and how confident I am in my seeking abilities. Luckily, this is something I haven't had to face. All the employees here are extremely friendly and very easy to find. I'm happy that Hidden Cafe is not good enough at hiding to the point where it would run itself out of business. I love going here!“

“LOVE LOVE LOVE. The BESTTTT hot chocolate in all of Berkeley and can confidently say that I've had in my life. I've been going here for probably 3 years when I need a pick me up or craving chocolate and have never been disappointed. I've tried their hot chocolates, their coffees (the mocha is amazing), their pastries, you literally cannot go wrong. Everyone there is so sweet, have never had a bad experience. It's really small inside, always pretty crowded with people studying or reading. It's a bit of a hike from campus but worth it.“

“Great customer service! I like the different options of donut flavors such as horchata, pistachio, and ube. Wish they had more vegan or even gluten free options. If they offered mochi donuts (rice is gluten free/friendly) that would make this place a one stop shop.“

“I absolutely love this place! The staff are so kind and friendly, excellent capuccinos (no sizes -- the correct way to make them), it's in one of my favorite nurserys and also has cute tables in the garden if you want to sit. I also think the pastry selection is spot on.“

“This time i tried the rich and roasty latte with espresso cream. It's amazing. I also got the banana bread pudding. Omg it's so sinful! I'm amazed at how fast they make the matcha drinks, since they're more complicated than coffee.“

“If you are going to LabCorp on Solano and you have to fast, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping into this place to get a breakfast sammy after your blood draw is over. Friendly service, no wait, and a tasty egg sandwich at a reasonable price. I've been shopping and dining on Solano since I was a teenager and I had never clocked this place, but I am so glad I did. Just me, a quiet magazine, breakfast, and glad to be done with my blood draw. The perfect combo. Thanks for the great sandwich!“

“I'd been curious about this place for years, super cute looking. The Orange Blossom Latte was so delicious and smooth and I was able to order it dairy free (with oat milk- best brand of oat milk too) which was perfect for my gut. The atmosphere is perfect for a date, catching up with a friend, getting some work done, or just sitting with a drink. Very pleasant and friendly staff and they were fast too. Definitely will want to come back.“

“Love this place so much. My favorite cafe. They have so many yummy options so they're great for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Every drink I've tried has been delicious. And the employees are so nice, they usually remember my favorite orders and are always upbeat.Plus, if I don't hear them call my drink, or they can tell I'm working, they'll bring it to my table. Usually you have to go get the drink from the counter so I appreciate them taking the extra time when I'm distracted.Lots of outlets and different seating. Great for working or bringing friends. Just all around great!“

“Good atmosphere and good chicken pesto panini. If they had blended coffee drinks with a silent blender, it would be much better. But still worth itParking: Not a lot of parking options. “Nick’s Pizza is my favorite pizza in all of the Bay Area. Their pastries and bread and sandwiches are great as well. Their classics are amazing, but I have to go at least monthly just to try the seasonal options. Whenever I want pizza, Nick’s is the go-to!“

“I've always enjoyed the service and coffee here! Sandwiches are pricey but so good so I still get them. I'm not sure how often they do this but I bought a bag of coffee and got a drink for free once and that was nice. It's very open and roomy so plenty of space to do some work. Big windows to let light in and parking was too hard to find.“

“Last night, my daughter and my wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a really nice dessert after dinner we decided to go again to happy donut. We have our faves there. I decided to treat everyone and my choice was I have to say that they make the best apple fritter anywhere and having a cuppa coffee in the morning may sound like a bit of a sugar overload but it's my happy place . we didn't stop there. I also bought regular donuts bars and cream puffs and you just get started. You can't stop.. It's locally owned and operated and the quality always seems to be there and they seem to be sold out if you go there too late of all the faves that everyone likes so it's a pretty popular place for people to show up . Fortunately we got everything we wanted and we're very happy.“

“I wish I could give more than five stars. I reached out to Tonya to see if we could get pizza making lessons with a small group of friends (because the pizza at Anaviv's Table is so good). Tonya was enthusiastic and flexible about helping me set up the event. The event was run by Darren with help from Siyoon. Darren was patient, engaging, and deeply knowledgeable. He guided us through every step of the process, giving us tips and tricks along the way, and by the end we had both a lot of pizzas to enjoy right then and plenty of dough to bring home to make more ourselves. Siyoon helped everything run smoothly so that we could all have a good time, and as a parting gift, gave us each a saffron lemon bar to take home with us.My wife and I have always enjoyed visiting Anaviv's Table in all of its incarnations. We're excited about how they continue to grow, and just so impressed by everyone on their staff.Thank you!“

“Love this spot! There’s always a delicious pastry or 3 available, boichik bagels with vegan schmear options, and they had HAND PIES the other day from Edith’s Pie (like a guest pop up situation I’m guessing?) “I've eaten their bread and croutons many times, but this is my first visit to the bakery. The public area in the front is rather small. If you're still COVID paranoid, this isn't a good spot. The people working were very nice and helpful. I asked for the sourest bread they had. I thought it was the rustic sour, but no, they recommended the sourdough batard. Bread was excellent, but still not sour enough for me. Then again, nobody makes sourdough sour enough for me.“

“The coffee is good but $6 for a 12oz? (Regular latte with whole milk no syrups). I have been twice and the first time there was a long line out the door and the second time a much shorter line. The coffee is super good and I think it's a great place to go on the weekend and sit outside if it's nice! I don't think it'll be my go to coffee place though because of the price.
