“Amazing place, a bit unexpected when you drive by. Ihad great moments and made best friends. Cocktails are best in region! Try!”
“Just amazing. Pop-up street food doesn’t get better than this.”
“Cool atmosphere, the staff is nice, the food is good and the drinks are the bomb! On given days they have karaoke and live music. Overall I would highly recommend especially if you're looking for a soul food spot.
Enjoy!”

“We had the chicken biriyani and litti chokha. Its really good. They are very close to the authentic taste. The chicken biriyani here is lucknow style which is a bit rare to find in the east bay. Irrespective of that detail, the biriyani is really amazing.
Portions and service, really good.
p.s: if you get a patio seat on a sunny day, you get a nice view of the bay and the Golden Gate bridge.”
“The server was really nice but tables were really sticky, bathroom was dirty and they were sadly out of everything on tap, I had to get a bottled beer, they were also out of the bottled beer I chose, so I had to change that too. Probably won't be going back to Hidden Spot/Hometown Heroes.”
“a little expensive for hot pot- but the nice new restaurant feel and the quality of food makes up for it. The meat lover combo for $65 was plenty for two people. Service would really only show up when you placed a new order, and it was a little weird not to receive spoons or bowls (there is a separate self-serve counter for this and sauces) but besides that they were fine. Only rank atmosphere low due to a large amount of families with loud kids wandering the restaurant... cest la vie.”

“One of our favorite places to grab coffee and a bite! The staff is really friendly and the cafe itself is cozy and comfortable. It's spacious and there's plenty of parking across the street, sound the corner, and they have 15 minute parking out front. Highly recommend the white chocolate mocha and chicken El Fuego sandwich!”

“I finally got to try the dishes here and I am not disappointed.
I got the soup and it was just right amount of jalapeños for the spice. I lobe the simplistic it had, but it was still tasty ?
I also tried the island poke dish and it was very delicious as well.
I like how you have options for the rice or a salad base, or both.
Very flavorful and right amount of sauces.
I am looking forward to trying more dishes as time goes by.”
“great service and hospitality love there food will always come back .”

“Exhausted from our family hike, we turned to Google for sustenance. This charming restaurant welcomed us warmly, quickly seating us and thoughtfully switching the channel to a children's program.
Our server was kind and attentive. The food arrived promptly, and my wife was particularly pleased with her gluten-free bánh mì sandwich. Our children, with gusto, consumed their chicken tenders, wings, and fries. We'll be back.”
“Our first visit but absolutely not our last! What delicious flavors! Everyone loved their desserts, the toppings are incredible (vegan hot fudge, vegan caramel, toasted almonds,) and we all left full and happy! Definitely stop in when you’re in the neighborhood!”
“We had dinner there tonight (3/14/24) for the first time and we will be back. Two of the most interesting and truly delicious sandwiches we have ever eaten. I can't remember what mine was called, but it had chicken (roasted perfectly), sauerkraut, cheese and other awesome stuff on a grilled rye bread that was excellent. My bride had the turkey sandwich and loved it. But the star of the show were the Tater Tots. Perfectly crisp with BBQ sauce to dip them in and then into some wonderful real bacon bits. Every tot stayed crisp from the first to the last. The meal was worth every penny and more. Get into the Alameda location and try it. You won't be sorry. PS: The only bad part for me is that we live in Seattle and won't be back down until May. But you can bet I will be eating here then.”
“Been ordering from Jungdon for a while now and figured it's time for a review. I always order one of their Deluxe sets - Anshim is my go to and Deungshim is 2nd fav since I like my katsu a bit chewy. Tried the chicken and cheese katsu too but they're just ok imo.
~$30 a set sounds high at first but I can easily have it over 2-3 meals, which is awesome.
Flavor is also consistent - Always love how the potato salad, cabbage slaw, sauces and katsu come together! Miso soup is a great addition too given East Bay is quite often a bit cold.”

“The atmosphere is amazing. It's a combination of cozy and white table cloth.
Just enough menu selections to have something for everyone . Not sure about a kids menu, I didn't see one.
Meatballs and pasta were very good. Nice wine selection as well as a healthy selection of bourbon and other spirits.
Great place for a date night or watching a game. They had a TV at the bar with a game in when we were there.”
“I recently dined at Cassave Restaurant, a charming hole-in-the-wall Mexican eatery in Emeryville. Despite its small size, it seems to be a popular spot for take-out comfort food.
I tried the fish tacos and pupusas. The fish tacos were excellent, with fresh fish and ingredients that really stood out. The pupusas were authentically made, though I would have preferred a bit more stuffing. The zucchini pupusa was particularly flavorful compared to the plain cheese ones.
The service was quick, and the owners were extremely friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. The only downside was the lack of spicier sauces, which I didn’t ask for but would have preferred.
Overall, I would definitely visit again if I’m in the area.”
“Great service! Attentive, friendly and hospitable! The food was fresh and delicious. Pool table was good and the place was spacious. Clean bathrooms. My comments are, gotta have a bigger alcohol selection or at least offer what you have on the menu. For a Friday night I think the lovely lady attending to everyone from check in, bar tending and serving did a great job all be herself! You are lucky to have her. This is coming from a small business owner that knows all the struggles. When my people call out, I am there to cover so Please get her some help ;-)
Another thing to note is the security guard was just wonderful in helping us find a space to park our van and great attitude in keeping it all safe. We had a wonderful time and will be back for sure! Thank you for the hospitality and great vibes!”
“Great food. They use really good quality ingredients in generous proportions. The various recipes are solid. They get all of the custom pizzas and requests correct each time. The crust is crispy and enjoyable almost every time. It is not a cracker thin crust, but a normal "thin" crust - as opposed to a pan crust. I definitely don't prefer their pan crust. It throws the proportions of the pizza off somehow. And I normally can enjoy a good pan crust. But everything else is very good. Salads are well made with quality ingredients and generous toppings. Wings are better than average. They serve Ken's Steakhouse brand dressings and dipping sauces. So bonus there. Giant cookie and giant brownie were definitely very solid overall. So double bonus there for anyone left with space for dessert. They only use the Slice App which is cool. But they do have a spendy flat rate delivery fee which is not okay if you only want to order 1 or 2 things. But if you order quite a bit of food with leftovers in mind. Then the delivery fee makes sense. They do have some good coupons / specials available in the app which can definitely help you save a bunch of $. They do have one serious downside however, the store keeps 100 percent of the tips given thru the app. The delivery driver gets $0 of the tip money. I have heard this now from multiple delivery drivers. This is really crappy and un-ethical in my view. Especially since there is already a "cost of living" type fee added the order in addition to delivery fee. So for right now, I am tipping only using cash. Delivery is always faster than estimated plus the drivers are good and friendly. Hot food is always hot and cold food is still cold etc. They also have late night delivery hours - which is super important to those of us wired for 2nd and 3rd shifts. I am currently trying other pizza places to see if I can find one equally as good with out the ethics problem. But so far, no dice. I will update this review if I discover one.
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free crust option available.
Kid-friendliness: Good kid friendly food options.”

“Excellent food! Even so good that we went back the next night for more!
We ordered brisket, hot links, ribs, and
potato salad the first night. All super good. Great flavor! Mild bbq sauce is really good. The next night we went back for brisket, chicken and Mac-n-cheese. Oh, and the cornbread is yummy!”
“love this bodega - my weekly lunch spot! They make great custom sandos (wayyyy better than subway y'all!) and have good premade sandwiches to go too
Vegetarian options: Custom sandwiches
Parking: street parking, paid parking
Kid-friendliness: grass to run around
Wheelchair accessibility: looks accessible (no bathroom)”

“Chinatown can be a daunting place to dine in San Francisco due to its vast authentic cuisine which is unlike anything outside of China itself. I don’t speak or read any of the dialect, but somehow managed to order food and drink that was delicious. I’m pretty sure that we created much amusement for the other diners who were rather interested in the ‘foreigners’ selections. Hey, we’re tourists from the UK enjoying our adventures and are used to ridicule thanks to our lousy corrupt government, it was no big deal. Chinatown, great cuisine in very different surroundings. Highly recommended.”
“the atmosphere is great and I love their 49 rolls! I usually go in a group because the food is very filling!”
“I was really impressed with Copper & Malt. The layout makes it very easy to find what you’re looking for and Ashley is very knowledgeable when it comes to wine. I recently tried an orange wine and was surprised how much I liked it considering I usually prefer red wine. I also tried a bit of sake. Since I don’t like the taste of alcohol, I was surprised how smooth cold sake is. I’m no longer turned off to sake and would recommend doing a sake tasting if you’re new to it like me.”

“When specifically ask for chicken to be cut up into small pieces for a five year old to eat & you get back huge cuts of chicken a grown adult would have trouble biting it really annoying. However the food is excellent & conveniently located with decent size portions so that’s what keeps me coming back.”
“Humphry Slocombe is a Bay Area institution at this point and this one is in line with other locations. Personally, I find the flavors here to be hit or miss so it may take a while to find something you’ll like. The space is kinda weird but staff is usually super nice. I’m really glad theres finally an ice cream shop on Bay Street and it’s much needed for the area, but of all the SF chains to cross the bay, it’s too bad it had to be this one.
We tend to get salted caramel cacao nib, malted milk chocolate, Vietnamese coffee, secret breakfast, and lavender crumble and go back fairly often.”
“Usually go there for pickups, and notice that they are always prepping food and cleaning tables. The place is very clean and efficient.
Last time I went they even offered me a free drink whole I had to wait for my pickup. In general one of the better run fast food places I've been to.”
“Good place to get a cup of "Joe" by the bay. Plus ?"Butter Cups"? is right across the street where you could get a great meal with your "Loveone" or MaybeNations American Style Old school burgers that fill you up tha is just up the street?or maybe after a good cup of coffee and a great meal you can catch a great movie at the Jack London Cinema that also offers parking in the garage at is valet parking. Then to make a great ending to a lovely day with your Beautiful Woman , lover & friend you two can take a stroll along the Beautiful water front with the most Beautiful Loving woman by your side and give her a passionate kiss with the Beautiful moon behind you two as your blushing canvas as you kiss this beautiful reason for living. ?????.Jack London Squgare is ??????Come see you will agree ?.”
“Recvd an order via doordash that was not totally up to par. A friend told me to make it known. Upon contacting the manager a few days later, he has now made the entire order good. I am more than pleased with the quality of the food and the customer service that I recieved. Will definately continue to patronize this establishment.”
“Good coffees, responsive customer service, reasonable prices compared to most online coffee sellers”

“WOW!!! First time eating Indonesian food and although I've had Thai, Laos, Vietnamese, Cambodian and Malaysian food numerous times, I was surprised how different & wonderful it was. Nice staff and very generous Big portion, but really it's all about the flavor, which was Awesome.”
“This was my first time Eating at Togos. I didn't fully understand the menu. Michell and Jasmine who work at the Emeryville location were so helpful in helping me decide what to order. The customer service was immaculate right on point. Thank you, Jasmine and Michelle for the hospitality.”
“The Banks Club in Emeryville is the spot! Soul, funk tunes fill the air all day, and the DJ sets on weekends are just dope. Karaoke nights? Always a blast. They pour generously too. I've had countless great times here. It's like the Cheers of Emeryville - you're gonna love it. 100% recommend!”
“Consistent, kind, and delicious. Been working on the street they're parked on for a long while and the thing I'll miss most about this job ending is grabbing a top notch burrito whenever I want.Only recently tried a breakfast burrito and it was so good.Currently eating a carne asada burrito with just beans and salsa and I could not be happier.Support these good folks!”
“Weak recommendation. I like the choices but we went in at 1120 am (had been open 20 minutes) and lettuce and guacamole were turning brown. I know it was not the decision of the staff to reuse, they must have been told to do so. I generally like it. Today was disappointing. I’ll pay 30 cents more for today’s lettuce.”

“Where do I begin? This place serves some of the best food in the market place. The service is incredible as well! Great people and the environment is well fit! Overall 10/10 would recommend attending!”
“Still decent dim sum for the East Bay. Great Bay views if you score a table in the main dining room. I think that quality/ingredients has deteriorated from past years. Definitely rated this lower for food than past years.”

“Saw the comment about a mouse and believe me theh went inspected we got 94 out of 100. some of my coworkers may be rude even i myself when a bad custumer just passed honestly try to hige the best service i can with whag i have inside which alot of times we are missing tons of things and its not our fault. Seen genuine similes of costumers. if you bring a pet trough the drive trough you have more preference for a better service since it makes me happy seeing the pets.”
