“So glad I came here. Plenty of parking at Safeway. Walked directly across the street into the alley to find this hole in the wall gem. Was immediately given a lentil soup and water as soon as I sat down. Ordered a steak burrito which was massive. All delicious food. Low key vibes. Not busy at all. Cash only. ATM available in the restaurant. Nice people working there.Parking: Park at Safeway and walk across the street.“

“Jayna offers an array of Mediterranean eats, similar to what you'd find at Nick the Greek. However, the food is 10x better! Not too salty, the Beef and Lamb gyro was extremely savory with flavor, it did not feel like the food was from the freezer. Got the combo and was MORE than enough food for a late lunch early dinner. May not need to eat later and if i do, I'll have leftovers. Definitely check them out if you want a more flavorful, fast-ish Mediterrean food experience.Huge shout out to Ali for his great service and welcoming smile!“

“We love Ivory and Vine. Hassan is an amazing host, tirelessly running around taking care of everyone! The food is really wonderful as well. The house red is fantastic, and the pour you get is plentiful!! And then, of course, the music is varied and great. Only complaint is it can be at times too loud, but then there are the outside seats (with heaters). A really fantastic place to spend an evening!!!“

When I walked into NB Gyros, I smelled that unmistakable but unfortettable aroma of grilled meat so I ordered their grill sampler. I also ordered an appetizer of baba ganoush and a cold Stella Artois.The baba ganoush arrived quickly and I devoured it. I'm no expert but this was so delicious and I wanted more. Next, the grilled sampler came and I was amazed at how much food was included. There were two varieties of chicken, beef, kofte, and lamb, rice, salad and pita. All the meats were flavorful and had that delicious char I was looking for. The chicken was a little overcooked and dry but still delicious. I couldn't finish this big platter so was offered a take-away box, which I gladly accepted.I know I'll return because the service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere was open and welcoming and the food was delicious!“

“Used to go here every 1-2 months when I worked nearby. Always got the lunch special with the free soda. I preferred the chicken shawarma and fries (sometimes a salad). I miss this place so much (no longer live in Cali) but will go again next time I visit.“

“Great wine, food and atmosphere. One salad is more than enough for two people. We got the Retsina wine which was off the hook, soft, velvety and delicious. We got the soup which was reminiscent of Tom Kha in a way and also delicious. Greek fries and lamb salad were also made just right and the food was brought out so quickly. “1st time there. Small, casual restaurant with good food. Local neighborhood . The server was great with recommendations and very attentive. The hummus was extra flavorful and obviously a regulars favorite.. I'll be interested in going again and trying more selections. Looks like a great bar if you want that too.“

“Came for a quick weekday lunch. I ordered the lamb and beef gyro plate (came with white and hot sauce) and baklava the size of your thumb. Good portions and prices are reasonable as you would expect eating in FiDi. Meat is seasoned well. Pilaf rice is bland but cooked properly.“

I accidentally stumbled upon this place nestled in San Francisco and I'm so happy I stopped here. “This food chain has been popping up all across The Bay. I tried a gyro a while back and wasn't wowed. Today, i saw an advertisement for a gyro bowl and it looked pretty good so I came to give it a try. The restaurant interior was very clean btw! I ordered the beef/lamb bowl with extra chicken. The bowl came with a hearty amount of meat, i was just being greedy by adding the extra. 10/10! Fresh tomatoes, fresh cucumbers! Perfect lettuce! That will be my go too! Not interested in trying anything else. It hits every spot.“

“Detroit style pizza is great. They make amazing cheese. During baking, the cheese melts completely into the pizza, and then it becomes chewy and delicious. For those who haven't tried it, don't hesitate and definitely try it. This is very excellent.“
