“The BEST gluten free waffle cone I've come across. We were at Legoland from out of state and drove our rental car down i5 for the 15 minutes to get there. It was well worth it! Hubby got the carrot cake and mixed berry dairy ice cream and said they were very good. I loved it was all hand made in house with awesome ingredients. My son and I are gluten and dairy free, we got the double chocolate vegan ice cream in a gluten free cone. He was so excited to have a cone. The vegan ice cream was delicious. This place will stay on our list if we are ever back in the area.”

“My friend and I had such a wonderful experience at Firenze, and what made it truly special was not only the food, but the kindness and care from everyone there.

Before we even arrived, Jeff was incredibly kind and helpful on the phone. Jeff took the time to answer questions patiently and made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. That level of kindness set the tone for the entire evening.

When we arrived, Raquel was absolutely amazing both on the phone and in person. Raquel was so understanding, supportive, patient, and accommodating throughout our visit and helped us find a table that worked for us. Raquel was patient as we tried 3 different tables. Raquel made us feel comfortable and relaxed, and her warmth and attentiveness truly shun through.

Sandra was also incredible — Sandra's knowledge and expertise were so appreciated. Sandra thoughtfully helped identify dishes that would be safer for me to eat, and somehow still managed to recommend something absolutely delicious. That level of care means so much. Sandra was kind, compassionate and supportive to making us feel safer and comfortable to eat.

They graciously seated us outside next to the fountain, away from the crowd, which created such a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. The sound of the water made the evening feel calm and intimate, and everyone was so accommodating about making sure we were comfortable.

The food itself was outstanding. The crisp thin breadsticks were addictive — light, delicate, and perfectly crunchy with that satisfying snap when you bite into them. Dipping the warm bread into the olive oil and balsamic vinegar was incredible. The olive oil was smooth, rich, and slightly peppery, while the balsamic added the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. Together, they soaked beautifully into the bread and made such a simple starter feel luxurious. The bread was soft and airy on the inside and crisp on the outside.

I also loved the pasta. The shape held onto the sauce perfectly, giving every bite a wonderful balance of texture and flavor. The pasta itself tasted fresh and tender with just the right firmness. Every forkful felt comforting and thoughtfully prepared.

My friend absolutely loved the chicken parm. It was beautifully done in a true Italian style — thin, tender chicken with a perfectly crisp coating that wasn’t heavy or greasy. The sauce tasted vibrant and fresh with rich tomato flavor, and the melted cheese on top added just the right creamy finish without overpowering the dish. Every bite was balanced, flavorful, and delicious.

This was one of those dining experiences where you can truly feel the care from the staff in every detail. Thank you to Jeff, Raquel, Sandra, and everyone at Firenze for such a memorable evening. We cannot wait to come back.”

Of course the ham is spectacular. Full flavored, easy to slice and serve and is always a holiday favorite. But I’ve never been to a company store like this!!!
I just showed up and was only in the store for about 10 minutes. I left with an 8 lb ham for $103.

I do have a few tips to offer. You can call ahead and prepay over the phone or use their website which will speed up your pickup process. There were three registers handling prepaid orders and only one handling the walk up orders like me.
Another great tip is go to Costco first and purchase two $50 gift cards for only $80 !!
This will save you 20% which is a great value.
Oh and be certain to spend some time browsing in the store at all their wonderful items like sauces, mustard, rolls and various delectable items.
They also have prepared food to go so you can pick up a meal for lunch or dinner . Enjoy”

“My wife and I were in town for one day to visit family. After the graduation ceremony we all gathered at Vigilucci’s for a 6:30 reservation. I was very impressed with the valet parking and great greeting once we walked it. They immediately sat us at our table and this was a busy Friday night. The restaurant is beautiful and has several different rooms. So they can handle a lot of diners.

Our server was exceptional, as was every staff member that came in contact with us.

We started with wine and their amazing homemade bread. Loved that bread it’s crispy and very tasty.

I ordered the seafood special and my wife had the tagliatelle with sausage. One of the others ordered the butternut squash dinner. Everything that came out was incredible!!! The seafood on my pasta was a large scallop, mussels in the shell, clams in the shell, two very large scrumptious shrimp and calamari. The pasta was delicious as well.

Then we topped it off with two orders of thru delicious tiramisu. OMG some of the best I’ve ever tasted.

Now, the food—absolutely incredible. We started with the super nachos, the guacamole inside was perfectly seasoned with just the right kick of lime and jalapeño. For the main course, I ordered the carne asada tacos, and they were out of this world. The meat was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, served on soft, handmade corn tortillas. My friend had the enchiladas verdes, and she couldn’t stop raving about the tangy green sauce and how everything was cooked to perfection.

What really stood out, though, was the attention to detail and authenticity. You can tell everything is made from scratch and with love. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive without being overbearing—our server even recommended a house-made horchata that turned out to be the best I’ve ever had.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine that’s both comforting and flavorful, this spot is a must. I’ll definitely be coming back—and bringing more friends with me next time!”

“Indian/Nepalese cuisine is one of my favorite cuisines. I am South African and grew up eating eating variety of traditional curries and stews. I travel a lot for work and have had the fortune of trying some of the best Indian restaurants in the nation, including dozens of places in SoCal. Everest Himalayan Cuisine is by far, the best restaurant I've ever been to. This cozy casual restaurant opened in November originally for take-out. I am a big fan of dine-in, so I was excited to find out that they recently opened for dine-in. I came with my best friend (we're always looking for new favorite restaurants). We decided to get a couple things to share. Started off with the Lamb Momos. They were such a wonderful treat. For Entrees, we went with the Lamb Tikka Masala and the Butter Chicken with Cilantro Garlic Naan. While eating our Momos, an adjacent table received their Tandoori Chicken and Lamb. It smelled and sounded so good, we decided that we would have to order more (we also ordered Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Tandoori). Our food came, and when I dipped my Naan into the sauce, I nearly cried it was so good. It reminded me of a better version of my grandmas famous Tikka Masala. It's was then, that I knew this would become my new favorite place. It was so flavorful and luscious. All the meat was so tender. The Naan was supple, while pillowy and stretchy at the same time, (clearly proofed perfectly). Every dish we tried was the best iteration of the dish I've ever had. I usually order my food quite spicy (9-10), but if you like a flavorful warm heat, get a 5 to 7. We ordered another order of the Cilantro Garlic Naan to get every bit of the sauce. I know I'll be back soon. I really would like to try more of their dishes and their desserts. They also have a nice Lunch Special, I'd like to try. “Great concept, like an In-N-Out that also serves alcohol. They have a very small and simple menu but everything is done very well, basically the definition of quality over quantity. The bartender Jeff was great, and the cocktails were excellent- like actually really good and I don't say that often. Prices were very reasonable for the area.”

“My family and I LOVE CPK especially in Encinitas. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly especially the manager Manny. He goes out of his way to make sure you love your food otherwise insists on replacing it. Atmosphere is good. The only thing is seating capacity is not huge. It is so worth a try if you haven’t tried it. Something for everyone. I am soooo picky about pizza but this is the only pizza I like that’s placed in a hearth oven with flames and the salads are excellent especially the barbecue chopped chicken. In the photo I had a lunch duo, which is only $10 for both of these Until 4 PM.”
