“Food was great! I love ramen and this spot is one of the best I've had! We got the Gonzo black and the tonkatsu along with some takoyaki. The Takoyaki was average, but the ramen was superb! The broth was rich and was very flavorful. The staff was really nice and the food came out quickly as well. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stop by again!“
“We saw on social media that the buns were shaped like cute animals so came here to try it. For the main course we ordered the Fat Duck back when they served it and then we also ordered the Me So Hot! Ramen (spicy peanut tonkotsu broth / topped with ground pork, 1/2 ramen egg, bean sprouts, brussels sprouts, peanuts, sesame seeds, scallions, leeks)For dessert we ordered the bee flour dumplings which had egg custard in them. Everything was great and nice presentation of the food.“
“Our favorite in San Diego north county. Great quality, reasonable prices, friendly staff. On the rare occasion they made a mistake, they bc protected it and added something extra too :)They are also good with allergy customers, ensuring no gluten, dairy etc“
“I got the Singapore noodle dish with vegetables and it was so delicious! I got a level 5 spice and it was just the right amount. The portion size was a lot bigger than I had expected so it lasted me a while. I also got the fried tofu as a side and equally as delicious! Would recommend if you ever want to try a new Thai dish or stick to your comfort!“
“So good! I've been here a number of times now and everything I've tried has been wonderful. I especially love the duck, the garlic snow pea leaves, the onion lamb, and any of the salt-and-pepper entrees. Portions are huge. Staff are friendly and efficient, and it's a nice, open casual place to hang out, talk, and enjoy a great meal.“
“I ordered the Kimchi & Pork Dumplings, the Signature Potstickers, and the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. The dumplings and potstickers were pretty bland- they didn't taste bad, they just didn't taste like much, especially when you're expecting kimchi. The Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup was better, and that's what I mostly enjoyed. In terms of asian food in San Diego, I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but it does okay if you're in the area and don't want to travel all the way to Convoy. Nothing to say about the service, since the style is mostly self-serve. Very casual place, meant for quick dining. Glad I came, but I don't think I'd come back.“
“I have one word to say....LEGIT!!! This place is absolutely legit. So nice to have some legit cultural food here in Carlsbad!! The walnut prawns are the absolute best I have ever had and they are my favorite so that is saying a lot. Prices were absolutely reasonable for what you get. We did not have to wait and the service was perfect!!“
“Was a very quaint and clean place. Had a traditional Japanese style atmosphere with a slightly modern touch. The food was delicious, I tried the Ichitaru ramen without the dried onion and a miso broth with extra pork belly. The noodles were good and the pork belly was melt in your mouth delicious. I also tried the tempura avocado balls which were delicious. The staff were all very friendly and the food came out lightning fast. My fiancé also got a cute Hello Kitty keychain with our meal and it was overall a 10/10 experience. I would definitely come back here if I find myself in Carlsbad again.“
“Me and 3 of my kid's ate here after the movies one day. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We arrived a little before closing, I had the times mixed up. I do door dash and looked at the wrong time for that day. One of our dishes was prepared incorrectly, but I contribute that to my kid's saying they wrong thing. The staff was cool about fixing it. The food seemed fresh and we didn't feel rushed because they ultimately closed while we were eating.“
“Really great service! The bun rieu soup was tasty. Most Vietnamese restaurants don't serve this soup so I had to try this one here and I was not disappointed. Thought the egg rolls were a bit cold when they arrived, like they were pre fried. I would say prices are quite expensive, $70 USD for 2 adults and 1 child.“
