“I had very high expectations before visiting for the first time on a Sunday. They were out of eggplant unfortunately. Expect to pay$7 right away for parking. The stews however were some of the best I had.Parking: The staff are very helpful and attentive.“
“Cool place to bring a small group together, simple bar food menu but nicely done, plenty of staff to help you enjoy a night out, shuffle board tables are a plus, karaoke night brings out some regulars with some real talent, including the staff!“
“This place is divine. It is true authentic French and you feel like you've been transported to Paris when you go. The food is so finely prepared with quality ingredients and each dish is so unique and delicious. It's my new favorite!“
“Food and wine selection at AOC is very good. The service is what stood out most. I dined here Monday night and the hostess was very kind. Michael our waiter really made our night. He had great menu and drink recommendations and his positive attitude was so infectious it really made our night. He really set the standard for amazing service. We will be back asap to see him!“
“Absolutely amazing service and amazing food! Our cocktails were made perfectly, and they definitely had a nice kick. Nothing makes me more upset than when they charge you a ton of money and measure out your booze, this is not that place! The restaurant has cool vibes and a unique modern / classic decor. If you're looking for a smaller non-chain steakhouse that does things right this is the place for you!Special shout out to Patrick the sommelier! Talk about a guy that's good at his job, knows the wines, and doesn't miss a beat... this is the guy. To top that off he has a great personality and made our evening all that much more special! Thank you Patrick and team Fia, you guys are doing a great job. Keep up the good work!!!“
“We brought our own wine, corking fee $40. Had a great experience here but they took my wine into the back and put it into the decanter, as it is a bottle we brought, would have preferred if they had poured it in front of us. Otherwise it was a great meal and food was delicious. We did the matu dinner which is a 5 course meal and definitely worth it especially if you’re a first timer. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere and everyone who we interacted with was very nice!“
“This was our first time at Saltie Girl. We will definitely be dinning at Saltie Girl again. The oysters were outstanding and not a bad price at $4.50 each. They had great flavor.LA Pink salad was very good with an excellent crushed maple walnut dressing dressing. The Moules Frites, probably the best I ever had, even better than in Belgium! Ipswich Claim had a wonderful coating and excellent flavor. The Fried Brussels Sprouts outstanding flavor. The French Dover Sole with the lemon, capers, butter and parsley, amazing flavor. Lump Crab Toast bold and delicious flavor. The one dish I would pass on next time is the Tins. We had one tin with Sardine In Olive Oil With Lemon and one with Hake In Green Sauce. They just lacked flavor.Service was top notch.“
“1 star deduction because the tables are awkwardly small for 2, and the food all came out within 5 minutes, resulting in the waiter trying to jam way too many plates on at once. restaurant needs to learn courses and timing, even with family style meals. the food all came out even before we got our drink order(which was placed first) food & ambiance 5 stars. we were lucky to happen upon jazz night on the 2nd and 4th fridays of each month. strong smell of truffles when you enter, so truffle haters beware. mushroom arancini- crispy fried outer layer, with rice and mushrooms on the inside sitting on a truffle based sauce. overall delicious but could be more generous with sauce as inside seems a bit bland without it. still great pastrami wagyu topped bone marrow- amazing. served with warm toast. great decadent combination here striped bass - very well done. fish was tender and cooked perfectly. sauce was almost drinkable labneh- first time trying this dish, a strained yogurt. served with warm soft delicious pita. will definitely order this every time i return price ended up less than $100 pp with tip“
“I was recommended there by Jillian Barberie from Good Day L.A. It was my 1st time there & it did not disappoint at all. Valet parking. Quick prompt service, waitress was attentive and food was spot on! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“The influence of Alice Waters and David Tennis is at play in the $45 prix fixe 3-course lunch, simple, elegant and delicious. The rest of the menu, except the desserts and cocktails, looks to be uninterestingly pedestrian. Recently, a salad of thinly shaved manchego, mint, beets and radicchio first course and a perfectly cooked Sea bass, very plump clams, broad beans, and fennel second course in a seafood broth lightly seasoned with dill were superb, as were desserts that our waiter allowed us to substitute for the third course. Highly recommended for lunch.“
“Eggs bacon and waffles were spectacular! Waffles stands out by being light, fluffy and undeniably the best waffles I have ever had. I asked to separate waffles from eggs and bacon and think this is the way to go! French toast, burrito were also very good. Only drawback was it was a bit on the expensive side for breakfast - 30/pp. I guess you pay for quality!!“
“The Best Restaurant Ever.... Michael C. hands down is the best waiter one could ask for. Management is the best, my family and I felt so welcomed. We can't wait to visit again. By the way, that was my first time ever having Sushi Roll, (sweet & spicy crab), roll. And God be with me on the butter cake, the beeeeest eveeeer. Okay, the Brussel Sprout Chips, Tempura Cauliflower, and Shrimp Fried Rice... I mean I can't stop thinking about my meal........ The Ambiance, the best .... That's everything in a nutshell They deserve a 10 Reshelle & Rico“
“This was my first time at Dante’s and it was the best experience I’ve had at a restaurant in a while. The food and drinks were amazing and the service was exceptional. My server Kathy was amazing, she had this radiant energy that just brightened up my day. I appreciated her checking in on my table to make sure everything was good while making some good conversation to make sure I enjoyed my experience. I highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area.“
“This is our fourth time here since opened. We love it and even brought some first timers. Just a couple of things, the rigatoni was not as spicy as usual, the chicken parmesan seemed a little small and $45 for corkage is a little high my feeling.“
“Where do I start with how much I love this place? As a photographer it's a joy and a delight to be here but even without the fact that I've worked there many times... The food the decor, the staff.. if you get a chance to meet Eden Alpert you're lucky. Always kind.... And you'll notice that she's probably having the best time of anyone. The music and the performers are top-notch. It's not uncommon to see some of the top names in jazz.. however don't be surprised if you see Seth MacFarlane doing songs from Sinatra or an Amy Winehouse tribute. Sound mix is even and the perfect volume. Highly recommend the Caesar salad with a plate sized parmesan crisp and the mini ahi tuna tacos and save room for the hot chocolate cake. Food is top of the line and jazz club is elegant and upscale. Can't wait to eat and shoot pics there again soon.“
“Took the love of my life here, and she loved it. Photos are scallops and chicken breast with lentils/squash puree. Pricey but she's worth it. They do need shades on their windows tho.Parking: Parking is a turn into the building where valet greets you“
“I can't say enough about the food and service! Everything was off the charts delicious starting with the appetizers and on to the steak platters for 2. Desert the Bomb too!! Thank you for a great birthday dinner experience absolutely delicious!“
“This place has an amazing vibe, food and service. The restaurant is Family style so food is meant to be shared with the table. The half chicken is juicy, flavorful and well presented, same for the New York steak and the Cesar salad. Maybe the salad had too much dressing but that is just my preference. Also because of the concept of sharing the food, the price is very fair.“
“The restaurant is located on the second floor of Nerano in Beverly Hills (you have to take an elevator up to the second floor through Nerano). This gives the spot kind of a fun speakeasy feel to it. When you get out of the elevator, you walk into a beautifully designed / decorated, cozy, albeit slightly quirky space. It's not large (I think the capacity is 34). Came here for a food event, which I did a review for separately, but this experience in particular was grabbing a drink at the bar. (I did think the food was delicious though and urge folks to come here and give this place a try. I know I want to come back and try more menu items.) The bar is beautifully designed and organized. I found myself perusing and mentally cataloguing the whiskeys as I always do when I go to new restaurants. But this place looked like a place that has fun cocktails. So I ordered The George Michael. The drinks here are really interactive, and the bartenders are super enthusiastic to the point that it's infectious. My drink in particular had some bowls that floated up and you had to catch it with a paddle. Flavor wise it was like espresso martini with a peanut butter twist to it. All in all this place is a great place to grab drinks and/or food. Lots of fun. There's a lot of street parking nearby, but it could get challenging especially during the weekends. I came in the middle of the week and was able to find parking about a block away.“
“We came here for Easter Sunday brunch yesterday. It’s a cute restaurant with friendly staff. However, I expected the food to taste better…I ordered their classic breakfast pizza suggested by the server. First of all, it looked great. I’m not a fan of the fake bacon because it tastes like paper. After the first couple of bites, I realized the pizza was barely edible because of the amount of big rosemary leaves added in the pizza dough. I had to hand picked them out of the pizza to avoid tasting the ‘soapy’ rosemary flavor… and I love rosemary in general. Just not THIS MUCH. I asked my friends to also taste my pizza and they all told me I should send it back.Luckily, our server took it back right away and gave me the option to change to a different pizza. The second pizza I ordered was margarita pizza. It was pretty blend. But at least edible.I do need to say their menu is probably a hit or miss. My friends ordered the breakfast burritos that they enjoyed a lot. Which is why I’m leaving it 4 stars.Note: very limited street parking and $20 valet parking.Parking: Very limited street parking and $20 valet parking.“
“Casual but nice. Service and staff are very kind and knowledgeable. Recommended wine based on my preferences.Food was very good but I think they put cream in the carbonara… and a poached egg on top. I’ve seen this at other LA restaurants- not sure why it’s a thing.Good portion sizes.“
“3rd visit - Obsessed! Innovate cuisine and meticulous cocktails at the level everywhere else wishes they could. Negroni - All time fav because the bitter punches hard (sometimes too hard). This is the best I've had! Bitter and sweet balance exquisitely - not brusque. Crispy Potatos - Well done, but makes you wonder if size is right. Close to being a french fry - but large! Crispy outside, soft inside, well seasoned. Mildly curious aioli pair well. Not perfect. Maybe needs another sauce? Seared Hokkaido Scallops - Scared green curry would overpower delicate scallops, but texture remains in tact. Curry pulls out creaminess. Delicate, but flavorful. Warm and clean. Scallion paratha is so necessary to give heavy depth! Cheesecake - Yooo!! Creme Brule is my fav and this is rivaling it! Bright and tart while velvety with deep. Not heavy! You'll regret not getting. Martini - A must every visit! I love olives, but tried lemon this time and loved how big of a difference it made! Excited to try gibson/onion next!“
“Most excellent experience and food was perfect. We had the duck eggrolls and the ricotta stuffed squash blossoms as starters, both had a delish specialty drink. I had the house burger with 3 different meats ground in including wagyu. Was done perfectly med rare. No room for dessert this time. Will def go back. Service was nice, we sat at the bar. All in all a great experience.“
“This place is kind of a hole in the wall location in West LA. I found it when I used to go to the gym next door to them. But, the service and food are great. I always sit at the bar, and the bartender is always very friendly and professional.“
“Pretty good! I would go back to share with my other crew. Your fresh pasta dishes are good! The lobster pappardelle is really good! I want an order to myself! haha. Your mushroom fungi trecce is good. I don't like creamy sauce but this one is good. Hard to find a good bolognese pasta, but this one is good. The hamachi is good, nice tempura element. Lobster roll is excellent!! The family loves the lamb chops!! I am not a dessert person but your sticky toffee pudding is good!!“
“I absolutely love Stache. It offers a fantastic atmosphere, delightful music, and incredibly friendly, attentive staff.Thursday trivia nights are a personal favorite of mine.I recently hosted a party there, and the manager, Sebastian, made the entire process effortless. He helped me reserve the patio - for free - and all my guests could conveniently order their food and settle their tabs using their phones. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.I wholeheartedly recommend Stache for any event or gathering. Sebastian was an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.“
“2nd time here and it’s off the charts!Love the Asian fusion food - don’t miss these two items, green papaya salad and miso pork jowl! Everything is delicious - literally. The atmosphere is incredible, fun colors, low lighting and jungle animals lurking. Fun and funky spot with sophisticated flavors make Piccalilli a great place to check out!“
“We sat on the patio with a few cocktails we ordered: From LA with Love (tall orange drink) and LA Adelita (Mocktail). They were fantastic!I especially like the ambiance of the bar. It is located in a trendy food stall in downtown Culver City with other ethnic food on the first floor and the bar and its patio on the second floor!“
“The food was very good. My favorite thing was the spicy Pescado tacos. The chorizo scramble on toast was not as good as I was hoping it would be, but I did love the mimosa option with a flight of juices to kind of make your own mimosa. got there fairly early so there weren't many people and there, so the noise level was low and the atmosphere there is very charming and warm..“
“First time going. Went for a late lunch. Staff was very friendly & the food came out fast. This has an elevated or more modern vibe compared to other "traditional" Mexican restaurants with familiar menu items (tacos, chips&guac, street corn) but several premium items (tomahawk steak, lobster bomba rice) or unique options (jimca salad, shrimp chile) as well. I like the small plates and tacos but also appreciate the large plates for dinner. They also have mocktails which are fantastic- we had spicy passionfruit. Wel will ne neck amd the atmosphere is lively from watching sports to a date night.“
“Came here on a Sunday and barely made it brunch. We sat at the bar and it wasn't packed. This was around 2:45pm. They were nice enough to still serve us brunch even though the kitchen was going to close in 10 minutes. I got the salmon egg Benedict and my friend got the shrimp and grits. I liked mine, I've had better but it was just the right meal since I didn't want to feel so full. It came with a salad. My friend seemed to enjoy hers. We both got the same drink called Fanny something. Our bartender was so nice and fun and we all got along but the drinks are overpriced and it seems like they fill them with mostly ice so I'm good on their drinks here. Our bartender made us some good shots though with tajin and pineapple with a mango hint. The ambiance is so pretty. I'm open to trying more of their dishes but idk about their drinks.“
“I wish I knew what made their carnitas so special -- I'm convinced they're made by some sort of god. I have never had them this good. Exceptional food and attentive service. I have been to the 3rd street location as well and it is just as good. I dream about your food!“
“We booked Olivetta for an early Valentine’s Day dinner, based on its popularity and reputation. I would not classify it as fine dining, more so a really good Italian restaurant that specializes in drinks, and a more upscale and lively vibe versus a traditional fine dining restaurant like Madeo up on W Sunset. I would say it’s a great place to bring a date or dinner with friends or family, and not so much a work dinner location. The inside is beautifully done and has some great colors. There are tapestries all along the walls with lots of plants dividing the dining areas and a very muted red color that really adds to the ambience. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot, it will be valet or metered street parking. You have to check in with security street side first and then they let you walk up the ramp where you will next check in with the hostess. They have a large bar area as well as a lot of different seating options. Our table was extremely small, however, and the tables were very close together so this is not the sort of place that you’ll be able to have a private or sensitive conversation. Our server was very polite, although took quite some time to take our order initially but overall, I think he did a great job. The music is quite loud here so if someone has hearing issues they will really struggle to hear others at their table. They have a fairly large menu with a lot of great options on it. We started off with a Squash Blossoms, which were absolutely fantastic. I have ordered these all over town and this is definitely one of the better versions. I was a bit disappointed that it only comes with three which is a hard number to share so I wish the portion size would’ve been a bit larger for this. Next we followed with the Caesar Salad and it was great. Again, not a very large sized portion, but still tasty flavorwise. For my entrée, I chose the Creste Di Gallo because having the bone marrow scooped in right before you eat is an unbeatable addition to me. It was a true treat. I love bone marrow anything so this was great pasta. The bone marrow itself added a great flavor and a crunch to the meal, which I truly loved. We also ordered the special for the day, which was the Dungeness Crab Tagliatelle. It was absolutely fantastic and had a ton of crab on it. The sauce was truly what made the dish and the pasta was cooked perfectly. For dessert we topped off the meal with the Brown Sugar Budino and I definitely would recommend it. It was sweet and salty and actually a great sized portion. it was a great end of the meal.Overall, I would say Olivetta is a great date spot. It’s very lively and very noisy but in a fun way. They play the music quite loud so it has a very Friday night kind of feel to it. I would recommend and will try it again sometime in the near future.Parking: valet or metered street parking“
“Solid American Restaurant serving up good burgers and drinks! They have a solid tap list for beer!House chips are crunchy and addicting.Their fries are crispy and solid with the aioli sauce!Burgers are supposedly American wagyu! It was a nice melt in your mouth patty. The toppings are something serious. Amazing bacon, pretty good mushrooms, delicious camerlized onions. It tasted even better in the toaster oven the next day.Service was good, they were busy waiting many tables. Donavan was helpful and attentive.Nice interior decoration. Good feelingI would come back again for the burger and beer!“
“This is a really nice location if you want to be in the luxury stores and restaurants. The rooms are lovely decorated. But... I do not recommend this hotel for you to stay, even if it is renewed and renowned, the staff at the terrace restaurant is slow and not really willing to help you, the only one really nice is BRYAN if you go ask for him.The room quality is ok the drapes do not close so you'll sleep with a ray of light, the pillows are awful and they can't do anything to solve the problem. At the valet only if you ask twice they will assist you. They have a lot of things to work on in order to be truly five stars. So far it is like an expensive four star hotel.Nearby activities: Just nearby activities.“
“Socalo is consistently great. Everyone I introduce it to ends up returning on their own. Everything is great here, the food especially of course (the menu is innovative with kind of a classic base and the ingredients are very high end). Somehow though, they manage to keep the prices reasonable. The staff is really nice, the design and atmosphere are beautiful both during the day and the evening. I love that it's an all day restaurant so you can even grab a meal or a snack during in-between hours. This place is kind of a sleeper favorite and because it seems to be under the radar a bit, getting a reservation is always easy. I truly love this place.“
“Outstanding food and service!!! Great decor, very romantic. The hummus was perfectly creamy and that egg and chickpeas on top is kind of genius. Crispy cauliflower: great crunch and coated perfectly with delicious tahini dressing. Branzino: just right amount of seasoning, love that it comes with roasted veggies, beautiful presentation. It was slightly overcooked for my taste, but I forgive you ;) Coming back soon to taste more!“
“The food was delicious, the restaurant is beautiful, and the staff is very professional and kind! It's on the more expensive side (but delicious!) and the atmosphere was very pleasant although it was pretty empty (we went on a Sunday night). Great place to talk because the noise level isn't too high.“
“I personally had the best experience here with my family! The staff was so nice and accommodating we had 2 senior dogs that we needed to bring with us because they have heart issues and can't be left alone I had them in a HUGE stroller and the staff helped me so much and gave me no hassle in bringing them in the patio area. They gave us a spacious table like I requested and I loved it! The food was amazing! Huge compliments to the chef we did the 3 course lunch meal and it was perfect! We have an autistic child that usually hates eating everything and they made him a chicken quesadilla that he devoured! This was a huge delight and was very much worth it! They even have valet which made it extremely hassle free and accommodating. You should definitely check this place out the vibe, food, decor, and staff, are all perfect!“
“This is an incredible place, hands down one of the best restaurants in LA and I have been to many. The food is a true art, all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. The service is excellent and the music band that they have creates an incredible ambiance!“
“My friend Que took me here. Wow. Nice little family run restaurant in Beverly Hills. Chancey and her son made me feel like family even though it was my first time at Prospect Gourmand. Que is the celebrity here. I had the Grilled Blackened Salmon. Fantastic. Very well taken care of by the whole family. Definitely a place I will be going back to the next time I am in the LA area. Check it out to decide for yourself.“
“Great spot for a date or family dinner. Went with some friends and we waited 30min past our reservation because the place was really busy. Prepare to wait. We started with their amazing bread service and a Caesar salad, both great. Then we got the meatballs, very juicy and big meatballs you can't go wrong with that. My vegan friend got the spaghetti squash pasta and although it was pretty good it was my least favorite thing I tried that night. My favorite dishes I tried that night was the losbter diavolo pasta, the chicken parmigiana, the scallops, as well as their bone in ribeye. Food is pretty decent but it wasn't the most mind blowing place I have tried but it's solid and consistently hits. Recommend“
“Didn't want to be stuck in traffic for over 2.5 hrs to get home, so I decided to come here and grab a drink, watch some games, and let the traffic die down. They have minimal parking on the street but a large parking lot to the back. I was the first one here for at least an hour, which was really nice. They got televisions all over the place. So no matter where you sit, you get a good view of the game. They got some upbeat music playing loudly over the speakers. Some real head bangers!! Got me tapping my foot and bobbing my head!! It's somewhat dark, but well lit with all the neon signs and tvs. The booths were also really comfy. The waitress I had was amazing. Super nice. Checked on me frequently, since I was the only one there for a while. Very conversational. Great at small talk, so thanks. Knew the menu well. They have daily happy hours of beers, some food. And being a Tuesday, it was taco Tuesday!!!! Tacos were $2.50 each. I ordered one of each and they came out early quick. Feels like the ones you get right off the streets of LA (in a good way). Lots of protein. Packed with toppings. Double tortillas. More sauce on the side. They were all really good!! I had a couple of their beers. Had one on tap, an IPA, as well as another one in a bottle. Vibes here are really cool. It was nice just to sit back, kind of put my feet up and chill. Everyone was super nice. Upon request they can turn on the volume of any of the games. Unfortunately, someone requested the soccer game to be played on blast. Which killed the music. But I had been there a good 1.5 hrs by then, and I guess that was my cue to leave. And it only took an hr and 10 min to get home, mission accomplished!!“
“the waitress was very kind! i had the peri peri half chicken and it was amazing would definitely return just for that. my friend is vegetarian and was happy with all the options available, she had the poblano quinoa with vegan chicken and said it was good too! will definitely be coming back :)“
“Wonderful manager and great table-side service. The only thing I would recommend is to allow patrons to take whatever food is left on their plates home. It's definitely better than throwing away perfectly good food that's half-consumed or barely touched. Otherwise, beautiful dining experience.“
“A great spot for a get together with friends. The service was friendly and attentive. They have free valet parking for the restaurant, which is a nice touch. We enjoyed our brunch there, the eggs Benedict were done perfectly. The indoor outdoor dining option is also nice as both are attractive and well suitedfor a casual dining experience“
“I love this place! I’ve been there several times and would go again! The food is delicious, and there are unique dishes on the menu. We had Virgin Bloody Mary, pretzels and fondue, spicy tuna & crispy rice, flower child scramble, seared ahi tuna, and tortilla soup.It makes me feel at home “an Escape to London” - the atmosphere is incredible and all the people working there are amiable and kind.Thank you so much for a fantastic time!“
“Please give George - who I renamed GMoney - a raise! In all seriousness, he made me (a California newbie) feel so welcome and happy while I was out here visiting my daughter... beyond words. He was amazing and nothing like the East Coast bartenders I’ve been used to! A wonderful night was had because of him!“
“This is one of our favorites. Incredible service with no pretention and the food is exquisite. Grab a spot at the bar on a Saturday at 6:30pm and enjoy great cocktails, one of the best wines by the glass menus and just the best food. No scene, no nonsense. Just a great dining experience. Don't bring your “
“Beautiful restaurant offering indoor and patio dining, serving a wide variety of steakhouse entrees and starters. The Thia Ahi tuna salad, Rib eye and skirt steak are all terrific. Surprisingly affordable by comparison and wonderful!Crab cakes and spinach/artichoke dip for appetizers- always a win!The service was absolutely impeccable by Garrett. We never felt rushed and always looked after, truly amazing and professional!“
