All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. See you soon! Can’t wait for the most delicious Bosnian food on the west side of the United States.”

You start with the yukke—the raw beef tartare. In lesser hands, raw beef can be a texture game with no payoff. Here? “I just wanted to say that the food itself was amazing and I really enjoyed the flavor of the garlic noddles and chicken. The service and and overall feel of the atmosphere is good too. But I have this review minus one star because I just wish that the water was served with ice in it. The water was room temperature and if it had ice in it would be 100 times more refreshing. Maybe the water pitches could be loaded with ice or the water containers with the spigot had ice in it to make the water colder.”
