“On our way out of Anaheim, we spotted this Peruvian restaurant and we gave it a try. The waitress was very nice and our food was ready within 10 minutes. We ordered the Lomo Saltado, Bistek a lo Pobre, and Anticuchos and InKa Cola. The food and drinks were great! Can’t wait to return to Anaheim and eat at this restaurant again.“
“My husband and I had the oxtail pho and oxtail fried rice with grilled ribeye on the side and everything was amazingly very tasty. Definitely coming back to try more on the menu. Service was excellent and staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking isn't a problem. This place definitely is keeper.“
“This place is popular but I was able to show up and get seated without a reservation. It was a 10-20 minute wait on a Friday evening. I thought this place was going to be overhyped but in my opinion, it lived up to the hype! Our server was amazing, he was knowledgeable and had amazing recommendations based on our taste. I ordered the "Saltado" Shaken Fries and it was soo delicious! the meat was tender and the aji sauce was incredible and complemented the food. The ambiance was great and lively, definitely a nice spot to go with friends or a date :)“
“Delicious food! Been looking for an authentic Peruvian place and haven’t had luck until I found this hidden gem!! Everything was so fresh and tasty. Cheviche mixto was amazing and the Anticuchos were so tasty!!! The inside of the restaurant it’s so much nicer than you could imagine from the outside and the service was very good, very nice staff.“
“This is a Peruvian restaurant with passion and execution. It merits a Michelin Bib Gourmand! The food is nothing short of astounding! This is from a New Yorker who has spent time in Peru and loves that cuisine. They have really recreated true Peruvian dishes with just the right mix of spices and really fresh fish and seafood. I could have been dining at a fine restaurant in Cuzco!! The Branzino scallop clam and shrimp mage with jasmine rice and spicy cilantro tomato broth was otherworldly! And the classic ceviche was just that, classic. The Barman was a genius with the Pisco Sour and the wines by the glass were good accompaniments to the food. My hope is that with more people discovering Costa, it may find a somewhat larger spot, and expand the wine by the glass choices. But I haven't had a more authentic and brilliantly prepared Peruvian meal outside the Sacred Valley!! A must go!!“
“Came with friend, a peruana, and we both enjoyed the food. We ordered (for share) papa huancaina, sopa de gallina, arroz con leche and chicha morada for me. All delicious, excellent and attentive service with reasonable price. Will come again and try other items!“
“First time trying out this new place ever since I used to work across the street at stater bros. I must say, it was definitely worth the try. The owner here is very welcoming & has such a wonderful positive attitude where you don’t see that in most places nowadays. I tried their beef fried rice, it was so delicious & on top of that, he offered me aside of soup with my meal. Recommend to stop by if you’re in the area.“
“Pollo Loco ain't got nothing on this ! (I still love you pollo loco) but man this place was good ! I came here with the family for my brother's birthday, and we were all skeptical at first. The menu wasn't very large and the prices were definitely on the higher side for this type of restaurant, but we were hungry and decided to order anyways. I got there Lomo Stack and it was soooo good ! The sandwich or torta (not sure exactly what it was) was probably one of the best I've ever had. Everything from the flavor to the texture was spot on ! I also had some of there chicken legs and thighs and it was all very juicy and flavorful! I'm glad I was able to try this place. Although I don't see myself spending $17 on a sandwich very often, I can't wait for the next time I stop by this place. If you're in the South Coast area this is a MUST TRY!“
“They did not have Peruvian Options which were seen online on their menu. There wasn't any Leche de Tigre or any Ceviches. Do not trust the Menu. Call ahead. Edit: the food is really good coming from a Latino with vast taste in Latino culture food. The flavors are strong but not overwhelming. The empanadas are pretty good. They have chicken and meat and even shrimp. The lomo saltado is pretty good. It doesn't have the smoked flavor but it is still pretty well made. Their niche is the comercial area of civic center in Santa Ana so don't come here expecting rich flavors. Expect pretty good prices and good food.“
“I love Peruvian food - my usual go to is the lomo saltado, but went with the current special on the saltado de pollo since it would come with a free soup, salad, or side dish. The dish was great. Good flavor, great portions. Came on a Tuesday at 12pm with some coworkers, and there was no wait; almost empty restaurant. Server was friendly, and attentive.Would make it a great lunch spot if the dish was a bit more affordable.. this was one of the cheaper dishes and came out to more than $20 after tip and tax.“
“I love Peruvian ceviche and I always get it from Chicama whenever I’m craving it! I’ve been here twice and both times the service has been amazing. It’s a small restaurant located in the corner of the lot. Parking can get full since they share the plaza with multiple other restaurants but people are coming in and out fairly quickly. There weren’t a lot of people at 6 pm on a Saturday night but this place deserves more visitors bc their food really is delicious!“
“We love this place, both for takeout and dining in. Many variations on lomo saltado, and every one I've tried has been delicious. Be careful with the bread with the green sauce- the burn kicks in after a few minutes and it can be persistent. Overall, good food and good service, we'll be there any time we're craving Peruvian food.“
“The food was ok. The disappointment started with the Chicha morada drink. I was told that it was home made but unfortunately mine was water down. The service was definitely great the young ladies working were very attentive and always with a smile.“
“After a long day of movies and shopping at the towne center, This is my favorite place to go. The Chaufa de pollo is AMAZING. I always get extra green sauce to mix in with the Chaufa and it's just delightful. The service is always great, even when there a long line the workers are always kind. And inside the seating area is plentiful if you decide to eat in. Definitely recommend stopping here if you have the chance and if you have even more time try out the restaurant!“
“Absolutely delicious!!! We had the "Anticuchos"and shared the "Lomo A Lo Pobre". We are from Bolivia, which is very similar food to Peru and we have tried many Peruvian restaurants. This is definitely the real deal! Lots of flavor, the meat was perfectly cooked. When you sit down, they give you a basket of bread with their green picante (hot) sauce, which was Delicioso! Fresh and so yummy, not too spicy. Great service too...A must try!“
“The food is well prepared, service is adequate but not robust. Atmosphere is welcoming but does emphasize Peruvian culture. The philosophy is to let the gastronomy speak for itself which it does. The meals are filling and prices on the higher end of area restaurants.Parking: Parking is shared with an independent fast food restaurant. There is overflow parking behind the restaurant.“
“I have to say when it comes to money, this is your biggest meal when it comes to Pho that I have seen. I love pho and have tried dozens of places here in Orange, all which are great but this is the only place i go where I have to take a to go bag home. So delicious! The rib bowl is my go to.“
“This is a perfect example of casual, but delicious Peruvian food! I had the pollo a la brasa and my wife had the lomo saltado. We loved both of our dishes! Everything was cooked perfectly. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The green sauce was just the right amount of spicy and herbaceous.Since there aren't a ton of Peruvian places in SoCal, I would say Senor Pollo is definitely worth a small trip to check out. When I'm craving pollo a la brasa this is going to be my spot, even though it's about an hour drive. It's worth it for me.“
