For dessert, the mango lassi and gulab jamun were delightful. Overall, Cardamom offers a wonderful dining experience with delicious food. Highly recommend!”

“Don't be fooled by this small hidden restaurant. It serves AMAZING food.
Armen, the owner, is super friendly. He really cares about serving the best quality food. You can tell he's passionate about it.

The menu has lots of delicious options. I ordered the chicken thigh shish kabob. It came with very tender juicy mouth watering chunks of chicken on a bed of flavorful rice. There's a side of fire roasted jalapenos tomatoes, and hummus. Also comes with lavash bread and garlic sauce. I wish it came with a little extra chicken though.

There's only street parking. One picnic style table in front of the restaurant.

They appear to mainly cater to take out and to go orders. While there, lots of customers stopped by to pick up their orders.

It seems like they all knew Armen and he knew them. He has frequent customers.

Be prepared to wait a while for your order. Everything is freshly prepared. I would advise to call ahead and place your order. It took about 40 minutes for our food to be ready.

On a side note, mini kabob is associated with mideat taco restaurant, which is also AMAZING”

Wheelchair accessibility: Helped my 96-year-old grandmother in and out via the two different entries. Both are somewhat narrow, but fully accessible.”

“When we arrived there were no seats available, the entire place was packed with people enjoying their food! You could sense the feeling of warmth from the entire staff which generated and over all feeling of happiness! After about a 10 minute wait we were seated, let's say the show began. We are greeted so warmly and graciously! We are thanked for our patients in waiting, we were served hummus and pita bread while we decided what to order. My wife had the chicken kabob with rice and cabbage salad. I had beef shawarma with rice and a side of Baba Ghannouj. The portions were more than ample and the food was delicious! We both agreed that it would be worth the trip from Thousand Oaks just to eat there. We happened to be in the area for an event, and we are so grateful that we stumbled upon Skaf's! The entire staff was so friendly that we felt like we were family. We will definitely be back God willing!

One of the best spur of the moment stops ever - we absolutely loved the pizza and the service was phenomenal, super sweet server. We ordered two pizzas - margarita and the chef’s special apple/walnut/kale/caramelized onion/goat cheese. They were both amazing! We eat a lot of pizza and definitely have a new top favorite. Outdoor seating has both stellar views and people watching; there is a cute patisserie down the street that’s an amazing desert stop for the perfect date night; we will definitely stop by next time we are in town! We will try the house made panna cotta next time. :) Highly recommend checking them out!”

“So excited and proud Sugarbird finally has a storefront. My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. She was nice and really excited to finally have her own storefront. I got a free tea, free clotted cream, the tea sandwich set, six scones (ube, lemon blueberry, matcha, fig & rosemary, passionfruit & earl grey) and shortbread cookies.”

“The service was great The waitress was very nice and helpful and fast. It was 5:00 a.m. so it shouldn't have been slow service anyway. My only complaints are two. 1. The outside of the restaurant was so dark we passed by it without seeing it, had to turn around and then park in the lot. 2. For basically $17 it would be good for a steak burger to cover the whole entirety of the bun and for there to be a little more than a scattering of fries on the plate. Things are too expensive everywhere to go to a restaurant and pay for food and not get what what you're paying for. The steak burger took up approximately 2/3 of the bun and was dwarfed by the tomatoes. I doubt there were 15 fries on the plate.”

“Choose this based off reviews in the area and it did not disappoint. Was a quaint little vibe and even though I didn't stay long enough to eat, everything looked tasty and delicious. I love that they served my latte in a cup for here, it really adds more of a familiar ambience. My one complaint however no wifi, usually this is not a huge deal, however they had the space for me to easily work on a computer so a little bit of bummer, since most shops with the space will have some type of wifi network. Innerstandable and definetly not a deterrent in the larger framework. The latte I ordered was well made, and for almond mylk had quite a bit of foam which isn't always easy depending on the brand. This was a nice stop in a very long road trip; and will save to my maps places, to return next time in the area.

Parking: Curb your tires if you park in this area on the street, they are serious about tickets if you fail to do so.”

“This place is amazing. The chicken tacos were very tasty. I was attending GrowthDay Live at the Alex Theater and this is conveniently located nearby. It's also close to the Brand Plaza Hotel. The service was excellent. Very friendly and even remembered my order when I went in a 2nd time (I mentioned the tacos were tasty, didn't I?). I have to eat gluten free. There are several gluten free options (including the chicken tacos). The price was also extremely reasonable. I highly recommend stopping by and eating some tacos (or anything else on the menu).

Dietary restrictions: There are several options for gluten-free. I am very allergic to wheat. Even the smallest amount can make me go into an allergic reaction. I had no issues at all.”

They absolutely had the BEST cheese enchiladas I've ever in my life tasted and haven't found any as good since. Wish I could get them to dry-ice and send some of these to my current address in the Northern Great Plains (my home area) but I guess they don't do shipping. Dang, I really miss their food and I also like the red bean and rice burritos, and some other dishes. Always had GREAT salads there, as well. The ONLY mexican place we have here where I live is Chili's - yuk!”

“Greetings to All! This European Market is simply a dream come true, a magical store for me, my family, and my relatives. It's a nice store with a variety of cuisines, and amazing food. Their torte with sour cream and cherries is out of this world. Their cabbage dolma and chiken in made in French version are simply mouthwatering 😋.The salads especially the quinoa, and cabbage, korean eggplant salads are tasty and healthy. You can buy anything and everything in this store. The most important thing is that the place is very clean, and you can easily find a place to park, and it has indoor and outdoor services. I no longer worry about cooking. I always go to Olive store with joy, especially knowing that I will be welcomed with beautiful smiles of Hasmik, Valentina, Vera, and sweet Nalya. They are all helpful, courteous, and provide outstanding customer service. You can also earn points and use them during your next visit. In addition, I would like to commend the store manager/owner for having such a wonderful store for our community, and for hiring such amazing chefs, and staff.
