“My third or fourth visit to Hawks. I've never been disappointed, and tonight was a memorable experience. Party of four for early dinner. The mushroom soup amuse bouche was wonderful. White Fog Farm lettuce salad was (reportedly) excellent. The Caesar salad was tasty but the creamy dressing revealed it as an imitation Caesar (in my opinion); the saving grace was the white anchovy on top. (I am a Caesar salad purist and I am frequently unimpressed; woe is me.). Entrées: Duck--excellent! Short ribs--excellent! Steelhead--excellent! Lamb loin--excellent and more! Wine: Fair--a Tuscan red, good but overpriced for the quality. Dessert: We have had the "beignets" before--these are tasty enough but they are NOT in any sense beignets--just sugary doughnut holes with caramel sauce on the side. What they called an entremet might, in a pinch, be considered a "deconstructed" entremet--but an entremet it was not. The parts were, however, very good, if little more than a small mound of fond chocolate with cocoa nibs and a bit of white filling. We were very pleased with the unexpected serving of two extra dessert items, quartets of little chocolate dollops on shortbread and Sangria-infused gel cubes--very playful and delightful. Decent late-bottled vintage port and good tea and coffee. The service was spot on--absolutely top-notch. We were VERY pleased with service and atmosphere. Despite the scattered culinary contradictions, I say : Go to Hawks--time well spent.“

“Been here three time and have enjoyed it very much. My favorite is Spring or Summer when you can sit on their patio. Friendly service, great food, menu seems to change a bit so something new to try each time. The Pastrami sandy is a must try!“

“Love this place! Always a warm welcome busy place. The staff is always super nice & attentive. This is my #1 place in Roseville for breakfast & lunch. Spice your day up omelette is great! 9/10 California Benedict 10/10 I recommend getting extra hollandaise sauce. LOVE the veggie sandwich, packed with so many veggies & delicious flavors! 10/10 Fries 10/10 The loosen your belt turkey melt is awesome too! 9/10, just add avocado & it makes it a 10! They're always busy but worth the wait! Indoor & outdoor seating, always feels very clean. I've even had catering done here & the whole process is a breeze! Great food, great hospitality!“

“Food was okay. I've eaten here a few times and the prices have gone up a lot! Our bill was $50 (with tip) for two meals and two soda drinks. We ordered a stack of pancakes and a French dip! Will not be eating here again just because of the steep prices for what we ordered.“

“The food was absolutely wonderful!! I am from Texas City Texas I can to visit my sister . We ordered a little bit of everything. I seen the owner taking pride and preparing the meals . They handed the food very nicely. My Brussel sprouts was the best !! Never had them like this . The meatloaf was well seasoned . My Mac and cheese was great ! “Be prepared to wait! Even coming for early dinner it is PACKED. But worth it every time. A staple dish is the Mary's fried chicken. Not pictured are the pesto fries and they're bomb. All their cocktails are delicious, lots of beer on tap, and seasonal dessert options. All the same people always working and so kind. Never disappointed when I leave here.“

“It's always worth the one hour drive from our home to enjoy lunch or brunch at the High Hand Cafe where you can enjoy your meal while you feel you're eating in a beautiful "greenhouse" we've consistently enjoyed delicious breakfasts and sandwiches. They are adjacent to a nursery and a pretty incredible koi pond. So, if you do not have a reservation and there is a wait...it goes by pretty quickly as you meander through the grounds. And even after, there are shops and a wine tasting option on the premises! THE STAFF... each and every time we've visited, we have come away thinking and feeling how nice it is to enjoy a meal served by an entire staff that truly enjoy serving, Always pleasant and with a smile. Give High Hand Cafe a try...you'll enjoy the entire experience!!Kid-friendliness: We have visited High Hand Cafe with the kids, the staff is attentive and quick to take our order and deliver the meal! There is even an outdoor pizza oven so the kids enjoyed seeing their pizza being made!“

“We had a great meal at Lazy Dog! The food and service were 10 stars! Emma our serve was amazing. She was very sweet, helpful and happy! “My friend said the gluten-free pizza was the best she has ever had. This may be hard to believe, but I am the only one in our group that likes anchovies :) The cook gave me some on a separate plate to add to my slices . We all thought the pizza was the best we have had in a long time .“

“Usually the food was amazing and it was still good but my steak with broccolini and mashed potatoes was a salt lick last night. We had lots of burgers, the amazing poke for appetizers (2 for 5 of us because it’s that good) and drinks. They turned on the fire pit for us and then we hung out there for a bit. Great time as usual.Make a reservation if the weather is nice or they probably can’t fit you in even if you see tables available due to staffing. They will let you sit in the bar area and get appetizers.Parking: One of those teeny lots where people make about 5 spaces on their own during dinner“

“First time there and loved it! Dog friendly so had a nice patio seat. They even brought Scar a bowl of rice, chicken, egg. Human food was great. “Far and away my favorite place in Folsom for a quality meal. We frequently go here for special occasions. The outside patio is really nice and the service and quality of the food is top notch! The steak and potatoes appetizer with the addition of prawns is my absolute favorite!If you are looking for fine dining with a comfortable atmosphere in the Folsom area, this is the place!“

“Land Ocean is a nice date night, special occasion, or just looking for a good plate for brunch, lunch, or dinner. It gets busy in the evenings, especially on weekends. If you're looking for a nice date night or special day a reservation is recommended. We usually get the land ocean with king crab legs (they crack them for you, which is a plus), the calamari is okay (not as breaded and crisp as I'd like), the large side salad is a good split plate option, and the burgers for lunch are delicious, the brunch veggie skillet is delicious, and it is children friendly here.“

“I didn't give a 5 star on food just because I only had appetizers. I highly recommend the brie and bread and the fried zucchini. The appetizers were big, and I had a ton of zucchini. My husband did get the French dip. He said it was ok. Service was great and liked the chill atmosphere. I will definitely be going back.“

“I'm a newly minted platinum member, and my game has improved immensely since I started going to Top Golf 6 months back or so. I get bored to death at driving ranges and this is a good remedy. Only dropping 1 star off the food for two reasons... Killed off my two go to menu items the breakfast biscuit and the Turkey wrap. Breakfast biscuit because it was the tastiest and turkey wrap cause it was good and under 1000k calories which is hard to find on the lunch menu. The tater tot hash thing doesn't compare and the similar "light" lunch item in the grilled chicken sandwich... Not great honestly. I get someone obviously made the decision to get biscuits and wrappers out of the kitchen and get everything on tots or a hamburger bun to simplify things... But these were really two of the better items for a regular who doesn't want a burger 3 days a week I'm my opinion. That plus more seasonal rotating taps, like some stouts, porters, ambers and reds on the beer menu would be nice too. Lagers IPAs and Mexican beers are swell but the more the merrier on beer. Love going here, great service every time... just sharing minor, minor grievances/suggestions and mostly because I was looking forward to a breakfast biscuit and had my heart broken. Also 1000 thanks for the veteran discount!! Great team running this place, hope you open one in Folsom or EDH too!“

“We really enjoy our visits here, we have come by for lunch and dinner. It's a pretty chill place normally. We did come by on a Friday night and they had karaoke in the bar, which was fun to hear. The manager really helped us when had an issue with the food. The item was removed from the check and a glass of wine was comped. Really appreciated how quickly he responded. The mac and cheese is good but need some salt and more flavor.... but love the creativity and the combination of mac and cheese in a sammy!Fries were a bit oily but that's everywhere and I liked the ranch. “I am delightfully surprised to find this Kitchen at Barnes and Noble. I had the Caesar salad with Salmon, it was delicious but pricey. The drink service is from the Starbucks cafe, so refills might be slow depending on how busy the cafe is. “This is my new favorite spot to come. Christian is just amazing, Jennifer is a doll, and a wonderful, friendly waitress. Quinn was way too good. “Loved the ambience and everything this place has to offer. This is an old school saloon type diner. Staff is mostly young but very well behaved and courteous. We opted for outdoor seating as it was a warm day. Seating is great and generally quiet although they are right on the street. Food & drinks were good. I ordered the burger and the bacon was nice & thick cut. My wife's shrimp tacos wasn't skimped on. The tri-tip nachos were delicious. Overall loved the experience and will definitely visit again.“

“They can’t separate receipts.Got the 101 burger which was really good. Cooked well and didn’t fall apart while eating.Got the “First time Flyer” 6 beer sampler with it. They had to sub out one off the beers as they had ran out but was still good.The issue was at the end where they couldn’t divide the receipt. A little disappointing as we had to calculate between three of us for expenses.“

The seasoning was on point, maybe a little too much salt on the onion rings but its bar food, it's supposed to make you want to drink more beer. Their fish tacos as very tasty as well. Great food; my cheesesteak was amazing and the homemade chips were on point. The prices are totally fair. The ambience was fun with a lot of regulars in good spirits. The music was there but not so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation. Apparently one of the owners is from Chicago, so there is plenty of Cubs and Bears paraphernalia along with SF gear (the other owner is NorCal) and it definitely has the Midwest "neighborhood bar" vibe. I half expected to see a bottle of Mallort behind the bar. Anyway, you should definitely stop driving by The Glass Turtle and stop in!!“

“Any Jack's Urban Eats is always a pleasure to visit and go thru their cafeteria like ordering system and then sit and hangout a bit. This time we did an online order and was able to pick our food up from their self pick up shelf which was nice because I didn't have to visit the busy workers. I always go for their chicken sandwich, husband likes to get the mango salsa chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun which is so nice that they offer, and we go for the family garlic fries which are always good. We also got a side of Mac and cheese for our one year old and I haven't ordered that dish before and unfortunately it was not good. Was not nearly cheesy enough and the noodles weren't cooked al dente. My baby girl didn't even give them the time of day and she LOVES Mac and cheese. Maybe it was a bad batch but probably won't try that again. Otherwise any other item on the menu is amazing! And truly the employees put in work to make it amazing so kudos for them.“
