“Driving through town, we needed a bite and want to thank all you 5-star reviewers of Spoon Trade for steering us here because the food was fantastic! It was a busy Saturday afternoon and we got one of the last tables available. Super friendly service straight away and a great vibe all around. Very interesting menu! A diner for foodies. Wife had the vegetarian Tikka with a side sausage patty, which she loved, and my son had the Benedict, which of course I tasted via dad tax and it was rich and yummy. I was going to get the chicken and waffles, which looked delicious on other people's tables, but opted for the duck noodle soup, which was a tasty ramen. It was on the pricy side, but everything was such great quality, original recipes, and made to order. We look forward to visiting again!“

“Most of the time, Thai food is relatively ok. This place definitely stands out! We came to stay for the weekend to escape the heat and it was overcast when we arrived so it got a little cold! The Tom kha soup (medium spice) was absolutely delicious! The chicken wings were cooked to perfection! Not too salty! The pad Thai was pretty good! The papaya salad was FUEGO (not for the people who are sensitive to spice!)!!! The service was really good! The young gentleman was kind enough to give us some to-go containers since I needed something to portion out the meal between 3 adults and a child! The waitress delivered the Thai iced teas and a Thai iced coffee! Both were super friendly! Great job yall! We really appreciate it!!!“

That Is one of the reasons I will continue to go back to beach Pizza along with the amazing food. “Brew the Right Thing Locally-owned and operated brewery that's been serving up suds to Grover Beach since 2012. The Good: *Plenty of parking in free shared lot *Legit wood-fired brick pizza oven produced some nicely cooked pies. *Love their dog-friendly outdoor patio, which is a must in SLO County. *Great value for their "Pizza & a Pint Combo" for $20 The Meh: *Bartender was slightly surly for whatever reason. I'm not sure if it's because we weren't regulars or he's just normally a grouchy puss? The Ugly: *The Breezlejuice IPA was skunked and tasted really flat and just not good. I would've probably said something to them, but señor grumpus made me think twice. Conclusion: I'm gonna assume the beer was just a one-time snafu because I can't imagine anyone would drink that swill. With that aside, everything else was great, from the pie to the ambiance to the value. Recommended.“

“My wife and I first found Monarch Grove on a trip to Pismo Beach searching for local wineries. We found their Groupon deal and paid a visit, which we were utterly charmed by. We love the proximity to the Amtrak station, the delicious, fruit-forward flavor of their wine, and how they are a small, local operation. We soon joined their membership club and ordered their wine all the way back to Los Angeles for our wedding, which our guests absolutely loved. We'd absolutely recommend Monarch Grove.“

“i moved to grover beach 11 years ago and soon discovered jalapenos restuarant. it is my favorite. the food is great, the service is great and i always leave feeling great. it is a small family business whos quality product is an asset to the community. i highly recommend jalapenos to anyone who asks where to get a consistantly delicious meal.“

“Great local spot! Went on a Saturday for lunch with my family. The owners are wonderful and friendly. The chicken and tri tip were very well seasoned. Great prices and a nice open dining area. They also have live music! Go check them out in Grover Beach!“

“Doughboy's is a long time favorite here on the Central Coast! They were pioneers of gluten free pizza, setting the bar high for others to "try" and imitate. They also have vegan cheese for all the vegans as well as for those who have lactose sensitivity like my youngest Daughter (a life saver let me tell ya!!! Haha)Their pizza crust has just the right amount of fluff while holding onto a perfect hardiness. Sauce, cheese and toppings finish off the pie just how it needs to be, delicious!They also have an assortment of appetizers, pastas and other eats that are also top notch....OMG, the lasagna is AMAZING!! Definitely one of our favorites!The crew are always friendly and on it and the atmosphere is chill, they are set up for takeout or delivery.Dietary restrictions: Their vegan cheese is great if you're lactose sensitive, but if you have a higher level of sensitivity, you probably still want to be care, avoid or take a lactose pill. They are great about warning you that the dough is made with milk, but for my Daughter it's not enough to give her trouble, just depends on your sensitivity level.Also, I'm not into the gluten free lifestyle, but friends I know who are, absolutely rave about their gluten free pizza, apparently it's the best ever! Sometimes they run out so try to get it early, they are very strict about the processing of it so limited quantities might be available depending on the demand.“

“Okay I was brought here as a treat by my daughter. When we arrived we were greeted promptly. The attention we received was welcoming. The decor, ambiance was warm. I ordered several items, tempura veggies and the best sushi roll. Salmon was so delicious and fresh. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion or just an amazing bite of flavor.“

“We've been getting takeout from GG for at least 7+ years and it's consistently good. The broccoli in their beef and broccoli is fresh and cooked to how we like it. The Singapore chow mei fun is what we order all the time. It has chicken, shrimp and pork with thin yellow curry noodles; yum. Anyway, it's our favorite Chinese around these parts.“

“The place is clean, service is fast and friendly, good selections on their menu, classic thai food are available. Parking is a bit limited, street parking available, front and side of store. I first ordered their boat noodle soup, but not available. So I tried their spicy basil with beef. I am not sure if the server just forgot to ask for the spuce level (both on boat soup and spicy noodle sou) or they do not actually have options for the spice level. My wife ordered Pad see ew.“

My wife ordered the top sirloin and I order the new York with onions and mushrooms both cooked medium well. Food was delicious we are definitely going back.“

“I've been going to Garlands all my life. They use to have another one in Nipomo and I use to eat there all the time. This visit to Garlands was a little different. I didn't taste the peppery taste, but that wasn't a bad thing. The burger was cooked great and the new buns are good. The fries are always good and the milkshake is even better. They also offer a lot of non mean items and chicken burgers for anyone who doesn't eat meat or beef. The service was great. I am already craving it again. It is pretty pricey. That is probably the only downfall.“

This is a small place so probably not good for groups but for the price it's good. It's comparable in quality and portion with other Thai in five cities. For a lowkey night out with my wife and another couple it's a great spot that even many locals haven't tried. Today I had drunken noodles and a side of white rice for 18.49. After tax.“

“I went in for a couple of breakfast burritos before heading out ocean kayaking with a buddy. I ordered my food from a really nice lady. A man came out from the kitchen and we started talking. I tried out some of my very basic Spanish on him and we had a great conversation. He was very kind and enjoyable to talk to. I ended up saying hello to everyone else working in the kitchen also. They were all full of smiles and had great attitudes! They even shared a sort of breakfast dessert with me!When I started eating my breakfast burrito, I was doubly enthused! It was so good and so filling! And the dessert was really yummy! Can't wait to go back for another meal!!!“
