“A group of 10 coworkers and I went here after work and it was amazing!!! I will definitely be coming here again with friends or for takeout. There are so many options at an affordable price. I got the two item combo with garlic naan, and I had plenty of food to take home afterwards. Service was awesome, the owners are super friendly, and food came out fast.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you're looking for the **best Indian restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles**, I highly recommend **Riwaaz Indian Cuisine & Banquet**. The food here is absolutely authentic and full of flavor—easily one of the top spots for Indian food in LA.
We ordered the **chicken tikka masala, biryani, Samosa Chaat, garlic naan, mutton curry and memna lamb curry** and every dish was rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. The **garlic naan** was fresh and soft, and paired perfectly with the creamy curry sauces. You can really taste the traditional Indian spices in every bite.
They also have great **vegetarian options** like paneer tikka and dal makhani, plus a variety of **vegan-friendly dishes**, which makes it a great place for everyone. Portions are generous, and the quality of the ingredients really stands out.
The ambiance is modern yet welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. Whether you're dining in or trying their **weekend Indian buffet**, this place offers one of the best Indian dining experiences in downtown Los Angeles.
If you're craving **authentic Indian cuisine, flavorful curry, tandoori dishes, or the best biryani in Downtown LA**, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!“

“We just came to the area after decades in the Bay Area (where Indian food is plentiful). The food we had tonight was great! The flavors were nuanced (unlike a lot of one-note places we'd left behind). We'll definitely be returning!“

“Wow! This is such an amazing and unique concept! I love the frankies selection from the menu. I tried Chicken Tikka Masala Frankie and Crispy Frisch Frankie and I’m satisfied! The frankies are made from naan which was freshly baked and the fish and chicken were nicely cooked and overall it was amazing! Reasonable pricing for the size of the food. Amazing service from the business and highly recommended to try if your looking for something new!“

“We had a fantastic birthday dinner here. Kind of pricey, but that's expected with elevated Indian food. We ordered the bacon & date Kulcha as well as the spinach & Mozzarella to start. Bacon and date was by far the better or the two. Then we shared the scallops (a hit!) and sweet potato Chaat (delish). Out of our 3 mains we enjoyed the chicken Korma best then the short ribs and aloo Gobi were tied. Interestingly they used broccoli instead of cauliflower for the Gobi and the potatoes had amazing flavor. Our only complaint was the noise level got to be extremely loud and it wasn't even a full house. Be prepared. We would definitely go again though.“

“I dined in around 6pm on a Saturday and it was perfect. It’s a small place with a relaxed vibe. The place was empty when I arrived but quickly filled up while I ate my food. I got the garlic naan, the sag paneer, butter chicken and rice. Everything was so delicious and flavorful. The butter chicken was my favorite - incredible spices and I could tell it was cooked on the grill (my favorite cook). The service was fantastic - both servers were so nice and the owner even came to greet us and make sure everything was ok. I would absolutely come back and recommend to a friend.“

“Authentic halal curries and fusion Indian topping pizzas. Small place big flavors.
Pizza crust is perfect chewy and good amount of chicken tikka on the pizza.
Also tried the Alu samosa, chicken curry, lamb biryani and garlic naan. Everyone in the group loved it. To be honest, I think this is the best Indian food spot in Torrance or Redondo Beach area. The manager is Nitin from India’s tandoori in Manhattan Beach and now he moved into this Curry and Pizza restaurant. He does excellent customer service and he is very friendly and professional. We know him for years and so happy he moved here.
Will be back soon to try other items on the menu.“

“I love this place. Service and food are great. Ravi used to live in England so I think that makes his food the closest to "back home" for me. Chicken Tikka Masala is so creamy.“

“Came here with a group of friends after someone recommended it, and honestly, it’s one of those places you might overlook at first. From the outside, it’s pretty low-key and not the most eye-catching, but once you walk in, the whole vibe changes. The staff welcomes you right away, and you can’t miss the wall full of awards—it definitely says something. The place itself is casual and not fancy, but the food and service really stand out. Everyone on the team checked in on us without being overbearing, and you can tell they work well together. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share and everything was full of flavor. Definitely recommend getting a mango lassi to balance out the spice—it came in clutch.“

“Just stopped by for my lunch break for the first time, the food is already prepped and warm similar to a Chinese food place so if you’re in a hurry this spot is amazing. They are also very generous with their portions and their prices are great. The lady who made my order was also very kind. Everyone seems to make their naan differently but this one was slightly greasy but delicious nonetheless including the chicken . Price for 2 portions, rice, and naan came out to 15 without the tip. Definitely recommend 👍“

“I can confirm. This is delicious Indian food.
Priced affordably. Do remember that they only accept venmo or cash.
The location is a bit strange in an old hotel, but there are signs to get you there no-issue.
All walls around you in the restaurant have expertly painted murals.“

“I had the chicken burger for lunch and really enjoyed it. The chicken was juicy and perfectly crispy, and the fries were nicely seasoned and delicious. I also noticed they have a curry buffet that looked amazing. I believe it’s around $14.99, so I’m definitely planning to try that next time.“

“We were a group of 2, ordered lamb and chicken biryani. Both were very delicious (a bit too spicy though we requested mild). Rice needed to be a bit drier than what was served, were told that it is how it's made in Northern India, it was so good, but wanted it to be drier :)“

“Shout-out to Taj Mahal of India for staying consistently excellent.
My first time coming here was toward the end of the pandemic, and it immediately left an impression. I hadn’t been back in a couple of years, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Walking in and being greeted by the same familiar faces honestly made my day. That kind of continuity matters.
This place feels truly family-run in the best way. You can tell the team works well together, and that care translates directly to the food. Every single time, it exceeds expectations.
The butter chicken, curry vindaloo, tikka masala, garlic naan. No notes. And trust me when I say this: you must order extra of everything. Non-negotiable.
Grateful this spot continues to do what it does so well. Still a favorite, still worth the return.“

“I came across this restaurant on Instagram and noticed they offered an extensive vegan menu alongside their standard options, so I knew I had to check it out.
Indian food has always been one of my favorites, and I only recently learned that most naan isn’t vegan. So, I was genuinely excited to see vegan naan on the menu—it was definitely a highlight for me.
The food was excellent. I started with the samosas and was pleasantly surprised to find they weren’t greasy—something I’ve experienced at other restaurants. They were light, flavorful, and a great way to kick off the meal.
For the main course, I ordered the vegan garlic naan along with the Vege & Beyond Meat Kheema Parota. Both dishes were excellent—the naan was soft, flavorful, and perfectly complemented the meal, while the kheema parota was rich, and spicy.
For dessert, I ordered the vegan banana split since they had run out of the vegan brownie à la mode. As with everything else, the banana split was absolutely delicious—a perfect, satisfying way to end the meal.
I’m sure their non-vegan fare is just as delicious as my meal was, and it really seems like there’s something for everyone at this new-to-me restaurant find.“
