“We had a wonderful dinner! And then they brought us a dessert and card for our anniversary. We highly recommend this restaurant.”
“Went here for the first time today. I wouldn't really call this a tap room. I would call it an incredibly well stocked bar with some beers on tap and a lot of beers in bottles and cans. I've been to probably 50+ breweries and more than 20+ taprooms in my life and this is not what I expected. Anyway, I ordered the taco pinsa. It was almost excellent. Just needed the bottom of the bread to be cooked a little more crunchy. But the flavors and idea of it was so good! We sat outside and played cards and it's a nice environment in which to hang out. There was a guy down the street playing music so that was cool. I gave the service a 4 because all the women were so nice but, of course, I got the crabby guy. Anyway, if this review sounds good, it's worth giving it a try!”
“First of all, the food and our waiter were excellent! We found the music to be a bit too loud, at times it was hard to hold a conversation. Our seating was the biggest problem. We were seated at a table right where the kitchen elbows. Most every waiter/waitress walked by with their big trays, most everyone who needed to be seated walked by. That table in this restaurant needs to be totally removed. I would go back - but only if I could be seated at a different table.”

“Over the top amazing. The fish tacos were incredible, the chili relleno is something I always order. Yes it is a Mexican restaurant but the food and the Cadillac margaritas are truly memorable, the experience is similar to exquisite dining. No table cloths no cloth napkins limited upscale decorations but a restaurant we always visit from Phoenix.”
“Big Rock is not a gimmicky theme restaurant. It is a wealthy Canadian food/logistics entrepreneur’s passion project, built like a rock and roll clubhouse with real money behind it. The food is apparently taken seriously, not treated as an afterthought, and the ambiance is probably the main event. Think upscale, over-the-top, music-memorabilia golf pub rather than a tired chain restaurant with guitars on the wall.”

“It was all OK... The tri trip and pulled pork was pretty moist. Portions were good and the value of my meal excellent.
The Mac & Cheese didn't dry out and the corn (IMHO) was very very good...couldn't eat the bread which seemed like a basic, grilled hot dog bun.
The worse part are the water cups, so tiny... I had to make 4 trips to the cooler to refill. Hated that part.”
“It's a very nice Mexican restaurant. My waiter was great and the food came out fast. I only have one complaint. I'm from the Midwest, Kansas and our Mexican food is served with ground beef, not shredded meat unless you order fajitas. I guess it's a California thing to use shredded meat instead of ground beef. Next time I google a Mexican food restaurant, I'll check out the menu first to see if they use ground beef!!”

“This restaurant has been around for 60 years. I have been a regular guest for 5 years. The staff is very professional and friendly! If you want a pleasant experience, I will look for you there! The menu is full of great dishes and if you like Margaritas, the ladies will set you up nicely! Located in Old Indio, they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! They have outdoor seating and any restaurant around this long means they are very good!!”
“I have gone to the restaurant and to the stand and I recommend both places. They're friendly and attentive; the restaurant is clean and the staff is welcoming. I've tried their Al Pastor tacos, carne asada and suadero and its a really good flavor. In my opinion their Al Pastor is very authentic; it reminds me of my childhood in Mexico.”

“Went in to celebrate a birthday today 7/20 around 7:30pm and they made it super special. The Joy team signed a birthday card and they sang happy birthday. Got the Kimchi stew with soft tofu. It was absolutely delicious. Also got the Szechuan Style Beef Tenderloin and it was great, very flavorful. Their service was outstanding. Our server was on top of everything. She was amazing! Will definitely be back.”
“I was visiting from Canada and celebrated the release of a debut music video at a place no more fitting than Big Rock! It was my first time here and I couldn’t believe how jaw-dropping the entire experience was. The glass-encased piano below my feet and the guitar-shaped door handles already had me grinning from ear-to-ear before I even stepped inside! The place got more magical as my eyes wandered in delight at all the musical wonders to look at throughout the well-used space - walls, floors, and even the ceilings were covered in signed guitars and incredible artwork. I tried their smash burger (subbed with a vegan patty) and it was delicious! I loved how it was served over tater tots instead of a bun, and its presentation was top-notch. What an exciting and memorable place! Thank you for running such an an awesome joint. Cheers!!”
“Wonderful lunch outdoor setting, delicious food and very friendly service.”

“Chili Verde Nachos are great!
Chorizo burrito was a little dry but still good. If you like the green salsa you have to ask for ranchers sauce. We asked for some and we were given red sauce when I asked about the green the girl said that is the green sauce. I looked at her if she was color blind. Then that's when she said to ask for Ranchero sauce.”
“This Del Taco has always been great! The young lady at the drive thru was awesome and they were quick with the order so I could get it to my wife asap. Side note, the one off Dillon Road in Coachella is terrible, save yourself some time and agony and go to this one! 😁”
“I always get the Del Beef Burrito when I come to a Del Taco. A large, thick burrito with nothing but beef, cheese and red sauce.
These things are better than anything put out by Taco Bell - though I must admit I do honestly prefer the taste of Taco Bell's meat. But trying to get a burrito there that is only beef and cheese is expensive.
EDIT: The owner seems to be under the impression that I didn't get quality service. I don't know what they're talking about, i thought i left a fairly positive review. I would respond to them directly but Maps doesn't seem to allow that.
My experience was good and positive and virtually identical to any other experience at Del Taco that I've had. This was not a negative review. And the people who responded for the owner disappoint me”
“Wonderful ambience and service- and fresh, fresh, fresh sushi!! Erin and staff were excellent! Can’t wait to go back- highly recommend!!”
“Don't recall ever seeing a Falafel burger anywhere, yet they have one, and very delicious one at that. The onion rings are most excellent. My husband had the sweet potato fries that he says they are delicious (I hate all sweet potato fries). The restaurant is clean, the employees very accommodating and nice, and they serve beer - can't get much better than this. Worth checking out if you've never been, I know I'll be back.”
Takeout Restaurants
“We were looking for a sweet treat, did a quick search, and ended up here—and we’re so glad we did. The menu is simple and focused entirely on raspados, and they truly specialize in them. The flavors were delicious, and the texture of the ice was perfect—every bite was packed with flavor.
The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient, which made the experience even better. If you’re in the area and craving something refreshing, this spot is definitely worth a visit.”
“I only post reviews when it is terrible or delicious. This place swung for the fences. Massive portions and so delicious. Broccoli and beef, orange chicken, vegetable lo-mein, white rice, and fried rice. Cooked fresh and no disappointment. I have been trying to find a decent Chinese restaurant in her in the valley for 10 years and I found it!!!”
“BEST Sushi in the desert! Consistently great.”
“I came to get lunch at the busiest time of the day and there was a Guy getting ten sandwiches and seven others waiting in line. The very nice employee named Jenny was working solo because the other employee was on mandatory break and Jenny quickly got everyone taken care of with a smile and kind words. Get that girl a raise, she deserves it.”
“Loving coming here the food is always good and just an old dinner vibe! I always get the cheeseburger with avocado and bacon. One of the only thing that sucks is the pricing really doesn’t make sense single cheese burger avocado and bacon is 9.99 but with the double is five bucks more. Overall great experience and really good food!”

“I really enjoyed the quesadilla. Initially in dropped in just to explore the menu, but the aroma was amazing and I ended up ordering food. They really have attention to detail with their signature offerings. I see myself dropping in more often. Especially great for those using the 4th & 9th subway station.”

“I was very pleased with the quality of my coffee, the pastries and the attentive staff I encountered yesterday at the Daily Grind. The Basque Cheesecake was exceptionally moist and delicious. I took a blueberry muffin home for breakfast today. It was great, too!”
“We visited after spending the day at Joshua Tree National Park. The food selection was remarkable. We sampled many items. Everything was delicious and creative. The staff is kind, patient explaining the dishes we ate and welcoming. Overall a five star place from 2 people traveling from Missouri. Thank you a fantastic dinner experience!”
“I would say the store is original, signature, and actual. The drinks are all great, the foods are delicious, staffs are nice, the prices are affordable, ingredients are top-quality, the place is clean and nice-looking, the atmosphere is comfortable and cool. It is a really perfect place to hang out for every age. I’ve been coming here for like 3 years, since the day they first opened it. I highly recommend this place! Come through and try out some of the drinks and foods here! You won’t be disappointed. ”
“I'm 61 and I've been going there since I was around 6 or seven years old. My dad took me there on our way to salton sea fishing. We would stop at the bait store next door. The foundation is still there. I had lunch there today and just love the double cheeseburgers and fries. My uncle Kenny worked at the gas station there before I was born. Lots a memories.😁”
“After a long day at Coachella, we were looking for a good local spot outside the festival grounds—and Maxcy’s Grill hit the spot. It’s a solid, no-frills diner-style place that delivers exactly what you’d expect. The food was fresh, portions were generous, and the service was friendly. For what it is and where it is, Maxcy’s is a great choice if you’re in the area and want a satisfying meal without the crowds or high prices of the festival.”
“The taste is beyond a 10 !! My family loved the food the experience, the staff is amazing!! This was my first time experiencing a seafood boil like this and I’m glad I experienced it a place like this !! Will DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!”
“Amazing experience even though we thoroughly embarrassed ourselves while we were there. So grateful to Mike and his team for their next level superior service, delicious food, incredible empathy and generosity. Thank you! We will be back with much more to contribute the next time. :). Thank you to the entire lovely team here.”

“Wow it’s very rare when I sit at the bar but this time I had the best bartender/server (Kenneth) he was very polite n happy always with a smile, checking if I was ok n if I need another beer or anything he also suggested to try some other drinks.

“Even during the busiest times, the staff always have smiles on their faces and provide great service. Fast, friendly, and efficient every time. Pro tip: if you’re ordering your burger Protein Style, ask for the chopped chilies on the side—it can get pretty messy with the sauce. The food is excellent as always and easily makes In-N-Out our favorite fast food chain.”
“Thank you ANDREA AND SAMANTHA !!!!! for being amazing. I’m pretty sure I think that’s your name. We did not get your name but the order for ANGE on 5/5/26 at around 2 PM was amazing. You were quick you were fast and you gave My Daughter amazing customer service we had just left earlier from another restaurant who gave us horrible experience but thank you. The food was amazing. The service was spectacular. God bless you. Hopefully they give you a raise because you are amazing.”
