The Mac & Cheese didn't dry out and the corn (IMHO) was very very good...couldn't eat the bread which seemed like a basic, grilled hot dog bun.

The worse part are the water cups, so tiny... I had to make 4 trips to the cooler to refill. Hated that part.”

“It's a very nice Mexican restaurant. My waiter was great and the food came out fast. I only have one complaint. I'm from the Midwest, Kansas and our Mexican food is served with ground beef, not shredded meat unless you order fajitas. I guess it's a California thing to use shredded meat instead of ground beef. Next time I google a Mexican food restaurant, I'll check out the menu first to see if they use ground beef!!”

Yes it is a Mexican restaurant but the food and the Cadillac margaritas are truly memorable, the experience is similar to exquisite dining. No table cloths no cloth napkins limited upscale decorations but a restaurant we always visit from Phoenix.”

“This restaurant has been around for 60 years. I have been a regular guest for 5 years. The staff is very professional and friendly! If you want a pleasant experience, I will look for you there! The menu is full of great dishes and if you like Margaritas, the ladies will set you up nicely! Located in Old Indio, they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! They have outdoor seating and any restaurant around this long means they are very good!!”

“Greta time, went on a Saturday night, karaoke started closer to 9:30pm. Karaoke was fun but the other reviews are right, the microphones either don't work or you could barely hear, some people were singing and it was as if the mics were completely off. Someone at the table near us was openly smoking weed and it just smelt burnt the entire time, no one told him anything. Overall good time, our waiter with the ponytail/ glasses was attentive and kind, hopefully the mics get replaced soon.”

Absolutely wonderful experience at Joy Asian Cuisine! From the delicious food to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, everything was fantastic. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, with great attention to detail. The service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

A special shoutout to the scallion pancakes and wok-fried rice—both are absolute must-tries! The wok-fried rice is especially delicious with shrimp, and I would highly recommend ordering it that way!

It’s always a pleasure finding a restaurant that delivers on both food and hospitality. Such a lovely dining experience, and definitely a place worth coming back to. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing Asian cuisine!”

The funnest part is the short front door. You may have to duct to get in and the surprise is on the other side.”

“I was visiting from Canada and celebrated the release of a debut music video at a place no more fitting than Big Rock! It was my first time here and I couldn’t believe how jaw-dropping the entire experience was. The glass-encased piano below my feet and the guitar-shaped door handles already had me grinning from ear-to-ear before I even stepped inside! The place got more magical as my eyes wandered in delight at all the musical wonders to look at throughout the well-used space - walls, floors, and even the ceilings were covered in signed guitars and incredible artwork. I tried their smash burger (subbed with a vegan patty) and it was delicious! I loved how it was served over tater tots instead of a bun, and its presentation was top-notch. Chorizo burrito was a little dry but still good. If you like the green salsa you have to ask for ranchers sauce. We asked for some and we were given red sauce when I asked about the green the girl said that is the green sauce. I looked at her if she was color blind. Then that's when she said to ask for Ranchero sauce.”

“I have gotten Boba here a few times, but this was the first time I actually went inside. Staff was friendly and patient since my wife let me try to pick something on my own... The interior is bright and modern and they do have a large selection of beverages as well as random knick knacks everywhere. My wife ordered the Brown Sugar (her favorite) and I tried the Hokkaido for the first time. Their containers are interesting, but functional and I must say the beverage was a perfect sweet treat while running around town that day.

“I'm 61 and I've been going there since I was around 6 or seven years old. My dad took me there on our way to salton sea fishing. We would stop at the bait store next door. The foundation is still there. I had lunch there today and just love the double cheeseburgers and fries. My uncle Kenny worked at the gas station there before I was born. Lots a memories.😁”

“Wow it’s very rare when I sit at the bar but this time I had the best bartender/server (Kenneth) he was very polite n happy always with a smile, checking if I was ok n if I need another beer or anything he also suggested to try some other drinks.

We’ve been members of Indio Brewing for nearly a year, and after recently purchasing a home in the neighborhood, it’s truly become our own little “Cheers.” What started as a place to grab a great beer has turned into a place where perfect strangers have become lifelong friends.

The in-house brewed beers are, in our opinion, the best in the Coachella Valley. There’s always something new to try, and we love that we can take our favorites home in cans to enjoy later.

Lizzy, Chris, Steph & Kyle have created something incredibly special and rare in the Valley.
