“Really great service and the food is great. You can also order food to pick up which is nice when you don't want to go and do the sit down thing. The atmosphere is beautiful and it's nice we have this place in Jamul. The only downside is side is that the hours seem to be hit or miss which I assume is why they don't have more reviews. A new business needs to have set hours and be open 7 days a week to thrive in a small town.“

“A really good friend of mine told me this place has the best burgers. So you can imagine how excited I was to try them. She was definitely accurate , these cheeseburgers taste ridiculously good .I had a burger with bacon, cheese , avocado, tomato and onion , with a side of fries . I highly recommend having a cheeseburger and fry from this delicious burger joint at the Jamul casino.“

“this place is very good. amazing options for vegetarian and in general. the food is amazing and pretty healthy too. the service is impeccable and they are always asking me if i’m doing okay and i just find customer service like that to be superb. and they have craft soda! the kind of soda that doesn’t make you feel fat when you get it and is just the better soda options altogether. definitely on the pricey side with my ordering coming in at 15 dollars every time but for the quality i think it’s worth it.“

“This review is long overdue. Buckboard BBQ catered a team dinner for Granite Hills Football. We hosted 95 people after practice and hands down this was one of the best experiences for the boys. The food was INCREDIBLE. The boys got seconds and thirds of all the options and the serving staff was phenomenal. Bonus Buckboard was generous enough to provide dinner for our boys at a cost we could afford. Thank you for the wonderful food and team dinner. We have frequented the restaurant many times since then and every dinner was amazing. El Cajon has a GEM in Buckboard BBQ.“

We ordered 4 big meals and it was ready for pickup in less than 15 min.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians have every option that any other political party. They have a right to assemble, run for office. Shux I think there even allowed to eat yogurt, fish, cheese and each others farts. Let's face it, if man kind had evolved on veggies alone, we'd all be flapping around in the sand on a beach somewhere, burying our 2000 eggs she blasted in our mouths and made us risk our lives on this funkin beach. Dang it. I just got eaten by a carnivore.Dietary restrictions: That sucks I'm sorry to hear that.Parking: If your the type that stops your car before disembarking. Cali BBQ has a state of the art, multi million dollar rectangle of cement that can support your vehicle and prevent it from ripping down through to the center of the earth.Kid-friendliness: BBQ = Kid behavior on the positive side. Occasional loud mouth, some snoar-ers, 2 cry babies. 0 unfreindlieness.Wheelchair accessibility: You cant miss it.“

“The food here is pretty darn good. It's not inventive, but it is a great place to get a standard American breakfast. Service can be a little slow when dining during busy times and sometimes getting a table can take a few minutes. I wouldn't come here when you are starving, but you definitely won't leave here hungry.“

“Got the Mediterranean Bowl with tofu via delivery app. They know how to make a vegetarian dish that's for sure. Sour and salty dish well balanced with sweet potatoes and different textures. “Last night, I ate one of the best Salmon plates I ever had. They were super fast at seating us. I enjoyed the Jalepeno Cheese Curds too. Staff were friendly and helpful. “Vanessa was amazing in explaining the menu. Came here yesterday for the first time. We took her recommendations and ordered the chicken pesto, the 5 cheese grilled sandwich for my son and the Mac n cheese with lobster!! Omg- my new favorite place. This definitely will be on my list of must try eatery for all my friends and family! From the first bite- I was already sold! They were all so delicious- I even tried my son's grilled cheese and it was so good!!! You guys need to try this place! What a gem!!I will be coming here from now on.“

“I got the mac buffalo chicken fries and loved them theyre pretty big. In my opinion meant to share. There wasnt much cheese on it, and the cheese tasted like a nacho cheese instead of a mac n cheese, cheese. But its fast food so Im not sure what I was expecting.Also tried the pulled pork mac n cheese fries. Didnt like the barbque sauce mixed with rhe nacho cheese sauce, didnt know it would come with barbque. Last restaurant i got pulled pork mac, the pork came and held up flavor on its own. I will ask for it without barbqueue sauce next time.Still give it a 4/5 rating overall. Clean place, unique drink selection, easy to find, not much parking and drive through was closed. Food was good although expensive, big portions.I wouldnt come back often, but I would come back. Staff was friendly.“

“Great fun. Bee issue closing the main bar made our server go to a bar way further away. Ultimately they stop serving open alcohol drinks due to bees at the bar (though the cabana 2 down kept getting drinks...hmmm). Katelynn was a gem and did the best she could..“

“I love their dumplings and they had none the day I went. Not sure why, but that is one of the main reason I go here. The margherita pizza and pepperoni pizza was delicious as always. I tried their new "shaking beef," tasted like chow mein but I liked.My daughter really liked their Spicy buffalo cauliflower bites.“

“My friend and I were celebrating both of our birthdays at Black Angus for lunch. We decided to have the Campfire Feast - both had the filet mignon, loaded baked potato (she had the brussels sprouts, and I had the salad. A bottle of wine was half off! (I myself had an Angry Orchard). Our starter was the cheesy garlic bread (you can never go wrong with that!) And for our desert that was included we chose the Mudpie. And then, Robert, our amazing waiter brought out the Birthday Cowboy cookie with the ice cream to the side for each of us (he knew we were taking our cookies home). If you haven't tried this...omg! That entire meal for two (including the wine) was only $105 before tip. We did have to pay $5 each extra for the filet mignon and I believe the loaded baked potato was also a few extra dollars. Yes, we took leftovers home. In fact, I had enough for two more meals! So worth it and still so delicious. Robert, our waiter was very friendly and help. Helped my friend pick out the wine she wanted and gave us other suggestions while trying to select our meal options. He was very helpful. Black Angus is one of my favorite restaurants and they made our birthdays celebrations even more special!“
