“We loved this restaurant. We were visiting and arrived late one evening and were so pleasantly impressed with the food and service. We had the hummus appetizer and it was the best we’ve ever had, it had grilled vegetables, hot grilled pita, tzatziki, and wonderful hummus with pesto dollops. We also each had salads with grilled chicken that were excellent.“
“Maybe the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had.To me it tastes like a french gourmet breakfast plate put inside a perfectly grilled tortilla. Comes with hot ketchup they made on the side. Also, they let you swap avocado for the protein which is cool. Can’t recommend highly enough!“
“Yummy bowl and fantastic idea!! This is the chipotle of açaí bowls. I love that you can personalize your bowl in anyway you want. The store itself is very small and if you wanted to sit inside and eat you'd be crowded by people the entire time- which I didn't love. The gentleman making our bowls was very slow. I wouldn't recommend coming here in a hurry. But the açaí bowl flavor and freshness earned this spot 4 stars!“
“It is a nice restaurant at a nice location. In my opinion the food and beverages were overpriced for quality. We spent almost as much as we had spent at a Michelin star restaurant. They will need to take it up a notch to keep the interest of foodies.“
“We went here for a work lunch on a Wednesday at 12 pm and it was so good, I was impressed! We were a party of 11 so luckily there was one huge table left for all of us. You order at the register and sit down and they'll bring the food to you. Limited indoor seating but there's a large covered outdoor patio. I ordered the surf and turf with mashed potatoes and gravy and macaroni and cheese, and the pineapple coconut lime drink. Everything was delicious! I ordered my steak medium-well but it was so tender soft and delicious! The shrimp was very well seasoned and fresh, and the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were great as well. I really enjoyed my plate and will come back again with my family!“
“Regardless if you eat at the bar or the dining room- the food will be wonderful. I like to get a bar reservation when I'm in the mood for their unique sushi. I'm always treated to the freshest plates and epic service! The dining room is more limited. A three course dinner and an upscale atmosphere. You really can't go wrong. The Market is a place I frequent regularly.“
“The food at Nine-Ten is amazing. We had their sashimi to start and it was full of flavor and a lovely touch of acidity. We had the duck as an entree, which came with a pretty decent amount of meat, and asparagus and mushrooms on the side. I'm definitely not doing it justice in the description but it was delicious and filling. Not my favorite duck I've ever had but still tasted great. My favorite part was their half baked chocolate cake. It was the perfect cherry on top of a great meal.“
“Can't say enough about the food, views, and our server Ryan. He made a great experience fantastic. If only all restaurants had Ryan's.Every little detail was there including soft salted butter for the bread, good patios heaters, and great food and drink suggestions from our server.“
“Urban Plates is a fantastic dining option for families looking for a healthy and delicious meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to gather with loved ones. The menu offers a wide variety of healthy choices, from fresh salads to hearty grain bowls and flavorful proteins. Each dish is made with high-quality ingredients and expertly prepared, ensuring a satisfying and nutritious meal. And let's not forget about dessert - the options are just as delicious as the main courses. From decadent cakes to creamy puddings, there's something to satisfy every sweet tooth.Overall, Urban Plates is a must-visit for anyone looking for a wholesome and enjoyable dining experience. The food is top-notch, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is friendly. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings.“
“Seasons 52 always goes above and beyond! We have never had a bad meal here! Our waitress was super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu! We loved the wine that she recommended so much that we ended up buying a bottle to take home with us! The lamb was incredible as well as the Filet & Lobster!“
“This place is absolutely beautiful. The servers are super nice and the food was really good. The drinks were amazing. Be sure to park Valet. It's actually less than the metered parking. It was so easy to reserve a table, we got one right at the window with the beautiful ocean as your atmosphere. The prices are not bad for such a beautiful restaurant. I'd say ($15-30) per dish.Parking: Valet was only $8.00! The metered parking was more expensive.“
“Del Mar has grown up!I lived in Del Mar in the 80s and 90s, to see Del Mar and what we called east Del Mar, north city west today, it's unrecognizable. The cute little beach village 92014 retains the same feel. East of the 5 is now a destination for the bougie trendy crowd. The shopping is fantastic, the theatre's top-notch the food and atmosphere is as good or better then the best zips in the state.Nicks fits in perfectly. The place is classy, clean, and delicious.Top this off with world-class service, and it is a must-visit.“
“My experience has been good through and through. It wasn't too crowded, the service was timely and food was very delicious. As appetizer we tried trio of dips, dips were yum and pita was just perfect. I tried roasted chicken for mains that I highly suggest for chicken lovers. Their stakes are pretty good too. For dessert, we tried crème brulé and chocolate cupcake and they were very delicious. Overall, highly suggest it, and it'll be a go to place for me whenever in town :)“
“Shaun stands out as the most extraordinary restaurant manager I've ever had the pleasure of encountering. His service wasn't just outstanding—it was genuinely awe-inspiring. As a solo diner, Shaun made an extra effort to ensure I felt incredibly welcomed. His dedication to going above and beyond was evident in his eagerness to share fascinating insights about the kitchen, catering perfectly to my enthusiasm as a food aficionado. While the cuisine at Addison was nothing short of superb, it was Shaun's unparalleled service that elevated the entire experience to divine heights. His warm, understanding, and inviting personality made every interaction memorable. The thoughtful gesture of a sweet little treat upon departure was the cherry on top of a flawlessly coordinated dining experience. Having visited other Michelin-starred establishments, I can confidently place Addison in my top three worldwide dining experiences, largely thanks to Shaun's exceptional touch. Truly, a delightful experience in every sense.“
“Had a absolute amazing lunch and had to return and try dinner which was an amazing experience the food was excellent the staff was very outgoing and the management such kind people. Topped off with a breathtaking view!! I will definitely return Thanks again to everyone who made my visit special ♥️“
“The most beautiful view, the greatest food and the nicest staff and patrons. In beautiful Del Mar, CA. And not too pricy. And a full bar with interesting and delicious cocktails. And Carlos the bartender is a delight. This place is perfection.“
“This is a long overdue review for Urban Plates. I do not usually post reviews, however, I have to reward the consistency of outstanding customer service and consistently good food with my feedback. Manager Manny Mejia is always on site greeting guests and making sure all customers have an exemplary experience. I have been coming to Urban Plates for years with my family and friends. I love the Plate Pass program that gives me 20% off of my entire bill including wine/beer. The restaurant is always clean even during their busiest times. When it is peak eating times, you may have to wait for a table but, Manny and his staff will try to make your wait as quick as possible. Finally, let's talk about the food. The beet salad is one of my all-time favorite salads. I also love the chciken tenders which are addictive as are the fries. The steak with chimichurri sauce is delicious. I always leave Urban Plates feeling satisfied and happy that I am able to enjoy tasty food prepared in a healthful way. You owe it to yourself to eat at Urban Plates.“
“The staff greeted us immediately, seated us, and brought water to the table. Our appetizers CHOWDAH FRIES and Crispy Cauliflower arrived quickly -- as did our drinks. The fries were like New England poutine and surprisingly still crispy with the toppings. The cauliflower was spicy, tangy, but not too crispy, yet we liked it. The drinks were spot on. Two of us got Connecticut Lobster Rolls, one got Maine Lobster Roll, and the other got CLASSIC BEEF BOURGUIGNON. Each dish was perfectly prepared and presented. It is somewhere we will go again.“
“Had the pleasure of dining here with my family on March 3. Wonderful experience. Met chef Aidan at our table and what followed was a family taste sharing experience of many courses which were ordered with the help of our great server Tosh. Can't wait to come again. Great job Aidan!“
“Came here for a quick snack and drinks with the girls. Vibes are immaculate and the brussels sprouts were life changing. I promise they're way more appetizing than they look. We also tried the potato appetizer, which I would pass on. Still would recommend coming here though!“
“Overall: A good option for casual brunch or lunch near the park. The good: Food was great, particularly my bacon/egg/cheese sandwich. The bread was buttery, crispy, and thick, and had plenty of filling between the slices. The potatoes were seasoned and cooked well, and the portion sizes were more than filling. Service was friendly and they had high chairs for our baby. The not-so-good: They have limited hours, so don't expect a later lunch or dinner. Not a lot of outdoor seating, or even inside for that matter, so if it's busy it may be awhile before you're seated. The menu is somewhat limited.Food/drink: 8/10Atmosphere: 8/10Service: 8/10“
“Brunch :: I havent had a breakfast buffet in awhile and this one was amazing. Fresh omelettes, and so many other delicious treats. I wasnt a guest of the hotel, my friend was and met her here. We had children with us and got attentive service. The wait went by quickly. The place was packed with families but they kept the breakfast area stocked and cleaned. Great experience. I left very full and satisfied.“
“A (literally) hidden gem. The restaurant rests beside a small pond, found only by following a trail from the parking lot. Sitting outside under a cozy heat lamp, my husband enjoyed trying several beers while I had a POG seltzer. The service was fantastic, and the food was the best we'd had in a long time. I thoroughly enjoyed the locally crafted sausages and the baked mac n cheese. I learned that the sauces and dressings are made in house. My husband had the ahi nachos - chips and sauces also made in house. We'll be coming back!“
“We stopped here on Easter Sunday and were pleasantly surprised they had happy hour specials that day. We ordered the burger and beer special on happy hour. They let us choose any burger or sandwich from the menu, a choice of 3 beers and you also get a small salad and order of fries. It was well worth the $22. The fries were amazing. My only complaint is that the beer was slightly flat and the Philly cheesesteak was a bit dry and lacked cheese.“
“This locally sourced eatery is a terrific place and no doubt a hidden gem in San Diego.I stopped in for breakfast and ordered the breakfast sandwich, which came with three cage free eggs, sharp white cheddar, arugula, a chipotle aioli, on toasted brioche buns. You can add Nueske bacon to the sandwich for an extra fee.I loved that they used a soft scramble for their egg preparation. They did a great job on the eggs. They were light and fluffy. The eggs were very tasty, and the thick cut bacon was very flavorful and had a good chew. I loved that they took the time to toast the brioche buns. The aioli was tasty, the arugula peppery, and the white cheddar had a touch of sharpness.I had a cortado with my breakfast, and it was great. They offer a quality Italian roast. The cafe offers inside and outside seating. They also have grown many of the herbs they use on the premise. They offer great customer service.“
“La Jolla has no shortage of fabulous brunch spots. Shorehouse is great because it's a casual spot with large portions and good eats. They have seating both inside and outside. They are able to accommodate large groups and you can join the waitlist online to better time your wait. I've always had great service at Shorehouse, so it's become a bit of a favorite in our rotation. They have savory and sweet breakfast items. I tend towards the savory, but my mother in law always gets the pancakes with the chantilly cream that is a great added touch!“
“Great local spot and my go to dive bar to watch sports and enjoy bar food. They have wing wednesday and my top picks are there philly cheesesteak with fried green beans, lemon pepper dry rub wings, and the bratwurst. Service is unique and puts a fun twist on letting you know your order is ready with funny names. Cant go wrong with any if their beers on the wall, i typically go with the #15 or #22 hazy beer“
“We were pleasantly surprised that since we were delayed, the staff accommodated our reservation by setting an additional deck table. The food is fresh, quality and delicious - as well the cocktails are refreshing.Parking: The valet was only $15, the attendants were super helpful.“
“Went there for lunch out of curiosity and loved it. Went back for dinner and asked about the sautéed veggies, though I had the salad as my side. The owner brought me out a bowl of the veggies to try for free! Everything was fresh and delicious and I will definitely be back!“
“Great for groups- Large tables and we had children with our group and they were able to play on the turf outside the downstairs area while we were waiting for our food. I ordered the turkey and avocado salad with steak (I like protein) which was absolutely delicious. The protein made it extra filling. A sliced hard boiled egg would have elevated it perfectly so a note to myself to add that next time if it's an option. Lots of healthy options to choose from. Will definitely eat here again.“
“I went to Urban Cafe and I just wanted to say that they have very delicious food and their service is very good. The people there are very nice and respectful plus, their food is healthy and delicious. Their management is great and everything is clean and tidy. I simply love it!“
“Happy hour delight! Great prices and delicious food! A friend and I met here on a Wednesday afternoon for happy hour. I had never been to Zel's but was looking forward to trying something new. We sat on the bar side of the restaurant. The place was cute, quaint, updated and very clean. The bartender/ our server Alison was so kind and treated us like we were regulars. We ordered a few things to share and every single thing was so good. I wouldn't get the salad again - it wasn't anything special but everything else I'd revisit. I would definitely recommend this spot!“
“I visited last night and they had great live music. Our reservation was for 530 pm and the place was pretty empty, but by the time I left at 830 PM, it was completely full. I ordered the fried chicken which was great. It came with a biscuit which was even better. I also enjoyed the crap cake. The cookie Sunday dessert was great! The service was great. They had valet parking as well. Overall it's a beautiful place with great ambiance.“
“One of my favorite restaurants as someone with celiac. Being able to have a proper burrito after almost two years of not having one??? I still fondly remember the two trips I made here, and dream of going back, even though I am rarely in this area (would go a little out of my way for it though!) The drinks are also really good. Long wait and difficulty to find seating only mean that others also think it's a great place, and that's something I love to see: all-gluten free places being attractive spots for people no matter their food restrictions or lack thereof.“
“Came to Del Mar for a nice afternoon visit with the kids. Was worried about food being too upscale. Wanted a nice beer and tried WestBrew. What an excellent choice. I had the WestBrew burger with a side salad, and it was the best food I’ve had since being in California all week. Wife had the club and loved it. They have kids menus, crayons, and kids cups. Had the seal cove and was very surprised by its delicious taste. Great choice of IPAs. Super simple little spot and would def. Recommend to anyone who comes to Del Mar for a lunch spot.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu, crayons, kids cups“
“This was a fantastic experience. We took the tour with Lee. He was very knowledgeable, and we learned quite a bit. Top notch. Had a few drinks at the bar, Laura was fantastic. The interior was beautiful. Lots of natural light. Great deals for their bottles. Had a great time, I definitely recommend a trip here.“
“This might be embarrassing to post but I've been here probably six days in a row, always ordering french fries and espresso martinis with the girlfriend and her lady friends. The staff is amazing and I almost want to apologize for putting them through so many espresso martinis lately. The french fries are addicting, I'm pretty sure there's crack in the sauce provided with them. The staff is amazing and kind and the view is lovely. We come here too often and couldn't appreciate the amazing service more.“
“Great local spot with true Italian and seafood options. I came here with a large party and we had excellent service and great quality meal. I highly recommend if in the area and seeking Italian. I ordered the linguini clams and it was filling with a great sauce! Well done Osteria!“
“They have a seasonal menu, which is an awesome thing. The fact that there are 2-3 items which change with season what’s the restaurant world apart from the others. Also the restaurant is really big and has a combination of outdoor and indoor seats and family seats.“
“The ordering downstairs is great. Food is simple. The condiment bar and the upstairs seating with the view is wonderful. Fairly busy when we went and they didn’t have the vegan pancakes which I was really bummed about but the tofu scramble was good. Wish the kids meals had side options. The apples with the cheese pasta noodles was interesting and the portion was fairly small so if you have a kiddo with a larger appetite maybe get an adult entree. But overall nice spot. Great location. Would recommend trying at least once for the experience!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian safe for sure. Wish more vegan options.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu and crayons at the condiment bar.“
“1st time @ Pacific Social. We saw ad on FB so decided to check joint . We were greeted quickly & seated immediately. We ordered our drinks & Food & received good service . Our drinks were excellent & our food was superior.“
“Amazing. As a senior, I normally have to monitor my food intake. Server staff did it without a problem and a questionable stare. As a result, and mind you on a busy holiday nite, there was not a tad of a problem. As a result, this is the day after and no dietary repercussions. Trust me, you will love everything, food, servers, and according to those who can have stronger beverages (my family),the impression still stays wonderful !!“
“Such a great high energy Brewery in Del Mar right by the horse-track. Beer is phenomenal, food is great (good amount of options) and atmosphere is electric! We even got a rainbow to enjoy during our meal! One thing, this place is popular, parking can be a pain, but there is a pay lot right next door. Pricey, $8 for two hours.“
“High. Class. Gorgeous interior and exterior, so clean and roomy. Everyone on staff was in good spirits and very accommodating and down-to-earth. The food and the coffee were excellent. I got the ham brekkie sandwich, and they brought me the bacon one instead, but why not? The brekkie sandwiches come on their homemade milk buns, and you just have to try one. A great place for study. It was quiet, not too crowded at all, and with good quality lofi jazz music in the background. I will be returning ASAP. And— the bathrooms have ring lighting on their mirrors.“
“Overpriced, but the food was delicious and the service was excellent.Note that if you order a Chivas on the rocks, you'll see a $3 additional charge for ice, which is ridiculous. When asked about it they explained that they pour an additional half ounce?!? *LOL* Talk about shooting yourself in the foot...“
“Came here for brunch on the weekend. Made reservations ahead, but place was not very full when we arrived. There are lawn games in the front but opted to eat inside. Started with the honey lavender scones and scotch egg. Scones were a bit smaller than normal but were tasty with the clotted cream and jam provided. Scotch egg was flavorful and came with a whipped butter. Fish and chips came with a sizeable piece of battered fish which went well with the condiments. I had a beet salad that was colorful and delicious. Plenty of different beets and enjoyed the textures of the pomegranate seeds and hazelnuts. Service was prompt and our waiter was nice and helpful.Parking: Plenty of free parking available“
“Nordstom has lots of different F&B concepts in all their stores. I highly recommend for you to try them all. Service is always good. Everyone is friendly. Food comes out really fast. They typically have not only the soup of the day but they have chef specials everyday so the menu is never boring. At this location of Bazille I’ve been three times and all have been good. We always get the cilantro chicken tacos and the French onion soup . Both are amazing and will not disappoint. Occasionally I’ll get Cocktail or beer. Those are all solid, we usually also get cookies for dessert or take them home. Nordstrom has the best cookies as well. We will be back!!“
“While enjoying drinks and dinner with my wife in the lobby, there was a drunk individual who was escorted out by Devon, the security manager. I was truly impressed by Devon's remarkable composure and professionalism. It is evident that he is exceptional at his job.“
“Great place to watch sports with friends and have a decent selection of beer to choose from. The service is pretty fast, you order from your phone using the QR codes on the table. Last night I was here with a few friends, I ordered the shareable buffalo chicken tenders. They did not look like the picture in the menu at all. They honestly reminded me of Tyson chicken tenders you get from the store that were drenched in buffalo sauce. I would avoid this menu item.“
“The oysters were fresh and juicy. I had Grilled mixed which included three different meat selections, good for those who's very indecisive like myself.I also tried a bite of both seabass and cod. Really like the taste and texture of the cod (don't remember the name of the dish), but the seabass was a bit dry for me.We still ordered some dessert when everyone was so full, the "peach" one was not too sweet and not too heavy after the main course.Overall, the food/service was good but pricey.“
