“I visited last night and they had great live music. Our reservation was for 530 pm and the place was pretty empty, but by the time I left at 830 PM, it was completely full. I ordered the fried chicken which was great. It came with a biscuit which was even better. I also enjoyed the crap cake. The cookie Sunday dessert was great! The service was great. They had valet parking as well. Overall it's a beautiful place with great ambiance.“

“We have a large party. We called to get a last minute table on a Saturday night. The restaurant accommodated us without any issue, despite the fact that they were busy. Every single staff we encountered was beyond amazing. The hostess came to our table several times and interacted with our children and made sure several times we were doing well. She even brought them Color sheets and crayons. Our waiter (I believe Al) was so attentive and made sure our meals were correct (we had to make quite a few changes to some of the items we ordered). We sat on the patio and it was a little cool. We were asked many times if the temperature of the heaters were okay. The staff was on top of literally everything! The food was amazing! Everything from our appetizers to desserts. Our favorites were the bread, brussel sprouts, chicken Parmesan and the filet mignon, but it was all amazing. Thank you so much, Nick & G's for an amazing and relaxing meal out. We will 100% be back again.“

I'm always treated to the freshest plates and epic service! The dining room is more limited. A three course dinner and an upscale atmosphere. You really can't go wrong. “This place is absolutely beautiful. The servers are super nice and the food was really good. The drinks were amazing. Be sure to park Valet. It's actually less than the metered parking. It was so easy to reserve a table, we got one right at the window with the beautiful ocean as your atmosphere. The prices are not bad for such a beautiful restaurant. I'd say ($15-30) per dish.Parking: Valet was only $8.00! The metered parking was more expensive.“

“Del Mar has grown up!I lived in Del Mar in the 80s and 90s, to see Del Mar and what we called east Del Mar, north city west today, it's unrecognizable.The cute little beach village 92014 retains the same feel. East of the 5 is now a destination for the bougie trendy crowd. The shopping is fantastic, the theatre's top-notch the food and atmosphere is as good or better then the best zips in the state.Nicks fits in perfectly. The place is classy, clean, and delicious.Top this off with world-class service, and it is a must-visit.“

“The oysters were fresh and juicy. I had Grilled mixed which included three different meat selections, good for those who's very indecisive like myself.I also tried a bite of both seabass and cod. Really like the taste and texture of the cod (don't remember the name of the dish), but the seabass was a bit dry for me.We still ordered some dessert when everyone was so full, the "peach" one was not too sweet and not too heavy after the main course.Overall, the food/service was good but pricey.“

“This is a long overdue review for Urban Plates. I do not usually post reviews, however, I have to reward the consistency of outstanding customer service and consistently good food with my feedback. Manager Manny Mejia is always on site greeting guests and making sure all customers have an exemplary experience. I have been coming to Urban Plates for years with my family and friends. I love the Plate Pass program that gives me 20% off of my entire bill including wine/beer. The restaurant is always clean even during their busiest times. When it is peak eating times, you may have to wait for a table but, Manny and his staff will try to make your wait as quick as possible. Finally, let's talk about the food. The beet salad is one of my all-time favorite salads. I also love the chciken tenders which are addictive as are the fries. The steak with chimichurri sauce is delicious. I always leave Urban Plates feeling satisfied and happy that I am able to enjoy tasty food prepared in a healthful way. You owe it to yourself to eat at Urban Plates.“

“The staff greeted us immediately, seated us, and brought water to the table. Our appetizers CHOWDAH FRIES and Crispy Cauliflower arrived quickly -- as did our drinks. The fries were like New England poutine and surprisingly still crispy with the toppings. The cauliflower was spicy, tangy, but not too crispy, yet we liked it. The drinks were spot on. Two of us got Connecticut Lobster Rolls, one got Maine Lobster Roll, and the other got CLASSIC BEEF BOURGUIGNON. Each dish was perfectly prepared and presented. It is somewhere we will go again.“

“We had the prime rib dinner and it was wonderful with prime rib/soup/mashed potatoes and asparagus. It also included dessert and my husband had strawberry shortcake and I had a cookie that was macadamia nut and white chocolate, with Ice cream on top. Our server was Rudy and she was excellent and nice and helpful to us. The food was delicious and had lots of variety. I never have found a restaurant chain that is so clean and welcoming plus such well created recipes.We will return soon to try more of their large menu selections.Parking: Parking lot is open on three sides of the building and ramps and doors to the restaurant and take away section are open and working.“

“Brunch :: I havent had a breakfast buffet in awhile and this one was amazing. Fresh omelettes, and so many other delicious treats. I wasnt a guest of the hotel, my friend was and met her here. We had children with us and got attentive service. The wait went by quickly. The place was packed with families but they kept the breakfast area stocked and cleaned. Great experience. I left very full and satisfied.“

“We stopped here on Easter Sunday and were pleasantly surprised they had happy hour specials that day. We ordered the burger and beer special on happy hour. They let us choose any burger or sandwich from the menu, a choice of 3 beers and you also get a small salad and order of fries. It was well worth the $22. The fries were amazing. My only complaint is that the beer was slightly flat and the Philly cheesesteak was a bit dry and lacked cheese.“

“A (literally) hidden gem. The restaurant rests beside a small pond, found only by following a trail from the parking lot. Sitting outside under a cozy heat lamp, my husband enjoyed trying several beers while I had a POG seltzer. The service was fantastic, and the food was the best we'd had in a long time. I thoroughly enjoyed the locally crafted sausages and the baked mac n cheese. I learned that the sauces and dressings are made in house. My husband had the ahi nachos - chips and sauces also made in house. We'll be coming back!“

“This locally sourced eatery is a terrific place and no doubt a hidden gem in San Diego.I stopped in for breakfast and ordered the breakfast sandwich, which came with three cage free eggs, sharp white cheddar, arugula, a chipotle aioli, on toasted brioche buns. You can add Nueske bacon to the sandwich for an extra fee.I loved that they used a soft scramble for their egg preparation. They did a great job on the eggs. They were light and fluffy. The eggs were very tasty, and the thick cut bacon was very flavorful and had a good chew. I loved that they took the time to toast the brioche buns. The aioli was tasty, the arugula peppery, and the white cheddar had a touch of sharpness.I had a cortado with my breakfast, and it was great. They offer a quality Italian roast. The cafe offers inside and outside seating. They also have grown many of the herbs they use on the premise. They offer great customer service.“

“Great local spot and my go to dive bar to watch sports and enjoy bar food. They have wing wednesday and my top picks are there philly cheesesteak with fried green beans, lemon pepper dry rub wings, and the bratwurst. Service is unique and puts a fun twist on letting you know your order is ready with funny names. Cant go wrong with any if their beers on the wall, i typically go with the #15 or #22 hazy beer“

“We like this place and the food is good but kinda pricey but everywhere it seems that way. A fair warning... we went for Thursday Karaoke night and reserved a table an hour before it started and planned on eating dinner and having drinks. Upon being seated, we were told we needed to order using our phones. We're seniors, so it's not easy for us, but we managed. We were also told that if all tables fill up, if we've been there longer than others, we would need to give up our table to others on the wait list. This meant standing which, with my mobility issues, is a problem. We mentioned this and the host said they would try to accommodate. As it turned out, we didn't end up needing to move but worried about this the entire evening. She said it's rare that they have to have you give up your table but still is crazy to do that to a group that is eating and drinking. We finished our food but we still ordered beer. The place never got busy enough for overflow and the weather probably helped that. The table behind us got seated are us and was not told about the table seating situation. So be warned if you go on a busy night, this could happen. Overall the place is cool, with arcade games for adults and kids and outdoor area is nice. Staff is very nice. Food and drink comes out fast which is good.“

“We loved this restaurant. We were visiting and arrived late one evening and were so pleasantly impressed with the food and service. We had the hummus appetizer and it was the best we’ve ever had, it had grilled vegetables, hot grilled pita, tzatziki, and wonderful hummus with pesto dollops. We also each had salads with grilled chicken that were excellent.“

“Due to a move and other factors, I hadn't been to The Cork and Craft for several years. I took some friends on Saturday 4/13 and had another excellent experience. The ambience is stellar, the food was delicious (Nashville hot chicken sandwich, salmon poke, seared salmon) and the service was top notch. The star of the evening was Gavin H. He is young, engaging and witty. And he didn't miss a beat (homemade potato chips aside!)“

“Great for groups- Large tables and we had children with our group and they were able to play on the turf outside the downstairs area while we were waiting for our food. I ordered the turkey and avocado salad with steak (I like protein) which was absolutely delicious. The protein made it extra filling. A sliced hard boiled egg would have elevated it perfectly so a note to myself to add that next time if it's an option. Lots of healthy options to choose from. Will definitely eat here again.“

“Happy hour delight! Great prices and delicious food! A friend and I met here on a Wednesday afternoon for happy hour. I had never been to Zel's but was looking forward to trying something new. We sat on the bar side of the restaurant. The place was cute, quaint, updated and very clean. The bartender/ our server Alison was so kind and treated us like we were regulars. We ordered a few things to share and every single thing was so good. I wouldn't get the salad again - it wasn't anything special but everything else I'd revisit. I would definitely recommend this spot!“

“One of my favorite restaurants as someone with celiac. Being able to have a proper burrito after almost two years of not having one??? I still fondly remember the two trips I made here, and dream of going back, even though I am rarely in this area (would go a little out of my way for it though!) The drinks are also really good. Long wait and difficulty to find seating only mean that others also think it's a great place, and that's something I love to see: all-gluten free places being attractive spots for people no matter their food restrictions or lack thereof.“

“Came to Del Mar for a nice afternoon visit with the kids. Was worried about food being too upscale. Wanted a nice beer and tried WestBrew. What an excellent choice. I had the WestBrew burger with a side salad, and it was the best food I’ve had since being in California all week. Wife had the club and loved it. They have kids menus, crayons, and kids cups. Had the seal cove and was very surprised by its delicious taste. Great choice of IPAs. Super simple little spot and would def. “High. Class. Gorgeous interior and exterior, so clean and roomy. Everyone on staff was in good spirits and very accommodating and down-to-earth. The food and the coffee were excellent. I got the ham brekkie sandwich, and they brought me the bacon one instead, but why not? The brekkie sandwiches come on their homemade milk buns, and you just have to try one. A great place for study. It was quiet, not too crowded at all, and with good quality lofi jazz music in the background. I will be returning ASAP. And— the bathrooms have ring lighting on their mirrors.“

“Such a great high energy Brewery in Del Mar right by the horse-track. Beer is phenomenal, food is great (good amount of options) and atmosphere is electric! We even got a rainbow to enjoy during our meal! One thing, this place is popular, parking can be a pain, but there is a pay lot right next door. Pricey, $8 for two hours.“

Fairly busy when we went and they didn’t have the vegan pancakes which I was really bummed about but the tofu scramble was good. Wish the kids meals had side options. The apples with the cheese pasta noodles was interesting and the portion was fairly small so if you have a kiddo with a larger appetite maybe get an adult entree. But overall nice spot. Great location. Would recommend trying at least once for the experience!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian safe for sure. “Came here for brunch on the weekend. Made reservations ahead, but place was not very full when we arrived. There are lawn games in the front but opted to eat inside. Started with the honey lavender scones and scotch egg. Scones were a bit smaller than normal but were tasty with the clotted cream and jam provided. Scotch egg was flavorful and came with a whipped butter. Fish and chips came with a sizeable piece of battered fish which went well with the condiments. I had a beet salad that was colorful and delicious. Plenty of different beets and enjoyed the textures of the pomegranate seeds and hazelnuts. Last night I was here with a few friends, I ordered the shareable buffalo chicken tenders. They did not look like the picture in the menu at all. They honestly reminded me of Tyson chicken tenders you get from the store that were drenched in buffalo sauce. I would avoid this menu item.“

“This is the second time staying at this hotel when we come in town. Overall the hotel experience is average, no complaints or issues. However, today for breakfast my family and I had an excellent server/waitor name Roberto. He went above and beyond even with the place packed and busy on a Saturday morning. He checked on us multiple times, clear our table and refilled our drinks without us having to wait or try to flag him down. There was one other server there but she wasn't very welcoming and didn't have good customer service like Roberto did. He was very professional and kept a smile on his face as he ran back and forth in the restaurant, he did not slow down once. I genuinely don't leave yelp post unless it's an awful experience but I felt the need to give Roberto a shout out. Nowadays in my personal experience, good customer services is hard to find, especially when you are supposedly required to leave a minimum of 18% or 20% tip even with terrible service.
